Hey everyone! I'm back and with chapter 46! We are finally back into the series after a bunch of original chapters, and I am glad! Writing original chapters take so long to create lol. I really had fun typing out this one and I hope you enjoy it. P.S. Sorry for any grammar errors.
Transformers Prime: The Medic's Assistant
Chapter 46: Armada
Disclaimer: I don't own Transformers Prime
Stormracer couldn't get her mind off of Knock Out. It had been a few days since they last saw each other, and he was all she could think about. She thought about how he opened up to her, allowing her to see how much he truly cared about Breakdown. The more he talked, the less she saw him as the mad doctor of the decepticons, but instead a fellow cybertronian who lost a friend. She was happy they got to talk again. Despite what he protested; she was beginning to see him as a friend.
But of course, she didn't tell her team about their meeting, instead telling them she went for an evening drive by herself. When she got back, they were wondering why she was out for so long and told them she lost track of time. She hated lying to them. But at the same time, she knew they would disapprove of her going to see the Decepticon medic. Knock Out did have a point. If they continued meeting, the others would surely learn. Still... she wanted to see him again, and not on the battlefield fighting one other.
"Hey, Storm, you still with me?"
Stormracer snapped out of her thoughts as she looked over at Bulkhead in his vehicle form, realizing he was trying to ask her something. "Oh! Uh, yeah! Sorry."
"You've been really quiet lately. Everything okay?" he asked.
"Oh, yeah," she fibbed, "just... just thinking about Sierra. Jack's meeting her parents this weekend and she's really nervous about it."
"Ah, don't worry about it. I'm sure it will go great."
"Yeah, totally," Stormracer agreed before letting out a guilty vent. "Thanks again for letting me tag along."
"No problem! I just hope we find something soon." Sure enough, he detected something on his scanner. "Well, whatya know." He then contacted base. "Bulkhead to base. Picked up a strong reading. Stormracer and I will go check it out."
Stormracer followed after Bulkhead as he drove off road. It took them a while, but they managed to reach the spot. Driving between some trees, Bulkhead sped around them before doing a 360 and transforming. Stormracer drove up from behind before transforming as well beside the wrecker.
"Showoff," she told him teasingly.
Bulkhead laughed as they both ran over to a large hole in the ground.
"What do you think?" Stormracer asked.
"Hard to see from way up here," Bulkhead said, "Good news is there's no decepticons here." He then began climbing down the rock wall towards the bottom. As he was making his way down, Stormracer jumped over the side, hopping down against the rock wall with her grappling claw attached to the top.
"Meet you at the bottom!" she said as she zipped past him.
"Oh, now who's the showoff!" he shouted after her.
She laughed as she continued down. It wasn't long before she landed at the bottom of the pit. Detaching her claw, she looked around. Sitting there were stacks of boxed energon. She looked up at Bulkhead. "Bulkhead, its energon!" she shouted at him.
"WHAT?!" he shouted, unable to hear her from all the way up.
"IT'S ENERGON AND IT'S ALREADY BOXED UP!" she shouted louder.
"I CAN'T HEAR YOU! HANG ON I'M COMING DOWN!"
"YOU'RE HUMMING CLOWN?!"
"WHAT?!"
Stormracer shook her head. "I'LL WAIT TIL YOU COME DOWN!"
Soon as Bulkhead got closer, he got a good look at what Stormracer found. "Energon. Boxed and ready for pick up." Just then he heard a sound coming from above. He looked up to see the Nemesis flying overhead before hovering over the hole.
Stormracer saw this as worry took over. "Uh oh."
"Scrap!" Bulkhead said as he tried to climb down quicker.
"Bulkhead be careful!" Stormracer shouted.
Bulkhead put his pede on a rock, but it gave out from the weight. He tried to hold on, but he lost his grip and let out a yell as he fell.
Stormracer's optics widened once she realized he was falling straight towards her. "Oh scrap." Next thing she knew, the green bot fell on top of her, knocking her out in the process. Both autobots laid on the cubes unconscious as a yellow tube descended down from the Nemesis, lifting them and the cargo up and bringing them onboard.
(Time skip)
Bulkhead was the first to wake up as he let out a groan. Forcing himself up, he held his helm. "Ugh, my head gasket." He then noticed his surroundings. "What the-" he said, seeing he was now in a large dark room surrounded by energon cubes. He leaped down as he looked around. There was only one place he knew that had dark rooms like this. "The cons' warship." He backed away before stopping. Turning around, he looked down and gasped at the large hole in the floor leading to outside. "Whoa!" he exclaimed, seeing the ship was high up in the sky with the clouds down below.
