To Forgive What James Has Done
The two teams of Crimson Dusks and Crimson Dawn had left the hospital that morning and heads over to Tao Palace with Rex and Cody of Task Force 493 and a few members of Twilight Titans. They left just in time to see several government officials entering the parking lot. Once the team got back to Tao Palace, Sheila and James were standing on the battlefield in the Battle Stadium with their respective teams as Rex and Cody was standing near the two leaders. Wong, Azel and Risa was talking to the Grand Mistress and the other kung fu masters in private inside the Great Hall. Jack had a feeling they'll be talking to one of the League's Co-Leader for a few hours about James.
Evelyn was wearing an exact same uniform as Leo wore in his training. She chosen the name Robin for her alias name when going on missions. Leo chosen his alias name to be Phoenix since he received his uniform from Bruce. Rick would call Leo "Swift" sometimes.
Evelyn was wearing a dark red tunic with the yellow R on her left breast. The tunic covers the black body suit. She was wearing a black domino mask. Not to mention the green bladed gauntlets and black boots. The blades are curve, thin, hard and sharper than normal steel and retractable as the black boots. Her red utility belt was wrapped around her waist as she wore a black cape with yellow lines on all four sides of the cape.
Jill was wearing black leggings with a blue dress with a white t-shirt and black sneakers. She was holding a blue dao sword.
Misty was wearing light blue pants and a dark blue tank top.
Zack was wearing a red and white hoodie jacket with black shorts. He had the animal amulet hung around his neck. It was a brown amulet as it was nice and smooth.
Rex had his black twin pistols out as Cody has his assault rifle out. The weapons were filled with rubber bullets. The two brothers had loaded their weapons when they arrived at the Palace. Both teams knew Rick, Rex and Cody were here to check up on their training. Rick usually comes to check up on Crimson Dusks' training for the Justice Elite League as the two brothers check up on Crimson Dawn for Task Force 493. The three men would switch it up from time to time, but Rick would stay at the tower to solve some problems like that time when Leo and Crow slept together.
"So, who wants to go first to show how much they improved?" Rex asked.
"I don't mind going first." Cho answered as she steps forward. She was carrying a scimitar sword and a round yellow shield.
"Good. I'll be your opponent." Rex said, stepping forward.
Sheila and the others move over to the sidelines to watch.
Rex was quick to point his pistols at Cho and started firing. The dark redhead rolls out of the way to dodge the rubber bullets. She used her scimitar to deflect the bullets. One of the rubber bullets hit Rex's wrist that cause the one of the pistols to knock out of his hand. Cho charges at him with the shield raised to her face. Once she was close, Cho lunges with her scimitar, but Rex dodges the blade and fired.
Cho blocks a few more bullets and threw her shield. The shield bounces the rubber bullets off. Rex had to duck to avoid getting hit by the shield. He looks up and notice Cho wasn't there in front of him and turns around as Cho grabs his pistol away from him with both weapons pointed at him in front of his face.
"Not bad." Rex nodded his head.
"Thank you." Cho thanked him and returns his pistol.
Sheila notices Ju Fen entering the battle stadium. "Ju Fen? What is it?"
"The Grand Mistress has requested all of you to come to the Great Hall. Twilight Titans has something else they want to share about Leo."
They followed the vampire into the Great Hall. The Grand Mistress was sitting down on her throne as Master Lee stood beside the Grand Mistress with Azel, Risa, Logan, Wang, Kaito. The people who visited the hospital notice Kaito. Evelyn believes that Kaito is a Titan. She stood next to Rose and Crow at the front with Rick, Jack and Sheila.
"Okay, now that we have the others from outside, you may proceed." Suzu said to Wang. "What would you like to share about Leo?"
"Several of my friends and I were sent to save Leo before Abra can steal him and the clone Saber. We arrived in time to seeing him covered in flames while eating the dead corpse of an animal." Azel explains.
"Because of an odorless psychotropic drug." Kaito quickly added.
"Abra. I heard that name once. Rex, Cody, didn't you two mention you met Abra before SHIELD blew up five years ago?" Lee looks at the two brothers.
"Yes, we did."
"And what is this about the clone Saber?" Rick asked. "There's no way that feline could survive that. Plus, all those bio weapons were destroyed. Even Leo's clone, L."
"I assure all of you that Leo had to work with the clone to get us out of those caves. We don't know why Abra wants Leo and the clone for. Leo came back to his senses and passed out. The next day he was very hungry after some literal rats were stealing food from the village. And he came across Aken The Sorcerer while we had to deal with the minions an hour later after Leo left some signs on the walls for us to follow." Azel said.
"But how did Abra get there and put that odorless drug on the walls?" Sheila wondered.
"I'm not sure. Maybe a few days, I think. The clone, however, has been hiding from the eyes of the public for months now, according to Leo." Wang said.
"That clone has been for months from the people in that world?" Boris raised his eyebrows in surprised.
"Correct."
"Then what the hell is it eating then?" Zack asked.
"Wild animals that are dead ends up in the caves. We don't have information on that." Risa spoken up.
