uchiha-rune: No problem, and yes, his 'Noble Phantasm' gets stronger.
AnimeFan13579: It wasn't mentioned because there isn't a moment people bother to ask how awakening happens, even the Trinity didn't bother to ask. As for Eraserhead getting that type of magic, it's a good idea.
ProjectIceman: True, and if they know what happened in the first chapter of SL: R, there will be riots. XD
Daemon of Wrath: Well, Izuku can give pre-Jeju Island Raid Arc Sung a run on his money thanks to his versatility, but if they fought only relying on stats, Izuku is only as strong as pre-Demon Tower Arc. Gang Orca's awakening looks tamer wasn't because of the Light Fragment. It's like the luck of a draw, which has been established in the first chapter of SL: R where the bully Sung Suho faced suddenly awakened when he got his ass handed. Nighteye got an unintentional Quirk power-up due to trying to use his quirk on Izuku back in the early chapter while also gaining a bit of mana since an unknown entity had to intervene to prevent Nighteye from seeing the entire future, so no, he's not a ruler. As for Beru, yes, that will happen and Izuku has to restrain him from killing Fumi. XD

Nedzu can be seen sitting on his chair while looking through his computer with all data given by UEIS (A choice of acronym that still made Nedzu snort due to how bad it was) in the form of a hard drive after they agreed to ally. Nedzu can't help but be wary about the unknown information he found about the HPSC. The information that was hidden right under his nose.
It turns out that HPSC has been keeping information regarding Gates from the public as a way to monopolize all the awakeners in the entire Japan. Gates have all the monsters that could provide materials that are not found in the world, which can used to create powerful weapons that could rival Quirks, and it is also a way for any Awakeners to grow stronger. According to the data UEIS 'borrows' from HPSC, magic requires mana, and when you run out of mana, it'll take time before it recovers and Awakeners will unconsciously absorb mana flowing in the air to recover faster. They found out that if Awakeners push their limits inside the Dungeon, their growth increases at a high rate, especially for the strength of magic and their mana capacity. Dungeons provide growth and tools for Awakeners to get stronger.
Nedzu can't help but grimace at the information. If that's true, then HPSC monopolizes it so they can hire strong Awakeners for themselves and provides every necessary tool for them to keep them loyal. Nedzu looks and figures out how HPSC managed to keep them secret, courtesy of Agent Hail and Mastermind. Based on the information they gathered, Agent Hail was a psychopath who was in prison due to manslaughter 20 years ago before he was awakened. He manages to break out of jail and was under the radar for a year before he was found by the HPSC and hired as their assassin. Mastermind, on the other hand, was just a low-rank worker of HPSC who rose thanks to his awakening 20 years ago.
Both have magics that help HPSC easily keep things hidden, [Hazy Snow] and [Voice of the Machine] . [Hazy Snow] manipulates the minds of people near the incident while [Voice of the Machine] manipulates every device, which explains all the fake videos and evidence whenever it pops up in the news while also explaining how he wasn't able to find information regarding dungeons when he hacked the system years ago. The good news is that Agent Hail is under UEIS custody and has no way to escape courtesy of one Izuku Midoriya, who ruthlessly cuts 3 of his limbs away and removes his ability to use magic, permanently while being tortured to crawl on a treadmill, a bag of cocaine as a bait for him to keep crawling out of desperation to sate his addiction, a suggestion given by Lady Nagant herself, who once dated the man. Nedzu can't help but shudder in excitement when reading the report, the level of cruelty of the punishment was too much for him, and borrowing some vocabulary from his employee, he can't help but feel aroused.
Bad news, he isn't the only one who can manipulate people's mind ,given how the report shows multiple HPSC agents that were killed in the background. And not to mention, Mastermind is still out there, heavily guarded by HPSC. Unless they manage to find a way to draw him out, they can't simply rush to capture or kill the man. HPSC has way too many connections and from the information Nedzu got, they even have connections, either it's media or political figures. They will no doubt expose the UEIS as criminals if they ever attacked them head-on. Nedzu can't help but think HPSC is too arrogant for giving UEIS too much freedom, but he ironically thanks them since their arrogance allows Nedzu to gain more dirt he can use against the corrupt organization. But then again, they have Mastermind on their side, so the arrogance is somewhat justified.
"I am very grateful that UEIS is allied with us." Nedzu sighed before grabbing a cigar stick and lit it up with his lighter, inhaling the smoke. "To think I would be introduced to the world of magic, something that could only exist in human fiction. But then again, humans believe that superpowers like Quirks were nothing more than mere fictions 200 years ago."
Nedzu looks out the window. The sun is set as the lights on the city street start to light up.
"I wonder….does Magic and Quirk relate to each other in some ways?"

?
"That's all for today's training."
A white and red-haired boy with heterochromatic dark grey and turquoise eyes and a burn scar on his left eye can be seen lying on the floor silently glaring at the man in front of him, a spiky red-haired behemoth of a man with fire emits around his mouth, looking like a mustache. Both of them are in a training field that's covered entirely with burn marks, puddles, and ice shards.
This boy is Shoto Todoroki, and the man in front of him is Enji Todoroki, who is also known as Endeavor, the number 2 Hero and the boy's supposed father. The boy can't help but find it ridiculous and silently wonders why the man never even bothers to turn it off.
"I am completely disappointed in you, boy. Once again, you maintain your rebellious phase and refuse your power." Enji says in annoyance, to which the boy replies with a grunt. "One day, you will see how useless your rebellious attitude is. Even though I wish you would open your eyes sooner or later."
