"When you say you'll bring me to a perfect isolated place, I thought it'll be a normal empty field or unused land, not a mountain."
Mirko grins as she and Crust get out of the car as the rest of the interns are also out. Izuku twisted his back while letting a grunt, while Ochako and Eijirou did the same. Everyone are now wearing a casual clothes instead of their hero/intern uniform.
"This looks like a nice place." Leo chirps as Taurus crawls on the ground, his body still sore from being tossed around like a ragdoll. He's so glad that who-shall-not-be-named isn't coming with them.
"So, how does this Job Quest work, anyways?" Mirko asks as Crust adjusts his shirt collar.
"I...am unsure," Izuku admits as everyone stares at Izuku in disbelief.
"I'm sorry, but you didn't try to find info?!" Mirko asks in disbelief.
"I did, and from the majority of games, it's usually giving a specific type of mission based on the job you got," Izuku says before rubbing his head. "And since my build is more balanced, with my stats focused on intelligence, I'm going to be either a mage, a swordsman based on my skill, or both. And let's not forget the factor that the system is very adamant about making me kill others, given by the two emergency missions. Their unpredictability shows when they start to mess with my leveling, changing one of my emergency missions while removing the penalty, and giving me a mission to save my friend-!"
"Okay, okay. I get it, so please stop with the word vomit." Izuku snaps out of his thoughts before he blushes in embarrassment, earning chuckles from his friends. As Taurus was too busy with his aching body, Leo was observing Izuku, slowly thinking he might be too biased towards the boy due to his future potential.
"Anyways..." Izuku pulls out two items from his inventory.

"...my gold...my poor gold..." Izuku mutters as he comically tears up while holding a vial containing colorless liquid. He sighs before he drinks the vial, opens the pouch, and drinks it.

"..." Izuku felt his strength increase by a lot as he flexed his finger. "This should be enough. Now then," Izuku opened his windows and went to the mission section, selecting [Job Change Quest].
[Will you accept the 'Job Change Quest'?]

Without any more hesitation, Izuku pressed 'yes' before a huge amount of mana flowed right in front of Izuku, sending shivers to everyone.
"Get back!" Mirko exclaims as they all do, except for Izuku as all the mana gathers in one spot. Then, a black orb appears where the mana gathers as purple lightning sparks around the empty field, accidentally hitting the car.
"My car!!!" Crust says in horror.
"Not the time!" Mirko exclaims before they all feel a chill in their spine as the illusion of a figure with glowing blue eyes flashes in their vision for a second.
"S-Shadow..." Leo mutters in fear before looking at Izuku, noticing that the boy's eyes widen.
"It's you..." Izuku mutters, remembering the dream he saw back then. He thought he would never see the figure again. Then, the black orb expands as a notification window appears.
[Enter the Dungeon to start your Job Change Quest, alone.]
"T-this is a Gate..." Izuku stutters as everyone looks at Izuku in shock. Mirko and Crust were in fear when they heard the information. Of all the things they would expect, creating a gate for Job Change isn't one of them.
'This design...I don't want to believe it...but, it's his.' Leo thought as he felt chills in his soul.
"...I have to clear this for the mission," Izuku says. "Alone."
"...is there no way for us to come?" Mirko asks.
"I don't think so. I rather not find out the penalty." Izuku says nervously. "I mean, what can they do besides creating an instant Gate?"
"...damn it." Mirko mutters.
"Before you go, kid," Crust says before he uses his quirk to create a stone-like hexagonal shield from his body before he detaches it and gives it to Izuku. "This might not be much, but it'll help."
"Thanks, Crust-san," Izuku says before he puts it on his inventory.
"Good luck, Izu."/"Break a bone, bro!" Both his friends say in unison as Izuku smiles at them.
"I will," Izuku says before he enters the dungeon. When he did, powerful lightning struck around the giant orb as a blue barrier covered the orb, preventing anyone from entering.
"Damn..." Mirko mutters.
Job Quest Dungeon
Mt. Atago
Chiba, Japan
"Well, this seems...eerie..." Izuku mutters as he looks around to see a stone hallway, resembling those from the medieval fantasy anime. Torches hang around the wall, lighting up the hallway. But it wasn't enough to cover the entire area as some parts were still dark.
"So...let's see the quest detail...stupid system does not provide anything until I enter..." Izuku mutters as he opens his status window.
[The Job Change Quest will now begin. You will accumulate more points the longer you stay alive. These points are needed to advance to a higher-ranking class. Good luck.]
[Rules]
- Cannot leave the Dungeon until cleared (unless using a Hearthstone or Penalty Quest is activated).
- Cannot access Player Shop
- Cannot use Potions
- Status Healing does not happen when/if the Player levels up
"...so you want to test me based on the skills I've gained till now, huh... Fine..." Izuku cracks his neck before he starts to walk as he remains on guard, anxiously looking around the area. As he walks, his enhanced hearing hears a clanking sound. Izuku summons [Balmung] as the sound gets louder before Izuku decides to squint his eyes.
From the shadow, Izuku caught a glimpse of metal before it slowly revealed to be armor, belonging to a knight. Or more accurately, a knight from the medieval era, with a longsword sheathed on their scabbard attached to their belt. Izuku uses [Appraisal] at the target as his eyes glow green.
[Hollow Knight]
[A knight who has waiting for the arrival of his master along with their fellow knights and commander. It's waiting for a very long time. MaSt3r, HaV3 y0u ArR1V3!?!]
Izuku blinks before shaking his head, ignoring the chills in his spine. What was that!?!? Did his [Appraisal] bugged!?! Why now of all time!?!
"S-so, you're my opponent, huh?" Izuku says before pointing [Balmung] and points at the knight. "Fine."
As he says that, the knight continues to walk before slowly, the clanking sounds start to multiply, revealing multiple knights appearing from the shadow.
"E-eh...?" Izuku mutters as he feels a sweat dripping from his cheeks. "Oi, oi, multiple enemies at once, aren't you guys supposed to be knights? Where's the chivalries and honors that people knew you guys for!?" When Izuku was met with nothing but silence, he just sighed. "Fine, I'll just fight."
Izuku activates [Hellfire] on [Balmung] before the knight stops. They grab their scabbard before unsheathing their sword, taking a stance as they point their sword towards Izuku.
Both sides stay quiet for a while before two of the knights charge at Izuku, while the boy also charges toward them. Both knights swing their swords in unison as Izuku swings his, resulting in the blades clashing with each other with a loud 'Clang'!
Izuku used his enhanced strength to push the blades away before slamming down his blade, but the knights proved to be more agile as they dodged the attack. Izuku widens his eyes when a pair of arrows flies towards Izuku, he narrowly parries it away with [Balmung] and uses his enhanced sight to see a pair of the armored knight, but with a hood instead of helmets, pointing their bows at Izuku.
'[Appraisal]!' Izuku thought as his eyes glowed green before dodging an incoming stab Izuku dropped [Balmung] before wrapping his arm around the knight's arm and letting a palm strike. To Izuku's surprise, his palm crushed the helmet like a wet paper cup. Before he could properly react, he received an appraisal window.
[Archers]
[A knight trained at the art of archery and close-quarter combat. They and their fellow brethren have awaited the arrival of their master. Ma5t3r, h0w l0nG sH0u1d w3 wA1t#@!?]
Izuku grimaces at the description, hitting the side of his head. He can't help but wonder what's going on. What's with the description!?
"Damn it, I guess I should not rely on [Appraisal]." Izuku switches [Balmung] with [Black Crusader] and [Crust's Shield].
