It's no secret that Tanjiro Kamado is a very calming person to be around his happy and gentle demeanor making it seem difficult to picture him mad and or severely angry enough to have someone back track faster than one can say Demon slayer, however as it turns out one such person or rather creature found out the hard way not to angry Tanjiro in such a manner for you see not only is Tanjiro a strong Demon Slayer he is also a OMEGA this makes his strength even more impressive as most omegas either don't like to fight or outright avoid fighting unless it is to protect their family and the closest children. The slayer corps are under the assumption that Tanjiro is a BETA given his willingness to fight and how fast he has risen from the lowest rank to current ranking in less than a year even though he has never confirmed or told the corps his second gender. However, since the upper moon fight at the Swordsmith village some has been making Tanjiro uneasy and twitchy after having his pre heat cycle start 3 months early on the return trip to home base.
The fight between Upper moon 4 and his split personalities have really taken its toll on all involved for the trip back to the butterfly manor and the Ubuyashki mansion had not only was Tanjiro and Nezuko in the cart laying down but also Muichirou, Mitsuri and Genya as it turns out the effects of the fights have had some annoying consequences for all involved, the main one being poor Muichirou was now undergoing the uncomfortable process of having his body start to show his secondary gender the poor boy was a whimpering mess curled up on Mitsuri's lap shaking gently every now and then a whimper or whine would sound from his lips the kakushi and local doctors in the village saying that the poison from upper moon 5 had kick started the process in a very aggressive way so much so that depending on how he presented would more likely force a heat or rut upon the young mist hashira, the side effect on Genya were not so obvious but you could see the young alpha had agitation and overwhelming fatigue from the battle and eating the flesh of an upper moon was written on his face and in his body language in the form of fighting drowsiness, Mitsuri seemed to be the more or less unaffected but that could be due to being slightly older then the group she would be twitching every so much when Muichirou would let out a whimper Tanjiro wouldn't be surprised if she was an OMEGA given just how nurturing and mothering she was been with the youngest member in the unusual circumstance.
Tanjiro on the other hand was not only in pain from the broken foot and bruised legs and emotionally drained from the horrifying decision to save the smiths and let his little sister burn in the sunlight but also had to try and fight his bodies pre heat cycle that was forced due to the stressful circumstances Tanjiro had yet to inform the corps of his secondary gender and while male OMEGA'S are not rare by any means with the corps the type of OMEGA Tanjiro was not as common as it turns out Tanjiro was one of those that suppressants did not work on he had found out in the worst way back on Mount Sagiri when he was training when not only did he present as an omega but when his heat started Urokodaki had to lock the poor boy somewhere safe when 7 alpha's intruded on the mountain they called home when he realized the suppressants didn't work when his second heat rolled around two months before final selection. Tanjiro was to meet with the master and the hashira before his heat cycle was to begin in 3 months however now it would be force into the open and result in a possible fight over him with any and all ALPHAS in scenting distance.
A wave of heat flashes through Tanjiro causing him to let out a small but pitched keening whine resulting I three heads snapping in his direction "Tanjiro are you ok" Genya's voice calls out and he shifts closer to him "yes Genya I am fine just *keening whimper* having my um cycle start I think" Tanjiro says catching the scent of a worried ALPHA causing him to shift away from his new friend trying to put distance between them. "Shinazugawa stop" Mitsuri's voice sounds in warning causing Genya to stop and look at her "Tanjiro you're an OMEGA aren't you?" she asks looking calm but panicked all at once "yes I was to inform Master within the next 3 months when the newest final selection candidates attending where decided" Tanjiro replied looking down at the white bedding on the cart floor "Tan…jiro*whimper* why did you wait…so long to inform the mast…..er?" Muichirou's asked being interrupted by a whimper and trying to swallow down a few midsentence "well um you see….I was to have a meeting the as that was when all of the Pillars where going to be likely to be nearby and I …um….I'm ah not able to use suppressants and my trainer Urokodaki had to hide me away when 7 ALPHA'S intruded on mount Sagiri where I was training for final selection twice since Giyuu sent me and Nezuko to him." the Hashira looked horrified and Muichirou looked nervous "you mean none of them work your scent is that strong" Genya chokes out shifting to the farthest corner he can to give Tanjiro space drawing a low hurt whimper from Tanjiro at the movement on instinct causing the young alpha to let a growl out in return. "Sorry Genya. But yes it is Urokodaki was going to see if maybe the Master had a place for me to hide away or stay that would affect the ALPHAS within the area" a wave of drowsiness hits Tanjiro and his body goes limp causing his head to gently hit the floor "Damn it" he says fighting his eyelids from falling shut however the rocking of the cart is making it harder to not shut his eyes for sleep "Tanjiro…sleep you…..need to keep your strength*whimper* it…..really….hurts" Muichirou's voice rings out as Tanjiro reluctantly gives in to sleep.