Needing to get off the ship, he opened his commlink. "Ratchet, don't ask how I got here. Long story." His optics widened when he got no answer. "Ratchet, you copy?!" No answer. "Oh, scrap! We need to find a way out of... wait, where's Storm?" He looked around at the room. "Storm?" he called out. "Storm!"
He walked over to where he woke up before noticing the teal femme laying on the floor. He rushed over to her, seeing she was still unconscious with a huge dent in her helm.
"Oh, Ratchets going to kill me!" Bulkhead groaned. Kneeling down, he tried to wake her up. "Storm, wake up!" he said as he shook her by the shoulders, "come on, wake up!"
After a moment, Stormracer's optics opened, making Bulkhead vent in relief.
"Phew!" he said with a chuckle. "Welcome back."
She just looked at him, not saying a word as she laid there.
"Uh, Storm?" Bulkhead asked.
Lifting up her digit, Stormracer poked him in the face. "Boop!" she said. Making a snorting noise, she started giggling like a mad person. She immediately sat up with a big grin on her face as she stretched her arms out. "Good morning!" She looked around in confusion. "Where are we? Do you live here? No offense but it looks really sad in here. Maybe you should paint the walls yellow. Oh, how about pink! Or PUMPERNICKEL?! Hehe, that's a funny word. Pumpernickelpumpernickelpumpernickelpumpernickel..."
Bulkhead stared at her as she rambled on. She may be known for being silly at times. But this was beyond that. He looked at the dent on her head. How hard did she hit it? "Uh, Storm?"
She stopped rambling and looked at him questionably. "Storm?" She then giggled. "It's not storming in here silly! What's your name, stranger?"
Bulkhead's optics widened. "Y-you don't recognize me?"
She looked at him carefully then shook her head. "Nope." She smiled. "But you have a kind face, Mr. Stranger. I'm... I'm... Who am I again?" she asked herself as she scratched her head.
"... Ooh, this is not good," Bulkhead groaned as he pinched his brow and shook his head.
Stormracer stood up, her legs not working properly as she started swaying. "Woooo!" she giggled.
Bulkhead went to help her. "Alright, easy before you fall."
"Oh pfft! Don't worry. I'm a professional. I think." No sooner did she say that, she fell backwards with a thud. "TIMBERRRRRRRRRR!" She cried out as she laid there on her back.
"Shhh!" Bulkhead shushed as he helped her back up.
"Now now, don't shush me," she told him with a smile, "you'll wake up the WHOOOOLE neighborhood!"
"SHHHHHHH!"
"WHOOPIE-" She didn't get to finish as Bulkhead immediately covered her mouth. Making sure no one heard, he let out a vent and tried to explain the situation to her. "Alright, I need you to listen to me very carefully. My name is Bulkhead."
Stormracer took his servo off her mouth and shook it. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Bulkhead!"
"Just Bulkhead," he told her as he pulled his servo away. "And we already met. We've been friends for a long time."
"Really? Sorry, but I don't remember."
"Yeah, I figured. Anyway, your name is Stormracer. And right now, we're on the decepticon warship and we need to find a way off."
"Gotcha! One question though. What's a deck-a-con?"
"Decepticon," Bulkhead clarified, "and they're the ones that want to hurt us."
"Why?"
"Because they don't like us."
"Why?"
"Because they just don't!"
"Then why did they invite us?"
"They didn't!"
"Then why are we here?"
Bulkhead had to take a big vent as he grew frustrated. Letting it out, he looked at her. "Look Storm, we gotta find a way off before they find us. We can't be seen."
Stormracer's optics widened as she let out an excited gasp, "wait, are we playing hide and seek?! Are we the ones hiding?!"
"What? No this isn't..." Bulkhead stopped mid-sentence. Thinking it might motivate her to control herself, he decided to play along as he vented. "Sure, we're playing hide and seek. If we find a way off this ship without getting caught, we win the game."
Stormracer smiled big and excitedly clapped her servos. "Yaaaaaaay!"
"But..." Bulkhead continued, making her stop, "in order to win, we have to be very quiet."
"Ooh, I can be quiet!" she said, "I can be quiet like quiet things! Like the sea! Except when its stormy, then the sea goes whoooooooosssssh whooooooossssh-"
Bulkhead immediately covered her mouth again. "Game starts now."
