We're back on chapter twenty-six.

At the Sato Estate, Korra, Asami and Varrick gathered together. Korra was still holding the potion that can help her speak with the first Avatar.

"Korra, are you sure you can go through this?" Asami asked.

"It's my only chance." Korra said.

"How are you gonna speak with this Raava with that?" Varrick asked.

"I guess I have to drink this." Korra said.

"I don't know. Mako sure made his point about this thing." Varrick said.

"You're as bad as Mako. Taking sides." Korra scoffed.

"No, no. I mean I'm with you on this. But I am worried for you." Korra said.

"I'll be fine." Korra said. "If Sarlaq said this can help me, I can trust him."

"Because he's your uncle?" Varrick asked.

"Okay, I don't really trust him, but we need an ally to defeat Unalaq." Korra said.

"Korra, if you drink this, won't it kill you?" Asami asked.

"I could take my chances." Korra said before sighing. "This is for my family."

Korra drinks the potion. She lays on the bed. She got in deep sleep and then she starts chanting the name.

"Raava. Raava. Raava."

As she opens them, she was in a dreamworld, surrounded by a purple light. She was looking at her own image, engulfed in a blue light.

"Who are you?" Korra asked.

"I am you." Korra's image said.

Korra's image ripples and is replaced by Aang's. "I am always you as you are all the Avatars."

"Aang, what am I gonna do with Unalaq and Vaatu?" Korra asked.

Aang's image ripples and changes into Roku's. "In order to prevent them from completing their dark plans, you must regain your connection with your Avatar Spirit."

Roku's image ripples and changes into Kyoshi's. "If you don't, darkness will engulf the world. You will die, and our era will end."

"How do I regain my connection?" Korra asked.

Kyoshi's image ripples and changes into Kuruk's. "Go, Korra. Find Wan and Raava."

Korra was pushed away from Kuruk by a strong current of water and bubbles. She frowns in discomfort as her body flips around, but the current quickly stops.

Korra turns around and sees Wan, the very first and original Avatar in front of a circle of light.

"Are you Wan?" she asked.

"Yes I am." Wan answered before something was behind him.

It was Raava, the Great Spirit of Light and Harmony. She flew to Korra.

"Hello, Korra." Raava said.

"Raava, I've made a mistake. I let Unalaq manipulate me, and I opened the southern spirit portal." Korra explained. "What can I do to prevent Harmonic Convergence to come?"

"Close the portal, of course." Raava said.

"But I need an army to aid my tribe, but the President is doing nothing." Korra said.

"You'll just have to enter the Avatar State." Wan said.

"I'll need Tenzin's help." Korra said.

"And be careful, Korra. Vaatu's darkness is spreading quickly." Raava said.

"There's one more question I want to know. How did you two fused and started the cycle?" Korra said.

Wan conjured a vison of him running with a confident grin and a bag in his hand from the Chou Brothers.

"I wasn't always a bender. I was only a street rat. Kinda like your friends, Mako and Bolin." Wan said.

"Mako is not my friends anymore." Korra said grouchily.

"Right. Ahem, anyway…"

The vison shows the time when Wan was given firebending from a fire lion turtle.

"I tricked the lion turtle of my village to gain fairebending. I started a rebellion, but it was a failure. I was banished, but the lion turtle let me keep my bending. I made a friend, a cat derr named Mula."

The vison shows Wan living peacefully in the Spirit World.

"The spirits befriended me and let me live in their valley. But I went out to see the rest of the world and find the other lion turtle cities."

"But that was when he found us." Raava said.

The next vison shows Raava and Vaatu battling. And Wan recklessly interrupted the battle, freeing Vaatu from Raava.

"This is Vaatu? He looks like you." Korra said. "Are there more like you and Vaatu?"

"Only us. Vaatu and I are opposites sides of one powerful being of twilight. We split into two after the last Harmonic Convergence with ancient enemies. And Vaatu and I have been battling each other ever since. He would bring darkness to the world, destroy it, and remake it in his own image of chaos."

