Chapter Five

Concerned

Earlier in the evening back at the farmhouse, the Hamato Clan, April and Casey were sitting outside, completely oblivious to where Pandora and Kemeko were.

Monalisa, Splinter and April were deep in conversation about a soap opera they followed, whilst Casey and the turtles were playing with a soccer ball.

"Passing through! I'm gonna score!" Casey shouted as he dribbled the ball, but he cried out as he saw Raphael slide over and catch the ball tripping him up as he did so!

"Nope!" the red masked turtle crowed "Balls mine!"

"Hey! That was a foul!" Casey shouted at Raphael who just dribbled the ball away towards Donatello who was attempting to block a goal area.

Monalisa chuckled as she saw her mate and his best friend argue then looked at April who was talking.

"...and yeah, no doubt it's gonna be revealed in tonight's episode!" April laughed "Oh boy does Johnny have no idea what's coming!"

"Well, Martin has the beans ready to be spilt!" Splinter said with a smirk "And at the wedding too!"

"It'll shoot him down for sure!" Monalisa said, yet as she did, she heard a booming in the distance, and she frowned.

"Did you hear that?" she asked.

April and Splinter also looked curious, and Splinter pricked up his ears.

"Hear what?" he asked.

It was then another booming was heard in the distance then Splinter frowned harder.

"What was that?" he asked.

April stood up and looked towards were the sound was coming from and she also saw some flashes of light through the trees, but it was a long way away and she couldn't identify what it was.

"Hey, I just saw something through those trees!" she said pointing.

"What can you see?" Splinter asked squinting as well as brought his paw up to his brow.

Monalisa turned to the turtles and Casey.

"Guys!" she called over "Guys! Time out!"

Upon hearing the lizard lady, the turtles and Casey stopped kicking the ball around and looked over.

"What's wrong Mona?" Leonardo asked walking over to her.

"There seems to be some strange activity down there in the woods!" Monalisa said.

As she spoke, another booming was heard, and April soon saw a firey explosion appear above the trees making her and the others jump in shock.

"The Shell?" Michelangelo asked then his eyes widened "Oh crap! The girls!"

It was then the others realised and remembered Kemeko and Pandora going down there about over an hour ago.

"Oh shit!" Raphael shouted.

"Pandora!" Monalisa shrieked.

"Kemeko!" Leonardo yelled.

"Come on!" Donatello shouted and grabbing his bo staff ran on ahead and the others followed suite, the other turtles and Monalisa grabbing their weapons and Casey picked up his hockey stick and golf club.

"What the shell is going on down there?" Raphael shouted.

"I don't know!" Leonardo barked "But whatever it is we need to get Pandora and Kemeko away from there!"

Donatello took out his shell cell to see if he could track the girls, yet to his horror he couldn't see their signals on the screen!

He didn't have a chance to inform the others for they soon arrived at the same place where Pandora, Kemeko and Optimus had been earlier, and they soon saw the rock formation with the blue crystals along with three giant robots who had been firing their guns towards the side of the woods and one was getting up from when he had been shot down earlier.

The group stopped dead in their tracks as they looked up at the giant robots who had stopped firing.

"Blast!" the grey one cursed "He got away!"

"We should move away too Lord Starscream." one of the black robots said, "The gunfire will have attracted the attention of the fleshlings! And Lord Megatron will be wanting us at the caves with the offline Autobot soon!"

The turtles, Monalisa, Splinter, April and Casey stared in horror.

"You guys seeing what I'm seeing?" Michelangelo squeaked.

"Pinch me!" Donatello said, "I'm dreaming!"

"I can't believe my eyes!" Leonardo cried.

"Me neither Fearless!" Raphael commented as he placed his finger against the tip of his sai, and Monalisa did the same with the tip of her bladed fan.

"This is impossible!" Splinter muttered.

"That meat must have been spiked!" April commented.

"No, it wasn't!" Casey protested "At least I'm sure it wasn't!"

On impulse the turtles and Monalisa pulled out their weapons even though those robots before them were more than five times their height and with guns!

"Well, this is no dream!" Monalisa stated "And those robots before us are real!"

"Where are the girls?" April asked in a panicked voice as she looked around then she saw the grey robot look in their direction and on impulse she screamed in shock.

"What!?" the grey robot asked furiously as he saw the turtles, Monalisa, Splinter, April and Casey looking at them "More annoying fleshlings?"

The other robots looked over at the group where Casey had clapped his hand over his wife's mouth and the others were staring in horror.

Leonardo was quick to react, and he placed his swords back on his back as he knew they stood no chance in a fight against these giant robots.

"Guys! Run!" he shouted and grabbed Raphael and Splinter who in turn grabbed Monalisa and Michelangelo to pull them along.

Donatello at the same time agreed and grabbed April and Casey to run back into the woods.

