"It's quite marvelous to be back, isn't it Mr. Prongs?" "Oh it is indeed Mr. Padfoot. The weather is lovely as usual." "Yes, yes. I quite agree."
"Do you agree Mr. Moony? Mr. Wormtail?" Both nodded vigorously before exchanging glances and bursting into laughter.
"I'm so glad it's Tuesday today!" Sirius exclaimed with a grin.
"And why is that Mr. Padfoot?" Peter asked curiously. The others nodded, their curiosity shone brightly in their eyes.
"Tuesdays are my lucky days. It means something awesome will happen….. liiiike, Professor Dumbledore's speech will be shorter or Prongsie boy will finally get Lily flower to go out with him so he can stop being so bloody annoying all the time."
He sighed. "If only."
"HEY! I am not annoying…."
At that moment, Lily and her best friend Alice entered the compartment.
"Hello there Lily. You are looking lovely on this beautiful fall morning. Would you care to grace me with your presence on the first Hogsmeade weekend?"
She completely ignored him and left the compartment without even a glance towards the four boys.
"Heyyy." He whined. "She didn't even look at me that time. How bloody unfair. I mean, I am too devilishly handsome for her not to look at me."
The others stared at him in amusement. James looked around confused. "What? What did I do? Jeez Sirius. I guess Tuesdays are only your lucky day. Mine are only very confusing."
He slumped back puzzled. Moments later, roaring laughter could be heard from their compartment.
James was still confused.
~In the future~
Fifteen year olds Harry James Potter hurriedly packed everything he owned into his terribly large eight compartment trunk, and raced to Professor Dumbledores office.
He halted abruptly beside his Professor's portrait and leaned against the wall, breathing heavily.
He didn't notice the other figure in the room.
"Sorry I'm late Professor. I had some last minute packing to do."
"No problem at all my boy. You were right on time. Now you are completely sure you want to go into the past, correct?
Remember, if you go you'll be stuck there. I'm not saying you can't travel back. If you do come back, no one will remember you. There will be a different Harry in your place."
Harry sighed sadly. "I've got nothing to lose. I've lost pretty much everyone. Going back is not for my happiness. It's for everyone else's.
I-I don't expect to live long after he's dead. To be honest with you Professor, I'm tired. I'm tired of everything. I just want to rest."
"You can rest, but I'm certainly not going to let you die."
Harry whipped around to see Draco Malfoy standing behind him. "Malfoy, what….? How long have you been standing there?" His face flushed in embarrassment.
Malfoy smirked proudly. "The whole time." His face turned serious though, after his moment of gloating.
"But seriously Potter. You need a bloody keeper." "I don't need a keeper!" He threw back indignantly.
Professor Dumbledore looked on sadly. "I'm afraid you do Harry. Draco will be going with you to help you defeat Voldemort and be a friendly face for you. Though now that I thought of it, he will also make sure you don't do anything drastic."
Harry scowled.
"Now my boys, if you will look on my desk you will see several items. The first items are two necklaces."
Harry gazed over at the desk. Sure enough, there were two silver necklaces with a locket on each. He carefully slipped one around his neck, as did Draco, and looked at Professor Dumbledore questioningly.
"These lockets have emergency portkeys them." He explained. "Each one has a different passcode that allows access to your necklace. Harry, yours is treacle tart. Draco, yours is cinnamon twist. Just tap it with your wand and say the password.
Now, on to the next item. I've tinkered a bit with Muggle technology and have found that most possess these things called phones.
It is a most marvelous invention, and a perfect way for you to be able to communicate secretly. It has this thing called texting where you can write each other messages, it is very much like sending an owl, but the other receives the message instantly.
There's other features that will come in handy as well, but I won't go into all of it. That would take too much time. Though I will tell you two of them.
First, you are able to track each other's location so you'll never lose one another.
Second, you can also take pictures. I do expect that you have some fun on your mission as well, and this will be the perfect way to capture memories."
Professor Dumbledore beamed. Harry began to doubt Dumbledore's sanity.
"Go on my boys. Go retrieve your devices."
They carefully picked up their new phones and looked at them over curiously. They were pocket sized, and fit well in their robes pocket.
"Very good. Harry my boy, do You have the paperwork I've instructed you to give my past self?"
"I do Professor." "Simply magnificent my boy! Now I do believe it's about time for you to get on your journey.
Oh! Silly me, I almost forgot! Harry, your new name is Harry Peverel and Draco, you are Draco White.
Now grab the time turner on my desk. Put it around your necks and hold tight your trunks. Ready my boys?"
They nodded determinately. "Splendid! 3, 2, 1!"
The room began to spin, and Harry grabbed Draco's hand, squeezing it tightly. The room started to blur before everything went dark.
