Anyway, here is part one of my SR/KO chapter. I hope you like it. Sorry for any grammar errors.

Transformers Prime: The Medic's Assistant

Chapter 43: Spider's Web Part 1

Disclaimer: I don't own Transformers Prime.

Within a Decepticon base on Cybertron, Knock Out ran down the corridor as fast as he could. He could hear the commotion up ahead as he got closer to the room. Soon as he opened the door, he saw what the disturbance was.

Fighting fist to fist were two large decepticons. One with blue armor and a red face with yellow optics. The other, silver armor with purple optics. Both angrily yelled as they charged at each other and locked servos, each trying to over-power the other.

Knock Out groaned at what was happening. "Not again." Seeing another con standing off to the side watching the fight, he rushed over to him. "Dragstrip, what happened?" he asked the gold and purple con.

"They were arguing about somethin, then this happened," Dragstrip said, his optics not leaving the fight, "my creds are on Heatseeker."

Both Knock Out and Dragstrip let out a shriek as they ducked down, the flying crate missing their heads by inches.

The two larger cons rolled around on the floor, knocking over everything in their path. The blue con kicked Heatseeker off of him, sending the silver con flying onto his back. Getting back up, the blue con pounded his fists together as he stood his ground.

"Breakdown!" Knock Out shouted at him, "would you cut it out?! You're going to destroy the base at this rate!"

Heatseeker laughed as he got back up. "You heard the Doc. Give it up. I dare ya, nurse bot."

Letting out an angry yell, Breakdown activated his hammer.

"BREAKDOWN, DON'T!" Knock Out yelled, only to be ignored.

With one big swing, Breakdown sent the silver con flying back into the wall... and into the breaker box.

Heatseeker fell to the floor with a groan as the crushed breaker box sparked. Within seconds, the base's power shut down along with the lights. All four cons were left in the dark as their glowing optics looked at one another.

"Oops," Breakdown said.

The other glowing optics frowned at his. Just then all optics looked horrified as a loud booming voice shouted from within the base.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO THE POWER?!"

(Time skip)

It wasn't long before the team got the back-up generator running. Once everything had calmed down, Knock Out went to find Breakdown. He found him in the same room, cleaning up the mess he made. The blue con had fresh dents in his armor as if someone had recently beaten him.

"You're lucky Motormaster didn't tear you apart," Knock Out told his partner.

Breakdown grumbled as he set a chair upright. "Heatseeker started it."

"What were you two fighting about this time?"

A growl escaped the bigger con's mouth. "He drank my last can of Engex."

The doctor gave him a look of disbelief. "You got into a fight over a beverage?!"

"It was my last one!" Breakdown snapped as he turned around to look at his friend, "had my name on it and everything! He drank it on purpose!"

Knock Out pinched his brow. "Why do you always allow him to get under your armor? You know he messes with you because you get angry easily."

"I do not!"

"You're angry right now!"

"NO I'M NOT!" Spinning around, Breakdown activated his hammer and brought it down on the chair, crushing it where it stood.

Knock Out looked at what was left of the chair before giving his friend a look. "Feel better?"

Deactivating his hammer, Breakdown looked at what he did as he let out a frustrated vent.

Knock Out shook his head. "You have got to get your temper under control. If you're not careful, one of these days it will get you in real trouble."

Breakdown huffed as he folded his arms. "You wouldn't be saying that if someone scratched your finish."

"That's different!" Knock Out protested.

"Uh huh, sure."

"Well, I'm not the one who tried to tear a teammate apart over a can of Engex."

"I don't know what the big deal is. I can handle anything! Bots go running when they see me."

Knock Out vented. "No one is immortal. Can you at least try and learn to control yourself?"

The larger con was quiet at first before letting out an annoyed vent. "Fine, whatever."

"Good," Knock Out said. "Once you're done cleaning, I'll need your help with the new shipment of parts." He turned around to leave before Breakdown stopped him.

"Hey, I've been meaning to ask, how did your date with Starflare go?" the bigger con asked.

