Archangel Xireon Chaos God: first of all, nice name, btw. Second, thanks for the follow and fav, appreciate it (Sams goes for the others). Third, um...what do you mean by that? Fourth, yeah, you really need some sleep. It's not worth it staying up all night, buddy. Get a proper rest.
ProjectIceman: There's reason why the fic is rated M in the first place, buddy. That unintentional pun was terrible, lol. Your questions have been answered with some fixes. And yeah, 'damn'.
Abandoned Building/Dungeon Gate
Chiba, Japan
'How?' Izuku thought nervously as he grips his fist tightly. 'I thought HPSC hid these from the public, how did they manage to find one!? Did they miss one while patrolling!?'
Izuku then remembers the feeling ooze from every member of the group and the words come from the HPSC member, Mera.
"You see, not many people were able to survive when they entered the gate. But, when they did...the gate gave them some sort of 'reward'."
"The people who went through an Awakening somehow unlock a power that's beyond quirk."
"For some unknown reasons, people awakened some sort of powers within them after surviving a dungeon. But, the weird thing is, every awakened human always awakens their skills when they're on the brink of death."
'So, besides Kirishima, every people here are awakeners, like me.' Izuku thought. 'The mana leaks from them indicate they have quite a good amount of mana in them. If I rank them like how I mostly play games, they're around...9 C-Ranks, and 3 B Ranks.'
Izuku looks at Kirishima who looks nervous and awed at the scene of the gate. He can't help but feel bad about Kirishima for getting tricked by these people.
"Hey," Izuku whispers, getting Kirishima's attention. "Don't let your guard down. They're too fishy."
"Don't you think you overreacting?" Kirishima whispers back.
"You got dragged into an unknown territory. And not to mention, those people have enough manpower to do it themselves. Don't you think it's weird for them to hire more?" Izuku whispers back, trying to get some sense into Kirishima's head.
"I think they're just being cautious." Izuku can't blame him for thinking like that. Everyone will be cautious to deal with the unknown, even the stupidest people out there.
"Just be careful," Izuku said as Kirishima simply nodded before they all entered the gate.
Musutafu Police Department
Musutafu, Japan
"This is getting more and more complicated," Naomasa mutters as he puts down the signed paperwork on the table and sighs.
He can't stop thinking about the day he and Toshinori meet Gang Orca. It has been the biggest 'my life is a lie' moment in his life. He has never been able to see the police department in the same way as before, especially after learning a lot of things from Gang Orca.
He sometimes wishes that he never had his quirk and remains ignorant of the real world.
Flashback begins, few days ago
Yakiniku Restaurant

"What do you mean 'shake the entire world'?" Naomasa said as he narrowed his eyes.
"I assure you, he won't be against humanity. He has a very strong desire to be a hero. I believe he'll be participating in UA's entrance exam in 10 months." Gang Orca said while rubbing his head. This made both men at ease, but still wary about the information.
"Let's sit down first so we can talk properly." Gang Orca said as they complied and sat together.
"Now talk," Naomasa said as Gang Orca chuckled.
"Impatient, are you?" Naomasa simply stares at him with an unimpressed look. "You can say that this child has obtained powers beyond even the awakened."
"Even beyond the awakened!? Just how strong is he?" Yagi asked in dread.
"Very, but he requires time and hard work to grow. And like I said, he's not our enemy. Or rather, we don't want to make him our enemy." Gang Orca comments.
"Just how dangerous he is that you refuse to make an enemy out of him?" Naomasa comment.
"I think you both should stop that process of thoughts. I know how much you two were affected by a man with so much power and an unending hunger." This caused both men to tense. Did the hero know something? "But, when I said that he's not a threat to humanity, you can assure that I speak the truth."
"How can you be so sure?" Naomasa asked as Gang Orca sighed.
"With my own life." This causes both men to look at him in shock. "So, if I'm wrong, you can sentence me to death."
"...why do you trust him so much?" Yagi asked as Gang Orca was silent for a moment before giving them a sad smile.
"...my former comrade. That's all I can answer." This made the men even more confused, and unnoticed by them, Gang Orca's eyes had a hint of golden light in them and a single tear escaped his left eye. "Anyways, let me give more brief details about the [Gates]."
"...I see..." Yagi says with hesitation.
"And also, I would like if you keep the details of the entire thing secret, including the Dungeon Break." Gang Orca says, making both men widen their eyes.
