The Hall Of Fame
It has been weeks since Tigress gave Leo some space. Po and the rest of the Five were surprise to hear that from Tigress. His master, Shifu, agreed abut Leo's decision. Shifu had mention Po and Leo about the Warrior Ceremony that will be coming up. During those weeks, Leo did his training with Viper and Monkey and he went on solo missions to deliver supplies to several different villages. For every mission Leo went on, he was accompanied by Shifu, the Dragon Warrior or one of the Five.
Leo made sure not to forget about the Warrior Ceremony. There wasn't any good weapons or artifacts when he went to those villages. On the day of the Warrior Ceremony, Leo was doing his stretches in the Training Hall.
"Leo." Shifu said, walking up to Leo.
"Hello Master." Leo greeted him.
"I wanted to know if you picked out your trophy." Shifu said.
"I haven't picked one out, Master." Leo replied. "The missions I went on kept me busy for weeks, including my training. I don't expect to receive one every time I go on a mission."
"Hm." Shifu scratches his beard. "Do you posses anything else, besides your sword and iPhone?"
"No." Leo answered. "If I did, I would've let you know first."
"I see. We're all looking forward to the trophy you'll donate to the Jade Palace." Shifu said before he left.
Leo turns around and picks up his diamond sword and looks at it. Having a human weapon donated to the Jade Palace would be amazing for the first time, but however, the diamond sword is not for Leo to give and that includes the Eye Of The Tiger. And since the weapon is in his possession, Leo had become the guardian and master of the diamond sword. And as his Iphone, it was given to him by a close friend.
He left the Training Hall and heads to the Hall Of Heroes. There were different weapons and artifacts that was donated to the Jade Palace. Leo examined them in their place without removing them from their spot. As he was looking at the Whooping Sun Diamond Blade, Leo notice the Urn Of Whispering Warriors were broken.
"Po must've been here." Leo said. "He should really watch where he walks into."
After looking at the weapons, Leo left the Jade Palace and heads over to the bamboo forest. He hops onto a boulder and crossed his legs. Leo began to think for a few minutes until a voice interrupted him.
"Hi Leo."
Leo opens his eyes and sees Panther. "Hello Panther. What brings you here?"
"The Warrior Ceremony." She replied. "I heard that you were donating a trophy to the Jade Palace, so I thought I'd come and visit. Have you picked out a trophy?"
"No." Leo answered. "Not yet."
"Oh, I thought you picked one out by now."
"I haven't got time because I was going on missions and doing training."
Before Panther can say anything else, they heard an explosion.
"What the hell was that?" Panther asked, turning around.
"Nothing good." Leo answered as he stands up. "Let's go."
The two warriors ran into an open clearing. Nala, Zhi, Qiao and Du were laying on the ground knocked out. Zeus struggled to stand up, glaring at the person. The person was a liger. The liger was wearing black pants, wielding a sword with wings and a cobra for an arm. The blade was red. The cobra lunges at Zeus and was about bite him, but Leo jumps in between the two and pushes the cobra away with two jabs.
"Leo!" Zeus gasps.
"We'll talk later." Leo looks over his shoulder before looking back the creature. "Panther and I will take care of this."
"You're not going to take care of anything!" the liger yelled. "Now you fall by me, Libra!"
The three warriors took a fighting stance and charges at each other. Leo was fighting Libra as Panther dodges bite from the cobra. Leo was able to block a kick from Libra and punches the liger in the chest.
"Oh no you don't!" Panther yelled, grabbing the cobra's head and did a chop to the head.
That gave Leo to roll on Libra's back to get behind him to kick him in the legs to kneel and Panther did a spinning palm strike that set Libra flying.
"Oof!" Libra grunted, hitting the ground.
"Had enough?" Leo growled.
"You'll pay for this later, now that I have the sword." Libra snarls at him, standing back up. He spreads his wings and flew off.
The warriors did nothing as he flew off. Leo and Panther turns around and rushes over to the others.
"You guys ok?" Leo asks them.
"Yeah." Du replied.
"What are you guys doing out here?" Leo asked.
"We were on our way to the Valley Of Peace to see the Warrior Ceremony." Nala explains. "Until we got attacked by that monster."
"So what the hell was that thing?" Du asks Leo and Panther. "We never seen something like this before."
