Chapter 0 Prologue: The summoning of the Nameless Auburn Hero
*One simple day, Ritsuka Fujimaru was humming calmly through the halls of the Chaldea until he reached the Summoning Room.*
Ristuka: "Alright, I wonder what I will get today! I got a lot of Saint Quartz thanks to the last events and my constant saving and my…" Just then, Ritsuka shivered from remembering all the constant grinding he did "Constant grinding… Haha…"
?: Senpai?
Ristuka: "Hm?" When Ritsuka turned, he saw his Kouhai at the entrance door of the Summoning Room "Oh, hey Mashu! I'm just doing my daily summons today. I've saved up a lot thanks to everyone's hard work."
Mashu: "Oh, I see Senpai. But, are you sure you're okay with this…?"
Ristuka: "What do mean by that, Mashu…?"
Mashu: "Well…"
A few months before… June 23
Ritsuka: "GODDAMMIT! WHY?! WHY IS IT ALWAYS BLACK KEYS AND MAPO TOFU?! ALONG WITH THESE USELESS CRAFT ESSENCE AND NOT EVEN A SINGLE SERVANT?!" Ristuka then slammed his fists on the Summoning Room floor extremely hard "WHY?!"
Back to the present
Mashu: "That…"
Ritsuka turned back to the Summoning Altar, feeling a bit of guilt forming inside him "Right… Haha…" He then thrusted his hands forward with fire burning in his eyes "Don't worry Mashu! Today is going to be different, I just know it! Believe in your Senpai!"
Mashu: "If you say so, Senpai…"
A few minutes last…
Ritsuka slammed his fists on the Summoning Room floor in despair "Why…?" He felt depair.
Mashu just sighed and then took something out of her pocket and gave it to Ritsuka "Here you go, Senpai. It's just one, but I hope you get something with it." She let out a soft smile at him.
Ritsuka then felt as if hope was on his side and hugged Mashu "Thank you, Mashu!" He let go of the hug and gave her an encouraging smile "I promise, I won't disappoint this time!"
Mashu blushed a bit and nodded to him "O-Of course, Senpai. I know you won't"
Rituska then placed the summoning ticket on the Summoning Altar and got a little nervous as a blue ring spun around "Please… Please…" The blue ring then turned three "Yes!" and a flashing light covered the whole entire room"
A stomp of a foot was then heard from the Summoning Altar and both Mashu and Ritsuka heard a voice.
A man with Auburn hair with Amber eyes and a muscular body, but not too muscular to the point of a body builder's. He didn't wore a shirt, but a red shroud with black markings on it on the left side of his arm and a red cloth band on his right wrist. Black pants that seemed like it would be worn by a warrior in the old Japanese empire with a white belt made from cloth tied like a ribbon along with what looks like are combat shoes on his feet. He has a white kimono over his shoulder that's blue on the inside with patterns inside, while a katana was strapped on the side of his left hip.
He then looked towards Ritsuka and Mashu and spoke. "Saber, Shirou Emiya, the pseudo-servant vessel to Sengo Muramasa, the demonic blacksmith. I have answered your summons. I ask of you, are you my master?"
Ritsuka and Mashu looked stunned by how he looked, but Ritsuka finally spoke after a moment of silence. "Y-Yes!"
"Oya? What's going on here?" A distant voice from the entrance of the Summoning Room was heard and the three looked at the person.
Mashu: "Oh, Da Vinci-san! Thanks for coming. Can you please look into Shirou-san's stats for us?" Mashu asked Da Vinci.
Da Vinci: "Shirou, is that the new servant over there?" She pointed at Shirou at the top of the Summoning Altar.
Ritsuka exclaimed "Yes!" Before calming down his tone "He's the new servant. He said he's a Saber Class Servant, can you check his stats, Da Vinci?" Ritsuka asked Da Vinci as he walked over to her side.
Da Vinci nodded "Just leave it to me!" She then opened the Servant Stat Board and what she saw left her at a stunning shock "O-oh my…" She muttered quietly.
Servant: Shirou Emiya (Saber)
Strength: EX
Endurance: EX
Agility: A+
Mana: EX
Luck: E
Noble Phantasm: ?
"My, my, this is probably the strongest servant we've ever had in a long time. Almost everything is ranked EX, but what's with that luck?" Da Vinci thought to herself before Mashu spoke.
Mashu: Um… Da Vinci-san…?
Da Vinci escaped her thoughts and looked at Ritsuka and Mashu "O-Oh! Sorry. Mashu, Ritsuka, you might want to see this." Both Mashu and Ritsuka came close to her and gasped shocked at what they say.
Ritsuka and Mashu: "HOLY MOLY! THAT'S HOW STRONG SHIROU/SHIROU-SAN IS?!"
