This season is an alternate continuation of Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race where 24 contestants from various Canadian children's and teen television shows that are set in Canada (well mostly) where they will be competing in challenges that reflects Canada's culture, history, identity and heritage. I've been developing the series since 2021 where it took me a few years because I want to make sure that I'm absolutely ready, preparing all the challenges, character dynamics, chapter titles and how the teams were formed. It would be really fun to have a crossover of Canadian characters competing against each other for a change since Total Drama is Canadian itself and most Total Drama crossover fanfics are usually limited to American characters. I do not own Total Drama or any of the other shows the characters are featured in. They are all owned by their respective companies

Audition tapes

Betty

Betty's audition tape takes place on stage at the gymnasium of her school. She walks over to the keyboard.

"Hit it!" she called to her bandmates who are offscreen.

Betty and the rest band start playing.

"Dog Star Sirius is so delirious. Do you really wish you were him? Dog Star Sirius is so mysterious. You can take my word on it. You can take my word on it." Betty sang while playing the keyboard. "Dog Star Sirius is so delirious. Do you really wish you were him? Dog Star Sirius is so mysterious. You can take my word on it. You can take my word on it. You can take my word on it. You can take my word."

Then, Betty's bracelet went off causing her to stop singing and playing with the rest of the band following suit. She then runs off.

"Betty, where did you go?" asked Noah who is filming the audition all confused.

Corey

Corey's audition tape takes place on stage in the garage of his house. He walks up with his guitar. He then starts playing.

"Dear mom and dad I'm doing fine, you guys are on my mind." Corey sang whilst moving about on the stage, not realizing that he is getting close to the edge.

"You asked me what I wanted to be and now I think the answer is plain to see, I wanna be famoussss…!" he screamed as he falls off the stage.

"Core! Are you okay?" asked Laney who is filming the audition.

"Speak to me!" cried Kin.

"Yeah dude, I hope you're gonna make it!" said Kon.

Corey than gives a thumbs up, showing that he is indeed okay.

"I will make it, both literally and figuratively!" Corey said with great passion.

"Whoooooo!" cheered Laney, Kin and Kon in unison.

Delilah

Delilah's audition tape takes place at The Academy.

"I'm a special agent at The Academy where I had been residing there at a young age, being trained to be the absolute best." said Delilah. "I would make for a great team player as I'm an expert in various fields."

It cuts to her doing fencing.

"I'm an excellent fencer where I'm the best on the team."

It then cuts to her bowing the Japanese way.

"I'm great with etiquette."

It then cuts to her speaking in various foreign languages in quick succession shifting from French, then Chinese and then Inuktitut.

"I can speak 20 languages."

It then cuts to her playing a cello.

"I'm a gifted musician."

It cuts to her where there's an explosion behind her in the distance.

"I'm an expert at explosives."

Then it finally cuts to her doing karate.

"And I'm trained in various forms of martial arts." Delilah stated before she accidentally kicks the camcorder, knocking it and Julius (who is filming the audition) out.

"D, not the camcorder!" groaned Julius.

Derek

Derek's audition tape takes place in the loungeroom.

"I am king of this house and I feel that I will also become king of Total Drama." boasted Derek who is lying on the sofa. "My dad recently remarried and I have to live with two stepsiblings, both of whom are stepsisters making it a grand total of five."

"You better not speak ill of me and Lizzie!" shouted Casey offscreen.

"That's one of my stepsisters." said Derek with his voice lowered. "She is a goody two shoes who is a huge pain in my butt."

Derek then stand up on the sofa and bounces in excitement.

"I'm gonna rule this season!" he shouted excitedly as he jumps off the sofa and runs out the loungeroom with boundless enthusiasm.

Franklin

Franklin's audition tape takes place in his room.

"My name is Franklin. I could count by twos and tie my shoes. I could zip zippers and button buttons." said Franklin. "I may be kind of slow, but I still pull through and never give up no matter what."

Franklin then walks relatively slowly to his shelf to get his stuffed dog Sam who is perched on the top next to his pet goldfish Goldie.

"This is Sam." said Franklin. "Say hi Sam."

