Arc: Strange Inhabitants
Chapter: 1
Synopsis
Goku, Broly, Vegeta, and Bulma accompany Jaco and his team to search a planet because of an unknown power surge. When they get there, they are met with some shocking, but useful, news that could benefit them for years to come.
But what happens when it becomes a burden? When the very thing that benefits them becomes the thing that traps them? What would occur?
Well, find out when you read the new installment of the "LEGENDARY" series, "Verolku the Warlord"!

Also, this is a re-make story for a what if I made about 3 years ago, and I'm trying to see if I have improved in my story telling since then)
There will be many installments of the multiverse that is "LEGENDARY", and any story that has "LEGENDARY:" in it, then you can consider that a part of the big story.
Also, you are always allowed (at least for now), by me to create your own version of any character or any story in the LEGENDARY series, because I love to see what the imagination can come up with when given a mere concept. You have to credit me tho! Credit me with:

I do not own Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Kai, Dragon Ball Super, or any of its other variants. I also do not own the concept of a triple fusion between the three Saiyans; Goku, Vegeta, and Broly. I do, however, own my unique spin on the character and its personality. I also own my OCs and other skills not seen in the Dragon Ball verse.
All scenes in this story are entirely fictional and made from my mind. If things in here you see that are not mentioned in the original story, think of it as an AU of sorts.
Finally, R.I.P Akira Toriyama. You will always be remembered in the hearts of us Dragon Ball fans.
Deep in space, a spaceship would be seen.
"Thanks for agreeing to come along and check out this new power surge with me, guys!" a certain Galactic Patrolman would say.
"No problem Jaco, I still owe you for last time!" A blue-haired scientist would tell him. "Yeah, don't sweat it! Plus, there may be strong foes to fight! I'm all for that!" A certain spiky-haired Saiyan would exclaim, excited for their new adventure. "Oh quiet, Kakarot. Nothing in this universe can even touch the prince of Saiyans!" A very prideful prince would claim.
This spaceship holds all of the universe's most powerful warriors
…well, maybe not all of them.
Bulma, Vegeta, and Son Goku are with Jaco investigating a power surge on a planet on the outskirts of the universe. The Galactic Patrol's sensors sensed a high spike in ki on an unnamed planet. Jaco was deployed to investigate this ki spike, but Jaco was not strong enough, so he went to Earth and asked Bulma for help.
*Flashback*
At the Galactic Patrol's headquarters.
BEEP!
BEEP!
BEEP!
"BUU ALERT! BUU ALERT! Universal level threat detected." A monotonous voice reverberated throughout the headquarters.
"BUU ALERT! BUU ALERT! Universal level threat detected."
"Sir! A new power has been detected on all of our routers. We predict it to quadruple the amount of power of kid buu!" a small green guy wearing what looks to be rebranded Saiyan armor said,
"What? Quadruple the amount of power of kid buu!? Where in the universe could such power exist!?" a man yelled out, a sweat drop on his forehead forming.
"Are you sure it's not one of those Saiyan warriors on the planet Earth?" a woman questioned, doubtful of the possibility of a threat that strong.
"Positive. The location shows it's somewhere near the old Cold Force district a few quadrillion light years away from Earth!" the green man said, bowing in formality.
"But that still doesn't eliminate the possibility of those Saiyans being the culprit! Can't one of them teleport? And isn't Lord Beerus acquainted with them?" a man doubted with neutrality.
"Well, we have updated our routers to exclude the powers of Goku and Vegeta and their offspring. And none else could have that amount of power, even if one of their spawns were to power up to the next level" the green man said.
"That means this is an entirely new entity. Get the investigation team ready and tell them to set off to observe any potential threats on and around the planet!" a woman ordered.
"Yes ma'am, will do."
Suddenly, the tablet in his hand beeped. It had stopped. That was bizarre. How could a power such as that stop? The only possibility that could happen was if the power had god ki.
Everyone in the room had realized this, and it had made the situation more grave than it was previously.
*Galactic Patrol Cafeteria*
Many different kinds of species would be seen. Jaco is found amongst these species.
"Investigation team leader, Jaco. Your presence has been requested." a woman with royal blue skin and magenta hair sporting Galactic Patrol gear informed Jaco. "Oh, ok," Jaco replied, confused about why he was needed. He was taken to the mission brief room and was told the details of his mission by his superior; a tall Namekian wearing an all-black turtleneck. After leaving, he met up with his crew and left out into space.
"Leader Jaco, what's the plan?" a woman with pale pink skin and white hair asked, wearing traditional Galactic Patrol gear.