"Or fought someone that has a cobra for an arm." Zeus replied.
"Hm." Leo said, crossing his arms. "Panther and I fought monsters like this back in our world before."
"Is it possible that Dr. Zeo is behind this?" Panther asked.
"Who's Dr. Zeo?" Zhi asked.
"Dr. Zeo Weasley is the Site Project Director for SHIELD." Leo explains. "He was also responsible for creation and eventual L."
"You think Zeo sent that monster?" Zeus asked.
"No." Leo replied. "That's impossible because Zeo is under legal protection and SHIELD has been destroyed."
"You think someone else is behind this?"
"Maybe..." Leo muttered. "But I'm not sure. Also, why was it interested in that sword?"
"I don't know and I don't like it." Zeus answered.
"Then let's find Libra and destroy him." Nala said.
They all ran off in the direction Libra flew off. Everyone ran to an open field clearing. Libra was standing several feet in front of them with the sword and his back was turned.
"Hey ugly!" Panther shouted.
Libra turns around. "You guys again!" he snarled. "This time I'll-" But Libra didn't get the chance to say another word as he was hit, allowing a smoke cloud to cover.
The sword Libra was carrying landed in front of Leo. Before anyone can do anything, a giant shadowy figure quickly tackled everyone, knocking them all out before picking up Leo and the sword and fleeing.
Leo opens his eyes. He was in a dark cave. Leo sat up and saw the afternoon light from the mouth of the cave. Getting on his feet, Leo heads to the entrance and shields his eyes. It was the late afternoon. Leo quickly ran into an open area after crossing the bridge. As he was walking, Leo saw Panther near the side of the pillar.
"Leo, get out of the way!" Panther shouted.
Leo quickly dove towards her as he heard a powerful roar. A boulder was thrown from the ravine, destroying the bridge.
"Come on, we have to get out here." Panther said to him.
Leo nodded and the two of them ran to the other bridge, but the other bridge was destroyed as well.
"Shit!" Panther cursed as they stopped. "We're stuck. This isn't good."
Leo ran to the center and put his guard up. He slowly scanned the area, looking for the source of the roar. Then Leo heard the roar from the bridge they tried to cross. He ran back and got into a fighting stance as the figure jumps from the ravine. But when Leo looked at the figure, he gasps shock and in horror. The figure was a huge monstrous white and black stripe tiger with red eyes.
"Saber?!" Leo gasps in shocked. The memory of his first encounter with this huge tiger when he was a teenager came rushing back.
"GROAR!" Saber roared.
Leo tried to keep his guard up, but he was going into a state of shock.
"Leo!" Panther yelled, rushing to his side. She grabs his arm. "Focus, Leo! You must focus!"
"It can't be...!" Leo begins breathing violently.
"Leo! Leo!" Panther shakes his arm.
But all of a sudden, Leo heard a powerful voice in his head yelling.
"Once you make a decision, there will always be consequences! Do not hesitate to get your hands extremely dirty, even if you have to go all out! There will always be secrets for you to keep from others! Secrets that will hurt others and vice versa! Move forward, no matter what happens to you or others around you!"
Leo collapsed down on his knees. Saber slams a paw down on him, forcing Panther to let go and dodge. He was struggling to get up as the two of them looks at each other in the eye. Saber picks him up her jaws, forcing him to yell in pain.
"Argh!" Leo cries out in pain.
"Leo!" Panther yelled. Saber turns around and was about to flee. "Drop him now!" She quickly dives toward the tiger with the sword in her hand. Panthers slashes the back and stabs the tail.
"Groar!" the tigress shouted in pain, throwing Leo across from them.
"Ngh!" Leo grunted, rolling onto the ground and coming to a stop.
Saber turns and lunges at Panther with her claws, but Panther dodges to the side. She quickly blocks the claws withe the sword and bent backwards to dodge a slash. As Panther bent forward to stand up, Saber tries to bite Panther. She was forced to throw the sword away and catch the bite with her bare hands.
"Nagh!" Panther grunted in pain. "Leo!"
Leo slowly lifted his head to see Saber trying crush Panther with her jaw.
"Leo!" Panther yelled, feeling her blood running down from her hands.
