Never Cried Once
After dealing with the magic shoes from last night, Leo, Po and the Furious Five did their daily training in the Training Hall as Shifu oversees them. Leo had a couple bandages on his feet from last night with the magic shoes when he used his sword. He wasn't wearing any shoes in training for today. While in training, Leo and Po sparred in the courtyard. He quickly blocked the panda's punch and jumps behind a couple feet to avoid Po's belly.
The raven-haired human dove in with a punch and the Dragon Warrior grabs Leo's wrist and sent the punch to the ground. Leo quickly kicks off from the ground to get onto the panda's back and did a elbow strike to make the Dragon Warrior to let go of Leo's wrist. Leo swept the panda's feet with a kick and finished it with a chop to the back. With his guard down, Tigress came in and a did palm strike to his face that sent Leo into a tree, face first. Shifu nodded his head.
"That was a good spar, you three." Shifu said, walking up to Po and Tigress as Leo got up and turned around. "We will continue training tomorrow." His students bowed to him.
Leo rubbed his cheek a bit where Tigress did her palm strike before walking up to her. "Good palm strike, Tigress." Leo said.
"Thank you, Leo." Tigress thanked him. "You were good too."
"That's because I have good teachers here." Leo said.
"When Tigress hits you in the face and you hit the tree, you didn't cry." Crane said, looking at the pawprint on Leo's cheek.
"It's not that bad." Leo said, rubbing his cheek a bit. "I'm not letting a single tear escape from that palm strike."
"In time you won't feel anything, Leo, like me." Tigress said.
"It's severely cool." Po smiled. "Even Leo's Iron Crotch Technique as well. How did you learn that?"
"You don't want to know." Leo said. "You really don't want to know."
"Oh." Po said. "I understand."
"Thank you." Leo said. "If you excuse me." He bowed to them and left the courtyard.
Po and Tigress watches him leave as the others walk up to them.
"And there he goes, off to the library as always." Mantis said, hopping onto Po's shoulder.
"Leo should hang out with us after training, not just go to the library." Monkey said. "Or meditation at one of his usual spots and the Ironwood Trees."
"He's been doing that since we returned from Gongmen City." Crane replied.
"Hm." Po said, placing a paw on his chin. "Leo does have some good friends that we met. Not to mention when something happens like that big crow appeared last week."
"I wonder if Leo is alright." Tigress wondered, looking at Viper. "He hadn't said anything about it."
"I thought Leo would be happy after that little, short reunion with Crow." Monkey said. "I know some people would cry after seeing their loved one in years."
"Well he didn't shed tears after seeing Panther and Crow." Viper said.
"Do you think Leo cry like everyone?" Monkey asked.
"None of us has seen Leo shed a tear before." Tigress replied. "The only person who would know that would be Panther."
"You should ask her when we see her again." Viper suggested.
"It would be nice if we know more about Leo's past." Tigress replied.
The Dragon Warrior and the rest of the Five knew she's right. It would be better to hear more about Leo's past, but he doesn't talk much about his past. They only know a little bit of his past on what he told them. Leo doesn't know if his parents survived from Sying. Leo and Sying fought against each other in a big ring of fire and they couldn't do anything but wait and watch since they were hurt and injured. But Tigress saw fear in Panther's eyes before Panther dove into the water underneath the fire. After those mysterious roars caused the fire to disappear, Leo and Panther were floating towards the dock.
There wasn't any fear in those eyes of Panther as it was replaced by hope when they reached the dock. As the masters were leaving the docks, Tigress saw her boyfriend looking down at his burned marks and his head was hung low. Panther stands in front of Leo and hugs him. She whispered something in his ear that caused him to raise his head a bit. Tigress grew concerned and wanted to talk to them, but Shifu walked up to Leo to look at his injuries.
"Not to mention he remembered what happened to him when he was a baby." Viper said.
"But how many days was he in that basket?" Mantis asked.
"Two or four days, I guess." Monkey suggested.
"The important thing is that Leo murdered the man after what happened." Po said. "I still can't believe that Leo killed Sying and deflected all those cannonballs."
"I know." Mantis said. "His arms and legs were caught on fire, and he made no effort to scream."
"But there is something I'm still concerned about." Tigress said. "Leo doesn't have any scars from that battle and the rest of his body didn't caught fire."
"I know." Po said. "He received several cuts and a stab. We're still surprised he can move after all that in Gongmen City."
"Leo may be a human, but he's tough as hell." Mantis said.
"Do you guys think he cry like a normal person?" Monkey asked. "He thought he lost a friend who became the Dragon Soldier."
"I'm not sure, Monkey." Viper answered. "Leo has been living here with us for the past few months and no one has seen or heard him cry before."
"Hm." Po said, folding his arms over his chest. "I remember Viper, my dad and myself found Leo at the Dragon Grotto laying on ground on the night of the Autmn Festival. He said "Damn you, Ka" before he passed out."
"Ka?"
"I'm guessing he knows this person from his world." Po said.
"Hm." Tigress said, turning her head towards the direction where Leo left the stone courtyard.
Meanwhile, Leo left the library with no success and heads back to the Student Barracks. He growls in frustration as he sat down on the bed. "Damnit." Leo cursed. "There must be something that I missed. The answer must be there in those scrolls and it is hidden very well." He laid down in the bed thinking. "If I can't find the answer to this, then I must prepare for the worst in the future." Leo got off the bed and took out the scroll that Tigress, Mantis and Viper found. He unrolled the scroll onto the floor and sits down with the diamond sword by his side.
Taking a look at the diamond sword, Leo can see he's covered in blood from the blade's reflection. He closed his eyes as he can hear the shadow of himself chuckling darky and the voices of the past screaming in fear and terror. Leo opens his eyes, and everything was silent. Leo spent an hour writing in the scroll. He knew this is something that he must take care of on his own. Leo hopes that Tigress and the other never find out.
I think this idea of the chapter is excellent. This chapter turned out pretty good, even if it was short. I hope you all enjoyed this chapter and don't forget to leave a review!