"I….will never, ever use your damn fire…" Shoto grits his teeth as he shakily gets off the floor. The man simply stares at the boy before letting out an annoyed grunt and turns around to see a young white-haired woman with some traces of crimson-colored hair and a turquoise-colored eye standing behind the door.
"Fuyumi, go treat your brother." The man says before he walks through the door. The young woman, Fuyumi, merely nods before approaching Shoto. Shoto tries to push her away, but he trips and almost falls if not for her.
"Easy, Shoto," Fuyumi says before helping Shoto as they walk to a nearby bench. Fuyumi grabs the first-aid kit next to the bench and starts treating his injuries. "Father was too harsh today."
"That's how he always is," Shoto mutters in disdain as Fuyumi looks at him in sadness. "Why is it that you never hate him, Fuyumi-nee?"
"I…..I do share you and Natsuo's resentment towards Father." Fuyumi says, which made Shoto raise his eyebrow. "But….deep down, I hope he could change…"
"You're too hopeful. A man like him will never change." Shoto retorts. "It will require hell to freeze over for him to change, which is never."
"…..it's not wrong to be hopeful," Fuyumi says as she treats her brother's burn on his right arm.
"He put Mom in a hospital for his mistake." Shoto growls in anger. "I will never forgive him for that."
"Shoto…." Fuyumi mutters in sadness. She can't help but be heartbroken at how much of a mess this family has become. First is the death of her older brother, then her father grows harsher towards Shoto after he gains his quirk, followed up with her mother injuring Shoto, and then, Natsuo moves out of the house. She knows the issues, but she keeps wishing that someday it will change. She hates how much her little brothers are so angry and hateful.
After finishing her treatment, Shoto mutters out a 'thanks' before walking out of the door. Fuyumi can't help but be sad, wondering if they could ever have quality time together as siblings. She still remembers how she always watched her father drag Shoto away for training and Shoto walked out with injuries.
Shoto walks into his room before slamming the door loudly. He sighs before he sits down on the floor, looking at the moon through his window. He always hates his father, who only cares about his job and nothing more. He knows his father only 'cares' about him because he's a tool for him to surpass the number 1 Hero, All Might, nothing more, nothing less. All of the 'training' he had to endure, every time he was forced to stay away from his siblings, all of them was for the sake of his 'father's' dream. He hates it, and he hates that there's nothing he can do about it.
"Oh, there is, child." Shoto felt a chill travel through his spine when he heard the voice and frantically looked around his room, wondering who was foolish enough to barge into the Number 2 Hero's house. He may hate his father, but there's no denying that his father is a powerful hero. "If that man counts as 'powerful', then I believe you human stands no chance."
"Who's there!?" The boy asks, ice crawling from his hand. Out of nowhere, a dark aura emerges right in front of him, a pair of cold blue eyes appear from the darkness, staring right at his soul. Shoto couldn't help but be nervous, his entire life he had to face his father, silently fear the man and whatever he could do to him anytime. But, that fear is pale in comparison to what he's currently feeling.
"No need to be nervous, child. I am not your enemy." The entity speaks in a sinister tone. Shoto didn't need a lie detector to know that's a lie, especially given how he didn't bother to hide his sinister tone.
"Who are you…?" Shoto asks, trying to hide his fear.
"You can call me Sillad." The entity replies.
"W-what do you want?" Shoto asks, pushing down his fear.
"I was traveling around this plane to seek those with great strength, and I was hoping I could grant them more strength," The entity speaks in a sweet tone, but Shoto doesn't trust the entity a bit. "However, much to my disappointment, no one in this world fit this criteria. That is until I managed to find you. A perfect one, if I say so myself. If you accept, you will gain the strength to beat your….father…."
"Tempting, but I want nothing to do with you and whatever 'strength' you can grant me," Shoto scowls. "I will beat him myself, with my mother's ice. Nothing more, nothing less."
"Oh, really?" Shoto could swear Sillad was smiling, even if he was nothing but black smoke with a pair of eyes. "What if I told you that if you accept, you can get rid of the fire you loathe so much?"
"….what?" Shoto mutters, eyes wide. "You're lying…"
"What do I gain by lying to you? Doing such a thing is as easy as breathing." Sillad says. "So, what do you say? Would you accept the deal? If you do, you will get rid of your 'curse', permanently."
"…." Shoto was silent before looking at Sillad, a hint of hope in his eyes, something that made Sillad gleeful. "How can I know you're not doing this as a sick cruel joke?"
"Do I look like your 'father'?" Sillad asks rhetorically. "Jokes aside, I am doing this because you have so much potential, Shoto Todoroki. You could be so much more, yet you were held back due to your resentment towards your father. I want to see Shoto Todoroki, becoming something more than just a tool for your father."
"…" Shoto looks at his left hand as a scowl forms on his mouth. He still remembers how his mother loathes his father, and how she hates his left side, mentioning how it reminds her of him. With resolute, he looks back at the entity before nodding.
"GOOD!" Without warning, Shoto felt ice crawl his left side. Widen his eyes, he tries to activate his fire out of desperation but to his shock, nothing comes out of his left hand. He tries to yell in panic, but ice immediately crawls into his body.
Fuyumi suddenly feels the house becoming colder as the fog comes out of her mouth. She was surprised before she noticed frost start to crawl out of Shoto's room. Out of worry, she rushes towards the room, pushing the door open. She can't help but widen her eyes in shock. Shoto's appearance changed, his red hair turned white, his turquoise left eye turned dark grey, his scars disappeared, his skin turned paler, and his ear turned slightly sharp.
"S-Shoto…?" Fuyumi mutters in shock. Shoto let out a sigh, cold fog emitting out of his mouth before looking at his sister, his eyes glowing slightly.
"Hi, Fuyumi-nee."