Knock Out silently stood there for a moment. He then let out a vent and turned around. "We... decided to stop seeing each other."

Breakdown was surprised. "Wait, you broke up?"

"Apparently she found someone better and now I'm not worth her time," Knock Out said with a huff, "well, I say good riddance! She was a problem from the start! Always full of herself! Everything always had to be about her."

"Hmm, why does that sound familiar?" Breakdown asked jokingly.

Knock Out gave him a look. "Ha ha," he laughed dryly.

"Ah, who needs her," Breakdown said, trying to cheer up his friend, "to be honest, I never really liked her. You'll find someone way better."

"During a war? Doubtful. I'm better off as a bachelor. No need to have the pressure of a relationship weighing me down."

"In that case, lets celebrate your newfound freedom," the blue con said, "we should raid Heatseeker's hangar and see if he still has a stash of high grade hidden away. The idiot probably hides it under his berth."

"And get yourself into even more trouble? You're just asking for it now, aren't you?"

"Trouble smouble. Nothing I can't handle. Face it, Knock Out. There ain't nothing that can keep me down."

Knock Out snapped out of his flashback as his commlink went off. Immediately he answered it. "Yes?"

"Knock Out," Megatron's voice spoke, "report to the bridge. I have a mission for you."

"On my way, my liege."

Knock Out immediately made his way out of the med bay and hurried to the bridge.

A mission. He hadn't been on one in a while. Not since he and Breakdown went to retrieve the forge of Solus Prime. The thought of Breakdown made him upset. It had been weeks since he lost his partner. The med bay was quieter without him. He never thought he would miss the sound of the big oaf breaking something while cleaning. He knew his partner's temper would get the better of him one day. And yet Knock Out felt like he was the one suffering for it.

And then there was Airachnid.

Knock Out's energon boiled every time he thought of the arachnicon. He wanted nothing more than to slice her head clean off with his buzzsaw. At least that way, he believed, it would give him the closer he needed.

Once he reached the bridge, he walked over to the computer where the Decepticon warlord waited for him.

"How may I serve you, Lord Megatron?" he asked his master.

"Soundwave has decrypted another set of Iacon coordinates," Megatron said, gesturing to the computer screen revealing the location. "And since Dreadwing is currently busy, I am entrusting you to retrieve the relic. Do not fail me."

Knock Out gave him a bow. "Of course, my Liege."

(Autobot Base)

The base was quiet with Team Prime out on a mission. Even Ratchet was assigned to go along with them. This left just Stormracer and Sierra who were both at the workstation in the main hangar. The excited science student was showing Sierra her latest project while the human girl mostly listened. Stormracer failed to notice the upset look on Sierra's face as she continued on.

"Okay, I think it's set up," the femme said as she pushed a button on the small hand-held device. Holding it up, she aimed it at her friend. "Smile for the scanner!"

The girl stood still as the device released a thin light that scanned her in an instant. Once that was done, Stormracer pressed a couple more buttons before holding it out again. Another light shot out, revealing a realistic life size hologram of Sierra waving and smiling back at her friend.

"TA DAAA!" Stormracer said excitedly," I made my own hologram projector! Not only do the holograms look life like, but I can also choose what kind of movements they can do! My friend Mirage has a mod similar to this, but way cooler. And check it out!" She pushed a couple more buttons. The hologram grew bigger as it changed into a life sized Arcee. The blue femme was in a battle stance with her blades out and ready. "I have Arcee ready to fight some cons..." She then changed the hologram again to Optimus Prime standing stoically with his battle mask on. "One of Optimus looking cool as usual, and one of Bumblebee trying out Dance Dance Revolution." The hologram then changed to the autobot scout dancing in place. She snickered. "This actually happened. He didn't even know I was scanning him. This little device will come in handy for missions. Cool, huh?!"

Just then the hologram began glitching before disappearing completely. Stormracer frowned as she whacked it a few times. After the third whack, it came back to life.