"PANTHER!" Leo bellowed. He quickly snaps out of his state of shock and got on all fours and jumps onto Saber's head with the sword and giving her a good palm strike to the eye a couple times.
Saber roars in pain, letting go of Panther. Leo jumps off from her head and landed next Panther.
"Are you okay?" Leo asks her, glaring at Saber.
"Don't worry about me." Panther replied. She glared at Saber. "Ready?"
"Like you even have to ask." Leo growled, getting into his tiger stance as she got into her dragon stance.
Saber snarls at them and attacked. Panther jumps over the lunge as Leo grabs the monster's teeth. Panther brought her fists together into the monster's back, allowing Leo to break free and did a headbutt to stun her a little bit. But Leo wasn't fast enough to dodge a slash across the chest and down to his stomach.
"Ngh!" Leo grunted in pain. He responds back by delivering a punch to the face and a high knee strike to the throat.
Panther did a sweep axe kick to the tail. Saber turns around and lunges at Panther. Panther jumps backwards to dodge the paws. She blocks the paw with her right hand and deliver a spinning back punch to the side of the head. Leo jumps onto the monster's back and stabs her several times.
"Groar!" Saber roars in pain as she stood on her hind legs. Leo rolls off her back and landed on the ground. She turns around and bites down on him. Saber began to slam him into the ground several times. Panther came in with a flying side kick, but was knocked several feet away after Saber slams her in the head. Saber proceeded to drag him fast on the ground before slamming onto the ground.
"Gah...!" Leo moaned.
Panther did a body slam, making Saber to attack her. Leo shook his head. He took his shirt off and filled it with a few rocks. Leo took a big jump to the monster and slam the shirt against her head. That only made her mad and he quickly jumps off of her and stabs her tail with the sword and the shirt.
"Roar!" Saber roars in anger and in pain.
Panther ran to his side as Saber was trying to remove the sword and the rocks off her tail. "Damnit!" Panther cursed. "She's fucking tough. Do you got a plan?"
There was no time for an answer as Saber got free and slashes Panther across the face. The attack sent her flying onto another ledge. Leo ran to the edge and saw his friend on the ground, not moving.
"Roar!" the monster roared in triumph.
"No..." Leo moaned a little as he hung his head a bit. He fell on all fours. "No!" Leo roared, lifting his head high. The air surrounding him was beginning to go hot. The hot air bean swirling around him like a hurricane. Then the hot air became a fiery tornado.
"Gr!" Saber growled, watching her prey.
Nala offered her hand to Zeus to join her after they climb the mountain.
"Thank you." Zeus thanked her.
"There's Leo!" Du yelled.
Nala turns around and saw Leo.
"What's with the fiery tornado?" Du wondered.
"I'm not sure." Nala replied.
"Come on then." Du said, looking at her. "Let's go help him."
"Wait, look!" Qiao pointed.
Leo looks at his friends who was watching before looking over his shoulder at Saber with anger in his eyes. He slowly turns around and didn't even bother to stand up. His entire body was covered in a fiery red aura. "Gr." Leo snarls softly.
Then both Leo and Saber charges at one another. Saber attempts to scratch him, but Leo caught her paw and punches her side of the head. She growled and caught him in her jaws. But instead, Leo did a reverse punch elbow strike within the mouth before slamming the hilt against her throat. He brought his right fist to his side and punches Saber in the mouth.
Saber flew a couple feet across the ground and received a powerful body slam from Leo as if he was shot by a cannon. Both warriors landed near the entrance of the cave. He didn't waste anytime by jumping high in the air did a powerful spinning axe kick to her head.
"Grah!" Saber yelled, receiving the kick. The monster fell sideways unconscious.
Leo lets out a low growl after his enemy is defeated. As he turns around and was about to head back, Saber regained conscious and tried to attack Leo. He spun around and did a double palm strike in between her eyes that sent her into the wall and did a flying side kick to her side. The impact was enough to cause a cave in. He took a giant leap to the other side and watches the entrance close before his eyes.
He heard a footstep and quickly turns around to see Panther standing behind him.
"What the hell?" Panther thought, bracing the hurricane. "Where is he getting all this power from?" She shook her head. "I need him to calm down."
Panther took a breath before she spoke. "It's over, Leo." Panther told him.
The fiery hurricane disappeared as Leo stares at her. "I thought you were..."
