Chapter Fifty-Five

New Arrangements and Alliances

After ten minutes, Fowler soon came out of his faint, and he sat up.

"Awww man." He said "I feel so drained..."

"Give how many times you've fainted I'm not surprised!" Hugh stated looking down at Fowler as he rubbed his forward.

"Uuggh, I think I might need a stronger drink when I get home tonight." He said then shook his head and looked up at Tyroth and Sephie.

"Okay, so I've seen what you can do and I'm gonna have to deal with it." He said "Even if it does make my brain hurt..." he muttered.

"Look mate, we can understand you're overwhelmed." Tyroth said "I know I would be if I witnessed my powers."

The others agreed.

"I felt like I was gonna blow a gasket seeing what you do!" Bulkhead admitted "And I was surprised at how the Hamato Clan had amazing skills, and the girls too, especially with Pandora's silks skills and Kemeko's bendiness!"

"You have delivered many surprises to us." Optimus agreed "And I feel comforted to know that one such as yourself is an ally and not an enemy."

Tyroth gave a proud smile looking up at the Prime.

Fowler cleared his throat as he looked at Tyroth.

"There is one more thing I would like to ask Dragon." He said, "Is how do you possess such abilities, this magic?"

Tyroth looked rather sheepish.

"That Agent Fowler has always been a mystery to us since the day I first mutated, as the Well's properties has been studied by Donatello and by our medics and scientists back home, yet through thorough investigation, it still remains unknown how it works."

"In a way, Tyroth was unique when the water gave him his new form." Sephie said with a smile.

"I remember Jake telling me that Amber said that the water chooses the animal form based on the spirit of that person, yet she still isn't quite certain." Monalisa spoke up as she thought of her human brother in Mutopia who hadn't mutated, as he hadn't needed to when he arrived as he wasn't on the brink of death and had a free choice whether to mutate or not.

Sephie nodded in agreement.

"She's not wrong," she said then looked at Fowler "But as Tyroth was saying, the water grants us more strength, dexterity and faster healing than that of the humans, even longer living."

"Really?" Fowler asked as he sipped his tea, and everyone wondered if he would pass out again, but he just stayed still and continued to listen as Sephie and Tyroth spoke about the dragon's powers.

"I still have no idea how I gained them, nor how they have developed over the years, all I know is that in essence, within my soul, I have an energy source that allows me to reshape reality to a degree, yet right now it's mostly limited to some basic things, like enhancing my strength, pyrokinesis, and a few other things."

"I... see..." Fowler spoke taking another sip of Jasmine tea and once again everyone wondered whether he would pass out again, but he didn't and the Hamato Clan and the Autobots didn't know whether to be proud that he didn't or a little bummed as it had been rather funny to watch.

"Also when we mutated into the animal we became." Sephie said "We did gain the abilities of said animal, for example I'm a gecko, and I have a special gecko grip!"

As she spoke, Sephie went over to the lift and started to climb up it almost like Spiderman!

"Whoo! There goes Gecko girl!" Michelangelo cheered.

Monalisa gave a mock frown.

"I am a little envious I don't have that grip although I can grip a lot better when I'm climbing!" she chuckled.

"Well I'll be a Bald Eagle!" Fowler said blinking.

"You should see what the others can do!" Pandora chuckled "When you get to meet them!"

"Not now Pandora." Tyroth said looking at his niece in spirit "We must not speak of the others right now."

"What do you mean Uncle T?" Pandora asked.

"Right now, we must take things slow." Tyroth said "We must not speak of this to the other Knights, or the Mutopians about this matter?"

"You mean I still can't tell Kate?" Michelangelo asked, "I already feel bad that I'm lying to her!"

"You're not exactly lying to her Mike." Donatello spoke up "Just withholding certain truths."

"Same thing though, right?" Pandora asked with a shrug.

"Regardless Geisha." Tyroth said "I request that we do not speak of this until the time is right, as we do not wish to cause more problems."

