Ghost Of The Three Masters
Leo, The Furious Five and the Dragon Warrior was having breakfast in the kitchen. Leo sat across from Tigress, Mantis and Crane as he was sitting next to Viper and Monkey. The Dragon was sitting at the end of the table. Today is another perfect day. As they were almost finished eating, Shifu enters the room.
"Breakfast is over." Shifu said. "It is time for training."
Leo, The Furious Five and the Dragon Warrior stands and follows their master. As they were heading to the Training Hall Stone Courtyard, Leo cracks his neck and back before loosening his shoulders. They reached the courtyard.
"Today," Shifu said, turning around to look at them, "you will be demonstrating your newfound skills with the Tri Bo Yao." Standing in the middle of the courtyard is a dual-headed, three-pronged mace. It was made out of bamboo and metal.
"Leo, you shall go first." Shifu instructed.
"As you wish." Leo bows his head. He walks by him and approach the weapon. Leo took a deep breath and picks up the weapon. He stretches his left arm with the weapon in hand as his right hand was close to his waist.
"Begin." Shifu said.
Leo quickly stabs the air with the staff. He didn't waste time to disassemble the right part of the staff with his right hand spins it around. Leo followed up with a high knee strike and and hits the ground hard with the staff as it was assembled back in.
"Hmph!" Leo grunted jumping backwards. As Leo's back was to them, he made a block to the right and the left, doing a spinning butterfly kick. Leo did a few side spins while spinning the staff. The Tri Bo Yao disassembles as Leo landed. Leo used one end for attack while defending from behind him. He slams the hammer down and spun the staff in front of him.
"Ha!" Leo yelled as he did another butterfly kick as he spun the weapon again. The staff was back together after he landed and proceeded do a sweep kick. He used the force of his spin to put more power into it as the staff was spun behind his neck. Leo stop his spin, dissembling the weapon. The hammers were hanging in the air while Leo held onto the staff.
The training dummies sprung up. Leo dives into a roll and destroys the first dummy with a slam. The weapon became a staff again. Leo charges at a second dummy with a jab of the staff, followed by a palm strike. Shifu, The Dragon Warrior and The Furious Five watches his skills.
Leo bends his back as he spun the weapon behind him, causing the hammers to hit several dummies. He stands back up and kicks the hammer over to a dummy and spun the hammer while he jump in the air destroying several more dummies as he put the hammer down. He didn't waste any time by destroying the rest of the dummies.
Leo destroys the last dummy with both hammers. He did a back flip and landed on his feet, with the staff in front of him. The dummies remained in pieces on the ground. Leo turns around and bows to his master. Shifu nodded his head.
"Tigress, you're next." Shifu said.
Leo and Tigress walks by each other. Leo stands behind Shifu with his arms behind his back. Tigress began to show off her skills with the Tri Bo Yao as everyone watches her. The Dragon Warrior, however, was falling asleep. Tigress was bent down on all three with the weapon in her claw. The training dummies stands back up.
"Ha!" Tigress yelled, tossing the staff into the air and catching with both of her claws. "Ha!" She did a front flip and hits two dummies, followed by a spin and hits every single dummy. "Ha!" she shouted as she got into a pose with her right claw out in front of her with the staff behind her.
Tigress spun the weapon once more and places it on the ground as she turns to face them. She bows to them.
"Po, you're next." Shifu said.
"Zzz." Po snored.
Shifu, The rest of the Five and Leo turns around and sees Po snoring with his eyes closed. Po fell backwards onto the ground and wakes up.
"Huh?" Po asked confused. "Oh, yeah, sorry. I was uh, working on my...uh..."
Shifu stares at Po.
"Right." Po said, standing up. "So, uh, what are we doing?"
Shifu turns around. "You are demonstrating your newfound skills with the Tri Bo Yao today, Po." Shifu answered.
Leo looks at his girlfriend as Tigress stares at the Tri Bo Yao with her claws on her hips. Tigress walks back up the stairs and stands besides him. Po walk up to the staff, smiling at the weapon as he admires it.
"So cool." Po said, picking it up.
"Sounds like you haven't practice." Shifu said.
One part of the staff disassembles and Po looks at them with a nervous look on his face then back at the weapon. "Napping takes practice." Po said, picking up the weapons in his arms.
"Hm." Shifu said. "Proceed."
Po turns to face them as the weapon disassembles again. "But what's the point if I don't practice?" the panda asked.
"Proceed." Shifu said with a stern look.
Po picks it up again but he lost his balance, causing him to spin around and yelling. Shifu lowers his face, bring a hand to his face. Leo just shook his head as he continues to watch the Dragon Warrior skills with the weapon. The Dragon Warrior was hit by three dummies and took out a old goat lady dummy. Shifu looks up to watch.
The Dragon Warrior got hit in the jaw, his right side of the face, his head before spinning it around by the end that wraps his neck to allow the hammer slams into the face.
"That is the point." Shifu said. "Consequences."
"Ahh." Po groans as he sits up.
Shifu sighs before he spoke to him. "Panda, discipline is crucial to Kung Fu Mastery." he said, walking down the stair to the Dragon Warrior. "You haven't practiced the Tri Bo Yao, you haven't studied the meditation scrolls and I'm assuming you haven't rake the peach blossoms?" Shifu stops in front of Po.
"Uh, define "rake"." Po smiled nervously.
"To rake things in a raking motion... with a rake." Shifu said annoyed.
"Oh." Po said. "Then uh, no."
After the rest of the Five was done with the Tri Bo Yao, Leo was asked to put the weapon back into the Hall Of Heroes. He could see Po sweeping up the peach blossoms and heads back to the Training Hall.
Po was the Peach Tree, raking the leaves. "Rules, chores, training..." Po grumbled. "Shifu needs to relax. His disciplining is discipli- annoying! Unlike annoying and-" Po stops talking as he felt the wind picking up a bit of speed. He turns and watches the leaves blown into the win. The peach petals spins him around blindly and falls down onto the ground.
Po sits up as the petals swirling around faster. Then Oogway appears in the form of a ghost.
"Whoa!" Po gasps. "Oogway?" He stands up as he looks at the turtle while gasping. "Is it really you?"
"It is I." Oogway answered. "And I am me."
"But, but, you turned into blossoms and blew away." Po said. He won't forget the night that Shifu said to them about Master Oogway.
"Yes, but I have returned to the Jade Palace because I am needed." Oogway said, walking up to Po.
"That... is... awesome!" Po smiled. "Needed for what? To help Shifu?"
"No." Oogway said. "To help you."
"Me?" Po looks confused. "Why me and why now and where you've been and where'd you go? And what's it like being a ghost? And why can't candy be for dinner?"
The turtle raises his claw to silence the Dragon Warrior. "I shall answer your questions after you prepare for the attack." He replied before disappearing.
"Yeah but-" Po was saying until he heard Oogway attack. "Wait, what attack?" He jumps around to see if there anyone there attacking him. Many peach blossom blew by, forcing him to cover his eyes. As soon Po opens his eyes, he was met by a punch to the face.
"Gah!" Po yelled as he walks backwards to the ledge and stops himself. Po saw five leopard bandits standing across from him and attack him. He jumps forward to dodge all of them and got the rake in the process. The Dragon Warrior twirls the rake in his paws until it was sent flying backwards behind him.
The five leopards attack again.