His servo still covering her mouth, Stormracer nodded.
Soon as they made it to the door, Bulkhead opened it before peaking his head out to make sure the coast was clear. Seeing no decepticons, he took Stormracer by the servo and led her out of the room.
"Stealthy... stealthy..." he said nervously.
"Sneaky... sneaky..." Stormracer went along chipperly.
Just then Bulkhead froze when he heard the sound of footsteps making their way towards them. He immediately went to head back into the room, only for the door to seal shut, making him bump into it instead.
Stormracer was about to say something before Bulkhead covered her mouth. Remaining still, they watched as three vehicons walked past them down the other hallway, not even noticing the two stowaways.
Soon as Bulkhead removed his servo from her mouth, Stormracer looked up at him. "Are those the guys trying to find us?"
"Yep," he said, "and you can't let them see you no matter what. Got it?"
She smiled big and gave him a thumbs up. "This is going to be fun!"
"Yeah, fun," Bulkhead said dryly. Still holding onto Stormracer's servo, he began quietly backing away as he nervously looked everywhere. Just then, he bumped into someone, making him jump and let go of Stormracer. Instantly he activated his blaster turned around, aiming it at the bot who was aiming his missiles back at him. The wrecker's optics widened in surprise once he saw who it was.
"Starscream?" Bulkhead said.
"Ooh, friend of yours?" Stormracer asked.
The wrecker frowned. "Not even close."
Starscream frowned back as he lowered his guard. "Why is it that every time I return to my old stomping grounds, I find autobots roaming the halls?!"
"Don't tell me you came crawling back to Megatron," Bulkhead said, still glaring at him.
"Hardly!"
"Are you playing hide and seek too?!" Stormracer asked Starscream with a friendly smile, "are you hiding like us?! Hey, we should totally team up!"
Starscream gave her a confused look. "I'm sorry, what?"
"Absolutely not!" Bulkhead argued.
Stormracer looked at Starscream's servos as her optics went wide. "Wow! Look at how long your digits are!" She said as she pointed at them. "How sharp are they? Do you find it hard to pick stuff up? Does it hurt when you scratch yourself? How often do you poke your optic with those?"
Starscream looked at her questionably before looking at Bulkhead as if to ask what was wrong with her.
"Don't ask," Bulkhead told him.
Starscream shook his head and scowled at the two. "Out of my way!"
Bulkhead stopped him before he could walk by. "Scream, you gotta show us a way off this boat."
"Sorry, too busy," the flier argued.
Bulkhead frowned. "Look, when you needed help-"
"As I recall, we bartered," the ex-con clarified," now, unless you have anything of value to offer, step aside."
Bulkhead glared at the seeker. "The exit. Now!"
"I may have given Arcee a free pass when she and I last met," Starscream said. Using his sharp talons, he sliced Bulkhead across the chest, making the wrecker stagger back. "But I won't hesitate to skewer you like I did to a certain Cliffjumper!"
Bulkhead looked at the scratch marks before glaring back at the seeker. Activating his wrecking ball, Bulkhead let out an angry yell as he charged at the now scared seeker and gave him an upper cut. Starscream grunted as he tumbled to the floor before sitting up with his blasters activated. "Perish Bulkhead!" he said, only for the wrecker to leap over and bring his wrecking ball down on him. Starscream was helpless as Bulkhead continuously beat him with his weapon.
"This is for Cliffjumper!" he yelled as he pounded Starscream with the wrecking ball again, "For Bumblebee!" And again. "For everything." Letting out a yell, he brought it down one last time, finishing the flier off.
Bulkhead vented before realizing what he had just done. His optics widened as he looked at his wrecking ball. He then got up and looked at the seeker. "You left me no choice," he said, however still looking at himself in disbelief. Remembering Stormracer, he let out a vent. "Storm, I'm sorry you had to see that. I-" but soon as he turned around, he saw the femme no longer standing there. "Storm?" He looked around frantically but saw no sign of her. "Storm?! Scrap!"
Wondering around on her own, Stormracer skipped down the hall as she looked around. She figured while the two mechs talk, she would go exploring. Maybe she would find a good hiding spot. Coming to an intersection of hallways, she stopped in the middle and looked around in amazement.