"Dead? No." Panther replied. "I was unconscious."
"I see." Leo said.
"Where's Saber?"
"Trapped in that cave." Leo said, looking at the blocked entrance over his shoulder.
Leo's POV (Point Of View)
Seeing Panther still alive was good to me. I know I'm not the type of guy who shows emotions like everyone else. Not like those monsters I faced at SHIELD. Seeing Saber alive again shocked me. It brought back painful memories. I remember her chasing me and a friend through the hall after we got separated. There wasn't anything we can do because the whole ship was about to explode and I was still afraid of tigers at that time. Luckily, we escaped and SHIELD ship was destroyed along with Saber and the other bioweapons. Until now.
How the hell did that monster survived? And how many others survived too? I couldn't think as I took a knee down. I shook my head a bit, hoping that would work. I let out a low growl and fell on my side.
"Leo!" Panther gasps as she rush to my side.
"Damn..." I moaned a bit. There was blood all over me. That last attack made me took a lot of energy to do.
Normal POV (Point Of View)
Leo slowly got up on all fours.
"I got you, Leo." Panther said, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. She notices a small path that led to the others. It took her more than fifteen minutes because Leo almost fell a couple times. They reached the others and left the hill. Panther places Leo near a tree.
Nala removed his ripped shirt and began to wipe the blood with a hot wet towel.
"Ngh." Leo winces.
"Are you okay?" Qiao asked Leo and Panther.
"Yeah." Panther said after Zeus bandage her right arm.
"We've been through worse." Leo replied.
"That's good." Zhi smiled.
"So what was that thing?" Zeus asked Leo.
"That thing we fought was Saber." Leo answered.
"Saber?" Zhi repeated. "It has a name and you encountered it before?"
"Several times, unfortunately." Leo replied.
"When was the last time you saw Saber?"
"The two of us and several people saw her at SHIELD before the ship exploded." Leo explains. "And I don't think Dr. Zeo knows that his projects survived the explosion."
"Let's talk about this later." Nala said. "And get to the Valley Of Peace."
Leo notices it was evening. "It's already late right now. I bet people are beginning to leave."
"If we hurry now, then there may be a chance." Qiao suggested.
"Will you be alright in this condition, Leo?" Du asked Leo.
"I'll be fine." Leo assured him.
"I bet I can beat you guys at the Jade Palace." Panther smirks playfully at her friends.
"Is that a challenge?" Leo gives his playful smirk.
Panther smiled, backing up a little before quickly turning around and making a run for it. Leo picked up the sword and ran after them.
Po, Shifu, The Five and the villagers were waiting for Leo to come back. Po can see Tigress was wondering where Leo is. The Dragon Warrior already presented his trophy ten minutes ago. As they waited, Viper saw several figures racing into the village.
"Hey, I think Leo's here!" she announced to get their attention.
"And it looks like he brought friends too." Monkey added.
Everyone watched Leo and friends raced to the Jade Palace. Leo and Panther were neck and neck with each other, and they were almost at the top. Both of them dove forward and landed on the ground. Shifu walks up to Leo and Panther.
"Looks like... you won..." Panther panted.
"Not bad..." Leo said, trying to catch his breath.
The others made it to the top panting. Shifu allowed them to catch their breath before he spoke. "Leo, all of us were wondering when you were going to show soon. And what happened to your clothes?"
"My apologizes, Master Shifu." Leo said, standing up. "I ran into some friends. We had a rough fight. Nothing we can't handle."
"It's good to see you all again." Panther smiled, bowing to the masters.
"It's good to see you too, Panther, Zeus and Du." Shifu smiled. He walks up to Nala, Qiao and Zhi. "Leo mentioned about you three. It is an honor to meet you and thanking for helping Leo."
"It was an honor to help him." Nala bowed.
Shifu turns to look at Leo. "You're next, Leo." Shifu said to him before he rejoined the others to the side.
Leo places the sword on the stand and turns around to look at the crowd. "Here is my trophy to donate to the Jade Palace." Leo announced. He steps aside, revealing the sword. Everyone began clapping. "This the trophy that I want to be remembered by."
"You picked a interesting sword." Shifu said, walking up to him. "You and Po did good."
"Thank you Master." Leo thanked him.
"Since the Warrior Ceremony is over, are you going to leave?" Crane asked Du.
