I don't own Disney's The Owl House. I do, however own the OC known as Danielle Hopkins. Hope you all enjoy my story on this lovely show.

Chapter Twenty-Six

It has been a few days since the petrification. Danielle was pretty much resting those days, though most of her hair was now silvery white and her irises mostly a light purplish pink. Even certain markings on her body stayed. Luz and everyone else was floored when Danielle explained about Belos and the lore surrounding the Brothers Wittebane. Though today was the planned mind dive after Danielle had talked to Eda.

"Alright then, I'll be going into Danielle's mind," said Eda, looking at everyone. "And apparently Aster will as well since that one voice wants to talk with them."

"I really wanted to go," said Luz, leaning back into the couch.

"There's a reason there's a limit to how many can enter," said Eda, looking at Luz than Aster. "You ready Stars?"

"Yup," replied Aster, looking at Eda.

"Well, here we go," said Eda, conjuring up the spell before Amity, Willow, and Gus barreled into the house, accidently pushing Lilith, Luz and King along with them and into the spell. "Uh-oh."

"I'm gonna have a headache, aren't I," said Danielle, as everyone went inside her mind before seeing Edric and Emira at the door. "Edric. Emira. What are you two doing here?"

"Thought we'd keep you company while they pick your brain," replied Emira, walking in.

"And maybe have a little game," said Edric, holding a chess board. "How 'bout it?"

"Where'd you find that?" asked Hooty, staring at Edric.

"It was in the shack," replied Edric, looking at Hooty.

"Of all the places, it was in there," said Danielle, looking at Hooty than Edric. "Well then, let's play."

As that was going on, everyone else had landed within Danielle's mind. They were flabbergasted at what they saw. Certain trees were transparent.

"Whoa," said Aster, looking around. "It's like there are more memories than there should be."

"What are you three doing here?" asked Eda, staring at Amity, Willow and Gus.

"Sorry but we really want to know what these Voices are as well," said Amity, looking at Eda.

"And maybe see some memories," said Gus, looking around.

"Well, first memory acquired," said Luz, hopping into a nearby memory.

"Luz," said Eda, following after Luz. "What I just land in?"

"Oh my," said Luz, as she was locked in place. "We're on a roller coaster."

"Roller coaster?" said Eda, paling a little bit.

"Yeeees!" said a Six year old Danielle, climbing into the roller coaster. "My first big girl ride."

"Danielle, slow down," said Jacob, grabbing hold of his daughter.

"Think Nessie actually exists?" asked Six year old Danielle, as Jacob situated her properly in the coaster's chair.

"This one does," said Jacob, before climbing in himself.

"Alright, light this candle," said Six year old Danielle, as Jacob ruffled her hair.

"Danielle, sweetie, calm down," said Aria, sitting behind her daughter.

"This is a ride?" said Aster, as the roller coaster started up. "Kinda boring."

"Give it a bit," said Luz, gripping the restraints.

"I think we made a mistake on this…" said Eda, as the roller coaster really picked up.

"Whoa!" said Aster and King, as the roller coaster did its thing. "So cool!"

"Whooo-hoooo!" said Luz, enjoying the ride.

"Get me off this thing!" shouted Lilith, as the roller coaster went into a tunnel. "Why'd it get so dark?"

"Danielle is really enjoying this," said Amity, smiling as she heard Six year old Danielle screaming and laughing.

"Aaw!" said Aster and King, as the ride came to an end.

"Well, that was fun," said Luz, climbing out of the roller coaster. "Eda? Lilith?"

"… …" said Eda and Lilith, leaning against the wall on wobbly legs.

"What?" said Luz, with a mischievous grin. "Can't handle a human roller coaster?"

"Stop that," said Eda, looking at Luz.

"Let's find another one," said Aster, only for Eda to grab him.

"No no no-no-no," said Eda, leaving the memory on wobbly legs. "Okay, no more memories with that."

"How 'bout this one?" asked King, running over to a different memory.

"Is this Danielle's house?" asked Willow, looking around.

"Danielle, got the cookies?" asked Grampa, placing two large glasses of milk down.

"Yes Grampa," said a Two year old Danielle, running over with a pack of oreos.

"This must be her grandparents place," said Luz, looking around. "Must be spending the night."

"Now then, there are two ways to eating these," said Grampa, grabbing and twisting an oreo in half. "Separate and lick the cream off."

"Hehe," said Two year old Danielle, mimicking her grampa. "Yum."

"The other way is…" said Grampa, before feeling his wife behind him. "Elle… Eleanora."

"Don't Elle me," said Gramma, staring at her husband. "Didn't your doctor say to watch your sugars?"

"Bah! I've done this with all my grandbabies," said Grampa, waving it off. "I'll just have two."

"Six me," said Danielle, grabbing the amount.

"Too much," said Grampa, placing at least three back. "Now then, dip it in milk for a few seconds, then eat."