"And the dragon is right." Optimus agreed "I do not wish to inflict more complications right now, nor involve more to know of our existence if it means creating difficulties."

"But Optimus." Kemeko spoke up "It's not like the Mutopians are human, as far as the humans are concerned, they don't exist, as Fowler is making sure the humans don't know who you guys are?"

"She's got a point!" Pandora said.

"No girls." Leonardo and Raphael spoke at the same time surprising each other that they spoke in stereo as well as agreed on what they were going to say to their daughters as it was rare given how they had clashed heads a few times on their ideas and opinions in the past.

Kemeko and Pandora looked over at their fathers.

"Tyroth is right." Leonardo said, "We must keep this quiet until the time is right."

Raphael nodded.

"As Optimus said, we don't want to complicate things."

"Wow man!" Michelangelo said to Donatello "Never thought I'd see Leo and Raph agree on something at the same time."

"Rare for sure!" Donatello agreed.

"It would seem that since becoming fathers, they do need to be on the same page regarding the children." Splinter spoke up "And I am proud of them for that."

Just then Tyroth clapped his paws bringing everyone's attention to him and Sephie had jumped off the lift to join her husband.

"So, are we in agreement we keep this between us until we feel the time is right to speak to the others about what has transpired?" Tyroth asked.

"We agree!" The Hamato Clan said in unison and Michelangelo, Kemeko and Pandora if not a little reluctant agreed as well.

"I still wish I could tell Kate." Michelangelo muttered.

"And we Sonia, Freya and Loki." Pandora said nudging Michelangelo with her elbow.

"I too will keep quiet." Hugh said, "As I made my vow to keep your existence a secret." He said to Tyroth and Sephie who nodded at him in thanks.

"I will still need to inform my superiors." Fowler spoke up "About your existence like I did with the Hamato clan."

"We understand Agent Fowler." Sephie said "As is your duty."

Tyroth looked a little uncomfortable despite being told of what had happened when Leonardo and Monalisa had met with Fowler's superiors, but he trusted them completely and he hoped that once he had informed Mutopia they would trust him too since they were fearful of anyone knowing of their existence after Diablo's betrayal, and the Raven and his Disciples was one story they hadn't yet told Fowler either.

"I will arrange a time and date for you to meet with my superiors." Fowler said, "And like they agreed to make sure the Hamato Clan stay under Government Protection they should do the same for you, given your unknown services to the humans in Chicago."

"I hope so Fowler." Tyroth said, then he narrowed his eyes.

"I care deeply for those I love, whether they be my kin, my friends, or allies, and I will protect them by all means necessary, and pray to Odin if one does the unthinkable..." as he spoke, a fireball appeared in his hand and Fowler felt the sweat form on his forehead.

"In other words, you wouldn't want him as an enemy mate!" Michelangelo whispered to the agent.

"Noted!" Fowler said.

Sephie placed her hand on Tyroth's arm.

"I think he got the message hun." She said then she looked at her Shell-Cell and she paled.

"Oh Gosh!" she said, "It's almost 4am back in Chicago and the Knights will be wanting to meet back soon!"

Tyroth was snapped back to reality when he heard that.

"By Odin yes!"

"You have a deadline?" Optimus asked looking down at the Dragon and Gecko to which they both nodded.

"And so do I!" Hugh spoke up "I have to report back, then it's the end of my shift."

"Then allow me to take you back to Chicago myself." Optimus offered.

"Thank you so much!" Sephie said "We would appreciate that greatly."

"I'll join you!" Leonardo volunteered.

"Can someone give me a ride home as well?" Fowler asked looking at the Autobots hopefully.

"I will" Ironhide spoke up "I'll drive you home."

"Thanks!" Fowler said then looked at Tyroth, Sephie and Hugh.

"It was nice meeting you." He said before handing them each a card with his details.

"Pleasure to meet you too." Sephie smiled then handed him a sheet of paper with her shell-cell number which the agent took gratefully.