Franklin displays Sam directly to the camera where he doesn't say a word since obviously he is a stuffed animal. He then takes Sam out of focus to bring attention back to him.

"I'm gonna bring him along with me." he said.

"I will be meeting humans for the first time, so let's see how it goes I hope." Franklin said all ambivalent.

Henry

Henry's audition tape takes place in the kitchen of his house.

"I have a very special gift." explained Henry who is standing next to the fridge. "The ability to make wishes through my mom's homemade mushy carrots."

He then opens the door to reveal a bowl of mushed up carrots with the top wrapped in cellophane. Henry picks up the bowl, takes it out of the fridge and closes the door. He then opens the top bench drawer, takes out a spoon and closes the drawer. Henry unwraps the bowl and takes a big spoonful of the carrots.

"I wish I was chosen to compete on Total Drama." Henry wishes as he puts the spoonful of carrots in his mouth and eats it up.

"Now I just wonder if the wish will come true." Henry said optimistically.

Ian

Ian's audition tape takes place in the backyard of his house.

"I just love movies and Total Drama will be the closet to me starring in one, albeit not working on one though it will make for an unconventional learning experience to hone in on my craft." said Ian. "I've been practicing constantly by doing my own challenges to get the full know how."

It cuts to him walking on a thin plank of wood supported by two cinderblocks on each side across a kiddie pool filled with water with his pet dog Chopin in the pool wearing a shark fin on his back while carrying a wooden beam with two large pieces of steak on each side. Chopin looked really hungry for the steak.

"Arf arf!" he barked which caused Ian to nearly lose his balance.

It then cuts to him jumping off the roof where he lands on the trampoline before bouncing off.

"Whoa!" Ian screamed where he hurtles toward a tree, grabbing the nearest branch with both hands to break his fall.

"Phew." Ian said with relief.

It then finally cuts to him riding a box taped to a skateboard down the driveway and across the road. A car comes his way and Ian swerves away from it just in time.

"Watch it punk!" screamed the driver.

Ian then hits the curb and flies out of the box before landing on the sidewalk. He then laughs hysterically.

Indie

Indie's audition tape takes place in the basement of her house.

"I live with a really hectic family and I want to spend some away from them." said Indie. "My older sister Chandra is the most favoured of them all, my older brother A. J. is a geek, my dad is a cheapskate, my mom upholds traditional values at the expense of what I want to do and my Babaji always gives me advice that I don't understand, so I decided to get back at them by competing on Total Drama plus I'm really good at setting up instructions for myself to help me navigate my life's lows."

"Indira! I hope you're not auditioning for that brainless reality show people call "entertainment"." called Indie's mom, Jyoti upstairs.

"No mom!" Indie called in response.

Indie then turns back to face the camera feeling awkward, hoping that she will compete on Total Drama regardless of how her family feels.

Jen

Jen's audition tape takes place at The Penalty Box.

"I work part-time at a sporting goods store called The Penalty Box." said Jen.

"Initially, it was like a dream come true since I love sports until I learned about the unpleasant realities of working such as the fact that the manager here acts like a drill sergeant." she said whispering the last part to avoid being called out by Coach Halder. "Anyway, I could do with a summer break on national TV so that I won't get hounded any longer plus the game is generally physical and I'm quite athletic for it."

"Masterson!" screamed Coach Halder offscreen. "15 minutes in the box."

"Yes coach." said Jen glumly as she walks over to the penalty box, her head hanging down to begin her 15 minutes.

"And you there, turn that thing off!" demanded Halder where Jonesy (who is filming the audition) scrambles to turn off the camcorder.

"Come on, turn it off." panicked Jonesy.

The screen then turns static just before Halder comes on screen.

Jibber and Jabber

Jibber and Jabber's audition tape takes place in the backyard of their house. Both were filming the audition all by themselves.

"I'm Jibber!" said Jibber.

"And I'm Jabber!" said Jabber.

"And we both like to go on adventures!" they said in unison.

"Whether as astronauts." said Jibber.

"Or pirates." said Jabber.

"Or kung fu masters." said Jibber.

"Or Goth Victorians." said Jabber.

"Or superheroes." said Jibber.

