Luke, Ashoka, Mara and General Cracken were back on the Mon Remonda. They needed to contact Coruscant about the discovery they found the day before. They already had Tionne present via halo projection. They were now waiting for Leia. It was another few minutes before she appeared.
"General Cracken, I was surprised to hear from you so soon. Is your mission finished already. I expected it to last much longer."
"Madam, we are not done here. We are contacting you because of a discovery inside the vault that held Jedi artifacts."
Leia looked around to all those present and did not like what she saw. Though she was surprised to see Ashoka. "OK General, give me the bad news and tell me what other resources you need."
"Ashoka would you or Master Skywalker like to explain?"
"Leia, off the main part of the vault we found another door. It had a symbol I did not recognize but Ashoka did. The symbol of the Inquisitors."
"That is not something I would have expected there. From what I know Vader did not care for the Inquisitors. He look down on them."
"We don't believe he knew the room was there. We believe that Palpatine had the room placed there." Mara informed Leia.
"Mara, you knew more of what was going on in the palace then any of us."
"Palpatine never trusted anyone. It is a real possibility that Palpatine knew of the vault and how little Vader visited it. He may have kept him busy enough so he would not have time."
"OK, we will assume Vader didn't know about it but do we know for sure."
"Yes, if Anikin knew of it he would have told me when he sent me there. I can not see a reason he would not have told me knowing what we found."
"What did you find?" Leia asked fearing the worse.
"We found 10 individuals frozen in carbonite. 2 were adults and 8 children." Ashoka informed the Chief of State.
Leia could not believe what she just heard. "What is the status of them all?"
"At the best we can tell all of them are still alive." Cracken told her. We brought them right up to the cruiser and to medical yesterday. The medical teams are worried about unfreezing them on the ship. We are not really equipped for this."
"I can send a medica frigate to you right away. Luke, do you need me to send a ship to bring Cilghal. I can have Han pick her up."
"No she is already here and with them now but she has never heard of anyone being frozen other than Han or this long."
"OK, I will talk with Admiral Ackbar and have a medical ship sent right away. I will see if we have anyone who might be able to help and get them out there as fast as I can."
"Thank you, we will be heading back to the surface. I expect it to take a few days to recover everything and transport it aboard the Mon Remonda."
"Very ell General keep me posted."
"Yes Madam."
Leia disconnected and the group on the ship sat back in the chairs they were sitting in. "I am not sure I want them going to Coruscant. If word gets out about this the media will be all over the medical center, we take them to. We need to take them some place where they can be brought out of hibernation that is quieter and more peaceful."
"I would suggest Lothal, but I'm not sure we could keep it quiet even there." Ashoka told them.
"What about Yavin, I know the medical center there is not very large but it will be quiet there and the media would never make it planet side. Especially if the military had a few ships keep the space above Yavin 4 clear."
"It would be the best place; except we don't have the medical equipment there."
"I know Luke, but we do know someone who could get it and have its setup for us by the time we get there."
"Your speaking of Karrde. That might work. He can be trusted and would know where to get what was needed. He might even be able to help secure Yavin 4 from space. This could help hide what is going on. If Yavin had war ships setting up a blockade, word might get out. Karrde having ships there wont." suggested Cracken.
"OK Mara, contact Karrde after you find out all what we need. Tell Karrde I will pay him when I see him next. Let him know why and ask if he knows anyone that might help and can keep quiet."
Mara nodded and headed out. Luke turned to Cracken. "When the medical friget gets here I will be leaving with it. Along with Cilghal and probably Mara. Ashoka, if you want to come you are more then welcome."
"I will. I believe I know who one of the adults is and surprised he is alive."
Luke asked "Who do you believe it to be?"
"Master Mace Windu. He was a member of the Jedi High Council and one of the Jedi Masters who tried to arrest Palpatine."