Shirou: "Hm? Is something wrong, Master?"
Ritsuka: "N-Nothing! We were just surprised. We didn't know that you were this strong, Shirou."
Da Vinci then stepped into the conversation "But why is it that we can't see your Noble Phantasm, Shirou?"
Shirou was then thinking, lost in his thoughts before finally speaking "Maybe there was something wrong during the summoning? I don't feel anything different at all though."
Da Vinci: "But you can still use them, right" She asked to Shirou and he nodded his head.
Shirou: "Like I said, I don't feel anything different. My memories are intact and I can still use them if I wanted to."
Da Vinci then asked. "Well, if you're this powerful. What are your skills, Shirou?"
Shirou then placed his hand on his chin and counted his skills. "Well, I have Eye of the Mind at rank A-, Magic Resistance and Riding at A, my Mana burst is ranked A, to which it boosts my parameters to what a master can muster with their own. I also have Clairvoyance at B-, it isn't like Merlin's or Solomon's though, it can only let me track fast moving objects from long distances away and only a slight future sight. I also have Mystic Eyes and my Independent Action is ranked at B+, which I consider fair considering some of my actions in the past."
Ritsuka had his mouth open in shock and amazement. "Wow… That's a lot" Mashu and Da Vinci then nodded with him.
Da Vinci then asked to Shirou again. "You sure you don't feel anything different, Shirou?" She asked in a concerned tone.
Shirou just shook his head in denial. "Nope, nothing wrong here Da Vinci."
Ritsuka let out a breath he didn't know he was holding and sighed "Phew, almost thought I did something wrong there." Then he stomach grumbled and he blushed slightly.
Shirou gently laughed at that and asked. "Are you hungry, Master? Seems like your stomach could use something to eat with the way that sounded." He gave them a warm smile.
Ritsuka nodded his head. "Y-Yeah. That was embarrassing. Let's head to the cafeteria." As they walked out of the summoning room, he asked Shirou "You can cook, Shirou?"
Shirou nodded his head in acknowledgement. "Mhm. It's more a hobby of mine other than creating sword."
Mashu asked. "You create sword, Shirou-san?" To which, he nodded.
Shirou: "Yup. But I don't do it too much, I mostly focus on my magic. Especially since I was a magi back when I was alive."
Da Vinci then asked. "Were you a Magus back then, Shirou?" To which, he nodded again. Then she asked again. "Then what Magic do you know?"
Shirou smirked and raised his hand and said his aria. "Trace, On." Then a pair of Chinese nun chucks appeared in front of him, leaving all three of them shocked and Da Vinci having her question answered.
Ristuka: "S-Shirou, is that a-"
Shirou: "Yes, master I just traced a Noble Phantasm."
Mashu: "Traced…?" Asked, confused.
Shirou turned to Mashu and said, "It's my own type of Projection or Gradation Air in Magi terms."
Da Vinci: "So then, you can create Noble Phantasms? If so, then are you somehow related to the Red Archer we have here as well?" She asked, leaving Shirou in thought before nodding.
Shirou: "I guess you could say that." As they were walking, Shirou asked. "Hey, by the way, Master, where are we? I didn't asked earlier because I thought it might've been rude, but now I can feel lots of servants on where we're heading."
Ritsuka face-palmed his hand. "Of course, why did I forget? You're in Chaldea, Shirou. Chaldea is an organization that battles for and protects humanity through jumping through different singularities with the help of servant. That's why you're feeling lots of servant presences nearby."
"And I assume you get these servants from the Throne of Heroes, yes?" Shirou asked to them.
Ritsuka nodded. "That's correct, Shirou. You were in a grail war before, Shirou?" He asked
To which, Shirou nodded. "Mhm. I was the master of Saber in my holy grail war back then when I was alive."
Mashu: "That's amazing, Shirou-san!"
After a few moments of walking, they soon arrived at the cafeteria. There they saw Arturia along with her counterparts eating their food like the hungry lions they are, Ishtar and her rider self, fighting Astraea while Ereshkigal just sighed, Parvati and her look-alikes having a calming chat, Illya, Miyu, Kuro, and Sitonai, eating cake while sitting together with Irisviel and Kiritsugu.
Once, Shirou, Ritsuka, Mashu, and Da Vinci entered the cafeteria, everyone felt a presence, Shirou's presence and turned to them. Especially the girls, they were staring at his abs, oh those strong and muscular abs of his made them drool. Silence was in the room and as Ritsuka was just about to speak-.
"SHIROU!" Saber and her counterparts exclaimed, happy that their scabbard is back.
"E-EMIYA-KUN?!" Ishtar, her rider self, and Ereshkigal shouted as their feelings fluster.