"AH!" Po gasps. He quickly jumps and did two kicks to two leopards before doing a spin with two more kicks and landed in a stance.
One leopard kicks Po to the side that sent him flying towards the Peach Tree.
"Uh!" Po grunted. Then he sees her flying towards him. "No, no, no!" Po ducks as she misses. He grabs her tail and slams the female leopard into her friends, sending them flying in different directions. She spun around the tree and bounces off Po's back.
The Dragon Warrior rolls forward and landed flat on his back. He shakes his head before standing up. "That was a close one." Po said. He didn't see the leopards coming again. "If you hadn't warn me about them sneaking up on me, they would've beaten me." He looks to his left to see Oogway appearing and stretching his arms. "There you are!" Po exclaims. "Are you doing that cool, spooky, disappear reappear thingy?"
"Yeah, I was trying to." Oogway answers, lowering his arms. "Now listen..."
Leo entered the Training Hall where the Furious Five and Shifu were waiting for him. "I placed the weapon back into its spot, master." Leo said to Shifu, walking up behind Tigress and Monkey.
"Good." Shifu said. "Now, Tigress and Monkey, you two are first."
"Yes Master." the two warriors said, bowing to him. Monkey and Tigress walks by him and jumps onto Seven Swinging Clubs. Underneath them were the spinning logs.
"Ready, Master!" Tigress called down below.
"Begin!" Shifu exclaims.
Tigress and Monkey jumps off the swinging clubs and landed on the spinning logs. Tigress got up and blocks a kick from Monkey.
"Hmph!" Tigress grunted as she threw a kick that was blocked by Monkey's fist. She quickly ducks Monkey's kick and jumps high.
As they were watching the sparing, Leo turns around to the door, hearing the sounds of footsteps running from the doors.
"Shifu!" Po exclaims, opening the doors. Before he can say anything else, Monkey landed on Po as Tigress landed on Leo. Shifu turns around.
"Nice timing as always, Po." Tigress said with sarcasm, rubbing her head. She looks down and sees she was sitting on Leo's back. Tigress got off of boyfriend's back and stands up to offer her claw to pull Leo up.
"Shifu, I met a ghost." Po panted as he was out of breath by running from the Peach Tree. "And he's awesome, and he wants me to help and-"
"Po." Shifu interrupted him. "Slow down."
"Sorry." Po apologies. He took a deep breath before he spoke. "Oogway is back. I met Oogway's ghost!"
"What?!" Shifu gasps.
"Po, that's crazy talk." Monkey said as Po looks at Monkey. "And I should know, I'm fluent."
"True." Mantis agreed.
Leo crosses his arms over his chest.
"It's not crazy!" Po exclaims, as he stands up, took a couple steps and turns around to looks at them. "He's back and he wants to help me!"
"Help you?" Shifu asks him. "Help you with what?"
"Training!" Po answered with a serious smile. "Dragon Warrioring!" He waves his arms chopping the air. "He said I need proper guidance."
"This... this is wonderful news!" Shifu smiled. He is excited that his master was going to help train the Dragon Warrior. The small red panda looks at Po "You must bring us to him immediately!"
"Uh, well..." Po said, taken back. "Uh... I'd love to, but actually, uh..."
"Yes?" Shifu asks him with excitement in his voice. "What? He wants me to come to the Peach Tree?"
"Uh, no!" Po laughs. "He kinda, sorta said..."
Leo can see his master excited about Oogway's return. He shook his head and sighed.
"He only... wants to talk... to... me." Po said with a convincing smile.
"You?" Shifu asks him. His face fell. "But I was... his..." Shifu wasn't sure what to say. He has been here for many years as Oogway's student before becoming a Kung Fu Master and the arrival of Po many years later. Shifu regains his composure. "Yes, well, of course." Shifu stands straight. "Did he say anything else?"
"Uh... no, not really." Po chuckles awkwardly, walking backwards to the door. "I should go, actually. There's no time to waste."
"Oh." Shifu said. "Then, uh, you should go."
Shifu, Leo and The Furious Five watches the Dragon Warrior runs out the door.
"Ah." Tigress sighs. She looks at her master. "Sorry, Master Shifu."
"Nonsense!" Shifu exclaims. "Master Oogway knows best!" He turns around to give them all a glare. "Never forget that, any of you!" The six of them stares at their master. "I, uh, should review my scrolls."
As Shifu walks away, Leo muttered. "He's not the only one who seen a ghost."
"What was that?" Mantis asks Leo, looking at his friend.
"Nothing." he replied, shaking his head. "I'm going to work out." Leo walks over to the training dummies and began to spar. He was thinking why would Oogway return now. Leo knew that speaking to the dead is impossible. Even if Oogway has returned, wouldn't he visit Shifu first? It doesn't make sense and Leo doesn't like this, not one bit.
But that could say the same thing about Master Ben. Leo has been wondering how is Master Ben speaking to him from the dead. As he was sparring, Leo blocks high and low from the training dummy. He didn't notice that the training dummies were being knocked down from his own punches. Leo thought what Master Ben said when he asks him how was Ben here that night when Oogway passed on.
I am here because you are here.
"How?" Leo thought. "No living being can speak to the dead. That's impossible." Leo sighs under his breath. "If I see Master Ben, I must ask him if he really is who he says he is. Because right now, I think..." Leo was growling as he was thinking. If someone was imitating Master Ben, he'll kill them when he finds out.
"Leo?" Tigress asks Leo behind him.
"Yes?" Leo looks over his shoulder.
"What did you muttered under your breath?" Tigress asks him. "I heard you muttering when Shifu walked away and we heard your growling too."
Leo looks over by her and sees the rest of The Five staring at him. He can see they're concerned about him. Leo looks at Tigress. "He's not the only one who seen a ghost." Leo replied. "I did met a ghost."
The Furious Five was surprised. Monkey thought Leo was joking about seeing a ghost.
"So you met Oogway's ghost?" Mantis asks Leo. "When?"
"No Mantis." Leo answered. "I haven't met Oogway's ghost."
"But you just said you met a ghost, Leo." Monkey pointed out.
"I did, but not Oogway's ghost." Leo argued.
"If it wasn't Oogway's ghost, then who did you met?" Viper asks, slithering up to Leo and Tigress.
"Master Ben." Leo answered.
Everyone looks at him surprised about what Leo said. They only heard that name once from Leo when Mantis was giving Po acupuncture after the panda sparred with the rest of the Furious Five and Shifu except Tigress. He told them Master Ben died with Zen by the hands of Zhao. Monkey, Mantis and Crane looks at each other shocked as Tigress and Viper were surprised on their faces. Silence took over the room.
"When did this happen?" Tigress asked, breaking the silence.
"It happened on the night when Oogway passed on." Leo answered. "Do you remember that night?"
"Yeah." Mantis replied.
"You were also afraid of tigers at that time too." Crane added.
"I know." Leo nodded his head. "But I'm not too sure if that is Master Ben I spoke to or if Po is talking to Oogway's ghost. This doesn't feel right."
"Come on, Leo." Tigress said to him. "You heard what Master Shifu said. Oogway knows best."
"Yeah." Monkey added.
"Fine." Leo said, crossing his arms.
"Good." Tigress nodded.
"Come on Leo." Monkey said. "Let's have a sparring match between you and me."
"Fine." Leo replied. "Weapons and switching only for this match."
