Parvana: The Most Breathtaking and Spectacular Tigress Chapter 6

Even though their group is now safe from the humans in animal control chasing them there still isn't a reason for them to relax just yet despite being so tired and exhausted.

Right now they have to convince their apparent saviors not to throw them off the train.

Vitaly, Stefano, and Gia are on one side of the train car while Alex, Marty, Gloria, Melman, and Parvana are on the other. There's an awkward silence that's dominant inside the space as Stefano takes this time to light a small gas lamp so all of them can see each other better as they converse. And somehow Vitaly slowly twirling a knife in between the claws on one paw does make the already tense atmosphere even more stifling.

Hoping to break the ice building, Stefano said "Wow! Circus Americano! You must all be very famous!"

Parvana wouldn't exactly say that.

The only one out of all of them that relatively owns any semblance of fame is Alex. And even that is pushing it. The five of them all know this.

So as Alex, Gloria, Melman, and Alex all struggle to explain Alex's act to an overexcited Stefano, Parvana simply keeps to her corner as her friendly foolheartedly stumbles over an explanation. Just listening to it all makes her seriously doubt they're going to be on this train for very long. Especially when Alex seems to play it off as a high-risk trapeze act. It certainly doesn't do any favors when the rest of them add their dangerous bits to the mix.

At one point Parvana briefly meets Vitaly's gaze, but averts hers just as quickly to avoid drawing his attention towards her altogether, keen on ignoring him.

From her vantage point Parvana can tell that Vitaly isn't buying any of them bullshit, but Gia and Stefano, on the other hand, that is a different story.

The duo's interest peaks as soon as trapeze is mentioned.

"Wow! Trapeze Americano! Hey, I have a great idea! Maybe you come with us to Roma," offers Stefano, eagerly.

Less than a second a knife flies in front of his face and implants in the door directly beside it, courtesy of Vitaly.

All five of them gasped at this action.

Stefano and Gia appear to be used to Vitaly's temper-tantrum antics.

Chuckling nervously, Stefano said "Vitaly is just playing around. He is good, no?"

Sputtering a bit as he smiled somewhat sheepishly, Alex said "Yeah, thanks. Thanks. But, you know, we're going to get off at the next stop, so we can get back to America."

Vitaly seems to take this revelation in stride until Stefano opens his big mouth again much to the male tiger's infinite displeasure.

"That is such a coincidence! Because we're going," said Stefano, getting cut off with another knife getting lodged in front of his face. Stefano keeps trying, but Vitaly refuses to allow him to until the sea lion finally snaps. "Let me finish! We're going to America as well!"

"What," said Marty, beaming at the news.

Everyone else is just as excited at the prospect.

"America!"

"No way."

"You're going to America?"

"Wow! When,'' presses Alex.

"After Roma, we go to London. And then a big-time promotor will see us and then send us to New York," said Stefano, grinning.

"You're going to New York," said Parvana, not quite believing their luck.

Shrugging, solemn, Gia said "Well only if he likes what he sees."

"New York? Seriously? That's our home! That's where we live," explains Alex.

Clapping his flippers together, Stefano said "Isn't that fun?"

"Can we go with you," asked Marty.

Nodding, Stefano said "Sure! You can bunk with Vitaly!"

A suggestion Vitaly certainly does not concur with.

In response, Vitaly launches a various array of blades at the group of five. One over Gloria's head, one trapping Melman's neck, two on both sides of Marty's head, one between Alex's legs, and one over Parvana's head same as Gloria, in quick succession.

Parvana will give him this. Vitaly has got good aim.

"Whoa," squeaked Alex, terrified.

"Or not," said Stefano.

"No," spat Vitaly, stalking menacingly towards the friends.

"Oh no. I don't think Vitaly likes that idea. What's he going to do," said Stefano, nibbling his flippers anxiously.

Motioning at both Marty and Alex, Vitaly demands "Which one of you is leader?"

As payback for earlier Marty is all too happy to make it abundantly clear Alex has this honor.

Getting straight into Alex's personal space, Vitaly snarled "Tell your comrades there is one rule we do not break!"

Standing on top of the spear that had been thrown at him, hoping to gain some height on the tiger, Alex sputtered "Thou shalt say it and not spray it?"

Neck cracking as he stands at his full height, teeth bared, growling darkly, Vitaly said "No! Circus owner no allow stowaways!"

Parvana has had enough of this guy's smug attitude. Unlike the other, she isn't as intimidated by him. Parvana proves this by charging at Vitaly and shoving him away from Alex. She stands protectively in front of Alex, teeth bared in warning at Vitaly.

Before the alpha male tiger can retaliate something unexpected happens.

A chainsaw suddenly breaks through the roof, cutting a small hole in the wood. The sliced portion drops unveiling Skipper and his entourage. Turns out they'd been listening, eavesdropping on the whole encounter.

"I hear you, Russki," said Skipper, slyly. "Although the circus owner may allow stowaways if the stowaways just happen to be the owners. Riddle me that."

"What is sharply dressed little birdie talking about," said Vitaly, brow raised in confusion.

"Show them, boys," said Skipper, gesturing at the Chimps peering down at them through the hole in the roof.

They then shook a very full purse, the contents jingling.

Just what are they up to this time?

Especially those in multi-million dollar companies that rely on certain elements of our planet that we rely on to naturally keep us safe instead of adapting and finding new safer ways to keep in business. There are so many options out there where they can adapt, but they just refuse to see it because all they care about is money. Climate change is altering so much faster than anyone can really keep track of.

So, in light of all this, it is important to live life to the fullest as much as anyone can.