"Okay, so it still has a few kinks," she admitted, "I may be good at chemistry, but sometimes I find tech a tad bit tricky. I'd ask Ratchet for help, but you know how much he likes taking over projects. Once I master this, I want to try making solid holoforms that can actually touch things as if they're real. That way we could-," Stormracer stopped mid-sentence, finally noticing her friend wasn't paying attention and had an upset look on her face. "Hey, what's wrong?"

Sierra snapped out of it and looked at her guardian. "Sorry," she said, "your hologram projector is cool. Really. It's just..." She let out a sigh. "My parents found out I'm dating Jack."

"Wait, you never told them?" the femme asked as she raised her optical ridge. "Why?"

"Because they're so judgmental when it comes to me dating," the girl explained, "they hear one bad thing about who I'm dating, and they never let me hear the end of it."

"But Jacks a good kid. What's not to like?"

"They heard about the whole street racing thing. Word travels in a small town."

"... Oh yeah that," Stormracer said, remembering that night.

"Anyway, now that they know we're dating, they're nagging me on wanting to meet Jack. And if they do, they'll most likely interrogate him like he's some criminal. They did that to my last boyfriend. It was so embarrassing!"

"Hey, I'm sure they'll like Jack once they get to know him."

"But what if they don't? I really like Jack and I don't want them to judge him based on something I encouraged him to do in the first place."

"Have you talked to Jack yet?"

Sierra sighed. "No, not yet. I don't want him to get all nervous." She then chuckled. "Even though its cute when he rambles." Her smile then vanished. "I just want my parents to accept him."

"And they will. Like I said, Jacks a good kid. They'll see that. If not, you two could always run away to Mexico," Stormracer said the last part jokingly.

Sierra laughed. "Let's call that plan B." She looked back up at her guardian. "Do Cybertronians date?"

"We do," Stormracer said as she set the hologram projector down, "And when two bots decide to, as you say, tie the knot, they become Conjunx Endura, aka sparkmates. Actually, Optimus had a sparkmate."

"He did?" Sierra asked, very surprised.

"Elita One. According to Ratchet, she and Optimus were together way before Optimus became a Prime. They stood by each other no matter what."

"So, what happened to her?" Sierra asked, "why isn't she here with Optimus?"

Stormracer sadly lowered her helm, answering the girl's question.

"Oh," Sierra murmured.

"She and her team were scouting for energon off world when they were attacked by a decepticon squad sent by Megatron. She knew they were after her specifically. Instead of putting her team at risk, she left to lure the enemy away. No one's seen or heard from her since. Ratchet and I were with Optimus when he got word. He may be good at keeping his emotions in check. But that day... you could see the pain in his optics. The search lasted for weeks, only to find no trace of her. We don't even know if she's dead or alive."

"That's so sad," Sierra said sadly, "what was she like?"

Stormracer smiled a little. "She had a good spark and was very caring towards others. She was also a strong fighter and leader. My friend Greenlight was actually part of her team."

"What happened to the team?"

"Months after Elita disappeared, they disbanded and went their separate ways. I was hoping Greenlight would join Team Prime, but she met a mech and wanted to be with him." She chuckled. "Shes always been mech crazy."

"Sounds like Emily," Sierra chuckled, "what about you?"

"What about me?"

"Did you have a mech friend?"

Stormracer's smile disappeared as she uncomfortably glanced away. "I, uh...I did... back at the academy," she scratched the back of her helm, "it was... well..."

Just then a beeping sound came from the main computer, gaining their attention. Both Stormracer and Sierra made their way over to see it had detected something.

"Energon?" Sierra asked.

Stormracer shook her head. "A relic."

"But don't you need the Iacon data base to locate them?"

"Yes. And seeing how this just popped up, it means the cons must have unearthed one." Stormracer tried contacting the others, but to no prevail. "The team must be out of comm range."

"So, what do we do?" Sierra asked, "we can't let the cons get away with a relic."

Stormracer looked at the screen and vented. "Ratchets going to kill me," she said as she went to put in the coordinates for the groundbridge.

"You're going by yourself?! Sierra asked.

"I'm just going to scope it out," she said, "while I do that, you keep trying to reach the bots. Once you do, send them to my position. Got it?"