"Sure." Monkey smiled. "Why not?"
Tigress walks over to the others and sits down on the floor with them in the sidelines.
"You guys up for a bet?" Mantis asks them.
"I'm in." Crane said.
"Me too." Viper added. She looks at Tigress. "What about you Tigress?"
"No thanks." the feline answered.
"So what's the bet?" The Avian asks Mantis.
"I bet five almond cookies that Leo will lose." Mantis replied.
"What do you think, Viper?" Crane asked her. "I'm with Mantis."
"I don't think so, boys." Viper looks at the two masters. "I bet you fifteen almond cookies that Leo will show something new that he knows and we don't. I'll even thrown in twenty yuan each for a new move throughout the entire match to the end for a final attack."
"You're on." Mantis said.
The two warriors stood across from each with one weapon. Monkey was using a sword as Leo was using a bamboo staff. Leo twirls his weapon in his right hand as Monkey pointed his sword at Leo. Then Leo took off his shirt and sets it to the side. He got into his stance, staring at Monkey.
"You sure you want your shirt off, Leo?" Monkey asks him. "Cause I may cut you."
"I'll be fine." Leo said with a serious tone in his voice.
Then the sparring match began. Leo charges at Monkey and jumps over him as he blocks the sword. He was on the offensive, making Monkey to defend himself. Monkey swings the sword to Leo's feet, but he simply jumps and punches Monkey across the face.
Leo did a palm strike that sent him flying into the Jade Tortoise Of Wisdom. Shaking his head, Monkey leaps in the air and does a flying side kick. Leo did a high block and as Monkey landed back on the ground, he smacks Monkey in the face with bamboo staff and did a quick two jab to the chest, making Monkey to hit the ground.
Monkey quickly got back up and jabs Leo in the chest and jumps over him, using his tail to grab Leo's wrist to pull him to the ground. But to Monkey's surprise, Leo got up by throwing in a kick as he uses his bamboo staff to spin to the top and slams Monkey down to the ground.
It was Monkey's turn to attack. Leo kept on blocking the attacks. Monkey saw an opening and kicks him in the shin. Leo rolls sideways and raised the staff for it to collide into Monkey's sword. The two warriors locked their weapons against each other.
Leo and Monkey got out of their locked stance and Leo let the sword come to him. He smack's Monkey's wrist away and hits both of Monkey's legs to spread apart. Monkey caught the staff before it hits him in the crotch. But he wasn't counting that Leo lifts him with enough force to throw behind him and slams Monkey down to the ground.
Leo didn't waste anytime to press his attack swiftly, forcing Monkey to block his attacks. He jumps over Monkey and Monkey attacks back two low attacks. But Leo blocks the attack. The two warriors did a spin to have some space. Leo dives at Monkey and Monkey rolls out of the as he got to see Leo catching a club and landing on the other side.
"Hpmh!" Monkey grunted as he jumps onto the club and landed several feet away from Leo. Then he jumps toward Leo.
Leo spun around and kneel, raising his weapon to block the sword. He quickly got up and jumps backwards with a kick, using that force to hit Monkey's arms to stun him hard. Monkey landed on the floor and Leo spins around to look forward, punching Money in the chest. Leo spins around once more and stabs Monkey in the stomach, causing him to drop the sword.
Leo removes his weapon and ask, "Want to keep going?"
"You got me good... with that... last attack." Monkey wheezed, trying to catch his breath.
Leo nodded in agreement. He picks up the weapons and puts them back on the weapons rack.
"I can't believe Leo won that sparring match." Mantis said as their two friends walks up to them.
"That means you two lost the bet." Viper said.
"Not yet, Viper." Mantis said. He looks at Leo. "Hey Leo, were those new moves you did?"
"Correct." Leo answered as he puts his shirt back on.
"Son of a bitch!" Mantis cursed. "Crane and I just lost the fucking bet!"
"You and Crane are going to pay up, right?" Viper smiled at the two boys.
"Later today." Crane answered.
At the Peach Tree, Po and Grandmaster Oogway bows to one another.
"So uh, should I start with my kicks?" Po wondered, throwing in a kick to the air. "That's what Shifu has me working on."
"Kicks are important." Oogway said. "But they are also unimportant."
The Dragon Warrior looks at him.
"Po don't only train." Oogway said. "The body is like a windmill."
"Right." Po said, walking up to the Grandmaster. "And the wind is the thing with the arms that..." Po was saying as he raised his arms.
Oogway stares at him.
"Yeah." Po chuckled. "I get it, sort of."
"A restful spirit leads to a restful mind." Oogway explains. "And restful mind leads to a restful body."
"So..." Po wondered.
"Take a load off." Oggway said as he begins to walk and Po takes a few steps to the side to let him go by.
Po looks at the trunk before looing back at Oogway and Po sits down, leaning against the trunk with his arms behind him and a smile on his face. "But Shifu says-" Po was saying to him.
"Shifu say." Oogway interrupted the Dragon Warrior. "Shifu doesn't say." He turns around to look at the Dragon Warrior. "Po, share your new wisdom to others. Change is coming." He begins to disappear. "Have a peach." Oogway tosses a peach to the Dragon Warrior and disappear.
Po shrugs his shoulders and began to eat the peach. "You're the boss." Po said.
Later on that night, Po was in the kitchen making food for himself. Shifu walks into the kitchen and notices Po.
"Ah, panda, there you are." Shifu said. "I was going to ask you-"
Po stands up and looks over at Shifu. "Uh I love to." Po interrupted him.
"Good." Shifu said.
"But I can't." Po said.
"What's that?" Shifu asked, opening his eyes.
Po picks up two bowls of noodles and walks to the table. "I'm, uh, supposed to train with Master Oogway again." he said, placing his food on the table.
"Of course." Shifu said, walking over to him. "Perhaps I should accompany."
"Sorry, Master Shifu." Po apologizes to him, sitting down in the chair. Then he raise his bowl and begins eating.
"No need to be sorry." Shifu said. "The wishes of Master Oogway should be respected, even if..."
"Even if what?" Po asked, looking at him.
"I... I just..." Shifu was saying before he sighed. "I just don't understand! Did he say why you?"
"I don't know." Po answered. "You mean why me, like why would someone like Oogway wants to talk to someone like me?"
"Yes." Shifu answered.
This answer made the Dragon Warrior to be taken slightly aback.
"I mean, no!" Shifu quickly changed his answer. "I just... I've been here for many many years and very qualified to..."
"Ha." Po scoffs at him, standing up from his seat. "Oogway said you say that." Po points a finger at him. Shifu watches him walk away. "He also told me if were up to you, I would never be chosen to be the Dragon Warrior." Po turns around to look at him. "He chose me."
"Yes, he did." Shifu said. "Quite right. He knows what's best."
"Also, you would have thrown Leo out on the day when I was picked by Oogway to become the Dragon Warrior." Po added. "And you were going to make him quit after I got my ass kicked all day too. You were going to have Tigress do what she wants with him after what he said to you and you were planning to get rid of Leo out of the Jade Palace with me by making him go through the same thing. And if you succeeded, you and the Furious Five would be glad to be rid of a human. But you failed and I suspect that you still don't want him here." After Po was done talking, he left the kitchen, leaving his master behind.