"The threat is said to quadruple the power of Majin Buu, even in his kid form. That is not a level we can currently contend with, even with all of our training. You all wait here while I return with help!" Jaco ordered. "Yes, sir!" They all replied.
Jaco left out of a secondary ship and headed to Earth.
Landing on Earth, the z warriors spotted Jaco's spaceship flying towards them at high speeds. Krillin, Yamcha, and Piccolo were sitting a few feet away from Bulma; the latter not noticing the spaceship. Bulma had only spotted Jaco after the wind from his ship landing blew her sun umbrella over.
She was surprised to see him. Lately, Jaco had only come at times when the matter was important or there had been a grave danger. Something like Moro, and Bulma had been dreading the day of something like that guy surfacing similarly. Though, with all of her experience, she has grown to be more optimistic, yet cautious.
As Jaco approached her and the z warriors, a tremendous amount of severity covered the atmosphere, and they could feel Jaco's desperation. They all moved closer to Bulma, seeing as that was the location Jaco was going to, and waited.
"Bulma!" Jaco exclaimed with clear uneasiness. "Yes, Jaco?" Bulma questioned, hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. "I need Goku and Vegeta to come with me for a mission!"
"Why? What's going on?!" Bulma asked, now curious to see the problem. "There's only so little time to explain! All I can tell you right now is that Galactic Patrol sensed a power that quadrupled that of Buu, and we need warriors strong enough to help!" Jaco said, urgency evident in his voice. The z warriors present all exclaimed in surprise. Buu was a threat unimaginable when they first fought him. Although they have gotten stronger since then and have faced stronger foes- like Beerus- none of them, other than Piccolo, are confident that they can fully take on someone who is thought to quadruple the power of Buu.
Bulma panicked. Double the power of Buu, and you get a recipe for disaster! Quadruple the power of Buu, and clusters of galaxies drop dead like flies. This was news that needed to be announced, otherwise the entire universe could be in danger at the flick of her fingers.
Luckily, Bulma had a megaphone with her. Because she was so far away from the two Saiyans, she doubted that they would hear her if she just yelled. Guess it came in handy this time. She put her mouth to the short end and shouted out, "Hey, you two! Enough of your sparring! Jaco is here for something, and it's important!"
Goku and Vegeta stopped their spar.
They had been fighting for 5 hours without break, punches after punches. They hadn't tapped into Super Saiyan solely because they wanted to see how powerful they could get with base. Though, secretly, Vegeta hadn't transformed because Goku hadn't transformed.
The current location was one where they could work up the best sweat. They were next to an active Volcano, though Bulma could not deal with the temperatures so she moved to the tropical Island 1000 miles away.
Flying at high speeds, Vegeta and Goku got there in an instant, sweating profusely. Though the volcano lava could do nothing to harm them, it still was hot enough to where they would sweat after a few hours of being exposed.
"What do you want, woman?!" The prince of the Saiyans questioned, annoyed that his training was interrupted. "Yeah, what is it, Bulma?" our lighthearted Saiyan asked, grabbing a towel from Bulma's bag and wiping his face with it.
"Jaco, tell them what's going on," Bulma said, signaling Jaco to speak. "There's no time for that! I can tell you the rest of the details on the ship. All I'll say is that I need youisp with a mission! Galactic Patrol sensed a spike of power that quadrupled the amount Buu had and I need your help to investigate!" Jaco said, speaking fast for obvious reasons. Goku looked on with fascination as Vegeta looked unfazed.
"Is that it? I've faced stronger foes in my dreams." Vegeta said, stricken with non-care. He has come so far since Buu, that even an opponent quintupling his power is not even a challenge for him. Vegeta thinks that 4 times the power of Buu is simply four Buu's, and he knows that he can take that amount of power with ease, barely needing to go into Super Saiyan.
Goku, on the other hand, has different ideas. "Oh wow, so he's strong right!? He may be able to be a good sparring partner! Yeah, I'll Join you!" Goku said, optimistic about this now "adventure". Vegeta made an exclaim in surprise, glaring at Goku for a few seconds. "I'm going as well!" Vegeta said after glaring. Jaco was ecstatic and took Vegeta and Goku to the ship. "Wait!" Bulma yelled as she ran towards them. Everyone present was surprised at such an act. "I wanna come as well," Bulma said, shocking everyone.
"Oh please, woman, this is not a picnic at the beach, why would you come?" Vegeta said, scowling at Bulma's actions and stepping into the ship. "Hey! Don't disrespect me damn it! I could be a valuable asset! I'm a genius, remember?!" Bulma said, yelling with rage at Vegeta. "We don't have time for this! I don't care if you come, just let's go!" Jaco said, pulling Bulma inside with Goku following.
