In this part, J and N work the plumbing to get it working but were they tricked?

J & N Superstar Saga Chapter 6

King Dedede

J and N found themselves in another detour, they made it to Dreamland Castle only to find Salem made it before them and destroyed the town and was heading to the castle. After the two made it inside, Escargoon the king's right hand dropped them into the castle's sewer area and told them to fix it before they'll be allowed to meet with King Dedede.

Through fixing the sewer system was easy said then done, they had to contend with some enemy creaures, one which was Super Regrets, they were like regular Regrets only grey and twice as strong though not too much of a challenge for the drones.

"Man, didn't think we get altered variants this soon." N said with a smile.

"Well it least wasn't too tough" J said nodding their prior fight made them strong enough to handle it and looks at a leak in the pipe with a peg spouted up by the water. "If we knock that peg in…" J does knock whacking it in with the blunt end of her sword it seals the leak "Thought so."

"So find pegs, knock them in and should fix it, got it!" N said with a nod.

As they search for more in the current area they face another new enemy, this one very familiar to both of them, a hedgehog like creature with purple quill spikes known as Jabhog which J and N used their weapon hands to beat.

"Nice to see a familiar face of an enemy" N said smiling.

"Well make sense Dreamland and Sol Kingdom would share some wildlife" J said with a nod.

J and N continue to the fix the sewer pipe till it was working normally and the door to the next area opens. On the other side, on this side they found some loose pegs but stuck in the pipes so they can't be corrected and that pipe wasn't on.

N sees a valve wheel and said "Hey J, maybe if I turn this, it will get those pegs free."

"Worth a try." J said shrugging.

They turn the valve with Duo Spin and indeed the pressure added sprang the loose pegs with the pipe on allowing them to fix it and open the door to the third area, which was much larger it spread to a side room where they fought off the enemies and fixed the pipes to open the third gate.

"Phew…hopefully this is the last of it" J said wiping her brow.

"Yeah the four of us haven't done plumbing stuff for a while and definatly not like this." Uzi said on the phone nodding.

J and N pass the gate and see a large gate with a pipe with a peg spouted out.

"I got it!" N said and goes and hammers it and it gets the sewer pipe working right.

It opens the exit gate but also the large gate and to the drones surprise out exits Escargoon and a Waddle Dee.

"Ohhh, thank heaven! You've saved me! You heroic souls!" Escargoon said in relief.

"Oh well no problem" J said smiling.

"Happy to help" N said with a thumbs up.

"Say, c-could you be the Drone heroes from the Sol Kingdom?" Escargoon asked looking at them. "What are the two of you doing in a place like this?"

"Errr…you were the one who sent us down here." J said confused.

"Yeah, you asked us to fix the plumbing." N added with a nod.

"What? You claim I am the one who dropped you down here and to fix the plumbing?" Escargoon said surprised.

"Yeah." J and N said with a nod.

"Most perplexing…" Escargoon said thinking "Why, we were attacked by Salem and her fiends and have been stuck here ever since!" He along with J and N think.

"Um…perhaps the 'Escargoon' you encountered was…" The Waddle Dee began to say.

We come to a room in the castle where 'Escargoon' is, also in the room is a red laser cage with what was in a whire and yellow creature bundled up in yellow ribbons and asleep, suddenly the cage sparks and shuts down freeing the creature who remains asleep.

"HAHAHAHA!" 'Escargoon' laughs, his voice becoming feminine as they spoke "Foolish Drone Heroes! You have completely and pathetically fallen into my trap! Repairing the plumbing is the key to disabling the Jirachi security system!"

"Run, run, hurry!" Cyn said as she enters the room and said to 'Escargoon' "Salem! It s time to hurry! We must take Jirachi and escape from his place!"

'Escargoon' transforms back into their real form Salem and laughs "At last…At long, long last…I have in my possession both Jirachi and Blaze's voice!"

We return to the sewer where Escargoon begins to explain to J and N the reason for the attack.

"That Pokemon that can grant all desires …Jirachi…" Escargoon began "We have always remained at this castle, acting as guardians…Protecting Jirachi and keeping it out of evil hands…"

"There's no doubt about it! Salem is after Jirachi!" The Waddle Dee said nodding "Oh no!"

"Ohhhhhhh!" Escargoon said worried "Heroic Drone Heroes! Quickly now! You must go to Jirachi! Go! You must not leat Jirachi fall into the hands of evil! Quickly! Quickly! Don't dawdle!"

"We're on it!" J said nodding

"Let's move!" N said in agreement.

J and N go through the other way, the Waddle Dee coming with them as they head up the stairs.

They soon come out into the room where Jirachi was being kept but the wish granting Pokemon was gone.

"Aww…we're too late!" The Waddle Dee said "Jirachi…"

"AHAHAHAHA!" They heard a familiar voice as Salam comes down in her flying Grimm thrown with Cyn using her jet helmet device to fly alongside her. The Waddle Dee hides in fear.

"Salem! Cyn!" J said glaring getting into a battle stance.

"Where is Jirachi and Blaze's voice?!" N asked also in a battle stance.

"Jirachi and Blaze's voice are already mine!" Salem said smirking.

"Once we awaken Jirachi with Blaze's voice, this world will be Salem's oyster!" Cyn said smiling.

"Not if we have anything to say about it!" J told him.

"Say, Drone heroes, you haven't bothered to pay a visit to your host, King Dedede…" Salam said with a smirk looking to her right "I thought you'd be programmed with better manner! Wouldn't you agree, King Dedede?"

