AUTHOR'S NOTES

When I first joined in 2020, I planned out a crossover known as The Fight for Narnia (Fire Emblem Three Houses + Chronicles of Narnia crossover story). The story, which was uploaded on October 11, 2021, was my first Narnia story but not my first crossover in general.

I decided to relive those old memories by doing another Chronicles of Narnia crossover but with Wings of Fire. I've crossed these two fandoms over before, most famously in Behind the Lockers and a few selected poetry works, but I've decided to do a full fledged story. Using the oppertunity, I've decided to come up with this fantasy adventure story.

Honestly, seeing elements of fire and ice clash would be amazing. And Queen Scarlet and Jadis the White Witch are both iconic literature villains.

Like my other crossover stories with this format, some things may be related to the canon source materials while others could be off a bit. I apologize for things that are false.

I hope you enjoy this crossover story!

CHAPTER 1

The Land of Narnia.

Aslan, the great lion, had his subordinates and his loyal subjects–a bunch of centaurs and loyal humans–write out a bunch of notes and letters. The notes contained every fact about Narnia that one would be able to study. As an estimated number of a hundred notes were written out by Aslan's loyal subjects, they were sent to Cair Paravel, Narnia's national capital. However, something went horribly wrong.

Dragons from another nation–Pyrrhia–snuck into Cair Paravel, and found the notes. The Pyrrhian dragons took every single note written for Aslan and took them away to Pyrrhia. The next morning after the notes were stolen, Aslan was notified by his loyal subjects that the notes were gone. But the subjects didn't know at the time who stole them.

"What?" asked Aslan.

"Unfortunately, this is the case, Aslan." said one Narnian human.

"And no one was in the room where the notes were." said Aslan.

"Great Lion Aslan, all the guards to the notes were found dead." said a Centaur soldier. "Not to mention this note was left in the room."

Aslan read the note.

Should you appear before Pyrrhian spire,

You'll see the power of Wings of Fire.

Aslan then looked at the Centaur and the human soldier.

"There is no signature…is there?" asked the Centaur.

"...No." said Aslan. "At least I don't think."

Aslan then dusted off where a signature would usually be written. All that said was "Morrowseer".

"Morrowseer….?" asked one human soldier.

"Morrowseer?" asked the Centaur.

Everyone was confused. No one knew who Morrowseer was, but they suspected he was from an outer kingdom.

Morrowseer–a NightWing–was the one who was ordered by NightWing Queen Battlewinner to steal Narnia's notes written to Aslan. As Morrowseer held on to Aslan's gifted documents, Battlewinner prompted him to write claims about Narnia that were the exact opposite of the true things the documents stated. Morrowseer began to work.

One claim Morrowseer wrote about Narnia was that Narnia was a cold, harsh land that should be ruled by the NightWings themselves, as he claimed that NightWings were natural leaders. Another claim he wrote was that the NightWings would be able to read the minds of the Narnians and even tell their future. Another claim was the cruelest of them all: Narnia would belong to the NightWing tribe. Battlewinner, having read all of Morrowseer's claims, told him to write a whole "prophecy" about what he had just written.

Morrowseer came up with a "prophecy" for ruling over Narnia.

NightWings ruling Narnian binds,

Would read the future and their minds.

Ruled by the NightWings,

Power of the rings,

Falsen things,

One would find.

Battlewinner read over the prophecy Morrowseer wrote, which was actually a clogyrnach. However, she was confused about the other three lines. The fourth line said something about a bunch of rings. Morrowseer showed the queen the rings that he referenced.

"What are those rings?" asked Queen Battlewinner.

"Animus enchanted rings." said Morrowseer. "These rings are going to be given to the dragons who will bow down before the NightWings of Narnia." he answered.

"And what about falsen things?" asked Battlewinner.

"That's another thing." said Morrowseer. "The rings are also enchanted to have the wearer know the facts we wrote and not the original writer."

"So they will believe us, not them?" asked Queen Battlewinner.

"Yes." said Morrowseer.

"And what about this 'one would find'?" asked Queen Battlewinner.

"One would find many secrets we have." said Morrowseer. "But it's impossible. NightWings can read minds and tell the future. No one will ever figure out our secrets." said Morrowseer.

"Very well." said Battlewinner. "I will remain here in my lava cauldron. If I get out, the ice will take over my body."

"Ha ha." said Morrowseer. "I will gather up my army of NightWings."

Morrowseer began to prepare for the travel to Narnia to take over the nation. However, he took Aslan's scrolls with him. Little did he know he would end up dropping them in the mountains on the way to Narnia.