"Damn." Tori cursed under her breath.
"How long do you think Leo and Panther will stay in Gongmen City?" Brock asked.
"I think for a few a days. He's telling Panther what he saw in the cave and making a plan." Azel said.
"And Panther is doing ok?" Lee asked her.
"She's doing good from what I saw."
"But why would Leo meet Panther in Gongmen City? Shouldn't they stick together at the Valley Of Peace?"
"He said he'll explain later when I see him and Panther again."
"And what about fiery wings you mentioned?"
"Leo had these fiery wings to help us navigate through the caves. He wasn't being burned from the flames."
"Here. I got a couple of pictures right here." Logan takes out his iPhone and held it out where they can see.
In the picture was Leo with fiery wings on his back.
"Wow." Jack said amazed.
"I'll say. Leo is full of surprises." Rick nodded his head.
"I agree." Suzu nodded as everyone shifted their attention to her. "After Master Lee adopted Leo, things have changed a lot around here along with our lives. We have treated Leo as family for a long time. I know that Leo can be cold and a little difficult while going through extreme lengths, but he does cares to those around us."
"I remember he came to the birthday party for Sheila." Tori smiled.
"He came up to check on me when I was sick two years ago from Logan's expired chocolate." Misty said as she looks at Logan.
"Leo also reunited Zelda with her parents." Jill added.
"And I remember correctly Leo volunteered himself when I told him I had a mission ready." Rick smiled slyly.
Evelyn slowly turns her head to him.
"You mean the mission to catch a guy who was abducting teenage girls?" John asked him.
"The very same. I gave him two options; go on a fake date with Crow, Panther and Evelyn or dress up as a girl." Rick smiled.
Evelyn glares at Rick while Crow only pull the hood a little gently.
"But if there's one thing I do hope, it's where we celebrate Leo's birthday together." Cho smiled. "Celebrating Leo's birthday isn't a waste of time. It's a joyous time when a new life is born into this world."
"I know Leo has done some questionable things, but he always pull us through." Lee said. "We've all been in tough situations before. But when it comes to his nightmares, he refused our help to him."
"He's been sleeping peacefully now that his nightmares are over." Rex said.
"But there is something I've been wondering about." Tori wondered.
"And what is it?"
"How is it that you Titans been able to summon portals?" Tori asked Azel.
"We went through some special training that allows us to summon a portal to a different universe." Azel answered.
"So who do you think that summoned the portal and vortex to send Leo and Panther to the world of Kung Fu Panda?"
"I can't be sure. It has to be someone else who's more powerful than us to do that." Logan said.
"Damn." John cursed. "Who would send those two to that world?"
"We're not sure." Wang folds his arms over.
"Hm." Lee scratch his chin and looks at Crow. "Crow, are you strong enough to summon a portal to the other side where Leo and Panther is right now?"
"If my father doesn't stop complaining like a four-year-old brat, I should be able to summon a portal to them." Crow replied.
"I understand."
"And what about James? Are we going to make a decision to forgive him or not?" Evelyn asked. She did make an excellent point about James. They all listen to James's story about how he became the Dragon Soldier.
"Hm." Jack looks at Sheila.
"I think we should discuss this over at dinner and I'm sure that James's parents and older sister want to discuss about James when they arrive in the palace. We don't want to rush into things because they need to process this about their family member being alive after all this time." Sheila responded to Bruce's daughter.
"Plus, the president of Wilson Industries came to see him a few days ago." Rick said.
"You think Ethan is going to attempt to have James join the WARRIOR Program?" Tori wondered.
"According to Xiu, he made no mention about the WARRIOR Program." Jack said.
"Good." Lee said. "Now, all of you can go back to your training."
The day passed into the evening. Boris has already finished setting up the table in the Great Hall with Serena and Ava. The two girls and Brock just got back from the hospital an hour ago. Brock was in the kitchen helping out Zuko, Emily, Lynn, Noel and Aria in the kitchen making dinner for everyone with the chef. Xiu was talking to Ron while setting plates and silverware on the tables.
James's parents were in their room. Their daughter, Alexia, was at the field behind the Tao Palace. She didn't join the others for training because her young brother was on her mind. Everyone respected her decision. Boris takes his phone out to take a look at the seating chart list.

This was a very long list. It has everyone on the list, except Leo, Panther, Jodi and Kevin. Rex and Cody were told by Jody that she and Kevin will be in Japan for a few weeks. Boris looks up from phone and saw Serena and Ava finishing setting up the table for the food. There was a long table in the center of the room for when the food comes out. "Serena, Ava, can you tell the others that it's almost time for dinner?"
Tori was watching Evelyn train alone at the center of the battlefield as Crow was looking up at the afternoon sky above them. She watched Evelyn finish striking the air with her sword. Evelyn sheathes her sword and walks up to Crow and Tori.
"I think dinner is almost ready. We should let Alexia know it's time for dinner." Tori said to them.