Ashoka then went o to tell them of what she had learned all that happen all those years ago. They all listen with great interest at what Ashoka had found out about that day. Even Cracken did not know. He knew who Master Windu was but not how he supposed to have died. Mara knew of him but like Cracken didn't know all what Ashoka told them.
"How is it you know all this?" Cracken asked.
"After I confronted Vader and figured out who he was I spoke to Bail Organa. He told me what he knew and directed me to Master Kenobi. Master Kenobi warned me about looking it to it but I have alays been stubborn."
"Luke, I will have everything in the Jedi vault loaded on your ship first. We will also have all the data from the data banks that were there also transferred to your ship. That way when the medical frigate gets here you will be able to head to Yavin. I only ask that you leave us some Jedi here."
"Thank you General. I will leave all but myself, Mara and Cilghal. Steen will take my place."
"I will be going with you to Yavin 4 if that is OK."
"You are more then welcome Ashoka. What will the rest of your group?"
"I will speak to them. They may head back to Lothal. We don't have a large group of Jedi but all the Masters are here."
"Worried they will be up to mischief."
"No if they are smart, we left Sabine's parents in charge."
Ashoka explained that when Countess Ursa Wren turned control of the clan over to her son that Sabine's parents moved to Lothal to be with their grandchildren. He also said they did help with instructing the younglings about galactic history and politics. Sabine's father taught history while Ursa taught politics.
Luke was intrigued. Ashoka said when they had time they could sit down and compare how each group trained their students. Luke agreed, saying he had to start from scratch and had a lot of trouble in the beginning. He as always interested in learning and finding better ways to teach. Cracken left them to their discussion and commed Hera back on the planet and passed on what was decided. She told him that she would expedite cataloging the Jedi vault and all the data and making sure that they loaded up all the data from the vault and had a copy of what they got from the fortress loaded on The Twin Moon's data storage banks.

A couple days later a medical frigate arrived with an escort. All the Jedi that wer frozen in carbonite were transferred over. Iella brought The Twin Moon up from the planet. She docked with the Mon Remonda so she could transfer back to the cruiser along with all the crew from te republic that crewed the ship while at Mustafar. Luke, Mara and Ashoka all boarded and joined up with the medical frigate.
The Starbird had left the earlier that day to head back to Lothal. Hera said she would be at Yavin in about a week. She just needed to take Ezra and Sabine back so they could check on things there. Ezra said he might join Hera on the trip to Yavin if possible.

Mara brought The Twin Moon down in the hanger at the Jedi Temple on Yavin 4. The shuttle with all the frozen Jedi landed a minute later. Luke had tld Tionne that he wanted the hanger cleared of everyone but her and Kam. Once the frozen Jedi were taken to medical then he would need all the students to start unloading the ship of all the artifacts they brought back with them They were to be put in storage till everything could be gone through.
"I can feel the excitement and curiosity through the force." Ashoka commented.
"Luke's students are always glad to see him return when he has to leave for a while, and I am sure word has spread about Karrde bringing a bunch of medical equipment in."
"I saw the Falcon parked out on the landing field also. My sister is here. She and the others are on their way to the hanger now."
"Well lets go greet them and hope things go better then your last meeting with here." Luke just gave Mara a look that see ignored.
They exited the ship just as Tionne, Kam, Leia and Hand arrived and to Mara's displeasure Lando.
"If he flirts with me again, I'm cutting him up."
Ashoka looked at Mara curiously, but Luke just laughed before taking her hand.
"Master Skywalker welcome back."
"Thank you, Tionne. This is Ashoka Tano a Jedi Master from Lothal and a survivor of order 66."
"Welcome Master Tano, I am Tionne, Jedi historian and Acadamy administrator. My husband Kam one of our instructors. Also Chief of State."
"Hello Leia, it has been a while."
"Ashoka, I was glad to know you were still alive and around."
Seeing Tionne expression. "Ashoka was part of the rebellion before I joined up. Beside my sister is my brother-in-law, Han."
Han shook her hand and welcomed her as well. "Hey kid, looks like you found more then you expected."