Shifu said nothing and sighed as his ears dropped. He turns around and walks over to the tea pot to have some tea. Unknown to Shifu, Leo looks down to the floor. He listened to the entire conversation in the hallway. Leo wanted to talk to Shifu about Oogway's ghost, but after he listened in on the conversation, Leo didn't say a word.
He heard his master leaving the kitchen and he quickly hid from Shifu. Leo runs inside the Hall Of Heroes. He fell onto his knees. Leo brought his hands to his head and closed his eyes in anger and frustration.
"Damn you!" Leo punches the floor. "They were trying to get rid of me back then! Damn you!" He turns his head and sees the Tri Bo Yao. Leo grabs the weapon and heads back to the Training Hall. He picks up his diamond sword and squeeze both weapons very tightly in his hands.
"ROAR!" Leo roars furiously. He slashes the air several times with sword in his right hand as he twirls the staff in his left hand. Leo kept attacking the empty air and spun around, using the force of his spin to make the weapon go faster. He jumps into the air with a spin and landed on the floor with a snarl.
"Hmph!" Leo sneers, throwing his weapons down to the floor and jumps high in the air. He doves towards the Wooden Warriors in anger. Leo was throwing some good punches and kicks. But those punches and kicks are hard and powerful, he had to block or avoid them. One of the warriors hit him to the side of the head, making him take several steps backwards and onto one of the spinning logs.
Two clubs swings towards him. He quickly puts his arms and hands up to block them, but he didn't notices the blades until the last second. The blades cuts his arms and grazed his hands.
"Ngh!" Leo grunted as he felt the pain. He jumps into the middle of the wooden warriors strikes back, knocking them half them down to the floor. Leo stayed in the training hall for two hours. Later on that evening, Po and The Furious Five were having dinner.
"Has you seen Leo, Crane?" Tigress asked her.
"I think I saw him heading to the barracks after he took his bath." Crane answers her. "But I don't know if he had dinner."
"Maybe he forgot." Mantis suggested. "Leo stayed in the Training Hall all day today."
"I'll bring him some soup." Tigress said. She picks up a bowl of soup and headed towards the barracks. "Leo, I brought some dinner." she said as she stood outside the door.
There was no answer. Tigress opens the door and notice that Leo, his bed and diamond sword was not in the room. If Leo was not in their room, then where is he? Tigress steps out of her room and checks the two spare rooms. Leo wasn't there either. Tigress walks to the third spare room and opens the door.
She sees her boyfriend sleeping on the bed. Tigress began to wonder why was he sleeping in this room and not their room. "Well, he did train all day in the Training Hall after we left." Tigress thought. "Leo is getting good. I'll bring this bowl back and leave it on the table for him."
The next evening, Shifu was walking in the Hall Of Heroes and looks up to see Po talking to the Furious Five as they were walking towards him too.
"Oogway says you got to calm down." Po was explaining as they were about to walk by Shifu. "Don't worry about -" Po looks at Shifu and said "Hey Shifu." The Furious Five followed The Dragon Warrior. "Don't worry about being lazy."
The next morning, Po ate all of his dumplings and the Furious Five followed his example. As for Leo, he didn't join them for breakfast because he was in the training hall. Leo didn't want to join their "training" from Po as the Dragon Warrior was doing training from Grandmaster Oogway. He steps outside of the training hall to have some lunch. Leo was walking up the steps as he saw Shifu approaching the Hall Of Heroes.
"Master Shifu." Leo said, walking besides him.
"Oh, Leo." Shifu said, turning his head to look at Leo. "I thought you were in weapons training with Po and The Five."
"No, I'm not." Leo replied. "I had an early breakfast and was training in the Training Hall, Master. Are you going to check up them too?"
"I am." Shifu answered. "I wanted to see how their weapons training is going."
As Leo and Shifu enters the hall, they see the Dragon Warrior and the Furious Five were lounging near the moon pool. Po was sitting on a red rolled up carpet and Crane was standing next to him. Viper was laying in front of the Dragon Warrior while Monkey and Mantis were laying on their backs. Leo has walks over to Tigress who was laying down on her stomach with a bowl of dumplings in front of her face.
"Po." Shifu said, surprised at the sight he saw. "This doesn't looks like weapons training."
"It's not." Po said. "Oogway said I owe it to everyone to share my wisdom." He picks up a dumpling and throws it to his face, but the dumpling landed on Mantis.
"Oof!" Mantis grunted. "Thanks."
"Wisdom?" Shifu asked dumbfounded. He sees a giant brawny banner of Po flexing his muscles. "And what's that?"
"Oogways says it gives me a better aura." Po replied.
Shifu raised an eyebrow in disbelief.
"I'm not sure what that is, but I know I want a good one." the Dragon Warrior said with a smile. He picks up a dumpling and tosses it into his mouth.
Tigress begins to suck up a dumpling from her bowl. Leo caught the dumpling with his hand before it can enter her mouth. She lifts up her head, looking at him.
"Tigress, what are you doing?" Leo asks her, kneeling down next to her.
""Oogway knows best"." Tigress answered. "That's what Master Shifu said." She sucks the dumpling from Leo's hand and swallowed it before sucking up another one from the bowl.
"I know." Leo said as he stands up. "But all of you can't be laying around right now."
"I agree, Leo." Shifu said before he looks up at Po. "Po, the Five needs training and combat, not aimless lounging. Do you understand your master?"
"I understand Oogway." Po said angrily to Shifu. He stands up and points a finger at him. "Your master."
"I wouldn't expect you to know Oogway's cryptic wisdom." Shifu said to Po.
Tigress and Monkey got up from behind Shifu and walks away. Viper slithers to them with Crane and Mantis. Leo, however, didn't walk away as he turns around and stands beside Shifu. Leo felt a tug on his arm and sees Viper looking at him as she pointed her tail to the rest of the Five. Leo didn't say a word to her and looks back the Dragon Warrior.
"Try me." Po said defiantly.
"The road to the mountaintop does not travel downhill." Shifu said.
"Yes, but one cannot fall from the mountaintop with one's feet and backside on the ground of the forest ground." Po said.
"The path of the lazy man leads to the amble stomach." Shifu replied.
"The true seer needs not walk to find followers behind him following the the leader of the followers that they find!" Po yelled.
"Snakes of rodents need not far from-" Shifu stutters for a moment. "A stitch in time saves nine... lives!"
The Furious Five exchanged glances to one another.
"Ini Minnie, no!" Po argued, trying to come up with something else. "Hickory dickery dot, gah!" The Dragon Warrior couldn't come up with an answer again and shouts at Shifu. "Shifu is too uptight to accept that Oogway doesn't need him!"
"And Po is-" Shifu was trying to say, but he stops when Po said those words. "Po is a-" Shifu was trying to say again. The Dragon Warrior stares at Shifu defiantly. "I... hm..." Shifu sighs, turning around. "I... I will be in the village." He said, turning around and walking away. "Uh, we're low on supplies."
Po bends up with his arms crossed as he watches Shifu leaves the hall.
"You're not just The Big fat ass panda." Leo growls, taking a couple steps to get in Po's face. "You're just A big fat ass panda, damnit."
Po turns his head to look at him.
"What you hear may be false; what you see is true." Leo growls coldly at the Dragon Warrior, giving Po a fierce glare in his eyes.
Po took a step back. "Leo-" he was saying as he fell backwards on the rug and got back up.
