Taylor watches as a shadowy figure appears, she soon said, "It has been a long time, Shade," she paused, opened her arms and said, "And I am ready to see what vision you will show me."

Shade nodded, and charged right to Taylor as she embraces the darkness.

At first Taylor saw nothing, but then she sees a big bizarre looking castle on a cliff that looked like it could crumble down from it, and behind it was a huge orange moon. She then heard a machine being turned on and powering up, but then something felt wrong as there was an explosion causing one of the castle rooks to blow its roof off with smoke, despite the roof fell back into place and smoke coming from the window. Suddenly a bat appeared and flew to the castle, along with the rest of his cauldron. The bats flew past a window, while one looked at the window but then rejoins his cauldron, where a shadow was moving around until it reached a door that said above it 'SCHEMATIC ROOM' though the R was backwards as the shadow enters the area.

The door opens and a hook looks around, though she does see what looks like monitor. The shadow enters the room, then closed the door, making the room pitch black. All Taylor saw at first was a pair of yellow eyes, and heard some whimpering and grunting, until it turned on the monitor, revealing the person the third guard described him, a short hunchbacked man with old looking cloths and hooks instead of hands.

The person looks at the monitor as a brain with two eyes appeared on the monitor, which Taylor knows is Dr. Neurosis, Fear Clan member number eleven. He looks at the hooked hunchback, and said, "Fritz. Something is wrong, Fritz," Neurosis, paused, and said, "Fetch me schematic thirteen, Fritz," the hunchback, Fritz, looks at the schematics, but was scared since he does know which one is thirteen, then Neurosis said, "The red one," Fritz now knows what he meant, and pulls it out, with other schematics with it which fall to the floor, as Neurosis continues, "Once I have corrected this minor annoyance, I shall go on to execute my master plan in the name of Nosfearatu," Fritz lays out schematic on a table with a candle on it, as Neurosis laughs, then instructs, "Follow the transverse directional rectifier," Frits puts his hook on an area with an orange bat then used his hook, which ripped the schematic when Neurosis said, "Go right," Fritz moved and ripped the schematic until he went to a spider, but Neurosis said, "No, right, you fool, right!" Fritz eventually reached a skull with bolts on both side of it, yellow eyes, and in its mouth a red bulb that said DIE ODE. Once Fritz reached there, ripping the bulb, Neurosis gasped, and said, "Oh no," he was annoyed, thinks and said, "I'm going to need a proper repairman," Fritz looks at a bug, and tries to get it, ripping the schematic in the progress, as Neurosis said, "A computer expert," he laughs as Fritz catches the bug, and was about to put in his mouth until his master said, "Fritz!" Fritz stops, looks at his master a bit, then eats the bug as Neurosis commands, "You must prepare for his arrival," Fritz then closes the schematic, and shakes it as if he was strangling it, puts it away, which caused more schematics to fall off a high shelf, burying him in it while Neurosis says, "Lead our witty participant into a small sense of security," he pauses, then said, "And then, despite it might cause me to lose the power Nosfearatu gave me, you'll know what to do!" he then laughs, while Fritz pops out of the pile of schematics, thinks, then smiles, since he does know, as he takes out a knife and puts it on his left hand, replacing the hook, and cuts the top of the candle on the table, turning off the lights, and everything was dark.

At first Taylor saw nothing, but then sees some green smoke that took the shape of a skull, but it soon disappeared. Next, she sees a little green worm with orange hair, which looks behind it and sees a spider, causing the worm to run for it. While that was happening, she heard a door open, while hearing Fritz's grunts, followed by the voice of a man, who said, "Hiya pal! I'm Lance from Computer Town," The worm scurries but turned to get out of the way of the smoke, while the spider wasn't so lucky as the man, Lance explains, "Sorry I'm a bit late, had trouble finding the place," the spider looks at Taylor, then holds its front legs to his throat, as Lance said, "So, your network's down, huh?" the spider jumps off, as Lance said, "Ah, there she is," the worm came back but sees the smoke again and tries to get away from it while Lance said, "Well, no problem, sir, I can fix anything," soon a hatch was opened, and the smoke went out away from the worm, saving it. Its savior was a young man with long, orange hair, a blue shirt with green short sleeves, a dark green vest and a purple, red, and blue baseball cap. He looks at the machine, was shocked and mumble, "Oh man, what a piece of junk," he looks around and asked, "Okay, what have we got here," he looks around a huge machine with a monitor, with Taylor seeing he is wearing a pair of grey pants and red shoes, as Fritz was right next him as he said, "A triple transducing capacitator," he looks more while Fritz looks at him a bit, as he said, "A digital coupling connected to," he then looks annoyed, while Taylor was disgusted as Fritz used his left hook hand to pick his nose to get a ball of booger, as Lance said, "Oh man, surprise, surprise," he sees something sparking and near it was the body of the spider that died from the green smoke as Lance said, "A burned out diode," Fritz was about to eat the booger when Lance asked, "Got any gum, sir?" He sees the booger, takes it, and said, "Cool, thanks," putting the booger into the area, while causing Fritz to whimper. Once the booger was on the diode, an electrical current, powering the machine. Lance then writes down and calculating things while Fritz moves out of the view and begins bowing as the machine powers up along with the monitor, which shows Neurosis looking down and laughing. Lance then said, "It comes to $22.50," he looks at Fritz then asked, "And who shall I bill this out to?"

