Chris and Street love their relationship, but it's not without its bumps. Regardless, they make it work.

Rocker comes home from work to Deacon. It was his first day back to work after an injury. He's going to fulfill an image he's had in his mind since before he was sidelined.

Someone from Chris's past comes seeking revenge, and she makes it her mission to survive while Street and the rest of 20-Squad make it theirs to save her. The road after they do is just as long. (Stris, canon divergence post 5x9, graphic descriptions of violence, major character injury, PTSD see specific chapter warnings at the top of each chapter.)

Street shouldn't be surprised when 20-Squad starts talking about the annual LAPD summer softball season, but he is. More accurately, he's surprised at how Chris's eyes light up. Or, SWAT has a softball league, Chris played in high school, and Street's enamored. (early on, lots of stris flirting/pining, fun summer fluff, team as family, street learning how to have a family.)

He's on one knee, hands stretched out to her with a box, and he's looking at her like hers is the only face he ever wants to see. (A mini-series of different proposal possibilities, inspired by 7x05.)

"I wanted to take her to the doctor for a week when she first got sick. We didn't go until her fever was 104 and it already turned into pneumonia. Scared me to death." Or, the story of Chris getting pneumonia that Street briefly mentions in "so you know i worry (that you're all i have to lose)" (sickfic, hospitals, possible medical inaccuracies, caretaking, fluffy ending.)

A series of platonic and romantic Stris one-shots detailing the moments after the heaviness. The conversations in the dawn, the tears wiped away over midnight picnics, and how Chris and Street grow through their lives. Tags/warnings at the top of each chapter/chapters note the episode they're inspired by. Rating subject to change.

After almost losing Street, Chris can't deny the reality of her feelings any longer. (Alternate of 5x21, first night together. Gunshot wounds, angst with a happy ending, near-death experiences, confessions of love, medical inaccuracies similar to what we see on the show.)

Chris gets caught up in a bank robbery, and Street's fear of losing her comes out as anger afterward while she struggles with her own feelings. Through the come down, they talk it out like they always do, and end up at a better, sweeter place than where they started. (minor injuries, bank robbery, h/c, post s5, fighting and making up, fluff, happy ending.)

Hondo figures out something that Rocker has been doing, but it's nothing bad at all. It's kind of sweet and has to do with 20 squad's work schedule on a certain day since Hondo and Deacon both have kids. NO Sexual relationships

Deacon's right. Chris leaves SWAT, and Street doesn't know what to do. When she's called back to work with 20-Squad for the day, it gives them the chance for an important conversation about how their lives have changed, and how happy they are with the other. (Romantic fluff, flirting, case fic, post season 5, gun mentions, no warnings!)

Jason has been working at S.W.A.T. for months as a civilian employee. He's had his eyes on Deacon and they have bene flirting some. He's hoping that Deacon will ask him out, but he gets the advice to do it himself. The flirting and things have built up so when he goes to do it, things go better than he hoped.

The one constant from Street's childhood was leaving. The one constant from Chris's was being left. By the third day without seeing or hearing from Chris, Street is ready to crawl out of his own skin. Or: A fight between them brings both their pasts to the surface, but, with some help from Tan, they work through it. (abandonment issues, childhood trauma, happy ending!)

Deacon won the second round in the ring now he gets to collect on the second prize he won. (Tan only there for first few sentences)

[STRIS] Annie is convinced she can help Street find the right person... but good intentions pave many roads.

"Okay," she repeats, if shakier than before. Street intertwines her free hand with his and swallows thick. Blood rushes in their ears that's matched only in intensity by their heartbeats as she flips over the test. Pregnant. OR: the alternate to "to love me so (i got you babe)" in which chris and street decide to be parents.

Chris is running herself into the ground at the safe house. Street reminds her she deserves to slow it down every once in a while.

When Chris gets an unexpected positive pregnancy test, her and Street work through their pasts and their future, together. (Referenced child abuse, referenced sexual assault but nothing graphic, worries over disapproving family. Vulnerable Chris and Street, so much love.)

"It looks like we called you as the emergency contact of James Street." Or, Chris's world stops when she gets a call that Street's hurt when she's out of state. Her family takes care of both of them, so much that a white lie on Helena's part ushers in the next step in their relationship. (Appendicitis, Alonso family, proposal, nothing graphic.)