"Let me ask you something." Leo interrupted him. He didn't take his eyes off of him. "Do you really think this "wisdom" of yours will help you, the Furious Five and me? I don't think so." Leo took another step forward, making Po to take a step backward near the moon pool. "Having you share this "wisdom" of yours is not training!" Leo raises his voice at him. "This "wisdom" of yours is just lounging around and being lazy!"
Po didn't say anything.
"You know I'm right, Po!" Leo shouted. "Because ever since Oogway showed up, you shared your wisdom for the Five to follow you! If something happens, there will be consequences and this will be your fault all the way through!"
Po lost his balance and was about to fall into the water but Leo grabs him by the shoulders.
"And by the way," Leo snarls at him. "There are always ears on the other side of the wall." He let's go of Po and walks away. Leo stops as he felt a paw grabbing his arm. He pulls his arms back and left the hall, closing the doors behind him without looking back.
Oogway was looking down from the Peach Tree. "The seeds of discontent has been sown." Oogway said. He turns around. "Excellent." he chuckled. In a burst of green light, Oogway's form morphs into its trupe form; Junjie.
"This is turning better than I could ever imagined." Junjies smiles evilly. He laughs with glee.
Shifu was walking through the village. "Uptight?" Shifu asked, talking to himself. "Me, uptight?" Shifu scoffs. "That's ridiculous."
A pig walks up to him, causing Shifu to stop. "Hey Shifu, I-"
"What?!" Shifu snapped at him.
The pig villager runs away. Shifu sighs and shakes his head. A boy rabbit walks up to him. "Master Shifu." he said.
"Yes, how may I be of service?" Shifu asks the child.
"I have a problem with my meditation." the child answered.
"Ah." Shifu smiles. "Meditation requires-"
"Do you think you can get me in to see Po?" the child interrupted him.
Shifu's face fell.
Shifu ran up the stone steps to the peach tree. He begins to look around for his master. "Master Oogway!" Shifu exclaims. "I am overjoyed of your return. If I in someway upset you..." Shifu picks up a blossom petal and feebly holds it to his ear. "Are you there?" There was no answer and he drops the petal. "Master, is my time at the Jade Palace over?"
A gentle wind blows the petals in the air. Shifu looks up at the tree with hope. "Master?" Shifu asked. He turns around continuing to look for his master. But the wind dies down. No answer and Oogway is nowhere to be seen. A single petal lands in front of his feet and Shifu picks it up. "Master." Shifu said in a sad low voice. His hope was crushed.
Shifu remembers he became Oogway's student. He trained under Oogway for many years when he was a cub. He left the Peach Tree and walks inside his room and packs up his stuff in a suitcase. He looks at a painting on the wall. It was a painting of him and Oogway. Shifu didn't say anything as he picks up his suitcase and exits his room.
As he leaves the Hall Of Heroes, Shifu sees Leo walking up to him.
"Shifu, why do you have a suitcase?" Leo asks him. "Are you going somewhere?"
"I'm leaving the Jade Palace." Shifu answers him.
"But why?" Leo asks him.
"Since Oogway has returned and is helping Po with his training." Shifu replied sadly. "My master knows best. Goodbye, Leo."
Leo watches him walk away. He didn't say goodbye to him and started walking back to the barracks. But Leo found himself walking in the center of the room and stops as he notices the gate. Leo looks up to see the White Tail Tigress looking down at him.
"What hell do you want?" Leo growls at her.
"I'm just enjoying the show." Kaira answered. She gave out low chuckle. "But I was also beginning to think to tell the Dragon Warrior off since Po and your master's relationship has been thrown in turmoil by the return of Oogway."
"That's Po." Leo said, crossing his arms. "Trouble begins with him and ends with him."
"At least he's honest, unlike you." Kaira snarls. "You never told them about me except for your two masters, who is a ghost."
"Well there's a good god damn reason for that." Leo replied. "There is no way in hell that I'll ever tell them."
"Are you sure?" Kaira smirks at him. "What you did-"
"SHUT UP!" Leo bellowed.
The White Tail Tigress chuckled.
"I will not tell the Dragon Warrior, my master, the rest of the Furious five and my girlfriend about any of this." Leo said looking down at the floor. "This is one secret I will never let them see."
"But can feel the rage in you and can't hold it." Kaira replied. "I am trapped but you can't control me."
Leo notices her teeth. Her teeth are razor sharp. She can do serious damage with those teeth. Leo and Kaira looks at each other in the eyes. With her looking in his eyes through open doors, Leo felt she was following him to his core; wanting his soul and his heart.
"If I find a way out of here, I will tear you up and break you down." Kaira snarls at him.
Leo threatens her with a growl. He found himself standing on the path that led to the barracks. Leo turns around and headed toward the Hall Of Heroes. He steps inside Shifu's room. Inside Shifu's room was a bed and several paintings. There was a picture of the Furious Five next to the painting of Oogway and Shifu.
On the other wall was a picture of Tigress and the painting of Po and Shifu. But next to the painting was himself. He remember taking a picture, at the request of Shifu, the day after Tigress and himself started dating. Leo walks up to the painting and runs his fingers against the edge of the painting. Leo gives a small smile to the painting when he heard Tigress and Monkey running in the hall. He quickly hid to the other side of the room and laid down on the floor so they wouldn't notice him.
Monkey and Tigress runs to Po who was sitting in the moon pool eating a bowl of dumplings.
"Po." Tigress said, skidding to a halt. "Shifu's gone."
"What?" Po gasps in shocked, looking at them. "You mean gone? Like "goney" gone gone gone?"
"Yes." Monkey answered. "He left the Jade Palace. What should we do?"
"You're asking me?" Po chuckled for a moment and stops. He take the bowl off his belly and sets it down on the floor. "I mean you are-" Po was saying, pointing a finger as he got out. "But wait. He's gone gone gone gone gone" gone?"
"Yes." Tigress and Monkey said annoyed and angrily together.
"No!" Po exlaims, stepping out of the moon pool. "Uh what should we do?" He began to walk back and forth. "Uh, yeah, what should we do? What should we do? Let me, let me, let me talk to Oogway!"
Po was the Peach Tree with Oogway.
"Relax." Oogway said to the Dragon Warrior. "Shifu has left for a reason. I told you change was coming. It is your time Po."
"My time?" Po repeated.
"Yes." Oogway smiled. "To lead. "To be responsible for running the Jade Palace."
"I-" Po was saying. He was unsure if he's ready to run the Palace.
"Do not worry." Oogway said, looking at Po. "I will stay with you and tell you everything you need to do. You can start by moving into Shifu's room."
"Really?" Po asks him.
"Po, take your rightful place as leader." Oogway smiled.
Po sighs. "Yes, Master Oogway." Po bows to him and walks away.
Junjie transforms back into his normal form. "What an idiot." Junjie said. "With Shifu gone and me pulling the strings, my little puppet, Po, I'll finally rule the Jade Palace." Junjie chuckles evilly.
Po enters Shifu's room with his things in a box. He looks around the room at the paintings of Shifu and Oogway, the Five, Tigress, him and Shifu and Leo. He stares at his and Shifu's portrait, particularly Shifu. The panda sighs and sets his thing down on the floor and looks back the portrait.
"Am I really gonna..." Po mutters to himself. "Shifu..." He pauses for a moment. As Po turns around, he notices Leo standing in the doorway with his hands behind his back.