As his ship flew off into space, Bulma finally asked, "Ok. Since we're now into space, may I ask for more details about this mission?".
"Oh, uh, sure," Jaco said, now having calmed down enough to explain. "About 7 hours ago, Galactic Patrol sensed a spike in ki more than 4 times Kid Buu's power. It caused panic among the higher-ups, and they discussed it. But get this. The power surge had mysteriously disappeared. And not like it disappeared to the upper world, or something. It was completely undetectable. Our sensors are programmed to sense any type of key in the universe, anywhere in the universe, besides god ki. So that means that the threat has god ki, making it a threat beyond our imagination. I suspect it may even be able to match your Super Saiyan god form at its peak if that is the case." Jaco said, despair leaking into his voice.
This got Goku and Vegeta more intrigued. An opponent with possible God Ki is, no matter in what form, an opponent not to be taken lightly, though they were still confident they could take it on with their abilities. Because of this explanation, Vegeta starts to think this is worthwhile, and Goku is more pumped to get to meet their opponent.
*Flashback end*
Now, Jaco is sitting in silence with his guests.
However, he was not too far away from his team. He could see the ship not too far away. "Finally," Jaco said, exasperated. He sped up and connected to the main ship.
Once they got out, he ran to the captain's seat and took control of the ship. Not having time for greetings or small talk, he took off. He has already wasted a good amount of time picking up Goku, Bulma, and Vegeta. The ship can go faster than light speeds, and the patrolmen have been trained to withstand more than that, so Jaco decided to go twice the speed of light, figuring Bulma can withstand it seeing as she's married to Vegeta. However, he decided to warn Bulma just in case.
"Uhh, Bulma," Jaco said, in a slightly awkward tone.
"Yes, Jaco?" Bulma replied nonchalantly.
"You might want to cover yourself in ki in a few seconds." Jaco said, vaguely. "What? You know I can barely use ki, much less cover myself in it. Why?" Bulma said, curious. "What? How do you not know how to use ki!? I didn't know that!" Jaco said in surprise. "I told you this years ago!" Bulma said, slightly annoyed. "No you didn't!" Jaco yelled. "Whatever! What's the reason you want me to cover myself in ki?" Bulma pressed, ticked off at Jaco's forgetfulness. "I need to go twice the speed of light to get there faster!" Jaco answered, slightly annoyed.
"WHAT!?" Bulma yelled, to the annoyance of everyone present. "Stop yelling, woman! I'll cover you in ki myself! There!" Vegeta said, annoyed at Bulma but covering her anyways. "Oh, Vegeta, I didn't know you were such a gentleman. Covering me in your ki like this. Brings back memories." Bulma, teased, much to Vegeta's embarrassment. "Nng! Shut up, or I'll throw you out into space!" Vegeta yelled at Bulma, the latter of which just chuckled, alongside Goku. The crew also had a bit of a laugh, but threats from Vegeta stopped all that.
"Ok, hold on!" Jaco said, going faster in an instant. He had gone so fast, it looked like the ship had just disappeared. In the blink of an eye, they were in proximity to their destination. Jaco had always liked this feature. It got him to where he needed to go quicker than the eye could see. He was bummed that the secondary ships hadn't gotten the feature, only having the (compared to the main ships) second-rate feature of only close to light speeds. He didn't know why they didn't add it to the secondary ships, but he was barely in a position of power to question it.
Slowing down a bit, Jaco landed onto the planet. Jaco and the Galactic Patrolman all gathered their guns and ran out of the ship. They got into a triangle position not far away from their ship. Jaco being at the forefront.
Goku, Vegeta, and Bulma stepped out, nonchalant and calm.
"Is this a joke? The strongest power level I sense here is even weaker than Zarbon. I bet even one of these Galactic clowns could take on a whole army of 'em" Vegeta said, annoyed but on the verge of laughing. "Yeah, these people are pretty weak. Are you sure you got the right planet Jaco? Even Bulma could take them on hah hah!" Goku said, chuckling at his end comment. Bulma slapped Goku on the back of his head. "I heard that Goku!" she yelled. "Ow! I'm sorry Bulma!" Goku said, rubbing the back of his head.
"But I do hope I'm not crazy. Do you feel it too Vegeta?" Goku said, getting a bit serious.