The two girls followed her outside to the back of the Tao Palace in the field. They could see a woman sitting down with her legs crossed. She was wearing a green tank top, green shorts and green sneakers. Her brown hair was tied into a ponytail and she has green eyes. The three girls could see she was lost in her own thoughts. They approached her.
"Alexia? How are you?" Tori asked her as she was concerned for her.
Alexia took a heavy breath. "I just can't... I can't believe that James is alive after all this time and he was the Dragon Soldier too."
"It was a surprise to us all too." Tori kneels beside her friend.
"How did it feel when your parents and you were in the same room with James?" Crow asks her. "Or when you heard he's alive?"
"It's a mixture of happiness, anger and sadness." Alexia turns her head to Tori. "I'm happy to know that James is alive and well. Leo fought James and helped my brother break free from Sparta's control for now. But what he did as the Dragon Soldier, I'm angry at him after he killed those people. And I'm sad that what James has gone through these past nine years. If we did kill him without knowing... the pain would be too much."
"He's alive and safe right now. That's all it matters to you now." Tori places a hand on her shoulder.
"I have to thank Leo when he and Panther gets back from that world." She replied.
"And we'll be asking them a lot of questions too." Evelyn replied.
"Things would be a lot interesting when those two come back." Crow said.
"We should head inside. I think they're almost done making dinner." Alexis stands up from the ground and all four of them started walking back towards the palace. "So, is Sheila and Jack going back to the hospital after dinner?"
"Yes." Evelyn answered. "With this many people, the Grand Mistress wants us all to discuss if we should forgive your brother or not after what he's done after I saw the list in the text."
"Oh."
"But all of us are still thinking about it these few weeks. I know some are ready to forgive James, but the others are not. After listening to what happened, I'm sure they're thinking about forgiving him." Tori smiled. "I told my brother last night we should listen to know what happened."
"Thank you, Tori."
They step inside the hallway to see Ava walking up to them.
"There you are. I was about to come and tell you all it's time for dinner." Ava tells them. "Serena and I already got the others. You're the last people for me to get."
"That's great." Crow replied.
The girls heads to the Great Hall where everyone was already standing in a line with their plates to get their food.
"Oh." Rick turns halfway to see Evelyn standing behind him with Crow and the others. "There you are, Evelyn. I was wondering if you were somewhere else in the palace."
"I was still training after almost all of you left." Evelyn replied.
"That's good." Rick said as the line started to move.
For the main course tonight, there was rice, chicken, ham, bake cod, bake salmon, smoke salmon, baked sweet potatoes, green beans, asparagus, cauliflower, corn on the cob and bread rolls. There were different types of drinks for everyone to have, juice, soda, tea and wine.
Everyone had gotten their food and drink and sat down at the tables. Evelyn sat down with Rick and the others. Their table was a few feet away from the Grand Table where Evelyn can see the portrait of The Black Spirit. Evelyn sat down in between Crow and Rose. The food was delicious as they began eating.
"The fish is good." Alexia said, taking the bones out. "And so does the sweet potatoes."
"Oh yeah." Tori agreed as she took a drink of her soda.
"When Leo and Panther does return, we should have your brother try Leo's cooking. He makes one mean healthy chicken salad." Jack said.
"That would be something." Crow replied.
"I'm just glad that your brother is taking the government's deal after he gets the effects out of him." Sheila smiled before frowning. "But I don't understand why Ethan wants James for his WARRIOR Program."
"At least we know that Ethan didn't suggest to James to a be a spy with Black Saints." Rose said.
"True. We've met the Black Saints several times on our missions." Rick nodded.
"Tsing is the leader of the group. Then you have Nicole, Jeffery, Trevor, Link, Amy, Mason and Elen. Not to mention Evangeline who used to be a member of the Black Saints." Sheila replied.
"Well, I'm just glad that James will be taking the deal." Alexia smiled before it was replace by a frown. "Do you think you can forgive my brother for what he's done?"
Rick and the others at the table looks at each other and smiled before looking back at Alexia.
It was already nighttime in the city. James was in his bed. The two leaders of Crimson Dawn and Crimson Dusk was standing at the foot of the bed. Xiu was sitting on a chair near the window.
"Well James, after discussing about your actions, everyone has come to a decision." Jack said.
"We all decided..."
James lowered his head, holding his breath.
"... To forgive you what you've done." Sheila smiled.
He lets out a sigh of relief. "Thanks you two."
"Don't worry about it." Jack approached him on the right side of the bed. "I'm glad none of us killed you before we found out you're the Dragon Soldier."
"I told them I'll do it after I get the effects out of me when I leave the hospital sometime this weekend or next weekend." James said.
"Good." Sheila nodded. "Perhaps after you're done, we could all hangout together so we can get used to the real you."
"I like the sound of that." James nodded. "You'll be coming back here tomorrow?"
"Your parents and your sister will be here tomorrow. The rest of us will come visit tomorrow." Jack assured him.
"Thanks." James smiles at him.
"See you tomorrow." Jack said to him before leaving the room with Sheila.
James lowered his head on the pillow and closed his eyes. He's thankful that Leo broke James free from Sparta's control.