"I see you're about to move into Shifu's room." Leo said angrily. "Let me guess, Master Oogway told you."
"Ye-yeah." Po said nervously. "But I don't think I'm right."
"Since you don't think that you're right, Po," Leo said, "There will be consequences at the end of this." He turns around and leaves the Hall Of Heroes. Leo thought it was best to visit Oogway at the Peach Tree since Po encountered Oogway's ghost at the Peach Tree Of Heavenly Wisdom. Po is the the only one who talked to Oogway. Whatever happens, Leo knew it was time to see and visit "Oogway's Ghost".
Junjie notices Po leaving the Jade Palace. "What's this?" Junjie wondered, putting his paws behind him. He turns around. "I got rid of Shifu and the panda?" He chuckled. "Too good. Time to make my move. Hm?" Junjie heard footsteps and quickly morphs into Oogway.
Leo walks up the stone steps to the Peach Tree. When he arrived at the Peach Tree, Leo notices Oogway standing close to the edge with his shell to him. Oogway turns around and smiled.
"Master Leo." Oogway greeted him. "Your arrival is an unexpected visit." He notices the glare Leo gave him. "Is something wrong?"
"Yes." Leo glares at Oogway. "It's about your so called "training". All it ever did was to just make Po lazy and throwing Po's and Shifu's relationship in turmoil. Not to mention having the Five following Po."
"But Leo, change is coming." Oogway said.
"That change is your return." Leo crosses his arms. "Luckliy, I didn't follow Po's wisdom. But there's one thing I do know."
"And what's that?"
"That you're not Oogway." Leo growls at him.
Oogway smirks at him and morphs into Junjie. "What gave me away?" Junjie asked him.
"Oogway had never said "awesome", Junjie." Leo said. "And Oogway never called me "Master" before I arrived. You won't get away with this." Before Leo attacked, Junjie's five student surrounded him quickly. The first leopard did a palm strike to his stomach hard and quickly so Leo couldn't attack.
"Gr!" Leo grunted as he he took knee. He dove to the first leopard and did a spinning hook punch to the leopard's face. Leo engages the second leopard and was about to deliver a axe kick to him, but it was blocked by the third leopard. As soon as Leo lands on the ground, the fourth leopard punches him across the face and the fifth leopard did a spinning kick to across his face that sent his body spinning into the peach tree.
"Argh!" Leo grunted as he fell down to the ground and didn't get up.
"Tie him up." Junjie ordered. "We don't him ruining the surprised now."
It was already nighttime. Po was running in the bamboo forest, calling out his master.
"Shifu!" Po called. "Shifu! Shifu! Shifu!" There was no answer. He's been searching about two hours. "Shi-" Po calls out again, but he stops, hearing a flute playing. Po turns to the left and followed the sound of the flute. Around the corner was a small house and Shifu was sitting on seven rocks. "Shifu!" Po smiles. He runs to Shifu with happiness, but Shifu stops playing and stops the panda.
"Po." Shifu said. "So nice to see you."
"Really? I... Really?"
"Yes." Shifu said, turning to face him. "I realized how right you were. I was too uptight and I'm happy now. I am but a humble musician, who enjoys his leisure time, free from responsibility."
"Uh, Shifu, I-"
"I even written a song and it has one note." Shifu interrupted him. He plays a note for a seconds. Po stares at him as Shifu played the note for a few seconds again.
"Uh, yeah, nice song." Po complimented. He turns around and sighed. "But I don't I am right." Po turns around spreading his arms. "As in I know I'm not. I was wrong to doubt to you. I was excited to do what I want all the time."
"And you got what you wanted." Shifu said with his eyes closed.
The Dragon Warrior was at a loss for words.
The Furious Five were standing near the moon pool. Monkey was sitting next to Crane as Viper and Mantis was them while Tigress was standing across from Tigress.
"If Shifu's gone, does that make Po our master?" Monkey wondered.
"He is the one the Oogway chose to lead us." Tigress said. "It means we listen to him."
"It also means we don't have to get up at dawn anymore." Monkey said.
"I wished Leo joined us with Po." Viper said. "He hasn't joined us for meals. Leo has been training by himself in the Training Hall for the past two days and he's sleeping in a separate room." Viper looks at Tigress. "Have you and Leo gotten into an argument?"
"No." Tigress answered. "I'm concerned about him ever since Po met Oogway's Ghost."
"I am too."
"So when do we get to see Oogway?" Mantis wondered.
Tigress heard the doors opening and she turns around to see Oogway standing in the doorway.
"Sooner than you think." Oogway answered.
Tigress gasps. "Oogway." she bows to him with the rest of the Furious Five.
"So glad to see you all together." Oogway said. "It will make things so much easier."
Junjie's students were hiding behind their doors, waiting to attack.
"Shifu, I didn't mean for you to leave." Po said. "Even though Oogway said I'm awesome and I'm not sure-"
"Oogway said "Awesome"?" Shifu interrupted him.
"Uh, yeah." Po answered unsure.
Shifu plays another note. "Ah." he smiled. "I've written another song."
"Look." Po said. "Oogway says he'll tell me what to do, but I can't lead! It's too much! I need you help!" Po smiles nervously as Shifu looks at the Dragon Warrior. "Master." Po bows down to him.
The red panda stands up and faces him. "Good luck with that." Shifu said. He smacks Po on the head with his flute before turning around and hopping off the rocks. "It's time for my nap." Shifu said, walking away before he stops. "Ah, another thing I learn from you."
"What?" Po gasps in confusion as he watches him walk towards the house. "What? Shifu!"
Shifu reaches the door and glances over his shoulder. "I'm sure it will work out." he replied. "You chose this path, Po. And I have chose mine."
Po runs to the door, but the door slams into his face. "Shifu?" he called to him, knocking on the door. "Shifu!" Po pounds the door. There was an open window and he crawls to it. "Shifu."
SHifu didn't answer and closed the windows.
"Gah!" Po groans. He stands up and turns around. "What's going? What is this?!"
Shifu opens the door. "It's called "consequences." Shifu answered before closing the door. Shifu continues to play the flute.
Po looks back at the door and walks away sadly.
It was a long walk for him from the bamboo forest all the way to the Jade Palace. He enters the Hall Of Heroes. Po continues walking with his head down.
"Po!" a muffled voice called. He looks up and touches Tigress nose. Po sees that the Furious Five has been tied up and is hanging upside down.
"Over here!" Tigress muffled.
"Guy!" Po exclaims. He removed the ropes from Tigress's face.
"Po, it's-" Tigress tried to warn him.
"Leave them alone!" Oogway ordered.
Po turns around and sees Oogway standing at the end of the hall. "Oogway?" Po asked confused.
"No, you fool!" Oogway smiles evilly. He pounds the floor with his staff to cause the doors to close. "Not Oogway!" Oogway waves his arms a couple of times as he was covered in a green jade glow. The glow disappeared and Junjie appeared.
"Junjie!" Junjie announced himself. "New and rightful ruler of the Jade Palace."
"Junjie!" Po shouted angrily. "Shifu is master here!"
"Was." Junjie corrected him. "But, it seems, you drove him away." He snaps his fingers and his leopard students appeared and landed several feet away from the panda.
Po gulps.
"Destroy that fool!" Junjie ordered.
The five leopards got into their stances.
"I've beat these guys before." Po smirks. "And I can do it again." Po got into his fighting stance.