"Wow! This place must be huge!" she said out loud. Looking down a hall, she saw a comm unit up ahead. Her optics went big as she excitedly ran over to it. "NEATO!" Looking at the many buttons, she pressed one, making it make a beeping sound. "Hehe." She pressed another which had a different beeping sound. She then pressed another. And another. and Another. And Another. Soon she was rapidly pressing a whole bunch of buttons to make music from the sounds.
Meanwhile, the vehicons began noticing things were popping in and out on their computers and commlinks at rapid speed. Everyone looked at each other in confusion at this.
"Do you know the button song, the button song, the button song?! When you play the button song, you find out what goes wrong!" Stormracer sang as she continued pressing buttons.
Just then an alarm sounded from the unit, making her cover her audio receptors from the high-pitched noise. "Aah, audio overload!" she cried out. Pressing a button, the alarm turned off. "Phew!" she said. Just then she heard the sound of a door opening. Remembering she was playing hide and seek; she ran and hid in the other hallway.
Two vehicons soon arrived but saw no one at the comm unit. It wasn't until they saw someone sneaking down the other end of the hall.
Starscream was backing away before turning around to see the two vehicons standing there. Frantic, he ran off down the other hall.
"Halt!" One of the vehicons shouted as they activated their weapons and chased after him.
Stormracer peaked from behind her hiding spot and giggled before running off. Minutes went by as she walked down the halls, still admiring the ship. However, there was something that was bugging her.
"Sure is a nice place, but everything looks so dark," she said as she stopped and looked at the walls and ceiling. "It could really use some color. And lighting. Maybe even a few windows. And a chandelier!"
Hearing the sound of footsteps approaching, she frantically looked around before seeing a supply room near her. Immediately she ran in and hid before a couple vehicons appeared. Both were oblivious as they walked past the room and disappeared around the corner. Once they were gone, Stormracer let out a "Phew!" She then looked around the room until she noticed something on one of the shelves.
PAINT!
Her optics go big and sparkly as a huge grin spread across her face.
(Fifteen minutes later)
Back in the hallway, Stormracer giggled as she finished up her painting. All over the wall she painted suns, stars, flowers, butterflies, kittens, and any other happy thing she could think of.
"Perfect!" she said happily as she looked at her masterpiece. "Just needs oooone last thing." She looked up at the empty spot in the corner. Using one of the paint cans as a stepping stool, she grabbed the yellow paint can and held it while trying to paint a smiley face. But just as she was near finished, she let out a shriek as she lost her footing and fell backwards. The yellow paint spilled all over her as she fell on her back with a thud. She laid there for a second before snickering. "Oopsie!" Sitting up, she looked at herself, seeing she was covered in paint. Just then she heard the sound of footsteps running towards her. "Uh oh!" Getting up, she ran down the hall, leaving a trail of wet paint behind her.
Soon a couple vehicons ran over to the hallway. To their shock, they saw all the bright paintings on the wall.
"WHAT THE-" one exclaimed, "what the slag is this?!"
The second one looked down and saw the trail of wet paint. "Look!" he said, pointing at it. Wanting to know who the culprit was, the two followed the trail.
Stormracer kept running as the paint continued dripping off of her. But not long after she turned a corner, she ran right into someone. "Oomph!" she yelped as both cybertronians fell to the floor. Rubbing her head, Stormracer looked to see it was Starscream. She smiled at him. "Oh hey! Sorry about that! Shriekstar, right?"
His front now covered in yellow paint thanks to Stormracer, Starscream's optics widened in shock when he saw her. "YOU?!"
The teal femme got back up and brushed herself off, getting the wet paint all over her servos. "Here, let me help you up," she said as she extended her servo to the flier.
"Get away from me!" he said as he swatted her servo away, causing paint to smear onto his.
Hearing footsteps approaching, Stormracer let out an EEP before running off. "Gotta go!"
Once she was gone, Starscream grumbled as he got back up. Just then the two vehicons who were following the trail came around the corner, seeing the ex-SIC standing there with yellow paint on his torso and servo.
"Starscream!" One shouted as they both activated their blasters.
"He's the one that painted those dumb drawings on the wall!" the other said angrily.
Starscream's optics widened as he looked down at himself before looking back at them nervously. "What?! No, I-" Without even finishing, he let out a shriek as he ran off with the two vehicons angrily chasing after him.
Once she figured she was in the clear, Stormracer stopped and let out a vent of relief. "Phew! This game is intense!" She continued walking before coming across a vehicon repairing a monitor. With his back turned, she smiled at him as she kept walking. "Great job! Keep up the good work!" She said before disappearing down another hall.