"Decepticons!" Starscream shouted "Terminate them!"

Back at the Autobot base, Pandora and Kemeko were telling Optimus and the other Autobots about who they were and where they came from.

They didn't tell them their grandfather and parents origin story as they knew they couldn't tell it as well and as detailed as Splinter, nor Kemeko's background, nor did they speak of their friends and extended family in Mutopia, only that theym apart from Kemeko were mutants who hid from the humans, and for as long as they could remember that they lived in the New York City Sewers and how they had been raised to be ninjas and fought crime and evil doers from the shadows.

"So yeah," Pandora said, "We're a family of mutant superheroes, we live in New York City in the deep sewers and fight crime at night!"

"That is indeed intriguing." Optimus said.

"You wouldn't believe the adventures we've had!" Pandora continued excitedly.

Arcee looked over at Bumblebee who was looking rather fascinated, and he bleeped and whirred at the girls.

Pandora and Kemeko looked at each other confused until Arcee translated what he said.

"Bee said he's watched your Earth cartoon shows since we arrived here and he loves the superhero ones, but he never imagined they would be real."

Pandora chuckled.

"Well, believe it Bee!" she said clicking her tongue and pointing her fingers at him.

Bumblebee whirred and bleeped again.

"He says he wants to know all your stories." Ironhide translated "And I have to say I'm fascinated too!"

"Me too!" Bulkhead agreed.

Kemeko nodded and was about to speak when Ratchet's computers bleeped, and everyone looked over.

"Scrap." Ratchet cursed "Starscream and his minions are still in the same area you picked up the girls." He reported "And they're in action!"

"They are?" Pandora asked then she and Kemeko went pale as they thought about their family and took out their phones.

As they did, they saw there was no signal, nor a Wi-Fi connection so they couldn't contact the Hamato Clan.

"You mean they're attacking?" Pandora asked then she held up her phone "We gotta warn them! But there's no signal here!"

Optimus frowned.

"Ratchet!" he ordered Activate the ground bridge to the previous co-ordinates!"

Ratchet pushed a lever on the control panel and the blue and green vortex appeared before them and Optimus turned to the others.

"Autobots!" he said, "Roll out!" he then turned to Ratchet "Stay with the girls!"

"Me?!" Ratchet squawked.

"Stay here?!" Pandora cried indignantly but Optimus looked at the young hybrid "We'll stop the Deceptions young one." He said, "But it's too dangerous for you two to come along, we will return soon!"

So saying, he ran to the ground bridge and transformed before driving through it with the others following him.

Ratchet groaned and rolled his optics.

"Why's it always me?" he muttered before turning to Pandora and Kemeko who were staring at where the ground bridge had been only seconds ago.

"What are you gaping at?" he asked.

"What was that?" Kemeko exclaimed pointing at where the ground-bridge had been.

"A ground bridge." Ratchet replied rolling his eyes, "A scaled down version of spacebridge technology."

Kemeko grinned.

"Awesome!"

"We can only use it to travel around on this planet, as we don't currently possess the means or energon required for intergalactic travel."

"Does it work for humans, or mutants?" Pandora asked.

"Naturally." Ratchet said, "After all, Optimus transported you two through it didn't he? When he saved you."

"Oh yeah!" Pandora remembered looking at Kemeko who looked slightly sheepish then she turned to Ratchet again.

"So we could just go anywhere in the world through that?" Kemeko asked "Like to the other side of the planet?"

"Even as far as Japan?" Pandora asked, "Or the Antarctic?"

"Within moments!" Ratchet said leaning towards Pandora a rather wicked glint in his optic.

"In fact!" he said in an almost too eager voice "Allow me to send you there immediately, the both of you!"

"Watch it Ratchet!" Pandora warningly countered wagging the tip of her tail at him and an awkward silence followed with the giant Autobot and Pandora staring each other down.

Kemeko decided to break the silence and put her hands on Pandora's shoulders.

"Ooookay!" she said hoping to stop what could be a bust up between the two and she grinned at Ratchet.

"Hey Ratchet, why don't you explain spacebridge technology to us? We'd love to hear how it works? Right Pandora?" she nudged her hybrid cousin who nodded in agreement yet still gave Ratchet the sideways glance.

Ratchet looked back at Pandora then looked at Kemeko who grinned and put her hands together almost like she was pleading.

"Please!" she begged "I'd love to see it!"

Ratchet cocked his head looking at the Asian Girl and he sighed.

"Alright." He said turning to the controls and he started to point things out.

Pandora turned to the area where the ground bridge had appeared and she looked at her shell cell, hoping her parents, Uncles, aunt, and grandfather were alright.

So the action from earlier alerted the rest of the Hamato Clan and they've gone to investigate, only to be confronted by Starscream! Uh oh!

But luckily Ratchet's picked up on the Decepticon's signals and Optimus and the team are on the way!