"Or invisibles." said Jabber.

"Now we want go on an adventure on TV." said Jibber.

"Especially since we watch TV a lot such as Total Drama." said Jabber.

"So pick us…!" they said in unison before being cut off.

"Jibber! Jabber! Did you take my camcorder!?" called Jessica offscreen.

"Run!" screamed Jibber.

"Yeah, we better post this tape in the mail before she gets to us." said Jabber in a panic.

They both run with Jessica's camcorder still in their hands before the screen turns static.

Josie

Josie's audition tape takes place in the classroom of The Science Club at Blake Holsey High.

"I'm a member of The Science Club at Blake Holsey High as I know a lot about science." said Josie. "During my time here, I've been experiencing paranormal activity where I've been on the receiving end of it sometimes such as being attracted to metal objects and possessing telekinetic powers due to a class experiment gone wrong, being shrunk to the size of a mouse and having supersensitive hearing."

She then walks over to her skateboard and picks it up.

"I also enjoy skateboarding in my spare time." she said. "While I know I'm not supposed to skateboard in the school building, I decide to risk it."

Josie gets on her skateboard and skates through the classroom.

Kale

Kale's audition tape takes place in her room. She is at her desk busy making the latest issue of her zine.

"I'm Kale and I'm the creator of Our Hero, a zine that highlights my life." said Kale presenting the cover of her soon to be published issue. "I created it to help express who I am, what I feel and how I think. Pick me for Total Drama as I have the brains, social skills and wordplay."

As Kale puts the cover down, one of her fingers races across the edge of it producing a cut.

"Paper cut!" she cried as she gets up from her desk holding the cut finger to get a band-aid.

Lauren

Lauren's audition tape takes place on the grounds of Dinosaur Explorer Camp.

"I'm one of the counsellors for Dinosaur Explorer Camp where I've been living there my entire life so therefore I have the experience needed when competing on a show that takes place at summer camp." said Lauren. "I'm also the first human in the world to witness dinosaurs, befriending one who helped me track down my father."

She then holds up a sketch she made of a dinosaur with feathers in its head.

"This is Eno. Although he is no longer with me, he will always have a special place in my heart with this drawing serving as a reminder of the times I had with him helping each other find missing family members." she said.

Lee

Lee's audition tape takes place in the hallway at A. Enigma High where he is at his locker.

"I consider myself to be individualistic as I don't feel that I belong in any clique." said Lee. "I was framed for the biggest school prank that led to me getting detention for a whole year as well as being grounded, though luckily I've found out who did it through a combination of maths, strategy and eventually athleticism which makes me well suited for Total Drama."

"Here's a Green Apple Splat." called Biffy offscreen throwing a Green Apple Splat to Lee.

"Thanks Biff!" he said as he opens the can and drinks it while walking away.

Loonette

Loonette's audition tape takes place at the Big Comfy Couch.

"I'm gonna jump over the couch." said Loonette.

She then runs to the left side of the couch and walks back several times. Loonette then runs towards it and jumps over it.

"The clown jumped over the..." before Loonette can finish her sentence, she shoots down while halfway over.

"Aahhh!" screamed Loonette as she lands on top of the couch before rolling down to the floor.

She then gets up with her hands on her hips, completely uninjured.

"Ta-da!" exclaimed Loonette.

Mimi

Mimi's audition tape takes place in her room.

"I enjoy helping out others whenever they're in need." said Mimi. "I believe I excel most in the social aspect of Total Drama."

Then suddenly, her pet cat Wimbledon lunges at her. Mimi grabs him with both hands, Wimbledon squirming and hissing aggressively.

"Wimbledon!" cried Mimi. "Don't ruin this for me!"

Mimi puts him on the floor and hooshes him away from her.

"I also have a powerful imagination that I use to make plans and solve problems." she said.

Then Wimbledon lunges at Mimi again. She tries to stop attacking her by holding him with both hands but to avail.

"Wimbledon, no!" screamed Mimi as she falls to the floor before the screen turns static.

Oliver

Oliver's audition tape takes place in his room.

