Crazy Little Ling Called Love
For the past whole week, Leo had cleaned the Hall Of Heros for his punishment. But during the whole week, he started not joining them for meals for the whole week, which was kind of strange. Leo had finished up cleaning the Hall Of Heros a little earlier than expected around eleven o'clock. The young man had an early lunch and went to the library. He went through several scrolls he read in the past few months he was been here in case he did miss something. Leo looks at his phone and it was four o'clock right now. He puts the scrolls away and left the library where he saw Tigress and Monkey was carrying a large, heavy gold crown known as The Crown Of Heaven. They'll be bringing it to the Imperial Museum located in the Imperial City.
Leo noticed Po was acting a little strange as he was upset.
"Everything okay, Po?" Leo asked him.
"Yeah." Po sniffled.
"Hm."
"Let's get going, everyone." Shifu said.
The Grand Master and the warriors left the valley and was walking on the dirt path through the bamboo forest. Tigress was pulling the cart as Monkey was on the roof.
"Be on your guard, everyone. This quiet won't last." Shifu said as he, Po and Leo was ahead of the Furious Five.
"Last?" Po whined.
"What's wrong with being last?" Shifu lowers his voice.
"What are you-" Leo was saying until his master puts an arm up.
"They're all around us." Shifu said, looking at their surroundings.
Several snow leopards surrounded quickly.
"These are Junjie's guys!" Po exclaims.
"Time to earn our pay." Mantis smirks getting into a fighting stance.
"Wait, we get paid?" Po looks at Mantis.
The green bug started to attack a nearby leopard. Tigress blocks a kick from a leopard and Monkey dodges the leopard's punch and the feline got on her hack to kick Monkey up to the leopard for a good punch. Viper leans back on the handle to dodge a kick and counters back with her tail.
Tigress and Viper saw four leopards preparing to attack Leo while dealing with three leopards. Tigress threw Viper to intervene the two leopards and Tigress delivers two palm strikes to the other two leopards. Leo knocked out the third leopard and turns to see Tigress and Viper knocking out the four leopards that was behind him.
He nodded his head as thanks to them and continued fighting.
"Deliver that crown to the museum! We'll go after Junjie!" Shifu ordered them before taking off after Po.
Leo finished off the female leopard by doing a fast spinning hook kick across her face that knocked her out unconscious. Everyone regrouped together as Junjie's leopards were out cold.
"Great job, you guys." Tigress said to her teammates. "Now let's get this crown to the museum. Leo, go catch up to Po and Shifu. I think they got him."
"Yes, Master Tigress." Leo said. He ran down the path to see Po looking down at his master. The human slows down and walks up to them. "Did you and Shifu stopped Junjie?"
Po turns halfway to look at Leo. "Uh..."
Leo looked a little confused until his eyes laid on Mei Ling. "What the hell is she doing here?"
"Please, let me explain myself." Mei Ling said.
"By all means, I'm sure you have a good reason for ripping out my still-beating-heart." Shifu looks at her angrily.
"Ew." Po grossed out.
"But Fufi, I did it for us. Years ago, not long after we broke up, I stole a beautiful silver sword from Master Junjie. But I was more confident than skilled. I begged for mercy and he said he'll let me go but someday he'll ask a favor. One favor. Now Junjie has asked that favor several days ago." Mei Ling explains.
"The Crown Of Heaven." Shifu sighed.
"Yes. If I fail to deliver the crown to him, Junjie will finish me off and you." Mei Ling approached him. "You have to believe me, I did it for us so we can be together and alive."
Shifu turns away from her.
"We can't trust her, Master." Po approached him. "She pulled this stuff before and she's using you."
"I believe her." Shifu looks at her.
"But-"
"I said I believe her!" Shifu raised his voice.
"Well it doesn't matter anyway. By now, the Five would've brought the crown to the museum by now."
"No!" Mei Ling gasps. "No one has ever broken into that place. It's like a fortress."