The leopards charges at him. The first leopard delivered a kick to the stomach and the face, forcing him to walk backwards. Po blocks a punch and another kick as he was quickly surrounded.
"You can do this, Po!" Tigress called.
"Don't give up!" Monkey yelled.
Po didn't have time to respond as he was kick in the stomach, the jaw and the face again. Po lands on the floor with his back.
"You can't do this, Po!" Tigress called.
"Give up!" Monkey yelled.
Po shook his head before looking at his friends. "Thanks for the vote of confidence guys!" he exclaims with sarcasm. As Po stands up, the leopards attacks him again. Po was sent flying into the wall and hits the floor. The Tri Bo Yao fell and hits his head a couple times.
"I may not have Shifu's help, but I got something that you guys don't got." Po said, picking up the weapon as he stands up to walk a couple steps forward. "The Tri Bo Yao."
Junjie and his leopards stands back.
"A masterpiece of bamboo, steel and iron!" Po exclaims as he swung the weapon around. "A furious fighting implement now in the hands of the Dragon Warrior! Behold his-" Po lost control of the swing as the steel hammer hits his crotch hard. "My consequences." Po said in a high pitch voice before he fell backwards.
Junjie blinks in shock. "Get him now!" Junjie ordered.
Po got up and he was swept off his feet and lands on his stomach. He was getting kicked in the jaw quickly and was sent sliding into Junjie's foot.
"Gh!" Po grunted, feeling his nose getting stepped on. "You don't deserve to rule in the Jade Palace, Junjie."
"It's you who can't rule, panda!" Junjie snaps at him.
"Yeah, no kidding!" Po shouted. "But I'm not a disgrace to the name of Oogway!"
"Luckily, he's not here to see this." Junjie smiles evilly.
But the doors bursts open with peach blossoms in the air. The leopards stand ready, seeing Oogway standing in the doorway.
"But I am here." Oogway said.
"Oogway!" Po gasps.
Junjie was sursprised seeing Master Oogway. His leopards got into position to attack his master, but he pushes by them. "Let him through!" Junjie ordered as he stood in front of Oogway. "You idiots!" He looks back at Oogway. "Most sincere and regretful apologies, master."
"Junjie." Oogway said.
"This is such an honor." Junjie replied. "Your magnificence, I am here to restore order to the Jade Palace."
"You have shown passion for you goal, Junjie." Oogway said.
Junjie smiles.
"And so, I present you with this!" Oogway shouted. He attacks Junjie with a punch and another punch. The turtle did a jump-spin kick and a backwards kick that sent the fox flying across the hall as Junjie skids on the floor.
He looks up and sees Oogway spinning towards him with his shell. As Oogway came close to him, he quickly kicks Junjie in the chest and sweeps him off his feet with his staff. He presses his staff against Junjie's throat.
"But Oogway!" Junjie tried to explain. "I should be here! Shifu deserted his post! He, he... he refuses even to defend this place!"
Oogway smiles and transforms into Shifu.
"Wrong." Shifu smiled.
"Shifu!" Junjie gasps.
"Shifu!" Po gasps in surprised. "How did you-"
"Junjie and I studied together, Po." Shifu interrupted him as he looks over at Po. "We know a lot of the same tricks."
"Interesting." a voice said.
Everyone turned their attention to the doorway and sees Leo with his arms crossed.
"What?!" Junjie growled.
"You didn't really think that rope was going to stop me, did you, Junjie?" Leo smirks at him. "It's a good thing I woke up and broke free that held my hands."
"You mean like this?!" Junjie smiles evilly. He kicks Shifu away and attacks. Po picks up a sword and free the Five. Mantis lands on his legs as his friends hits the floor.
Shifu did a flying side kick that Junjie easily dodges to the side. He tries to punch Shifu, but Shifu caught his punch and kicks him across. The Furious Five had no problem fighting against Junjie's leopards. As Shifu and Junjie was fighting, Po tries to help and was about to hit Shifu.
Leo dove in between and took a punch to the face as he hits Shifu.
"Sorry!" Po apologizes.
"Ha!" Junjie shouted, throwing the Urn of Whispering Warriors to Po.
Po caught the urn. "Ha ha!" Po laughs.
Junjie took the opportunity to do a flying side kick to Po's stomach. The urn was thrown and crashed onto the floor. Junjie's leopards took out several rings blades. They began to charge at Crane, Viper, Mantis and Crane.
"Ha!" Tigress shouted, showing her skills with the Tri Bo Yao. Her friends got out of the way as she charges at them. She manages to knock them out.
Po notices that Shifu is losing his battle to Junjie. "Tigress!" Po shouted.
Tigress runs by the knocked out leopards and tosses the weapon. As the Tri Bo Yao was tossed, the weapon was tossed into Leo's hand. "Hurry, Leo!" Tigress called to him. Leo looks at her and growls angrily. He charges at her and jumps. Tigress prepares to block him.
Smack!
Tigress looks over her shoulder and sees Leo attacked the first leopard who was about to attack behind her. Leo pushes the first leopard away and engages the other leopards. He quickly did a low block to a sweep kick and a palm strike to the second leopard. Leo quickly blocks a kick that made his feet skids across the floor. The five leopards quickly surrounded him.
"Leo!" Tigress shouted. She turns around and was about to help him but he shook his head, causing her to stop.
Leo looks around, seeing they have him surrounded. Then two leopards attacked. He quickly spun around and stun them at the jaw. Leo spread the first leopard's legs and hit him in the crotch to send him flying in the air. He jumps up and did a hurricane backflip kick to send the first leopard flying across the room.
He landed behind the second leopard and presses the weapon against the second leopard's throat. Leo threw him in front of him and did a palm strike across the room. The other three leopards attacked him. He charges at the remaining three and hits the other two leopards. He slams the stomach and swings the third leopard into the air and landed on his comrades.
He quickly turns around and did a powerful knee strike to the fourth leopard's stomach. Leo spun low before he swept him off his feet and slams the hammer down to the stomach.
"Ngh!" the fourth leopard grunted.
Leo grabs him by the throat and slams him against the floor two times before grabbing the tail and threw him with the other leopards. The female leopard yells in fury as the two engages each other in close combat. She threw in two jabs with her paw and ring blade, but Leo caught both of her wrist and used the Tri Bo Yao to trap her wrists. Leo did a jump knee strike to her jaw and stabs in the stomach that sent her flying to the remaining leopards.
Finally, Junjie delivered a few hard kicks and sweeps Shifu off his feet, knocking him down to the floor and slamming his foot on the red panda's throat.
"I'm your master now!" Junjie smirks, his foot down harder on Shifu's throat.
Leo jumps over Po and grabs Junjie by the neck with the Tri Bo Yao and slams him into a nearby pillar.
"Why you!" Junjie snarls at Leo, lunging at him.
Leo did a roundhouse kick to the Junjie's face and elbows him in the back to the floor. As Junjie got up, Leo did an axe kick to his head, stunning Junjie. He growls as he extends the weapon. Leo did a backspin slam to Junjie's chest, making him fly high above him. As Leo watches him fall, he did a spinning lunge attack, thrusting the two hammers forward.
"Gah!" Junjie grunted as he was hit and landed on his students.
Leo places the staff on the floor and cross his arms over his chest.