"Yow, his accent is thick," said Eda, staring at the scene. "He doesn't seem as bad yet."

"So is her gramma," said Lilith, before seeing Luz leave the memory.

"Alright, let's see what I can find," said Luz, climbing into a certain memory. "Wait… I know this street… Gravesfield."

"Dad, will we be going to where Uncle Ken lived to trick or treat still?" asked a Ten year old Danielle, holding a pillow case while walking down the street with her dad.

"No, sweetie," replied Jacob, holding his daughter's hand.

"Halloween," said Luz, following after the two.

"Hmmm," said Ten year old Danielle, hearing a mother and daughter nearby.

"Luz, mija," said Camila, holding a Ten year old Luz's shoulder. "We can't trick or treat this year, please understand."

"Come on, let's leave them be," said Jacob, trying to pass the house, only for Danielle to pull away. "Danielle, sweetie."

"Knock knock," said Ten year old Danielle, lightly knocking on the steps railing.

"…" said Ten year old Luz, gasping before turning around. "Trick or…"

"Treat for you," said Ten year old Danielle, holding out a king size candy bar.

"No way," said Luz, staring at the scene. "Danielle and I met that day?"

"¡Gracias!" said Ten year old Luz, smiling while holding the candy bar.

"Danielle, sweetie," said Jacob, running over. "I'm so sorry, ma'am."

"No, that's quite alright," said Camila, looking at Jacob.

"What are you suppose to be?" asked Danielle, looking at Luz.

"I'm a good witch," replied Ten year old Luz, looking at Danielle. "What about you?"

"Me?" said Danielle, pointing at herself then twirling. "I'm a guardian of the stars, with powers burning bright. I am a princess of the stars, Sailor Star!"

"I remember this," said Luz, watching the scene. "I very much remember this."

"Princess?" said Ten year old Luz, staring at Danielle.

"Mmm-hmm," said Ten year old Danielle, holding her scepter. "And as princess, I'll help you on your journey Good Witch."

"…. …" said Ten year old Luz, before running into the house and looking for something.

"The bracelet," said Luz, seeing her younger self come running back out.

"Here," said Ten year old Luz, placing a bracelet around Danielle's wrist. "A symbol of friendship."

"I'll grow into it," said Ten year old Danielle, seeing the bracelet being a little big.

"I can't believe we really met that day," said Luz, leaving the memory. "That's why her bracelet looked so familiar. I gave it to her that day… as a symbol of friendship. I wonder how many other times we met?"

"Luz!" said King, jumping into Luz's arms. "Where were you?"

"Memory lane," replied Luz, as everyone else walked over. "Hey guys."

"Did you go into a memory by yourself?" asked Eda, staring at Luz.

"Yes," replied Luz, staring back at the memory. "And it was great."

"Huh?" said Eda, confused.

"This looks interesting," said Gus, entering a different memory.

"Meadow!" shouted an Eight year old Danielle, only to be grabbed by her grampa.

"What have I told you? What have I told you a million times?" shouted Grampa, gripping Danielle's arm hard. "You are not to play with…"

"Holy shit! He does not have a filter," said Luz, hearing what Danielle's grampa said.

"Hey Luz," said King, staring up at Luz. "What does…"

"No-no, it's a bad word, a very bad word," said Luz, stopping King from finishing that question. "Very racist. Please don't ever say it!"

"Okay," said King, looking at Luz.

"How 'bout we just leave this memory," said Lilith, as a nun walked over to the scene.

"Gladly," said Luz, leaving the memory before seeing a trail of sparkles floating about. "What's going on?"

"It's leading this way," said Amity, following the trail of sparkles.

"Hey, why does that tree over there look halfway petrified?" asked Gus, pointing towards a specific tree.

"Blocked memory," replied Aster, before seeing something in the distance. "That's… odd."

"Whoa," said Eda, as they walked closer and saw a giant shimmering ball over top a pond. "Wait… is that… Danielle?"

"It is," said Luz, spotting what looked to be Danielle in the center of the shimmering ball.

"Danielle. Danielle," said King, only to see that Danielle cover her ears. "Hey, I know you can hear me."

"Why isn't she listening?" asked Willow, before a white butterfly fluttered by. "Think it wants us to follow?"

"Yup," said Eda, as the butterfly fluttered around them then into the pond.

"Cannonball!" said Aster, diving into the pond.

Following after Aster, everyone starts swimming. Taking many twists and turns, the white butterfly guides them to the exit. Breaching the surface, everyone looks around.

"Hello there," said Aria, looking at everyone.

"Aah!" squeaked Aster, trying to dive back down.

"Nice try," said Aria, grabbing Aster. "We have much to talk about before you leave."

"Wait… you're…" said Eda, paling as Aria grabbed a lock of her hair. "Ow!"