"What, why!?" Yagi asks in protest. "The citizens need to know!"
"Yes, that is true, but HPSC will do anything to keep it silent." Gang Orca explains. "HPSC will unable to do anything about you, but Naomasa is a completely different matter. In just a day, your friend will be framed as the 'man who provides false information to Number 1 Hero.'"
"T-they wouldn't do that...do they?" Yagi mutters.
"Trust me, they will. All to keep the entire thing secret."
Flashback Ended
"I wish everything was just my drunk self hallucinating..." Naomasa mutters as he rubs his forehead in annoyance. He pulls out the folder given by Gang Orca and looks into it. He was surprised at how much trust Gang Orca gave to them despite they had suspected him of having a hidden motive.
"There's so much information given here..." Naomasa mutters before seeing the members of UEIS. He can't help but sweatdrop at the fact that the group approved such an acronym. Before he could fully look into the details, he heard a knoonrom the door.
"Come in!" Naomasa puts away the file as the door opens. It reveals to be a man with long black messy hair, bags under his eyes, an unshaven beard, and an 'I'm so done' expression wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and trousers with a bandage-like scarf around his neck. Naomasa squint in disgust. "You should clean yourself up, Eraserhead. You smell terrible."
"I will, but I decided to visit here on my way home." The man, Eraserhead, said as Naomasa sighed.
"Are you still tracking down that group?" Naomasa asked as Eraserhead nodded.
"You know why I'm looking for them," Eraserhead said as Naomasa sighed.
"Aizawa, we haven't seen any sign of Lizard Tail since you took down the whole operations," Naomasa said.
"And I said what I saw, they've escaped. There were 13 hundred members back then, and we only managed to catch 981 of them." Aizawa said. "There's no sign of bodies there. Their tracks disappear at the center of the room like someone uses a warp quirk."
"But, there's no member there has warp quirk..." Naomasa mutters before he is deep in thought.
"You know something?" Aizawa asked as Naomasa looked back at him before shaking.
"Nothing, I just find it weird." Naomasa said as Aizawa was too tired to notices the detective's eyes glow red and nodded.
"I hope you could help me track them down. There's no way they're all dead." Aizawa said before leaving the room. As he leaves, Naomasa's face turns worried, and starts to read the files again.
[There's a very low chance to survive the gate. But, if anyone manages to survive while on the brink of death, they will go through an awakening, unlocking their magic.]
"This is too bizarre...but I can't rule out the possibilities..." Naomasa mutters before he pulls out the business card and contacts the phone number written on it.
Dungeon
Chiba, Japan
Screech
"Die, you vile beast!" The man yells before slicing down a goblin holding an axe with a sword. While another shoots down a goblin tossing a rock with a blue orb, creating a huge hole on its head.
"Hahaha! This is so easy!" Another man said before shooting down a goblin trying to jump on his allies.
Izuku and Kirishima stood there, blinking owlishly at the group pulling out a genocide on the poor group of goblins. The duo stare at each other.
"Do they even need our help in the first place?" Eijirou asked as Izuku shrugged.
"I rather not ask," Izuku said before silently kicking a pebble at a group of goblins, creating a hole in their head, and killing them. He hears a screech behind him before reaching his hand out and catches a goblin trying to sneak on Kirishima. "Like I said, be careful."
"Ah...right..." Kirishima nodded shakily before looking down in sadness. Izuku becomes more worried about him as he snaps the goblin's neck. '...this is so awkward.'
Izuku grabs another pebble and flicks it, killing a goblin with a large hole in its head.
[Notice: You leveled up]
'...this is such an inefficient way to level up...' Izuku deadpanned as the group finally finished slaughtering the poor monsters. 'So much for leveling up...'
"Alright, guys. Time for a break!" Everyone cheered as Izuku walked away. "Hey, man. Get some rest as well."
"I didn't get a chance to do anything back there. I'll watch the area so no monster will ambush us." Izuku said as the man looked surprised before nodding.
"Okay! You know, you should join our team! You seem to know what you're doing." The same man commented.
"Thanks for the offer. I'll think about it." Izuku said as Kirishima looked back and forth before joining Izuku.
"I'll go with him," Kirishima said as the man nodded. As the boy turns around and follows Izuku, he doesn't notice the dark aura coming from the group.