"Graaa-hoo-hoo!" A cray and from the ceiling drops a blue penguin like creature dressed in royal, red finery, with his personal emblem of a peace sign embossed on the back of his robe and red glowing eyes he was also very muscled that it ripped the coat. Needless to say this was King Dedede

"Perhaps you three can sit down over tea to discuss the finer points of foreign policy!" Salam said mockingly and laughs as she and Cyn leave.

"No! She's getting away!" N said worried

"Yeah, but right now we have bigger things to worry about" J said looking at Dedede "Salem did something to him but we can't help him if he goes on a rampage"

"You're right, sorry your majesty, this is for the greater good" N said nodding.

J opens with attacking Dedede's left arm with a jump and slice. Dedede moves forward a bit and then slams both arms into the ground creating a shockwave that the drones jump over. N then attacks the same arm and it deflates.

"He won't be able to use that now!" N said smiling

"Might be temporary so let's take advantage of the opening." J said as she perfroms Splash Duos with N but messes up but still does damage. When she returns and thinks "Hmmmm…"

"What is it J?" N asked her.

"I think I may know how we can make Splash Duos' stronger now. What if we…" J said and explains the process to N.

"Sure that might work" N said with a thumbs up and J nods, now able to do Super Splash Duos.

King Dedede moves closer and uses his only still inflated fist to send a shockwave that hits both drones. N then performs a jump slash on the still musckled arm which J follows suit deflating it and the process of Dedede shaking in rage knocks his hat off. He backs up back to where he was and begins to spit out spiked balls with eyes known as Gordos at J who jumps to avoid them.

"Let's go!" N said as they perform Bounce Duos perfectly on Dedede doing some damage

"Alright then!" J said as they perform Splash Bros but mess up doing decent damage.

Dedede glows as he recovers and his arms become musled again and also his hat returns as he slams the ground for a shock wave, J manages to jump over it but N did get hit by it. J and N then take out Dedede's right arm and avoid his left arm shockwave as he moved closer before doing the same to the other arm, forcing both arms deflated, hat knocked off and Dedede moving back spitting Gordos at J who dodges them.

"Shouldn't be long now!" N said as they do Bounce Duos successfully.

"Please work this time" J said as they do Splash Duos and succeed this time doing major damage.

Dedede roars in a rage as his eyes glow red more and he emits red light as he recovers his arms back to muscled form and his hat returns and sends a shockwave the drones dodge, Luigi attacks the left arm before Dedede moves forward and sends another shockwave that the drones dodge. J then attacks the same arm making it deflate and N attacks the other one.

Dedede moves closer and then moves to N to attack him as he was two slow with his chain saw hand to block and is dealt some damage. J attacks the still musckled arm and makes it deflate knocking his hat off and making him back up.

"Alright, let's try the Super version!" N said as they perform the Super Bounce Duos which as them each move and bounce in a way they hit Dedede twice when successful which it was.

Dedede fires Gordos from his mouth at them which they dodge with ease.

"Alright, now it's my Duos turn" J said as they perform Super Splash Duos which is J spin jumping from N as a platform then in a rapid spin stomps down on Dedede very fast for major damage when done right, which it was hurting Dedede badly.

Dedede roars as he begins to glow and explode before collapsing onto the ground, he drops a badge known as King's Token which J and N claim.

"Phew…that…. was not easy" N pants wipeing his brow.

"Yeah…but least he's unconscious now." J said panting as well as thye look at the unconscious Dedede.

"Oh no sire!" Escargoon said coming over to check on Dedede tears in his eyes "Salem forced King Dedede to eat a piece of a Jamba Heart! That's what turned him into THIS! Our fair kingdom is doomed! Doomed! How will we ever return King Dedede to normal?"

"Hey maybe we can do something to help." J said thinking.

"Wait, you mean the Drone heroes will do something about it?" Escargoon asked

"Yeah, it's the least we can do" N said with a smile

"What can you possibly mean thought? You speak of the impossible!" Escargoon said.

"Seriously?!" J and N said falling over.

"Why, there is no way to spit out an injested Jamba Heart!" Escargoon told the two and thinks "Well except…There is that one way…That last resort…It sure isn't pretty though…He may be able to spit it up if he drank the legendary Kool-Aid Reserve from Koolaidra Woods."

"If that is the only sure fire option to getting Dedede back to normal we'll do it." J said nodding.

"You'll go to Koolaidra Woods?" Escargoon said and the two nod "You'll find the Kool-Aid Reserve?"

"You bet we well" N said smiling

"Well…If you're going to make such bold proclamations, I suppose I have no choice but to rely on you…" Escargoon said shrugging and goes to J and hands him a blue brooch saying "Take this Dreamland Brooch and head southwest from the castle toward Chateau de Koolaidra. If you find the Kool-Aid Reserve hidden deep in Koolaidra Woods, our king yet recover!"

"Right, N, let's go!" J said as she pockets the Brooch goes to leave.

"Coming!" N said following.

The two made it outside the castle and before they could head down to town a voice called out "J! N!" The Waddle Dee runs up to them "Escargoon has asked that you also take this along with you." He gives them a Dream Badge "That thing is a Badge. If you equip it, you'll be stronger in battle. Different badges had different effects, so…For now, if you get a badge, make sure to equip it!" He leaves.

"Right luckly we have enough for one each" J said as she equips the Dream Badge.

"Yeah" N said smiling equipping the King's Token.

The two then set out heading out of town.

Well Salem has got away again, but J and N have to help get Dedede back to normal before the continue the chase.