Sierra didn't like the idea of her guardian going alone. At the same time, they couldn't risk losing a relic. She sighed. "Just please keep me updated."

"I will. And don't worry," she said optimistically, "the cons won't even know I'm there."

Sierra frowned. "Don't jinx yourself."

Stormracer went to grab the scanner. Just as she passed the work area, she glanced over at her hologram projector on the table. It wasn't a hundred percent completed. Still... if something were to happen, maybe it could be useful. Grabbing it as well, she activated the groundbridge and ran through the portal. She soon found herself in a wooded area, surrounded by trees with the sun high in the sky. Pulling out the scanner, she followed the signal. It wasn't long before she heard a sound up ahead. Preparing herself, she quietly made her way over and hid behind the trees. Down at the bottom of the hill, she saw a couple vehicons halfway through digging as they tried to get the pod out of the ground.

"What's taking so long?!" an impatient voice asked.

Stormracer looked over and saw Knock Out approaching the vehicons.

"Lord Megatron wants that relic and we all know he can only be patient for so long!" the decepticon doctor continued.

Keeping her optic on the cons, Stormracer contacted the base. "Sierra, you there?" she whispered.

"I hear you," the girl answered, "did you find anything?"

"Yeah. Knock Out and two vehicons. Looks like they're still trying to dig out the relic. I won't know what it is until they pull it out. I'm going to try and get a closer look."

"Please be careful."

After she hung up, Stormracer looked around the area. So far it looked like it was just Knock Out and the vehicons. She grew curious. Wasn't Breakdown usually with Knock Out? Why wasn't he there?

Focus, Storm! You need to know what relic they found.

Needing a closer look, the femme carefully made her way down. Soon as she made it to the bottom, she hid behind a rock and peaked around. The relic must have been in real deep because the vehicons were still struggling to pull it out. Hopefully Sierra would reach the bots in time before the cons got away. In the meantime, she had to stay hidden and-

Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of blasters humming. Turning around, she gasped when she saw two other vehicons standing there with their blasters pointed at her.

"Uh oh."

Knock Out impatiently tapped his finger on his arm as he watched the vehicons continue digging. The last thing he wanted was to keep Megatron waiting. If Breakdown were there, he would have dug up the relic much sooner than those vehicons. Thinking about his partner, he let out a vent as he tried to push the thought away.

"Sir!" one of the vehicon guards said, gaining the doctor's attention. "We found this autobot snooping around the area."

Stormracer shrieked as they threw her down, making her fall flat right in front of Knock Out.

For a split second, Knock Out perked up as soon as he saw it was the teal femme. Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad day after all. Folding his arms, he grinned at Stormracer. "Well, well. Been a while, Stormy."

Getting up on her knees, Stormracer looked up at him. "Knock Out!" she said 'innocently', "How've you been? Did you do something with your paint job?"

Knock Out smirked. "Where are your teammates?"

"They're... on their way," she fibbed, "but maybe if you hand over the relic, they might go easy on you."

Knock Out chuckled as he knelt down in front of her. "Oh Sweetspark. You're a horrible liar. They don't know you're here, do they?"

Stormracer's smile disappeared, answering his question.

"Thought so." He said with a grin, "you really should stop doing your own solo missions. You'll run into less trouble that way."

The vehicons that were digging finally were able to pull the pod free from the ground, unaware of a shadow flying right over them from the trees. They were about to notify Knock Out when they heard a twig snap, making them look around.

"What was that?" one asked.

"Probably just some dumb animal," the other said. No sooner after he said this, a dark figure flew by them from behind. Immediately they turned around, only to see nothing.

"What was that?!"

Just then both let out painful cries as double pointed spikes each impaled them from behind, instantly snuffing their sparks.

Hearing the two, the others looked over and gasped at what they saw. Once the spikes were yanked out, the two dead vehicons fell forward. Glowing purple optics then appeared from the shadows as they looked at the group. Soon, a small slim figure stepped into the light. One with spider legs on her back.

"You," Knock Out said, very shocked as he stood back up.