"But I have to help by gaining all elements." Wan said. "That's an interesting story."

The vison shows Raava passes through his body. After he regains his composure, he sends out a burst of air. And a water lion turtle gives Wan the power of water. Wan immediately raises some water. Then the earth lion turtle was rising and giving Wan the power of earth.

"That's how the Avatar mastered four elements." Korra said.

"Yes, and on Harmonic Convergence, we've battled Vaatu." Wan said.

The visions shows Wan merging with Raava and fight against Vaatu. Therefore, sealing him in the Tree of Time and the Spirit of Darkness was trapped forever. Wan closed the portals so no one can free Vaatu.

"The spirits must stop fighting with humans and return to their home in the Spirit World. I will teach men to respect the spirits so that balance will be maintained. Different groups of people must learn to live together. This was my mission: To use Raava's light spirit to guide the world toward peace. I became the bridge between our two worlds."

"And the Avatar cycle started." Korra said.

"Yes, Korra. Interesting, is it?" Raava asked.

"Well, yeah." Korra said.

"And every Avatar brought balance to the world." Raava said. "Even you."

"But I let this happen. I opened the portal, so Unalaq would fuse with Vaatu and become a Dark Avatar." Korra said in regret. "How can I stop darkness from spreading?"

"Korra, light has always shines to the world, but darkness spreads around it. But it did not stop our cycle to maintain the balance." Wan said.

The visons shows Wan was using the four elements to separate the fighting parties which are distinguished by red and blue flags.

"The universe through which we wander"

"Are wonderful and strange"

"The only truth we could really know"

"Is that everything will change"

"The Avatar is what means"

"For a brand-new age"

Raava flew above the past Avatars whose eyes were glowing pure white in the Avatar State.

"Like the rain that fills the ocean"

Like the storm that shakes the pine"

"Like the facts of neutrality"

All the Avatars stared at Korra, while Wan placed his hands on his current reincarnation's shoulder.

Raava and Wan: "We are part of the design"

"Of the cosmic reality"

Meanwhile, at the Spirit World, in the Tree of Time, Vaatu was circling in the tree, thinking about his moment once Harmonic Convergence will come once the northern spirit portal would open.

"Darkness shall spread forever!"

"And I am growing stronger"

"I will rise from my prison"

"And to the higher sky where I belong"

"I must fight for what belongs to me"

"Which is known as immortality"

"I am always the master of my own reality"

Back in the Avatar zone, Raava merged with Wan. And he and the other Avatars entered the Avatar State.

"The land no more belongs to us"

"And the spirits own the sky"

Back in the Tree of Time, Vaatu's imprint glowed brighter red as he was starting to gain more strengths.

"Raava will not win for her survival"

"And the Avatar will truly die!"

Back in the zone, Aang walked to Korra, and showed her each memory of the Avatar lives.

"We are one with what surrounds us"

"Spiritual to all we see"

Back in the Spirit World, dark spirits gathered around the tree.

"We are dark spirits; we destroy what is light"

"To stay alive and free"

Back in the zone, the Avatars morphed into pure light of Raava and merged in Korra's body.

"The one thing we will surely learn"

"As we walk the path of time"

"No one can ever rise above"

Vaatu's image appeared in the zone.

"I am Vaatu, the master of…"

Raava's image also appeared behind Korra who standed in the Avatar State.

Raava and Korra: "We are all a part"

Vaatu and Korra: "Of the cosmic"

Korra, Avatars, Raava and Vaatu: "Reality"

The vision fades to Korra's closed eyes that suddenly shoot open, glowing a bright white. As she jolts up, little white beams shooting out of her eyes. She gasps for air, and the light in her eyes stop.

Asami and Varrick were surprised with the beams.

"Wow, I wish Zhu Li was here to film this." Varrick said.

"What did the first Avatar say, Korra?" Asami asked.

"I have to go to the eastern Air Temple immediately." Korra determined.

You know, I prefer the thing when Korra didn't lose her memory, instead, she would wake up learning about Raava and Vaatu. You think that's multiversal, I think it's multiversal.