"Oh, thanks," he said as he kept working. Soon as it dawned on him it was a femme's voice, he snapped his head up and immediately looked behind him, only to see no one there. He scratched his head in confusion as he looked around.
Stormracer hummed to herself as she began skipping. She was having so much fun that she wished the game would last long. She wasn't paying attention as she turned a corner... and bumped into Starscream yet again. Only this time the paint was off him.
He looked at her in shock. "YOU?!"
"Oh hey!" she said, giving him a smile. "Glad to see you're still playing. I haven't been spotted once! This sure is a nice place to play hide and seek in, right?"
Starscream looked at her questionably. "What?"
"Hey, you wanna hear a joke?! Do ya, do ya, do ya?!"
Starscream only stared at her as she went on.
"Why can't you trust atoms?... because they make up everything!" She laughed out loud as she hunched over. "Haha, I crack myself up!"
Starscream activated his blasters and aimed them at her. "I don't know what you're babbling about, but I will-" He was interrupted as Stormracer excitedly gasped.
"Shut. Up. Those look so cool!" she said as she stared at the blasters. "I wish I had something cool come out of my arms!"
The seeker blinked a couple times in confusion as he lowered his weapons. "What are you talking about?! You have an EMP and a grappling claw!"
"No I don't," she said, "I mean, if I did, I could have it pop out of my arm like this." Her optics then widened as she opened the compartment on her arm, activating her grappling claw. "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!" she said as she gawked at it. She then squealed in excitement. "Holy scrap, this is so cool! How does it work?!" She accidentally fired it, causing it to hit Starscream in the optic and bounce off his face.
"AAAAAGH! My eye!" the seeker exclaimed as he held his face in pain.
"Oops!" she said sheepishly, "Sorry!" She looked at her arm and happily squealed as she hopped up and down. "This is so neat! I can't wait to show Bulkhead!" She looked around. "Just need to figure out where he wondered off to." Transforming into her vehicle form, she drove off in the other direction like a shot.
Seeing the autobot leaving, Starscream growled as he aimed his blasters at her, ready to finish the femme off for good. That's when he noticed the cord for her grappling claw was dragging behind her. Looking down, he saw the grappling claw on the floor... with the cord around his pede. Before he could react, the claw ran out of cord... causing it to yank him onto his back. He let out a grunt as he accidentally fired his blaster at the tall stack of crates beside him. Laying on the floor, he let out a groan before letting out a terrified shriek. The crates had gone flying from the shot... and were now coming down right at him.
BOOM!
The crates landed on top of him, covering the flier completely. He let out a muffled groan from underneath as pain shot through his body.
Stormracer stopped once she felt the cord snag something. Looking through her mirror, she saw the grappling claw laying there. "Oops!" Reeling it back in, she chuckled. "Boy, that could have caused an accident." She then drove off, oblivious to what had happened.
Soon as the teal femme disappeared, Starscream pushed a crate away from his head and groaned. "I hate that femme."
A shadow loomed over him, making him look up to see... him? Only this Starscream had yellow paint on him.
"Let me guess...," the other Starscream said as he looked down at his fellow clone, "an autobot?"
The first Starscream clone growled as he pushed the rest of the crates off before getting up. Soon a third clone appeared and looked at the two.
"Why are you both just standing around?!" he asked with a frown. He looked at the second one. "And why are you covered in paint?"
Both clones started talking at once, overlapping each other as they complained about what had happened to them. This only caused confusion for the third clone.
"Enough!" he told them. Pinching his brow, he let out a vent before looking back up at them. "We are getting nowhere with this."
"Perhaps instead of looking for Megatron, we should have him come to us," the first clone suggested.
"We should lure him to the bridge and strike there," the second clone added.
"Then let us make haste," the third said, "we will contact the other two and have them meet us there. It is time to end Megatron once and for all."
The other two nodded in agreement before all three walked off towards the bridge.
After driving around in a circle, Stormracer soon realized she was lost. Coming to a stop, she transformed and looked around. "Now where did Bulkhead go?" she asked herself. She started walking over to the hall perpendicular to hers, unaware of someone else walking towards her from that hall.
Megatron walked down the corridor towards the conjoined hallways, right where Stormracer was heading. But just when it seemed like the femme was about to be discovered, a voice came in through the warlord's commlink.