Airachnid evilly smiled as energon dripped from her sharp spider appendages. "Hello, Doctor. Did you miss me?"

Knock Out went from shocked to furious as he glared at her. "You!"

"Hope you don't mind me dropping in," she said, "was in the neighborhood when I picked up a special signature. I will gladly take this relic off your cold lifeless servos."

Knock Out grabbed his energon staff and pointed it at her. "Tear her apart!" he ordered the vehicons as he began firing.

The vehicons fired along with him. Using her spider legs, Airachnid leaped out of the way of the fire power and onto the trees where she fired back.

While the cons were distracted, Stormracer quietly crawled away. She shrieked as a shot whizzed past her before making her way behind a rock. There she hid as she heard the blaster fire from behind.

Ooh, this is really bad! she thought.

Firing a few more shots, Airachnid jumped down and spun around, using her spider legs to drill her way underground. The three cons had their guards up as they looked around, waiting for her to make a move. Knock Out gripped his energon staff as he looked at the ground. He could hear the faint sound of drilling as he prepared himself.

Then there was eerie silence.

Before he could even ask himself what was happening, he suddenly went flying forward as Airachnid popped up from behind, sending dirt flying everywhere as she landed on her bipedal legs. The two vehicons went to fire before she webbed both of their blasters. She then fired at one, killing him instantly. The other charged at her, only for the ex-con to spit acid in his face. The vehicon let out a scream as he held his burning face, unable to notice the spider limb coming at him.

Airachnid watched in amusement as the last vehicon fell to the ground, his energon dripping from her appendage. Hearing a sound from behind, she spun around and used one of her spider legs to block the sparking energon staff inches away from her face.

Knock Out angrily grinded his teeth as he tried pushing the staff towards her.

Airachnid only grinned at him. "Why so angry, Knock Out? No need to have a breakdown."

Even more angry, Knock Out glared at her. "I'm going to enjoy dissecting you!" Pulling the staff away, he went for another attack.

Stormracer peaked from her hiding spot to see Knock Out and Airachnid fighting. She watched Knock Out dodge her spider legs as he spun his staff around, his optics flaring red with fury. She had never seen Knock Out so angry before. She then looked over at the pod. The relic was right there. If she stayed quiet, she could grab it and have Sierra bridge her back. She began making her way towards it before hearing a cry from behind, making her turn around. Knock Out had been struck by one of Airachnid's spider legs, leaving a big gash on his chestplate. Knock Out looked down at it to see energon leaking from his wound.

"Ooh, that will be hard to buff out," Airachnid said tauntingly. Shooting her servos forward, she webbed the doctor, making him drop his weapon and fall onto his back. His arms were trapped as he tried reaching for his staff, only for Airachnid to kick it away.

Stormracer's optics widened at what was happening. She looked at the pod before looking back at the decepticon medic.

Knock Out struggled as he tried to free himself, the web making it nearly impossible for him to move.

Airachnid laughed as she hovered over him. "Looks like I'll be the one doing the dissecting." Lifting up one of her spider legs, she prepared to strike him. Just then she let out a surprised grunt as someone tackled her from behind.

Stormracer wasted no time as she charged and tackled Airachnid away from Knock Out. They both rolled on the ground before the autobot let go and rolled away from the ex-con. She immediately got back on her pedes and activated her EMP as Airachnid got back up. Soon as the arachnicon recognized her, she smirked.

"I remember you," Airachnid said, "you're Arcee's little friend from the Harbinger. Stormracer, is it?"

"That's me," the autobot said, trying to sound brave, "I also go by, Storm, Stormy, S.R., Nerd, Weirdo, Nosey- WHOA!" She jumped back as Airachnid activated her spider legs and leaped at her. Stormracer fell back and looked up in horror as Airachnid hovered over her.

"And soon to be called, Dead," Airachnid commented with a hiss.