"Dr. Neurosis," the brain replied, causing Lance to look up on the screen to see him, then introduced himself again, "Dr. Nero Neurosis!"

Taylor would think he would be scared, but Lance wasn't he just smirked, then asked while putting away his pen and notepad, "You ain't one of those mad disembodied scientist guys bent on taking over the world, are you?"

Neurosis was shocked, and asked in interest, "How did you know?"

Fritz kept on bowing as Lance replies, "Man, I played a lot of video games, and I know an average..."

Fritz then stops bowing in shock as Neurosis asked, "Average?" as Fritz then gets up and runs out of the room as his master asked, "AVERAGE?! I AM NOT AVERAGE!" he paused, then explains, "You, sir, are in the presents of a superior intellect, and a member a group bent on bringing fear to the world in the name of its leader, Nosfearatu," he pauses, and said and shows the world, "My slave terminals are connected to the chrome network, soon, with the power of fear within my Dark Crystal, nothing will stand in my way," Neurosis then shows Lance himself wearing a crown and royal robes while holding a scepter, then said, "I will-"

"Rule the world!" Lance said sarcastically.

Neurosis drops the king's stuff, then said, "I was planning to use you as a fear battery in my dungeon, but now, since this will cause me to lose the power of my Dark Crystal," he paused then yells out, "Fritz, KILL HIM!"

Lance looks behind him, then said, "Uh oh," as he sees Fritz has put a lot of weapons pointed at him, who was also snickering. Lance knows he's in trouble and ducks as Fritz hits a button to cause all the weapons to fire. Luckily, they all missed, and Lance was just standing a small floorboard, then glimpse down at the abyss below him, then looks away, then looks at Neurosis.

The said brain then said, "FRITZ, YOU IMBECILE!" Lance was shocked as Neurosis commands again, "Kill him!"

Neurosis laughs as Fritz puts a cannon into his right arm, loads it with a cannonball. Lance was a bit scared as Fritz lit the fuse to the cannon and points it at Lance while snickering. Lance then said to himself while looking around, "Okay, Lance, think fast, Lance," Fritz closes his eyes, covered on of his ears, while still snickering. Lance soon thought of something, he cups his hands around his mouth then yells out, "BOOM!" Fritz then was exited and looks at what he thinks are the remains of Lance, but was shocked, while grossing Taylor more by taking earwax on his hook when he sees Lance still standing, who then waves at him, and said, "Hiya pal." Fritz then screams and his eyes popped out of his sockets but went back in. Fritz then looks into the cannon to see what went wrong but was shocked when the ball was still in and the cannon goes off, blasting him in his face. "Loser!" Lance said to Fritz while pointing at him, then laughing at his misfortune. Fritz was sitting down with his head covered in smoke and his shirt and vest ripped around where his head is, he then looks up and smiles as he sees the cannonball go up and break through the roof. Taylor knew what goes up, must come down, since the cannonball does that but making a new hole in the roof in the process. Lance keeps laughing at Fritz and said, "Oh man!" continues to laugh until the cannonball hits the floorboard that was supporting Lance, and he falls screaming to the dark abyss below while Fritz tries to get him with his hooks, only to miss him.

"Fritz!" Neurosis said, causing his pet to look at his master, who commands him, "Despite I lost the power of my Dark Crystal, terminate him and any who isn't a resident in this castle with extreme prejudice," Fritz thinks as Neurosis said, "Sick 'em, boy!" Fritz then jumps up and opens his vest, showing he was armed to the teeth, then used his vest to glide down after Lance.

Everything faded to black.

Next Taylor sees only a black screen with Neurosis and some bubbles going up.

The brain then said, "So, my weak little repairman," he pauses, and continues, "a narrow escape from a narrow mind. If it's a challenge you want, then it's a deadly game you'll get!" he pauses, then said, "As for you, Taylor Fearbrave!" Taylor was shocked as Neurosis explains, "I had a feeling that you have seen everything from that creature, Shade. Well, despite I lost the Dark Crystal's fear power, I know you will be going after it. So, I want you to know that unless it is necessary, you can't get any help from any of your friends, but still will get a new ability from that brother of yours, but it will be of little help where I am at," he pauses, the states, "And this is both of you, when this is over, we shall see just who is 'average'!" Neurosis then laughs and everything fades to black.

Taylor wakes up, then explains everyone all of what she saw in her vision. Shadow thought, and said, "Seems Neurosis is smarter than we thought."

"Well, he is a brain, obviously," Bentley said.

Shadow replied, "Yeah, but if what he said was true, this will be a difficult challenge," he looks at his sister, and said, "Taylor, I have some things for you to do there besides getting the Dark Crystal."

"I'm all ears, brother," Taylor said, beginning to hear her brother's plan.

This took a short while, but I finally finished the prologue to the next story, though sorry for it to be a bit gross. Wonder what Taylor is going to do this time? Please write a review, but please no flames.