Tanjiro's P.O.V
As the cloudiness of sleep lifts from my head I can sense I am not in the cart with everyone, but I can still smell Tokitou and Kanroji near by their scents almost like they are laying right next to me "Tokitou, Miss Kanroji…where are we" I ask trying to open my eyes but it's difficult to do so "TANJIRO! Oh, my goodness your awake, how do you feel?" Kanroji's voice sounds like its next to me soon I feel a hand on my forehead "tired m eyes aren't letting me open them is something on them….*whimper*" I say 'OH NO….no…no…no…no to early, don't want a mate not yet' as I start to shake and force my way into sitting up "TANJIRO STOP YOUR SAFE, I PROMISE PLEASE STOP!" Kanroji says placing her hands on my torso pushing me down however that makes e panic more the need to run and escape to a safe place is now over whelming "Tanjiro calm down it's ok." a quite male voice rings out "Tomioka!, thank goodness he is panicking and isn't in any shape to move" Kanroji says holding me the scent of salt water, waterlily and safety floods my nose 'Giyuu…Safe I'm safe' need mate 'no' need mate, must have mate "where am I…need to hide away…*whine* heats coming to early" I say sinking into the bed. The sound of light steady footsteps sound before they stop next to my right side and the bed shifts and a weight is near me followed by a cool hand on my cheek and the salt water and waterlily scent is stronger "hush you are at the OMEGA safehouse your safe here Tanjiro you can relax, no Alphas are allowed here unless they have a mate and so far none of the Active Alpha members do you are safe here." Giyuu's voice rings out 'Safehouse?'.
WHIMPER, WHINE* a high pitched voice sounds to the far left of me like they are in pain and the sweet flowery scent of a new omega surges through my senses "Tokitou, is he here too…is he alright" I ask worried "he is fine Tanjiro, he is just starting his forced heat due to the battle with upper moon 5 activating the presenting process a bit before he was due to have it happen he will be fine." Giyuu says patting my forehead one again a flash of warmth flood my system "Mmmhm, so warm" I whimper out as I feel slickness by my inner thigh and the need to shift my hips to get comfortable, NEST MUST NEST NEED NEST 'IT'S STARTED' the heat from my blood finally starts to take over, my eyes finally open up and I can see Giyuu sitting by my right arm and Kanroji rocking by the bed on my left holding her hands in front of her lips looking unsure "sorry mmmhm for not listening earlier Miss Kanroji" I say trying to put her at ease she shakes her head "no I should have realized what was going on Tanjiro based on what you told us on the way back from the smith village….how are you feeling though do you need anything?" she says looking a bit more relaxed "where's my sister?" I ask looking for the box I always carry a sense of fear rising "easy Tanjiro your sister is with the master and Urokodaki, she will be safe" Giyuu says helping me into a sitting position 'Giyuu is an omega how did I miss that in his scent' "thank goodness…..ahhhh" I can feel more slickness coming out of my body and the heat in my stomach starts to feel like a small fire with a pulse within me that's uncomfortable enough to disrupt everything I was doing, so far this is consistent with the last heat.