"If Junjie doesn't get that crown, we'll never be safe. It will take him years where he will get us sooner or later." Shifu said to her.
"So you have no choice but to give Junjie the crown." Leo folded his arms.
"Yes." Shifu walks by Mei Ling. "But I'm not going to let you steal it." He stops and turns to them. "Which is why I'm going to steal it myself."
Po and Mei Ling gasps.
"Are you crazy?! You can't steal! You're Shifu!" Po pointed out.
"Honor is the core of your being. You can't just sacrifice who you are for me."
"Yes, I've given my life to honor." Shifu grabs her hands with his. "But it left me tired, cranky and alone. Maybe it's time I give my life to something else. To love."
"It's out of the question, Fufi. I won't let you do it."
"The thing about that, my dear, you can't stop me." Shifu said.
Mei Ling looks down at her wrists and see they were tied up with rope. "What?"
"I want you two to escort Mei Ling to the cabin that's not far from here." Shifu hands the rope to Po. "Hold here there so she won't get in my way."
"Don't you mean we'll get in your way?" Po asked him.
Shifu stops and looks at his two students. "The two of you may try. But do you really want to me my one true happiness? My one chance at love?"
Po thought about it a moment and sighed. "Alright. But if you want my opinion-"
"I don't want to know." Shifu interrupted him.
"She just tricked you into doing her dirty trick for you." Po said.
As Shifu turns around, he came face to face to Leo looking down at him. "Since when did you became romantically involved with a thief?"
"Mei Ling is an ex-thief now, Leo."
"There is no ex-thieves, Master. Only ones who aren't breaking the law at the moment."
"I'm not like that anymore, Leo." Mei Ling said.
"Look, I understand that this never-ending mission I had when I was with Bruce is a lonely endeavor. If Mei Ling isn't a trollop and will provide some carnage release, so be it. But I know you won't overstep your boundaries to Mei Ling. However, I insist you both protect yourselves be-"
"Just go to the cabin." Shifu said to Leo.
The three of them heads to the cabin. Leo made dinner while Po kept an eye on Mei Ling. Nighttime came by. The young man stepped outside to patrol the area in case Junjie or his leopards come after them. Leo spreads his fiery wings and jumps several feet off the ground. This was very useful to see who would be coming. He flew in a circle around the house. It was quiet.
Leo landed on the ground and turns around to see Po and Mei Ling stepping outside. He notices her wrists were free. "Po, what are you doing? Mei Ling needs to have paws tied up right now." Leo approaches them.
"Don't worry, Leo. I'm getting the Furious Five right now and explain later." Po said to him as he rushes off.
Leo looks down at her. "Get inside." He snarls at her. The young man follows her inside and closed the door. Leo took a seat as Mei Ling sits across from him.
"Not surprised that you're not going to tie me up." Mei Ling said.
"Cause you'll just escape once you Shifu gives the crown to Junjie." Leo replied. "But you can't handle seven warriors keeping a close eye on you when we leave for the prison."
Several minutes has passed by and they both heard the door open, causing them to see Po standing in the doorway. Leo took a glance over the panda's shoulder and saw The Furious Five standing outside. Leo and Mei Ling steps out, causing the Five Warriors to gasps.
"Wait a sec, Mei Ling?!"
"What is she doing here?" Tigress asked Po.
"I should let you all know that Shifu and I have secretly rekindle our relationship. Because I have officially gone straight. No more crime." Mei Ling explains.
"Why should we trust you?" the feline looks at her.
"Because Shifu is planning to steal the crown to hand over Master Junjie."
"What does Junjie have to do with this?" Viper wondered.
"Mei Ling begged for mercy after she tried to steal a silver sword from Junjie. He let her go and asked for one favor." Po explains to them. "And if she fails, Junjie will kill her and Shifu."
"Damn." Monkey cursed.
"So what can we do?" Crane asked her.
"Mei Ling and I came up with a plan." Po answered.
"Then what is your plan?" Leo asked Po and Mei Ling.