"I don't think so." Du answered. "It's getting late so we'll find a place for the night."
"We can have some of you sleep in the student barracks and Po's old room at the noodle shop." Shifu said. "I'll make the sleeping arrangements."
"Thank you, Master Shifu." Du thanked him.
After the Warrior Ceremony was over, the Dragon Warrior suggested to give a tour for Panther and the others. Shifu wasn't against the idea because Panther helped them to save China and Leo had help from Nala, Zhi and Qiao. Mantis, Crane and Monkey went with them to answer their questions. Viper and Tigress were bringing the trophies to the Hall Of Heroes and Shifu was meditating in his room. Po asked Leo if he wanted to come, but Leo politely said no to the offer. He heads to the Peach Tree.
As Leo was standing overlooking the valley below, he was standing in front of Kaira.
"I have to admit that was fun taking that thing down." Kaira smiled darkly.
"I barely controlled myself." Leo growled. "And I think you had something to do with it."
"Maybe." she replied. "Or maybe not."
Then Leo found himself standing back at the Peach Tree. "Ok." Leo snarled. "How the fuck do I keep appearing before her?" As he thought about it, Leo felt a hand on his shoulder. Turning around he saw Panther and Viper.
"Hey Leo, dinner's ready." Panther said. "What's wrong?"
"It's nothing." Leo said. He's walk by the two girls, growling under his breath.
Viper heard Panther sighed as they followed him. They all headed down to Mr. Ping's restaurant since they were a big group. The masters were setting up the tables as Du, Zhi and Nala were helping Po and his father to bring the soups out. As everyone got their soup, Leo sat down at an empty table near the entrance. Panther, Tigress and Monkey sat with him. Throughout dinner, Leo said nothing as he listened to Po's conversation. He only took two or five bites of his soup.
Leo sets his chopsticks down and stood up.
"Leo, are you alright?" Monkey asked him.
"I'm not hungry." Leo answered. He left the restaurant and heads back to the Jade Palace.
"What's wrong with him?" Mantis wondered.
"I'll go talk to him." Panther said.
"I'll come with you." Nala said.
The two girls got up and left the restaurant. They caught up to Leo at the bottom of the steps.
"Leo, are sure you're okay?" Panther asked him. "Because I saw you barely ate of your soup."
Leo sighed and turns around to look at them. "Seeing you out cold like that made me lose control."
"But you managed to trapped Saber in that cave." Nala pointed out.
"That may be but Saber always find a way to come back." Leo replied. "And I think we'll cross paths with that clone too."
"Clone?" Nala repeated. "What's a clone?"
"Clone is the identical copy of the original user." Panther explains. "For example, you're looking at yourself in the mirror. Remove the mirror but seeing yourself a couple feet in front of you like Leo, that is what a clone looks like."
"I see." Nala said. "Then how did you know it was clone?"
"It came from an empty shell." Leo explains. "The clone must've escaped the explosion. Now that she's here, there's no telling what will happen."
"Qiao's ninja clan would want to know about this." Nala said. "And your connection with Kaira."
"Kaira?" Panther repeated.
"The White Tailed Tiger." Leo simply answered.
"What?" Panther gasped.
"I'll explain later." Leo said.
"If we come any news or information about Saber, we'll contact you." Nala said.
"Thank you." Leo thanked her.
After Leo and Panther made it to his room, he explains his encounter about Kaira to Panther. She was shocked and angry about it. But Panther was even more angry that Leo didn't say word about this to Shifu and the others.
"Why didn't you say something about this?" Panther snarled.
"They don't need to know about her, Panther." Leo growled. "I've been going through the scrolls to see if they hold the answer."
"I highly doubt that." Panther said.
"Look, when the time comes, I'll tell them about this."
"I hope so, Leo." Panther replied. "I hope so."
The two warriors laid down in their beds. Nala and Zhi was sleeping in Viper's room as Du slept in Mantis's room. Zeus left the restaurant after dinner to take care of the remains of Libra. Both warriors knew that the time to tell about Kaira inside Leo's body will be coming in the future.
Not bad for this chapter. It was working on this chapter. And I can't believe I'm almost done with season one. The next chapter is going to be really interesting. I hope you enjoyed this chapter and don't forget to leave a review!