A knock at the is met with a low growl from both older hashira and a high pitched whine form Tokitou I guess with the growls from both Giyuu and Kanroji my inner omega didn't need to reply "yes" I call out the door opens resulting in a pair of hissing hashira standing between both the door and Tokitou and myself a young girl slides four trays in through the door that is barely wide enough for the trays "I'm sorry lord Tomioka and Lady Kanroji but food is ready…..ah SORRY!" she then shuts the door and I can hear her running down the hallway. "Ummm…Giyuu? Miss Kanroji? Are you ok?" I ask feeling my eyes blinking and shifting between the older male and female at the same time I notice their noses twitch like the open door had refreshed the room with something, 'oh!' I stand and stat to move toward the trays when I feel hands grip and pull me back into a chest salt water fills my nose "Giyuu….what" he growls lightly moving us backward until we are near Tokitou's bed "Sorry Tanjiro but you can't go near the door or windows…your to stay either in your bed or nest for today, do you understand little one Muichirou this goes for you as well" Giyuu's voice has a underlining tone that I find hard not to listen to it must be the maternal tone all Omegas have it reminds me of my mother. Tears start to well in my eyes and my throat starts to constrict and I start to shake fighting of my grief from 2 years ago 'no come on your passed tis my grief so why am I….Mother, Takeo, Hanako, Shigeru, Rokuta…my pack…my family I miss them' I give into my grief and let out a long low whine feeling my body go completely limp in Giyuu's arms.
Giyuu's P.O.V
After backing up to Muichirou's bed with Tanjiro and giving the recommended order from the master if the young ones tried to go near the exit's the scent of sadness and salt mixes with the air and Tanjiro tenses up only to have his body go limp and a grief filled heartbroken whine echoed within the room "Tanjiro…what" came Mitsuri's voice as she slowly shifts toward me while I sink to the floor with Tanjiro "his grief…Tomioka what…why would he…is he ok he's not hurt and Nezuko she ok so why if he so grief stricken" she voices out as she gets near 'why…what happened…all that happened was I gave a command…THE COMMAND HIS FAMILY…DAMN IT' I can feel my eyes widening and my features changing in a rare moment of expression "his pack I think the command I used set it off Kanroji…we need to calm him down if we can before the other start to show up, Muichirou if we made a nest would you like to lay in it with us" I say rocking Tanjiro slightly while rubbing my cheek on his hair trying to soothe the poor young omega "please…I…*whine*would" Muichirou whimpers out my eyes catch Kanroji's and she starts to shift the six beds together even the one with the youngest member on it "do you think you can move or is it too much Muichirou right now" she asks not touching the young one "I can move enough now…Tanjiro is he ok Tomioka" he says shifting to the floor to gently padding his way over actually behaving like the 14 year old he is.
'Tokitou almost seems childlike right now' I think shifting so he can see Tanjiro, the whines that were coming from Tanjiro have lessened but every now and then a sharp keen slips from his throat. "Honestly Tokitou Kanroji I don't know I think the suggestion is what caused it and possibly made him think of his lost family from 2 years ago when I first met him and his sister…" I explain briefly my train of thought before stopping before I talk to much 'damn it…has he not truly grieved for them…I guess not…oh Tanjiro little brother my omega instincts are starting to show with these 2 it would seem but why' I shake my head as I clear my thoughts a raise my hand toward the new omega Muichirou seems unsure if he wants to give into his omega behaviour or not raising and lowering his arm in his indecisive moment after the 5th raise of is arm he shifted forward and looked as if he collapsed next to Tanjiro resting is head on his shoulder. 'just how young is Muichirou acting when he listens to his inner omega' I wonder "Tomioka its ready" Mitsuri calls gently I shift my head and i see all 6 beds pushed in a large square or rather as close to one as it can get and a mixture of comforters sheets clothes rugs and pillows atop the square all that is left to do is place the young ones in the center and lay down for the night "Muichirou Tanjiro we must get into the next come on" I say nudging Muichirou of Tanjiro and pulling Tanjiro onto his feet and move them toward the large nest as all 4 of us climb in and get settled I hear 2 voices quietly sound off "night brother sister" from both young ones as they finally seem to be calm enough for the night and sleepy enough for their bodies to rest "Brother Sister…Tomioka did they just claim us as Family?" Mitsuri says head tilted slightly "Yes I believe they did claim us, however I guess I also must have done something similar with Tanjiro because my inner omega calls him little brother?"
