Prompt: "Can you please go be stupid somewhere that's away from me?"
Jacoba knew she was growling. She was really regretting her choice of going to the hanger to get some of the research and paper work, which Barney had asked her to go over, right now. Normally, she would be alright, since most of the "Newbies" (as she tended to call the lot of them) tended to avoid her desk after the team had returned from the whole Stonebanks debacle. Which she was most definitely fine with, because that meant nor distractions.
That didn't seem to be the case today, however. She had been working, quietly, for about ten minutes. Maybe. It wasn't like she was paying attention to the time or anything. Soo, she could see another presence approaching her desk, taking a seat on the chair across from her. She would have (successfully) ignored them if they hadn't spoken up. That was now thirty minutes ago, and she was growling.
"Ms. Amazon?"
Jacoba breathed in deeply, closing her eyes as she did so. Opening her eyes again and glaring at the man in front of her, Jacoba breathed out before narrowing her eyes. "Galgo, I told you to not call me that, for one. Now what?"
"You seem to be annoyed. That reminds me of a time with my old team. You know…"
"Galgo!" There weren't many times that Jacoba raised her voice or yelled, yet she seemed to do more of that since Galgo had joined the team. "I have been attempting to do research and paperwork for Barney for the last almost hour. And for the last half hour or so, I have been unable to do this work, because all of my attention had been diverted elsewhere. By you. So, please, can you go be stupid somewhere that's away from me? I need to get this done."
"Congrats, little man." Both people at the desk turned to see Caesar and Doc standing not far away (both attempting to not laugh) with Gunnar shaking his head behind them. Caesar continued, "You have officially gotten your first Amazon rant."
As Caesar ignored the glare (and loud growl) that came from Jacoba, Doc inclined his head at his (defacto) partner. "Come on, Galgo. Let's leave this beautiful woman alone. We need to do some weapons training anyway."
Gunnar made his way over to Jacoba as Caesar and Doc guided the now chattering Galgo out of the hanger. He placed a kiss on her brow before leaning back against her desk. "Barn heard him yammering your ear off and called me. He figured that you'd about reached your breaking point. I ran into the guys on my way in; they were actually looking for the chatterbox."
Jacoba scoffed before smiling up at her man. "I love you."
"Love you too."