"Of course I feel it, Kakarot. It feels like Broly," Vegeta said, plainly. "So you feel it too Vegeta! Jaco, do you know why we feel Broly?" Goku said, questioning Jaco. "Well, we are a few billion light years away from Vampa. Closer than Earth, I suppose." Jaco answered with a questioning tone. "Oh wow, ok. I'll be back. Vegeta, keep them busy, would ya?" Goku said, putting 2 fingers on his head and disappearing.
"DO NOT LEAVE ME ALONE YOU CLOWN! DAMN IT!" Vegeta yelled, pissed at Goku.
Vegeta sighed. He was tired. Not exhausted, tired. He was the prince of all Saiyans, he could run around the universe for months and not get tired! He was emotionally tired. That clown had taken everything he had out of him. At least he'd be gone for a few minutes so he could have fun with the worms on this new planet.
The planet had been a very dark red with beige structures and blue oceans. The planet was big, maybe half the size of the sun, but the environment had made the evolution of Its inhabitants smaller than it normally should be, or maybe there were other factors.
Speaking of its inhabitants, there were many. A big planet meant a big population. There may have been about 3,000 times the population of Earth in just this town, Vegeta assumed. They were small (most likely 4 '3 "), and light pinkish-purple, with heads full of silver hair ranging from shoulder length to knee length in size. There were all different types of hairstyles, none the same, and some (most prominently the males) had antennas down in beard-like ways.
Vegeta rushed at one of the inhabitants and grabbed him by his collar.
"Okay, child," Vegeta said, with clear venom in his voice. "I'm 3,000 years old! I'm a teen!" Said the creature, clear sarcasm in his voice. "I don't care how old you are! I want you to tell me who's power level was that, before I blow you apart!" Vegeta would yell, charging up a ki blast. "Ok! Ok! If you put me down, I will tell you." Vegeta glared, and put him down.
"*sigh*. It was us" he said, pointing to 2 other creatures. The Galactic Patrol Investigation team-not hearing the creature- implanted a listening device into the ground, and a camera in the air and left to the surrounding planets.
Vegeta raised an eyebrow. "You three? Don't lie to me, worm." Vegeta questioned demandingly, glaring at the three creatures. "W-we're not, sir! I-I can take you to our leader so he can explain!" one of them said, closing his eyes. "Maybe we can find something valuable, Vegeta!" Bulma said, walking to the side of Vegeta, putting her elbow on his shoulder. "Hmph, whatever!" Vegeta would exclaim, crossing his arms.
"Ok little guy. 'take us to your leader', hehehe!" Bulma said, chuckling at her remark. Said guy was visibly biting his tongue at being called 'Little Guy'. With a small gesture, he motioned them to follow him, and he started to walk towards a building, bigger than all the other buildings.
While walking, people looked at them with disgust and fear as they strolled by, running away from the 5, or closing their house doors and windows. They seemed afraid. The three inhabitants seemed to not notice it, but Bulma and Vegeta could see it as clear as day.
They chose to ignore it though and keep walking. That is, until one creature decided to be bold and throw a small object. It was glass-like, and glowed green, and had strange symbols on it that were etched into it roughly, making it sharp.
Vegeta was pissed. "HOW DARE YOU!" He yelled, charging a ki blast and firing it at them. It hit them, and caused the entire building- every single building behind it in a 2000 meter radius- to disintegrate into nothingness, the planet shaking along with them. That had to kill at least a few hundred million of these creatures. The 3 creatures started to sweat from nervousness and fear, and they started to run. They ran until they all bumped into someone. It was Vegeta.
"Where do y'all think you're going?" Vegeta said, eyes glaring with a glint of frustration.
"No where! We're just- uh, running so we can get there faster!" The female creature said, if her looks were any indication of her gender.
"This is taking too long! Point me to where your leader is, now!" Vegeta threatened, much to the misfortune of the three.
"H-he's the-!" One of them pointed out, but before he could finish, they were already there in a blink of an eye.
"-leave me V-oh, nevermind." Bulma exclaimed, in quickly quelled anger. Vegeta rolled his eyes.
He had appeared in the middle of some kind of gathering. There were about 24 people, 23 of which were wearing battle armor-looking clothes. There was one who stood out, though. He looked young- like a 20 year old human- and had glowing white hair that flew gracefully in the wind. He was a lot taller than any of the other creatures they had seen, probably about 5'9 in human height. He wore gallantly-elegant clothing that matched his hair and had looked like it was made from the finest silk in all of the multiverse. It was all bright-silver. It had a kind of white double sided woolen coat, with bright-silver high-waisted pleated trousers and a white shirt. The trousers had bright golden suns on them that glittered in the light. They were wearing no shoes- just like the rest of the inhabitants weren't- and that exposed their purple feet clear of any blemishes. Simply put, they were perfectly royal.