"I'm very knowledgeable in the fields of science and especially history which would make me an ideal pick for a season that has a huge emphasis on Canadian history." said Oliver. "I dream of inventing, making scientific breakthroughs and diving deeper into history."

He then rests his arm on the VisiCron, not noticing until he gets zapped.

"Yowwww!" Oliver screamed before turning around to look at where his arm rested.

"Oh. That's just a mainframe that needs to get fixed." he said sheepishly, lying about what it really is.

Raven

Raven's audition tape takes place in front of the lake just outside Wapos Bay.

"Tansi! That means hello." said Raven. "I may only be 6 years old, but I feel I can do well on Total Drama. You see, I've been around nature my whole life which will benefit me in the long run. Also, I'm Cree and proud. I was inspired to take part because of Sky, who is Cree like me."

"Say hello to her." said Raven's mom Sarah, who is filming the audition.

"Hi Sky, you're my favourite contestant!" Raven said enthusiastically.

Reanne

Reanne's audition tape takes place at the park.

"I'm a greenie by heart, so naturally I will adapt well within the confines of Total Drama." said Reanne. "I just love camping and I especially love summer camp. I'll get to be around the elements 24/7 and connect with Mother Nature."

Then a huge gust of wind comes, violently blowing at her.

"That's Mother Nature calling now!"shouted Reanne trying to get her voice through the sound of the gust.

She then attempts to walk out of the frame which is difficult considering the gust of the wind.

Russell

Russell's audition tape takes place in his room.

"I view myself as a born leader who knows right and wrong." said Russell. "I moved here not long ago and I adapted very quickly to my new surroundings."

Then, someone throws a rock into Russell's open window open landing on the floor. Russell walks to the window.

"Knock it off Cliff!" shouted Russell. "That's just the neighbourhood bully who regularly picks on me." he said. "Anyhow, having a rigid moral compass bodes well in a competition like Total Drama."

Then, Cliff throws another rock into the window where it lands next to Russell barely missing him.

"Alright, that's it!" Russell said angrily as picks up both the rocks Cliff threw and throws them out of the window hitting Cliff both times.

"Owwww, mommy!" Cliff can be heard running away crying in pain.

"Sometimes, you just have to take the last resort." said Russell all satisfied.

Sadie

Sadie's audition tape takes place at the zoo. She is standing in front of a tiger enclosure.

"I treat everyday life like one big experiment as I enjoy observing animal behaviour in humans." said Sadie as one of the tigers walks over to the barrier and turns its lower half to the camera.

"I dream of being a naturalist and appearing on Total Drama will be an opportunity to be around animals more oft…" her sentence gets cut off when the tiger urinates all over her.

"Oh!" cried Sadie all covered in tiger pee unable to speak thoroughly as she walks out of frame.

Toby

Toby's audition tape takes place in the computer room at Degrassi High. He is on one of the computers playing a game.

"I'm playing 3D Pinball for Windows - Space Cadet." said Toby focusing on getting the high score.

"Total Drama is like one big computer game. I've been playing computer games throughout much of my life and only computer games. I don't really go for console gaming. Back to the point, I have the experience needed to ace in the challenges." he said as he turns to the camera.

Then he turns back to the screen only for his look to change, a look of horror.

"I've lost! Now I have to start all over." said Toby disappointed as he begins attempting to be the high scorer again, but with more determination.

Tommy

Tommy's audition takes place in Upyermukluk.

"I was born and raised in a small Yukon town called Upyermukluk which has become all kinds of crazy ever since a Frenchman from three centuries ago named Yvon Ducharme came to live with us." said Tommy as he walks through the town. "I've been going on numerous wacky adventures with him which gave me the confidence to take part in Total Drama as I feel that after a period of being Yvon's sidekick, I decided to get dangerous on my own."

"But Tommy." begged Yvon who is filming the audition.

"Yvon, this is my audition. Besides you're too old to compete like literally." said Tommy.

"Who says I'm too old, have a look at my living quarters." said Yvon who points the camcorder to his house.

"Yvon, this isn't funny." said Tommy annoyed as he points the camera back at him.

"This is gonna be a great adventure." said Tommy.

"You have to thank me for that." chided Yvon.

"Yvon!" groaned Tommy.
