Chapter 17 the underground tunnel, Blake's haunting nightmares, Na'el's uncontrolled rage
In a city Jaune and his Group looks at the map that shows a path that leads to the Agnus kingdom which is in the form of tunnels that leads there.
Jaune: hmmm… it appears these paths leads to the kingdoms we'll need to be extremely careful while in there.
G6Red: there's a possibility that there's some solders in there along with some mercenaries too.
Jaune: so we're going to have to be extra careful from then on.
Joe: sir I have a question to ask what will we do once we arrive at Agnus kingdom? It's not like we can stop the corporations, let alone the kingdom It's self.
Jaune: your right. All we can do is help the civilians and gather information but once it's conquered we have no choice but too run away, taking as many people with us as well.
Joe: man nothing is easy is it…
Jaune: no it isn't sadly.
Then Sun walks in to talk with Jaune.
Sun: Jaune!
Jaune: I know what your about to say Sun, we haven't found any info on Blake yet, how are you sure she's on Aionios which you didn't explain how or why she's here.
Sun: isn't it obvious she came here to kill mercenaries.
Jaune: killing mercenaries? Sun what happened to Blake after the Coral war?
Sun: …after the Coral war, Blake had it hard as she was haunted by the death of her comrades and lover… she couldn't eat or sleep, she was slowly losing her mind and then gone crazy… she soon made the most dangerous decision… to kill every single mercenaries.
G6Red: what!?
Joe: she's going to kill every mercenary? That is crazy and stupid.
Jaune: …
Sun: I tried to tell her to give up this obsession but…
Jaune: she wasn't going to stop is she?
Sun: yeah…
Jaune: *sigh* it appears that nothing I said or anyone else didn't get through to her and now she's lashing out at others in order to ease her pain and escape from reality along with blaming those who are not responsible.
Sun: …
Jaune: we are going to have to be extra careful from now on and be on the lookout for her or any information on where she is.
Sun: …
(Scene change)
Shinck and his group is seen getting ready to head further into the tunnel as they do Shinck notice Na'el is on the simulator inside the A.C trying to learn how to pilot one and what he noticed is how skilled Na'el is, which is surprising because she never piloted an A.C before and this is her first time.
Shinck: Na'el… since when did you know how to pilot an A.C?
Na'el: I don't know… it just came to me naturally… perhaps I just have a talent for it.
Shinck: … Na'el you and your brother have fought on the battlefield before right?
Na'el: yes we have but we never piloted any of those machines not once… maybe someone from my family piloted one.
Shinck: someone from your family?
Na'el: just forget it lets just focus on heading to Agnus already.
Shinck: …
Then it was time to start the mission, Shinck boards his A.C and heads out into deeper parts of the tunnel.
(F-Zero GX – one ahead of the system)
Fatman: begin mission. Head deeper into the tunnel and find the path that leads to the Kingdom.
Church: be careful, there might be beasts in there.
Shinck: got it.
Soon the mission started, the Azure Zero went deeper into the tunnel in order to clear it out and find the path that leads to the Agnus kingdom, as the A.C goes through it encounter dangerous beasts within the tunnel he didn't have any problems taking them down as he heads deeper.
Shinck: things seems to be clear now.
Church: looks like it- wait hold on I'm detecting an A.C and it's coming at you fast!
Shinck: huh!?
Then the A.C that Church talked about lands right in front of Shinck as it points its weapon at him, the enemy is Blake whose the last member of Team RWBY.
Blake: another mercenary… I'll make sure I get rid of every last one of you!
Shinck: oh crap!
The two then started fighting against each other Blake fires many of her weapons at Shinck who avoided most of them, then he counter attack against her using the grenade launcher damaging her then using the pulse blade damaging her more.
Blake: you mercenaries… because of you, my life became nothing but pain and misery with so many people hating me…
Shinck: grrr…
Blake: all of them called me a traitor, a murderer and monster! You all took everything from me, everything!
The fight continues as Blake tries everything to kill Shinck however the fight was about to end as Shinck uses assault armor that knock Blake back as Shinck unloads his weapons on her as her A.C is taken down and no longer able to fight anymore.
(End of music)
Soon Fatman and the others arrive at the scene to see what has happened, Blake gets out of her own A.C with her weapon in hand as she rages at Shinck's A.C all of her attacks being completely useless until the rest got out of carrier watching the sad cat Faunise continues to attack the machine until she turned her attention to them as she rushed at them only for Na'el's fist to meet her face knocking her back.
Blake: it's your fault… it's all of you mercenaries fault…
Na'el: hmph, it's not like you huntsmen and huntresses are any bloody better.
Blake: … how would you know?
Na'el: oh I know, because I saw your world's history how you self-centered righteous bastards got a bunch of people killed… not giving a care what happened to them and don't get me started on the Faunise who left the planet!
Blake: you know nothing about us… or what we went through!
Na'el suddenly punch Blake in the face with her fist knocking her back, Na'el was now in full on rage and anger as she remembered all of the endless fighting and death including friends, loved ones including families, then Na'el started beating Blake up which surprised everyone as she was showing no mercy to the Faunise as she screams in pain Shinck soon exited out of his A.C to stop Na'el before she kills her.
Shinck: Na'el, that is enough!
Na'el: …
Fatman: he's right kid there's no point in killing her and letting your anger and past cloud your head.
Shinck: he's right Na'el, let's just go.
Na'el: grrr…
The group soon boards the carrier and picks up the A.C and heads further into the tunnel leaving behind a badly injured Blake whose laying completely on ground looking at the hole above her until se closed her eyes to rest, then hours later the Redguns soon entered the tunnel and finds her then everything fades to black.