"Lord Megatron," the vehicon spoke.
Megatron stopped inches away from the corner and answered. "Yes, what is it?"
"We have an intruder."
"Autobot?"
"Starscream. He was last seen in the vicinity of the bridge."
Frowning, the decepticon leader turned around and headed back down the direction he came from. Seconds after he left, Stormracer stepped out and walked down the other direction, both unaware of each other's presence.
Stormracer walked around for a while before screeching to a halt and ducking behind the corner. Poking her head around, her optics widened. Standing in the hallway talking to a couple vehicons was a well-built mech with red optics and a shiny red paint job. Her spark was beating loudly in her chest as she checked him out. She even felt her legs turn to jelly as she leaned against the wall. "Woooow," she quietly said as she swooned over the red mech. He was the most handsome bot she ever saw... that she could remember anyway.
Soon as the vehicons left, the red con turned his back to her as he worked on his data pad. Stormracer looked at him for a moment. He wasn't like the other bots looking for her. It would be okay for her to say hi to him, right? Maybe he knew where Bulkhead was hiding. Stepping out from behind her hiding spot, she inched her way towards him. He didn't seem to hear her approaching as he typed away on his data pad. With his back still turned, Stormracer reached over to tap him on the shoulder. But before she could, she yelped as someone grabbed her from behind and pulled her away.
Hearing a yelp behind him, Knock Out snapped his head up and turned around, only to see no one there. He glanced around in confusion. He could have sworn he heard... no it couldn't have been her. Thinking he was hearing things, he shook his head and walked away.
Hiding around the corner, Bulkhead peaked to make sure the coast was clear. He then brought his attention to Stormracer and checked to make sure she was okay. "Are you alright?! Are you hurt?! Wait, why are you covered in paint?"
Stormracer smiled. "Hey! I thought I lost you! Where've you been?"
"Looking for you!" he said with a frown. "You shouldn't have wondered off like that! You had me worried sick! What were you even doing?"
"Having fun! I got to press a bunch of buttons, paint the place up, I even found out I have this!" She activated her claw to show him.
Bulkhead stared at her as he processed what she said. It wasn't long before he frowned again and lowered her arm down. "Okay, new rule; no wondering off again. Got it?"
"Okey dokey!" she said with a salute.
Bulkhead vented as he grabbed her by the servo. "Come on. let's go."
After some more wondering, Bulkhead finally found a hatch leading to the service duct. "Here we go," he said. Grabbing the hatch, he pulled it with all his might before ripping it off its hinges. He looked inside, seeing it was big enough for a bot his size. "Alright, let's get out of here." He then heard the sound of metal hitting metal, making him turn around to see Stormracer banging a pipe and a wrench on some crates as if they were drums.
"You got the touch! You got the poweeeeeeeer!" Stormracer sang as she continued playing what she thought was music.
Needing her to be quiet, Bulkhead went over and grabbed the pipe. "Shhh! Didn't I say you have to be quiet?"
"Oh, right!" she said with a big smile.
Bulkhead vented. "Come on, let's get out of here."
Stormracer's smile disappeared as she looked at him sadly. "Aww, but I like it here! Can't we stay a little longer? Pleeeeeeeeeeeease!" She pleaded as she gave him the sad pound puppy eyes.
"Absolutely not! Now let's go home."
Stormracer whined but followed after Bulkhead. "Okaaay... Um, where's home again?"
"Trust me, it's a lot nicer than this place," Bulkhead said as they climbed into the small space. As they crawled around in the service duct, they soon heard a buzzing sound getting louder and louder. Both looked around in confusion.
"What's that?" Stormracer asked.
"No clue," Bulkhead said.
After a while of crawling around, it wasn't until Bulkhead noticed a couple miners watching a large computer screen, revealing what was happening up top the warship. Bulkhead's optics widened at what he saw. A horde of insecticons were fighting Megatron as they surrounded him. But before they could strike the war lord, they all stopped and bowed down to him. "Forgive us, our one true lord and master!"
"That's not good," Bulkhead said worryingly.
"Ooh, what movie are they watching?" Stormracer asked curiously.
"Come on, we gotta keep moving."
"Aww, but I want to see how the movie ends."
"Now, Storm!"
The femme whined but followed after him.