"We did. Tionne is everything ready?"
"Yes Master Skywalker. Karrde got everything set up with the help of Lando here."
"Lando, good to see you."
"You as well Luke. Han contacted me after he heard what you found. Since I know a little about carbon freezing."
Luke looked over as Cilghal was over seeing the unloading of the Jedi. When they were all unloaded from the shuttle she lead them and all the medical personal that would be staying to help to the medical wing.

Luke was in his office going over some things he needed to catch up on when there was a knock on his office door.
"Come in Leia."
Leia walked in and looked around the office before sitting in a chair in front of Luke's desk. Luke did not say anything, waiting on his sister to speak.
"I guess I owe you an apology for how I acted the last time we saw each other. Han and others have all told me I have been wrong about how I have acted as of late. I could make excuses but I drought you want to hear those. So, all I can do is apologize."
"I went there that day in hopes you would at least hear me out before you started. I know part of the reason you want me on Coruscant. I know you would rather see me be there to be safe but a large part of it is how you feel about the Jedi. You and others hope to have a better oversite and control of not just the Jedi but me."
Leia started to speak but Luke stopped her. "I don't want to hear it, Leia. I will tell you this. I will always do what I feel is right for the Galaxy as a whole. I have worked too hard to see the peace we have all built be ruined by those who have their own agendas.
I will also live my life as I see fit and that includes seeing who I wish regardless of how you or anyone else feels. So, you need to make a choice. Let me lead my life how I see fit, or we will never be able to heal the rift you have created in this family."
"I can only promise to try to see things from your point of view and respect your decisions. I cannot promise to agree with them all. If I don't, I will try to let you know without being to pushy."
"I respect your opinion and listen to others but it's my choice in the end good or bad."
"I can agree to that. When you have time I would like to hear how you found out who are mother is."
"I can tell you it was our father that told me. I can tell you more at a later time. With everything going on right now I don't have time. You can try to get R2 to tell you some. It seems he knew the whole time."
"WHAT, how could he not tell you. He knew you spent all those months looking into her ID."
"I know and I am not all that happy with him at the moment. I have been giving him task to do that kept him out of my sight for a while now. He knows he should have told us sooner."
"I guess he should be lucky to be in one piece still."
"Yea, I was tempted but he has a lot of information and videos. I need to have it all transferred from him to a data storage device so I ca look it over when I have time."
"If you do, I would like a copy."
"I can do that."
"Luke, without starting a fight, can you tell me what is going on with you and Mara."
"We have started seeing each other as more than friends. She completes me like no one else has."
"There are a lot of people in the government that might cause you trouble over this. They don't think that the head of the Jedi order should be involved with Palpatine's personal agent and current smuggler."
"I could care less what they all think. Mara has done a lot for the New Republic over the years and anyone who has eyes can see that Karrde's organization has moved away from that. They do more legitimate business then smuggling."
"I know but there will be those who speak out. I just wanted you to know."
"And how do you feel about it."
Leia sat there for a minute and thought about what she knew of Mara and how her brother feels. "I will be honest and say she would not have been my first choice but if she makes you happy then I can not complain. I just want you to have what I have. I figured if I found you someone I knew that you could have that and stay on Coruscant."
"Leia all those woman you tried to set me up with did not see me but the Jedi Master. None of them could have been happy with my life style."
"Han pretty much said the same thing. He even told me that if you and Mara ever opened your eyes that you both would see what of a lot of your friends saw already."
"I know I am going to get a lot of teasing from hi and Chewie. Wedge, Corran and the rest of the Rogues and Wraiths have already started."
"I will let you get back to what you are doing. When you have time I would like you to brief the Inter Council about what you all discovered on Mustafar. If you can come when Cracken gives is briefing it would be better."
"I will see what I can do. He still has a ways to go in clearing the fortress. He also plans on destroying it once he gets all he can from the place."
"Good, from what I know of the place we are better off without it. I will leave you to your work."