"The plan is to do a believable fake fight. Junjie needs to really think I stole the crown."
"Then you would go to prison."
"Yes, I really do love Shifu. I can't let him sacrifice his honor for me." Mei Ling nodded slowly.
"I really don't like the idea of working with people like you, Mei Ling." Leo snarls at her.
"Come on, Leo. If Shifu steals the crown, then he'll be in prison for the rest of his life." Po said. "We should go along with this plan because Mei Ling really cares about him."
"I agree with Po, Leo. This is the only way." Viper looks at him.
Crane, Mantis and Monkey agreed. Even Tigress which surprised Leo.
"Leo?"
Leo lets out a sigh before he spoke. "Look, I know that you want to save Master Shifu and let Mei Ling go to prison, but I don't like the idea of working with thieves, criminals and villains. I'm not going to help her out as a damn reminder. There must be another way."
"I'm sorry, Leo. But we don't have a choice." Viper apologizes.
"Fine. But I'm staying here if Junjie's leopards are coming here. That's final." Leo walks by them.
"Leo-" Tigress was saying but Po stops her.
"Don't worry, Tigress. I'll convince him." Po said to her.
The feline nodded her head as Po watched The Furious Five left the area. Before Po can talk to him, he saw Mei Ling approaching Leo who was scanning the area.
"Before I go to the museum, I want to let you know that I really do care for your Master, Leo. I don't want to lose him." Mei Ling said. "Po told me that you're mad at the Furious Five because Shifu put Po in charge of training. You don't have to be mad at them for doing it. They don't want Shifu to spend his life in prison. And I know you don't want that too."
"We all care for Shifu, Leo." Po approached him, causing the human to turn to him. "And she really does love him with all her heart."
Leo thought about it and lets out an irritating sigh. "Look Mei Ling, I'm not doing this for you, but I'm doing this for Master Shifu."
"I understand." Mei Ling nodded before taking off.
"Come on." Po said to him.
The Dragon Warrior and the human caught up to the Furious Five. They were hiding up on a branch in a tree. The forest was on the outskirts of the city. Leo spots Junjie below. He slowly steps on a branch and kneels above the panda's head.
"Junjie is here." Leo whispered. "Do not forget the signal."
Junjie was pacing back and forth. He stops and turns around to see Mei Ling dragging the crown.
"Seriously... don't help... me... or anything..." Mei Ling struggled, dragging the heavy crown.
"Ma'am, I am an evil mastermind. I'm not known for my manners." Junjie chuckles evilly.
The fox caught her breath. "Alright Junjie. Here is the crown, just as we agreed."
Junjie inspects it. "I commend you on your promptness. Your debt is discharged. You are free."
"Not for long!" Po called out from behind Junjie. He lands behind him several feet away as the master turns around to face him. "Now, are you guys going to come peacefully or-"
Junjie snaps his fingers and his snow leopards landed beside their master in their fighting stances. Po snaps his fingers a couple times and also and the Furious Five lands besides the panda in their fighting stances.
"I thought the signal was "Ka-caw"!"
"Yeah!"
"It's what we agreed on."
"Let's get'em!" Leo shouted as they ran towards them.
Manits used his nerve attacks on eight leopards to knock them out. Mei Ling ducks as a leopard was thrown her way. She looks up and her eyes met Tigress's amber eyes for a moment. The feline had to block and counterattack at the first leopard she fought before taking out two more.
"Po!" She called to him.
The Dragon Warrior used his belly butt attack the leopard that was thrown and watch the leopard hits the ground. He turns around to face Junjie. Po blocks several punches from Junjie and grabs the tail of the unconscious snow leopard to block Junjie's kick and knocks the master away.
"Ha!" Mei Ling yells from above with a sword raised above her head.
Leo lands in between the two and shoves the panda out of the way. Both of his arms were cut as he felt the blade cut his skin. "Gr!" Leo grunted. He kicks her away a couple feet from him.