Stormracer immediately fired her EMP. The shot missed, but it was enough to make Airachnid jump back. Scrambling back up, Stormracer continued firing. The spider con easily dodged her and fired back. A few shots whizzed past Stormracer before one hit the ground near her foot, making her fall back. Airachnid laughed as she continued firing at the ground in front of Stormracer, making the autobot scramble back as the shots got closer and closer. Once the firing stopped, Stormracer went to fire her EMP again, but Airachnid was too quick. Next thing she knew, her arm was webbed to the tree behind her, keeping her from firing. She desperately tried pulling her arm free as Airachnid switched to her bipedal legs and approached her.

"Too bad Arcees not here," she said as she stopped in front of Stormracer, "I would have loved to see the look on her face when I rip your spark out."

After much struggling, Knock Out managed to free his arm and activated his buzzsaw, using it to cut the web trapping him. Once he was free, he jumped up and got ready to fight again. "Hey, Creepy Crawly!" he called out to Airachnid, "we're not finished here."

Airachnid turned to look at him. She could see his anger and hatred pouring out of him as he glared at her. She grinned. "Well, look who grew a back strut," she said, "the last con who gave me that look was Breakdown I believe. Right before I snuffed out his spark."

Shocked by the news, Stormracer stopped struggling as she looked at the two of them. "What?" she murmured.

"What did you do to him?!" Knock Out demanded.

"Nothing much," Airachnid said with a smirk, "he practically, fell to pieces."

Knock Out could feel his anger getting the better of him. But he didn't care. He was going to kill the arachnicon where she stood.

"Careful, Doctor," Airachnid said, knowing he was about to attack, "don't make the same mistake Breakdown did. Then again, I would like to see you try."

With Airachnid distracted, Stormracer swung her leg under hers. The arachnicon shrieked as she landed onto her back. Taking the opportunity, Knock Out charged at her.

Airachnid quickly looked up to see Knock Out's buzzsaw coming down. Immediately she moved out of the way, only for her shoulder to still be struck by the spinning blade. She let out a cry as she activated her spider legs and leaped onto a tree. She looked at her shoulder, seeing energon leaking out from the large cut. She looked at Knock Out and angrily hissed at him.

"Soundwave should have killed you when he had the chance," Knock Out said, ready to strike her again.

Deciding she had enough, she leaped into the air and landed on another tree before shooting a web at the red con's face. Knock Out's yells were muffled as he tried pulling the web off of him. With the con busy, Airachnid then leaped over to the pod and opened it. Knock Out soon got the web off his face, only to see Airachnid with the relic in her servo.

"Time to take my leave," she said. Transforming into her helicopter form, she ascended into the air and began flying away.

Not wanting her to escape, Knock Out grabbed his energon staff and fired multiple shots at her. The first few missed the target as she got further away. But the last one got her. Knock Out watched as the copter spun around uncontrollably, descending down further into the forest.

"Gotcha!" the medic said. Putting his staff away, he then transformed and sped off towards the direction she crashed.

Stormracer pulled on the web still trapping her as she watched him drive off. "Hey!" she shouted after him, only to be ignored. Pulling back as hard as she could, she finally freed her arm from the tree before transforming and following after Knock Out.

Knock Out swerved around through the trees but found it challenging as the forest thickened. Transforming into his bipedal mode, he ran easily past the trees towards the crash site. Soon as he reached the area the arachnicon crashed, he skidded to a halt. There was no sign of the spider bot. Just a puddle of energon soaking into the dirt. Letting out an angry yell, Knock Out activated his buzzsaw and sliced a tree down with one clean swing. He vented as he tried to pull himself together. Just then he heard the sound of footsteps running towards him. Spinning around, he raised his buzzsaw to attack.

"Whoa!" Stormracer said as she skidded to a stop and raised her servos.

Knock Out frowned as he lowered his weapon. "Go home," he told her.

Stormracer looked at the energon behind him. "She got away."

Knock Out turned around and looked at it. "And with the relic. That's not good for either of us."

Stormracer glanced over and noticed something. "Hey," she said as she pointed, "there's a trail of energon going that way."

Knock Out looked over. Sure enough, there were small drops of energon making its way west from the crash site.

"Looks like she's grounded," he said, "she'll most likely set up a trap. She knows she'll be hunted."

