Avenging Angel

Chapter 16

Elijah pulled up to his house and walked through the door. He immediately noticed that the whole team was there. It looked as though they had found nothing. Which he had expected. He wasn't stupid. He would never bring any of his illegal activities home.

"Well if I had known I'd have company I would have had the cook make something."

Tim walked up to him, grabbed him by the shirt and walked him back into the wall. He was about to put this man in the ground.

"Where are Officer Chen and Detective Lopez!" ,he said through gritted teeth.

"I'm not sure what you're talking about Sergeant Bradford."

"Where the hell are they!"

Elijah snapped and an armed security team surrounded them. Tim's grip didn't falter. He was going to murder this man if he didn't tell them where their friends were.

"Sergeant Bradford. If you do not let go of my new suit, I will add Assault to the charges that I am already pressing of Police Harassment."

Tim slowly let go of his suit and walked out the door. He needed air and space away from his target. Nolan and Harper came out as well. Tim had directed them to follow Elijah and if possible get the GPS information out of his car. By the time they had gone back inside, Elijah had already slipped out the back and evaded them once more. He knew that they would follow him and he wasn't done with his Angel yet. He made it back to where he was keeping the two women. It was a safe house of sorts. He would be able to sleep it off and play with his toys before they were found or shipped back to Wesley.

Sometime after Elijah had returned, Lucy woke up. She was dazed and her head was killing her. She looked back to where she had last seen Angela. When she didn't see her, she sat up as well as she could.

"Ang?"

"I'm still here. He just moved me."

Angela didn't want Lucy to think that she would ever leave her here. She had heard the worry in her voice. She assumed that Lucy couldn't see her due to her positioning on the floor. Lucy heard the crack in Angela's voice and it sounded like she had been crying. She was now very concerned. Angela never cried. She tried to wriggle around so the she could try to see her. All she could make out at first glance was that Angela was on a table strapped down.

"Ang are you okay?"

"It's fine.", was the only sad reply.

When she took another look she noticed that Angela's shirt was hanging strangely around her arms. Another glance told her that her shirt had been opened and was laying around her arms. She didn't have time to say anything else before the door opened once more.