"Yes, I am," said Aria, staring at Eda. "And I believe you need to tell my daughter what happened that day."

"That's Danielle's mom?" thought Luz, staring at Aria. "She's so… regal and beautiful."

"Come along," said Aria, pulling Eda along by her lock of hair as the rest just followed.

"What's going on?" asked Lilith, seeing quite a few people around. "Is that…"

"We have much to discuss and very little time," said Aria, looking at everyone.

And so, a lengthy explanation was told to everyone. Everyone was just flabbergasted at what they learned. At one point, Aria took Aster to the side to talk personally with him. Even Danny had to show the tv series to at least explain her part. By the end, everyone was just rubbing their foreheads.

"Oh… boy," said Eda, rubbing her forehead. "That's a lot to take in."

"At least that explains why Bump and Wrath have acted the way they did," said Luz, gripping the hem of her shirt. "They were preparing us. I still can't believe…"

"Mija, it's okay," said Camila, pulling Luz into a hug.

"I can't believe I lost you," said Luz, crying while gripping her mom.

"Better question right now is about Danielle," said Eda, looking towards Aria. "What are you? You're obviously not a witch nor human."

Unfortunately, Eda's question was interrupted by the mind shaking. Wondering what was going on, certain ones that resided in the mind went and merged with their actual selves. A rough ejection took place that had everyone splayed on the floor in the owl house.

"Please, no more than two next time," said Danielle, holding her head. "I had a hard time concentrating on the game."

"What?" said Eda, before seeing the chess board. "I thought I hid that good."

"So, what did you guys learn?" asked Danielle, looking at everyone.

"We have a lot to tell," said Luz, before grabbing Danielle's hand and fingering the bracelet. "But I am glad I met you that Halloween. You really perked me up."

"So… that was you," said Danielle, a slight blush on her face. "I know I met you other times after but…"

"That's okay," said Luz, still fingering the bracelet. "This bracelet brought us back together so… I'm glad we're friends."

"Yeah," said Danielle, before seeing a spectral Hooty coiled around Lilith. "Uuh, Lilith."

"Aah!" screamed Lilith, as the spectral Hooty uncoiled and rushed towards Hooty.

After Hooty had passed out, everyone started explaining what had happened. Once done, Danielle had to excuse herself to her room. Waiting a bit, Luz heads up and spots Danielle fiddling with an unwrapped box.

"Hey," said Luz, lightly knocking on the door frame. "You okay?"

"No… yes… I don't know," replied Danielle, staring at the earrings in the box. "I love my mom so much. But I also hate that she left us. I just… I just… everything is getting so complex, I don't know if I can keep up."

"You have us," said Luz, sitting down next to Danielle.

"You're about to get your full memories back and everyone else," said Danielle, looking at Luz. "Me… it doesn't look like I'll get them back any time soon."

"… …" said Luz, before hugging Danielle. "Hey, want me to help with these earrings? I can get a needle and an ice cube."

"I had my ears pierced long ago," said Danielle, showing her ears. "See."

"Can I still put them in?" asked Luz, looking at Danielle.

"Sure Luz," replied Danielle, looking at Luz.

"We'll get through this together," said Luz, grabbing an earring. "I know we will."

"Hey, Aster," said Luz, looking at Aster. "About what you said about witches and demons a few days ago…"

"That's just what Belos called them," said Aster, staring at the bookshelf. "To me, they're demi-humans and beastmen. Ones like Warden Wrath are an unknown to me still."

"Hey Luz," said Danielle, walking into the room. "Think you can carry the tablet for a bit? I wanna show Aster something."

"Sure thing Snowcap," said Luz, getting up.

"Snowcap?" said Danielle, staring at Luz.

"Well, most of your hair is silvery white like snow and the top of your hair is dark brown like a mountain," said Luz, looking at Danielle. "So, yeah, Snowcap."

"…" said Danielle, chasing Luz around the room.

"Aw, come on," said Luz, dodging Danielle and laughing a bit. "It fits."

"I knew you would like it," said Danielle, watching Aster staring at the shelves of video games and consoles.

"So many," said Aster, sparkly eyed. "I don't know where to start. What did you start with?"

"I started with the consoles my dad had," replied Danielle, grabbing a game. "Then I was able to get the swap years later."

"What about you Luz?" asked Aster, looking at Luz.

"The BS4 and the New Nintendo 3DS XL," replied Luz, looking at a game. "The ones Danielle played besides the swap are much earlier."

"Then I'll play those and work my way up," said Aster, eyeing a game. "Hmmm… Harvest Moon, sounds interesting."

"I enjoyed that game," said Danielle, grabbing the game. "More friends was my first."

"This one looks good too," said Aster, eyeing another game. "Terranigma… funny name."

"How'd Eda get that one?" said Danielle, grabbing the game. "This never got to America… … … we got to figure out how to get the home console up and working."