Po saw Junjie lands in front of him a couple feet away. Both of them charge at Leo and Po. Leo delivers a jumping uppercut to the red fox's jaw as Po swept Junjie with a low sweep kick and caught the sword, pointing it near Junjie's throat.
"On second thought, I would like to come quietly." Junjie smiles nervously.
"Good." Po smiled.
Leo caught some chains by Monkey as they chained up Junjie's students. After they were chained up, Leo picks up the sword from the ground and saw Enya standing several feet away from him on the dirt path. He took a quick look to see his friends discussing who stay and wait for the guards. The human looks back at Enya.
"You're skills tonight is still slopy." Enya said. "Do you actually think that your skills have improved? You're so fucking pathetic."
"Gr." Leo growls softly.
"Leo?" Tigress approached behind him. "What are you growling at?"
He looks at Tigress before looking back to see there were no sign of Enya. "It's nothing." Leo lied.
Tigress watch him walks away with Po and the two prisoners.
The four of them entered the city. Leo could some of the guards waking up and two more guards carrying Shifu by his arms.
"It's Chorh-Gom Prision for you, buddy." the rhino guard said to him.
"Not so fast!" Leo shouted, getting their attention.
"It's the Dragon Warrior and the human!"
"The real thieves are right here. The four-eye bastard here had her steal the crown for him. They are both guilty." Leo explains to the guards.
"But he was hitting us and stuff."
"Master Shifu is an honorable person. He was trying to prevent the crown from being stolen. Right?" Po looks at Shifu.
The two rhino's releases Shifu and lets him walk away. "Now I don't like action since I saw he can do."
"It's Chorh-Gom Prision for you two." the second rhino said as he approaches the two prisoners and started walking away with them.
Leo watched the first rhino tosses the crown on his head and walks away with no problem. He saw the panda's surprised look.
"May I have a moment with Shifu?" Mei Ling asked the guard.
The guard looks at Leo and Po both warriors nodded.
Mei Ling, Po and Leo approached Shifu.
"That was a sweet fake fight we did, heh. Although next time, we should do a little realistic next time." Po looks at Leo's arms as they continue to bleed.
"What is going here?" Shifu wonders.
"Po and I planned this, Fufi. The Furious Five were in on it too. Leo, however, did this for you and not for me." Mei Ling explains to him.
"I'm sorry that I doubted Mei Ling. She really does love you." Po apologizes before walking a couple feet away with Leo.
"I couldn't let you steal the crown to sacrifice your honor for me." Mei Ling said.
"But Junjie-"
"Junjie had to think I really tried to steal the crown. To make it believable, I'll have to spend my time in prison."
"Mei Ling..."
"You see this is the only way. I know you'll wait for me."
"As long as it takes."
They both leaned in and kiss for two second until they heard Po sobbing and looks at him.
"So- sorry. Got something my eyes!" Po cried, rubbing his eyes.
Leo said nothing as he watches his master kiss his girlfriend.
"I'll visit you soon." Shifu said to her. Mei Ling nodded and walks away. The small master turns around and walks up to Leo and Po. "I want to thank you both for helping me and Mei Ling."
"You're welcome, Master Shifu." Po smiled.
"It's not easy for me to trust someone like her." Leo said. "There's no way she'll gain my trust."
Before Shifu can speak, a guard walks up to them. "The Emperor would like to speak you, human."
"I better not keep him waiting then." Leo said and walks away from Po and Shifu. He arrives in the throne room where Emperor Han was waiting for him. But Leo wasn't expecting to see Panther in the throne room.
"Your majesty." Leo bows to the Emperor. "Panther."
"I'm glad that you made it, Leo. You got here much faster than I thought." Han smiled.
"I was already in the city, Emperor Han. You'll have to forgive me for appearing like this."
"Don't worry. You can clean up before you and Panther go on your mission."
"Mission?"
"I'll let Panther explain to you of what this is about."
Panther turns around to Leo. "He's here."
Leo stares at her.
"Blake Eater. The Nightstride."