Needing backup, Stormracer contacted the base. "Sierra, any word yet from the others?"

"Nothing yet," Sierra answered on speaker, "What happened?"

"Airachnid has the relic," Stormracer said.

"What?! You mean that creepy spider lady?!"

"No, the very hungry caterpillar," Knock Out replied sarcastically.

"Wh... wait, is that Knock Out?!" Sierra asked in disbelief.

Stormracer vented as she pinched her brow. "Yes, he's here with me."

"Storm, what is happening right now?!"

"Long story."

"Well, while you catch your friend up, I'm going on a bug hunt," Knock Out said as he started walking off.

"Knock Out, wait!" Stormracer said as she followed after him, "you can't just go after Airachnid."

"Of course I can. I'm doing it right now."

"I say let him," Sierra said.

Stormracer frowned as she got in front of the con and made him stop. "For crying out loud, stop!"

He frowned back at her. "Give me one good reason."

"She knows you'll go after her," she explained, "she's expecting you. You said so yourself it could be a trap."

Knock Out's frown deepened as he let out a vent. "Then what do you suggest?"

"We should team up," she said.

"WHAT?!" Sierra exclaimed through her commlink.

Knock Out raised his optical ridge at the femme. "I'm sorry, team up?"

"She has the relic, which spells trouble for both autobots and decepticons. And neither of us can face her alone with that advantage. We have to get it back from her. In order to do that, we have to work together."

Knock Out folded his arms. "And what happens after we get the relic? We split it in two?"

"We get it back; we can fight over it. Winner gets to keep it."

Knock Out thought for a moment. He knew he would be in trouble if he allowed an autobot to assist him. Still, they were dealing with Airachnid. Yes, he was angry, but even he had to admit Stormracer was making sense.

Finally, he let out a vent and frowned. "Fine. But the arachnicons mine."

"Storm, can I say something?" Sierra asked.

"Shoot," the femme said.

"Have you lost your mind?!" the redhead exclaimed, "you can't trust him!"

"Look, until you're able to get a hold of the bots, we don't have a lot of options."

"Storm, please! From what Jack says about Airachnid, she's dangerous. Arcee has a hard enough time taking her down!"

"Sierra, I have to try," she said, "just keep trying to contact the team, alright?"

There was a long silence before Sierra let out a worried sigh. "You better come back alive, Storm. I mean it! Hey, Knock Out, you still there?"

The decepticon medic frowned. "Yes?"

Sierra's voice changed to a threatening tone. "You double-cross my guardian in anyway shape or form and you will have more than just your paint job to worry about!" With that said, she hung up.

"... Sweet friend you have there," Knock Out commented as he looked at Stormracer.

"She worries," she said, "anyway, shall we?"

Still frowning, Knock Out began following the trail as he pulled out his energon staff. "Best we keep our guard up. She could be anywhere."

With Knock Out taking lead, Stormracer activated her EMP generator and followed after him.

Soon as she was far away, Airachnid perched herself onto a tree and studied the relic, revealing it to be a large gun of some kind.

"Now, what's so special about you?" she asked.

Wanting to try it out, she looked around before laying optics on an old abandoned pick-up truck along a trail. Perfect. Aiming the weapon, she fired. But instead of a shot, a ray fired at the truck. Within seconds, the truck was melted down into a pool of liquid metal. Airachnid hissed in delight at the results.

"Oh, this will do nicely."

Wiping a drop of energon from her wound, she let it trickle from her digits, lengthening the trail she left for her pursuer.

"Don't keep me waiting, Knock Out."

And that was Spider's Web part 1! I hope you liked it. Shout out to BlueJacket242 for suggesting I do a flashback for this chapter. Thanks again!

And to Girl Anime Club, I hope you liked my mention of Elita One. I know you've been wanting me to do that for a while, so I decided to put it into this chapter. Was just trying to find the right moment to mention her.

Not sure when I will have part 2 posted, but hoping I won't be too long again. Anyway, thanks for checking out this story and hope you all have a good day. Until next time! God bless!