Leia left Luke to what he was doing and ran into Mara just after she left his office.
"Mara, how are you?"
"I'm fine. I see you and Luke talked and since I didn't feel any anger from him, I assume it went well."
"As well as can be expected. I know the two of you are together now. Luke made his feelings very clear on that."
"You don't agree." Mara said crossing her arms over her chest.
"If you asked me before. I would have said no. Now, all I care is that Luke is happy and if you can do that then I have no issues with the two of you."
Mara uncrossed her arms. "Thank you, Leia. I lover that brother of yours even if he does drive me crazy at times."
"Just take care of him Mara."
"I will."
Leia left and Mara headed to Luke's office to give him an update on the Jedi they brought back. At least she had good news on that front.

The first Jedi they decided to unfreeze was Master Windu. When they unfroze him they sedated him enough to keep him out for a few days. This was so that they could replace his hands and do a full medical check up. Once that was done Cilghal decided to put him in a healing trance for a couple days.
When she brought him out she left the room and Ashoka sat in a chair next to his bed. She watched as he slowly came to.
"Easy Master Windu. You have been asleep a very long time, but you are safe."
As he opened his eyes, he saw an Togruta adult but one he did not recognize but look familiar. "Who are you?"
"Ashoka."
"Ashoka Tano, how long has it been?"
"Over 35 years Master. A lot has happen in that time."
"Where are we?"
"Yavin 4, the home of the Jedi now."
"What happen? The last I remember was being thrown out the window of the Chanceler's office."
"It is a long story but know that Palpatine has been dead for about 14 years now."
"How long did he rule?"
"23 years. Anakin killed him in the end."
"Anakin."
"Palpatine was killing his son. It's what brought him back to the light side. He died shortly after that. I don't know the whole story as of yet. Luke and I have not had a chance to talk about it."
Windu looked at her like how have you not had time in 14 years. Seeing his expression Ashoka told him about her part in the rebellion and how she was taking care of some other things when he joined. She told Windu how she had finally met him just a little over a week ago.
"There is more to tell you but Luke is about to head back to Coruscant and would like to meet you before he has to leave."
"Whay is he heading to Corsucant?"
"He is head of the Jedi Order. Well at least the larges Jedi Order. I have been on Lotha; since the end of the Empire with a small group. We are not part of his order."
"Kinda like the Corillian Jedi."
"Yes Master. He has done a good job of rebuilding with what little he had to go on. I will tell you both orders do not follow the old code. You may not agree but hear Luke out first before you critisize him. He has done a great job from what I know."
"I guess everything has changed. I will hear him out but I figure that talk will have to wait."
"Yes. Like I said he has to be at Corsucant to brief the Ruling Council on the mission that lead to us finding you and 9 others, 8 of which are children."
"I guess it is another long story I will need to wait on."
"Yes, Cilghal will have our heads if we don't let you get some rest. We still have others to bring out of carbon freezing. You were the first."
The room door opened and it was not Luke that waked in but Mara. "Sorry to interupt but I wanted to let you know Ashoka that there is a problem. Seems that a senator that was informed of what the meeting with General Cracken and Luke was about said something in the wrong place and was overheard. The media now as the story."
"I guess it is a good thing we did not go to Coruscant."
"What is going to happen to keep things safe here?"
"Luke is talking with Cracken right now. He was furious when he found out. He also as Leia on as well. She wants to send a fleet out her but Luke told her that Karrde had enough ships plus what fighters Luke had here.
Luke did tell me before he asked me to give his reguards to you Master Windu that Leia is insisting on sending some Nogori here. It seems when they heard what happen from Leia's guards that that they insisted on helping protect the acadamy."
Mara explained the history between the Solo/Skywalker family and the Nogori people. She explained they were a lot like the Wokiees when it came to the whole life debt thing.
When Windu started to get tired the two women left. Ashoka would remain around medical for when each of the Jedi frozen were revived, while Mara had to finish getting Luke's ship ready for departure.