Bulma was amazed, mesmerized by the beauty of the man in front of her. Well, she couldn't say a man, but this creature could top any male she has seen, even Vegeta can never come close to the head-turning appearance of such a stud. She stared intensely at what he was doing until a hand snapped in her face, breaking her out of her thoughts and piercing her ear drums.
"Aw, shit!" Bulma exclaimed, covering her ears and closing her eyes. The ringing in her ears was unbearable, and she scratched the inside in order to stop it. Once it stopped after a minute, she opened her eyes. Vegeta was standing over her, eyes looking down on her as she got up off the floor she never knew she was on.
"Get up and stop staring. Kakarot is here." Vegeta said, disregarding her actions. "Ow, Vegeta. You sure you aren't mad at the 'blatant infidelity of the princess of the Saiyans' or something?" Bulma teased. Vegeta sneered. "Of course not, the prince of the Saiyans would never stoop so low as to get mad at the pathetic looks of some low-life, even if his wife liked them." He scoffed, feeling absurd at the implications and bullcrap his wife was spouting.
"Whatever you say, my pri- oh what the heck!" Bulma yelled in surprise as she backed up into someone she didn't recognize. As she looked back, she was frozen in shock. There was this huge muscular man in front of her, black eyes meeting blue ones as he stared at her intimidatingly. 'Who on Kami's Earth is this, and why is he so scary?' she thought, backing a few steps away.
"Hey Bulma! This is Broly, the guy I was telling you about! He's really strong, and I brought him here for…uh, I don't know, eheheheheh."
"HE'S BROLY!?" Bulma screamed, sweating profusely from fear.
"Who are you?" The man in white said, backing up a few steps in order to get some distance. He had been immensely cautious ever since that run-in with a certain God of destruction.
*Flashback*
"Are you sure this is the right planet Whis?" A large purple cat questioned, flying above a dark red planet.
"I'm fairly certain, my lord. You wanted a challenge, and from what I've seen, these warriors have a good ability to give you one." The recipient- named Whis-replied, flying above the same planet.
"It better be!" the cat replied before flying down past the atmosphere, Whis following right after.
Landing on the ground in front of a big building, they are greeted with a large structure of a building, along with a small hut not-so far away from it.
"My Lord, the leader of this town is in that building right there." Whis said, pointing to said building, directing him to go there.
They both teleported into the building, scaring all the residents within. There were only 5 people in what appears to be the Cold Force armor, but with a few differences. The base material was jet-black, having an appearance similar to that of a block of katchin. Other than that, there were no other visible changes. The "leader" was in the same armor, and was pointing a sword at the god of destruction and the angel Whis.
"Who are you?!" He asks, inching his sword a bit closer.
"Inch any closer, mortal, and I'll cut off your arm" the god of destruction threatened, narrowing his eyes dangerously. Though the creatures had no idea who this specimen was, they instinctively backed down and cowarded away a bit. "My, my, Lord Beerus, you do have a knack for threatening new species." Whis said, chuckling slightly.
"This is Lord Beerus, the god of destruction for this Universe."
*Flashback end*
'They teleported in exactly like he did a few millennia ago' the leader thought, narrowing his eyes with suspicion.
"We'll be asking the questions here," Vegeta said, flashing a devilish smirk towards the man in white, "are you the king of this world?" Vegeta asked, stepping closer for dramatic effect. "No, I am the leader of this village, but I am not the ruler of this world" the man in white said, revealing his identity not much to the shock of everyone present. "Are you like that guy, Beerus!? Are you a god?" The leader said, backing up some more out of slight fear. This shocked them, but only for a bit before they thought about it. "I guess you could say that," Vegeta grinned out. "um, leader. These 4 want to ask you something about our abilities" The male creature says, falling to one knee when saying it. "Rise, Geld-you are my son. What did you do this time?" the leader asked, closing his eyes in exhaustion.
"I just Vlied with Em and Jon!" Geld said, turning his head away in shame. "YOU DID WHAT!?" The leader yelled through gritted teeth.
"The Lord forbade the act for a reason, and you three just disregarded that law like nothing! You're lucky I didn't execute you three for treason immediately!" The leader screamed, getting angrier with every minute.
"Father, don't! It was my fault! I roped them into it, even though they told me they didn't want to do it. I used my status to threaten them, and for that I'm sorry. If you're going to punish anyone, punish me!" Geld said, bowing to his father and sweating profusely.