After what felt like forever, they stumbled upon a hatch at the bottom of the duct. Bulkhead pounded his fist on it a few times before it opened, allowing him to fall from the high ceiling. Soon as he landed on his pedes, he looked around to make sure the coast was clear. "Okay, so far so g-"
"LOOK OUT BELOOOOOOOOOOOW!" Stormracer shouted as she jumped down from the ceiling.
"WHOA!" Bulkhead exclaimed as he immediately caught her before she could hit the floor.
The femme let out a laugh as she cheered. "What a rush! Can we do that again?!"
Bulkhead groaned as he set her down, already knowing Ratchet was going to peel off his paint once he saw her. Seeing they were on a platform, he looked down to see the ship's power core fueling itself with energon. Studying it, he decided to try something. "We may have to," he told Stormracer, "Wait up here and stay clear." He then activated his wrecking ball. "Well, one way or another, we're getting off this boat!" With that said, he jumped down with his wrecking ball aimed at the core.
BOOM!
Explosions went off on the power core soon after Bulkhead hit it. With it now broken, Bulkhead landed on the floor before looking up at Stormracer. "Okay, jump down!"
"WHOOHOOOO!" Stormracer shouted as she jumped off the platform. Just then the power core released another explosion. The blast sent Stormracer flying to the side, making her collide into the wall. She blacked out soon as her head hit the wall before falling to the floor.
"Storm!" Bulkhead shouted worryingly as he ran over to her. Seeing her unconscious, he groaned. "Oh no, not again!" Feeling the ship diving down, he scooped her up bridal style and hurried out the room.
He found it hard to run as the ship jerked around at an angle. He immediately ducked behind a corner as two vehicons ran past him. Once they were gone, he continued running. It wasn't until he heard a groan that he stopped, making him look down to see Stormracer waking up. "Storm?"
"Ow, my head," she said as she placed her servo on her helm. "What hit me?" She looked up at Bulkhead. "Bulkhead? What happened?" She looked around in confusion. "Wait, are we on the Nemesis?" She looked down at herself. "Why am I covered in paint?" The ship shook again, surprising her even more. "What's happening?!"
Relieved she was back to normal, Bulkhead let out a chuckle. "Glad to have you back."
"Aw, thanks," she said before looking at him questionably, "wait, where did I go?"
"I'll explain later. Right now we need to keep moving." Still carrying her, Bulkhead continued running. It wasn't long before they reached a doorway. Though soon after they entered, Bulkhead stopped as Starscream tripped over his pede.
The seeker got back up and glared at him. "Out of my way!"
Stormracer was shocked to see him. "Starscream?!"
"And you stay away from me!" He warned her. Running off while holding his side, Starscream transformed and flew off through the open hatch leading to outside.
Both Stormracer and Bulkhead stared in disbelief as the ex con fled.
"I am so confused right now," the femme said.
"You and me both," the wrecker said.
It wasn't long before the Nemesis hit the ground, making Bulkhead grab hold of the wall as Stormracer clung to him. The ship skidded across the landscape, tearing up the ground in its way before coming to a stop right at the edge of a cliff.
Once the ship had stopped moving, Bulkhead let go of the wall and set Stormracer down. "Can you drive?" he asked.
"I think so," she said.
The two transformed and drove off in a hurry out the exit. Soon as they were outside, they drove down the ship and put pedal to the metal once they were on the ground, leaving the grounded warship behind.
Once they were far away, Bulkhead let out a vent of relief. "Phew! Glad to be out of there."
"What happened?" Stormracer asked, "last thing I remember was finding boxed energon."
"We both blacked out and were transported onto the Nemesis along with the energon. Thankfully the cons didn't notice us."
"Was I out the whole time?"
"Uuuh, yes and no."
"... Say what now?"
After a long explanation, the two autobots soon returned to base. Once inside, they sped down the corridor and entered the main hangar to find everyone else there.
"You guys are not going to believe the day we just had!" Bulkhead said after he and Stormracer transformed. Both then did a double take as they saw Airachnid frozen inside a stasis pod. "Oh, you too, huh?"
Ratchet looked at his assistant questionably. "Why are you covered in paint?"
Stormracer only shrugged.
And that was Armada! I enjoyed writing Stormracer in this one and I hope you all got a kick out of it. Did you notice any references in this chapter? Let me know if you recognized any lol.
Stormracer will be sitting out for Flying Mind so the chapter will focus more on the humans. But don't worry, Stormracer will be all ready for the relic episodes. Thanks for reading and I hope to update again soon. Until next time! God bless!