Po looks at Shifu as the small red panda stands up and walks to his side. "I should've listen to you, Shifu." Po said to him. "I thought I was following Oogway."
"I understand, Po." Shifu said. "I miss him more than anyone."
"But how did you know it wasn't the real Oogway?" Po asks him.
"Oogway would do many mysterious things, Po." Shifu answered, with his hands behind his back. "But I'm sure Oogway would never say "awesome"."
As Po and Shifu were talking, Leo steps out of the hall without saying a word. He was glad that Po and Shifu's relationship is back to normal now. Leo walks to the Sacred Peach Tree Of Heavenly Wisdom. When he arrived at the Peach Tree, Master Ben was there with his back facing Leo, looking down at the Jade Palace. The master turns around and smiled.
"Hello there, Leo." Ben greeted him.
Leo stops when he saw Master Ben. Thinking this might be a trick, he took a deep breath and spoke. "Master Ben, there is something on my mind that I've grown concerned of." Leo spoke to him.
"What is on your mind, Leo?"
"Ever since Po thought he met the real ghost of Oogway, Po's so called "Wisdom" only made him to be lazy, having the Five to follow him and the realationship between Po and Shifu has been thrown in turmoil by Junjie. I've began to think if you are the real Master Ben or someone who transformed into Ben." Leo answered. "There is no way that a living person can speak to the dead. It's impossible."
"I see." Ben said, walking up to him. "You want to know if I am real or fake."
"Yes." Leo replied. "If I need to know you're real and not a fake, then I must ask you a question. A question that only the real Master Ben that knows the answer to."
Master Ben nodded. "Then you may ask away, Leo." Ben said. "Whenever you feel like it."
"Who rescued me before I was killed and what happened in that country when she..."
"Ah." Master Ben said. "I see. Master Xeno rescued you before that tiger can killed you. And as for that other part of the question, I will whisper it into your ear."
"Do no leave anything out." Leo said.
Master Ben began to whisper the answer in his ear. Leo's eyes widen a bit. His breathing became slow and heavy. He closed his eyes as he listened to the answer. Leo lowered his head as his master was finish whispering in his ear and fell on his knees and hands. He took a breath. "It is you, Master." Leo replied. He lifts his head. "Forgive me, Master. I did not know if you were real."
"It's alright, Leo." Master Ben said. "You were wise enough to ask me that question and I know the answer to it."
Back at the Hall Of Heroes, Tigress was bringing back the Tri Bo Yao to hang it on the wall. As the weapon was set on the wall, she looks down at her paw and notice it was a stain. A blood stain.
"Blood?" Tigress wondered. "Those leopards didn't land a cut on me. Where did it come from?" The feline looks at the weapon and noticed some blood on the Tri Bo Yao. "The blood came from the Tri Bo Yao? Did the others, except for Po, used it?" Tigress turns around. "Viper." Tigress called to her.
Viper slithers over to her. "What is it, Tigress?" the green snake asks her.
"Did you use the Tri Bo Yao, Viper?" Tigress asked her.
"No I haven't." Viper answered. "Why?"
"I found a blood stain on my paw and on the Tri Bo Yao." Tigress replied.
"We were listening to Po for the past two days." Viper said, looking at the blood stain on the Tri Bo Yao. "And Leo-"
"What about Leo?" Shifu asks behind Viper.
Viper turns her head to look at him. "Leo didn't join the rest of us when we were listening to Po. He also slept in a separate room for two nights."
Shifu's ears perks up at that comment. He stares a Tigress. Shifu took a deep breath before he spoke. "Did you and Leo-"
"No Shifu." Tigress said, shaking her head. "We did not."
"Ok." Shifu said. He notices the blood on her paw. "Tigress, is that blood on your paw?"
"Yes, Shifu." Tigress answered. "But it's not my blood. I found the blood on Tri Bo Yao."
"Hm." Shifu said, looking closely at the weapon. "It's Leo's blood."
"Leo's blood?" Viper looks at him.
"But Shifu, Leo wasn't cut during the fight." Tigress said.
"That is true." Viper replied. "I think Leo must've cut himself in the Training Hall."
"Speaking of Leo, where is he?" Tigress asked. She notice he was not in the hall with them. Then Tigress notice Po standing outside of the hall. "Po, what are you looking at?" she asks, walking up to him.
The panda looks over his shoulder. "Looking at Leo and someone else at the Peach Tree." Po answered.
Tigress looks at the Peach Tree and sees Leo talking to someone. "Is that... another human talking to Leo?" Tigress wondered.
"I think so." Po squints his eyes. "Hey, Leo just fell onto his hands and knees!"
Tigress gasps and runs to Leo.
Leo looks up at his master.
"You still blame yourself after what happened?" Ben asks Leo.
"I do." Leo slowly nodded his head.
"But you know why she did it." Ben said.
Leo slowly stands up.
"She did it so you can live." Ben said to him.
Leo said nothing. He hear some footsteps behind him and turns around to see Tigress, Viper, Po and Shifu.
"Hello there." Ben smiled.
The four masters stares him.
"Leo, who is this?" Tigress asks Leo.
"This is Master Ben." Leo answered stepping aside.
Shifu notices his three students were surprised and shocked to hear that and looks back at Leo. "Leo, are you sure?" Shifu asks Leo.
"I am sure he is real." Leo replied. "I already asked him a question that only he knows the answer to."
"I see." Shifu said and he looks at Ben. "It is an honor to meet you, Master Ben."
"And it is an honor to meet you." Ben smiled.
"We'll give you two a moment alone." Shifu bowed his head before walking away with Po, Viper and Tigress.
After they left, it was just Leo and Ben.
"I must admit, I was surprised that you didn't join your friends in their training since two days ago." Ben said.
"I chose not to join them after what I heard from the conversation that Po and Shifu had." Leo growled, walking by his master to the edge.
"Hm?" Ben looks at him. "What happened?"
Leo explains what he heard last night.
"I see." Ben said. "Have you talked to Shifu and Po about this?"
"I haven't." Leo said angrily. "They don't have a clue that I know about it. And I don't know if they trust me or this whole relationship with Tigress is complete fucking bullshit! And if Shifu thought he could get rid of me with Po, yeah fucking right!" He looks over his shoulder. "The training I had was pure hell! They can never imagine what I went through."
"I don't believe Shifu is still trying to get rid of you from the Jade Palace, Leo." Ben said.
"What do you mean?" Leo asked.
"I mean the reason why Po said that because an imposter gave him the idea." Ben replied.
"You're saying that Junjie was trying to get rid of me too, destroying my relationship with them?" Leo asked, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Yes." Ben answered. "But he failed in the end when you chose not to listen."
"Because lounging around and being lazy is not the kind of training I do." Leo said. "I'd rather train my ass that I can't even move a single muscle or a single breath."
"I know how you love to train." Ben smiled. "But it's not a bad thing to relax too. You should relax but I know you're not the type of person to relax."
"The last time I let myself to be relaxed was when Master Chao and Junjie were inspecting me." Leo said.
"But you were relaxed when Master Zen was alive too." Ben smiled. "I still remember he was inspecting you when you first arrived."
"I know Lee still misses him more than anyone." Leo said.
At the top of the roofs of the Jade Palace, an old man was looking at the two of them. He was wearing a orange Buddhist Jiasha. He had black eyes and he was bald. "And I miss you all too, Leo." the old man said. Then he transcended into the heavens.