"Thanks." Fowler said, "I'll be in touch."

After saying their goodbyes to everyone, Leonardo, Tyroth and Sephie climbed into Optimus's truck form and Ratchet activated the Ground Bridge to take them back to Chicago.

Ratchet sighed as he pulled the lever and Optimus drive through it with his passengers.

"Oh joy..." he muttered "Looks like we're going to have more guests in this base."

"Oh, don't be a Rust bucket Ratchet!" Ironhide quipped "Ever heard the human saying, 'The More the Merrier?"

Ratchet grumbled again and snorted.

"I don't think he'll ever think that!" Bulkhead spoke up.

"Agreed!" Arcee said "But in the meantime, who's up for that High Grade?"

"Count me in!" Bulkhead said rubbing his servos in anticipation and Bumblebee bleeped in agreement.

"Hold a darn moment!" Ironhide said "Let me drop Fowler off home and wait for Optimus to return then we can break it out!"

"For thing Ironhide." Arcee said with a wink and a chuckle.

Meanwhile Optimus drove through the Ground Bridge and into a large alleyway so they couldn't be seen and let his passengers out.

As they got out, the mutants and Hugh looked around to make sure no-one was watching, and Leonardo turned to his friends.

"Hey guys, I don't know what to say, only that I'm sorry for the big surprise, we didn't intend for it to be this way."

"Hey, don't trouble yourself Leo." Sephie comforted "What happened wasn't your fault."

"You've made some pretty good allies." Tyroth said "And we look forward to being part of your circle should you need us."

"And us as well Tyroth." Optimus's voice was heard from his truck form "I look forward to meeting your allies soon, when the time is right."

"Thanks Optimus!" Tyroth said patting the front of Optimus's truck form in gratitude "And I thank you for looking after my dear friends,"

"My pleasure." Optimus replied.

"Keep us updated on anything that happens alright Leo?" Tyroth reminded the blue masked turtle "And I'm sure Fowler will inform us soon on when he wants us to meet his bosses?"

"He will." Leonardo promised "And he will keep to his word that whatever happens, Mutopia will be safe."

"We trust you, Leo." Sephie said with a smile and nodded her head.

"We do!" Hugh said, "And I thank you for informing me, and as I promised, I won't speak a word of what's happened."

Tyroth then got on his knees and Hugh climbed onto his back then he stood up and held out his arms to Sephie and scooped her into his arms bridal style.

"Stay safe my friend." Tyroth said "And keep us informed at every turn."

"We will." Leonardo and Optimus said together to which Leonardo jumped slightly "And like we agreed, we won't speak to the others of what has taken place."

Tyroth nodded to Leonardo then opened his wings and took off with Hugh and Sephie up out of the alleyway and into the night.

Leonardo watched them until they disappeared over the rooftops and out of sight.

They stood there for a few moments before Optimus spoke.

"They seem a very loyal group of friends." He said, "You are indeed privileged."

"I am yes Prime." Leonardo said as he climbed into Optimus's truck form "From the day I met them, I have never felt so lucky, having someone who shares the same situation as myself, as a leader."

He settled into Optimus's front seat and the Prime did a few manoeuvres before starting to drive out of the alleyway.

"I look forward to knowing your dragon friend and his allies better Leonardo." Optimus said, "They sound like promising warriors we can rely on."

"Oh, believe me Prime." Leonardo spoke with a small smile "You won't regret it, I promise."

Tyroth and Sephie have spoken more about who they are and shown their skills and Fowler has decided to get them to meet his superiors, it'l be interesting to see how that goes!

Now, I'm sure some of you who watch the 'Prime' show are wondering why I haven't written the Speed Metal Episode, and that's because it focused on the humans in the show and because I swapped them with the Hamato Clan, it was pretty much void, thus I replaced it with Tyroth and Sephie meeting the Autobots.

But now I'll be moving onto another episode now and I'm sure a lot of you know what it is, but as well as that I'll be adding a few plots of my own! So watch this space!