"S-SENPAI?!" Parvati and her look a likes said in shock to see Shirou here.
"SHEROU?!" Astraea shouted, finally seeing her crush after so long.
"ONII-CHAN!" Illya, Miyu, Kuro, and Sitonai said happy to see their big brother again.
"Shirou…" Kiritsugu said quietly, not knowing what came before him.
"Shirou? Oh my, is this the Shirou the Illya, Kuro, Miyu, and Sitonai has been talking to me all about?" Irisviel said while finally taking a good look at her adopted son.
"…" EMIYA Archer just stayed silent.
"Arturia…! Why is she-? Wait, no. This isn't the Arturia you knew back then when you were still alive, Shirou. This is Saber. THE Saber, the one you knew back at the Fifth Fuyuki Holy Grail War." Shirou thought to himself as he looked around the cafeteria. "Wow, is it just me or am I seeing tons of different versions of Arturia, Sakura, Rin, Illya here? A version of Luvia is here too, along with a version of my old man, and… a lady who looks like an older version of Illya…?" Shirou thought to himself again before speaking. "I-I'm back."
Just then, every version of Arturia, Sakura, Rin, and Illya along with Miyu and Kuro, jumped in front of him, giving him an explosion amount of a huge hug from them. "WELCOME BACK SHIROU/EMIYA-KUN/SENPAI/SHEROU/ONII-CHAN!" They all exclaimed happily with voices filled with excitement, love, and care.
Just admist the chaos that is known as hugging, Shirou found himself staring at Irisviel as she approached him. "So you're Shirou?" She asked.
"Y-Yeah. I'm sorry, but do I know you? You look at lot like Illya though." Shirou said
Irisviel just smiled wide and hugged her son for the first time. "My name is Irisviel Von Einzbern, Illya's mother, and Kiritsugu's wife! Which makes you my son! You can call me your mom!"
Kiritsugu just sighed at her wife's actions. "Iri…" While Shirou just let out a small laugh…
Then, Ritsuka's stomach grumbled again, alarming everyone near. Then Shirou chuckled softly. "I'm sorry to ask this Master, but are you still hungry?"
"Y-Yeah…" Ritsuka said with a slight blush. As Shirou walked to the kitchen.
"MAKE SOME FOR US TOO!" Arturia and her counterparts, Ishtar and her counterparts, Parvati and her look-alikes, Atraea, Miyu, Illya, Kuro, and Sitonai said to Shirou.
"Of course." Shirou said with a light chuckle as he entered the kitchen, once he did, Archer Emiya spoke.
"So you're summoned here too, huh?" Archer asked.
"Yeah. But we can talk later, right now let's focus on feeding everyone. There's a bunch we have to feed." Shirou said as he grabbed a wooden spoon.
After a few minutes, the food came out and everyone was given including Da Vinci, Mashu, Irisviel, and Kiritsugu in order to not let them out. Once the girls took a bite of Shirou's food, every single one of them felt gentle pleasure and happiness they didn't know was possible when eating such divine food. The cafeteria was filled with a pink and yellow aura with flowers hanging in the air, filled with peace and happiness.
Once everyone finished eating the food, they all let out a sigh of satisfaction. Then Illya asked something that she shouldn't have asked.
"Hey Onii-chan, has the Chaldea staff given you a room yet" She asked.
"No, they haven't given me a room yet, why do you ask?" Shirou questioned her little sister.
"Then where will you sleep?" She asked. Before Shirou could speak, Arturia got to him first.
"Of course he'll be staying in my room." Arturia Saber said.
The whole cafeteria then engulfed in chaos at that single comment of Arturia.
"Now hold on, you can't do that! You can't say he'll sleep with you and let everyone accept it!" Ishtar, her rider self, and Ereshkigal said.
"And what makes you think you're any better, Miss Gorilla? Shouldn't he sleep in my room instead?" Luvia questioned as Ishtar shot a gem at her, making the both of them fight.
"No, that's not allowed either! Senpai is mine!" Parvati, BB, Passionlip, Meltlilith countered.
"Stay away from Onii-chan!" Illya, Kuro, Miyu, Sitonai shouted.
The whole cafeteria was in complete chaos, all just to fight for who gets Shirou in bed.
Shirou soon had enough and walked towards them. But before he got close, Archer said, "That's hell you're walking into."
"I know, Archer, I know." Shirou said before tapping the katana on his hip on the ground, gathering everyone's attention. "Now that I have everyone's attention, can we please stop fighting? I'll ask the Chaldea staff to give me a room of mine later. So can we all stop fighting amongst ourselves? I don't want everyone here to hurt each other. Please?" Shirou asked with his same warm smile as the girls blushed hard and stopped fighting.
Ritsuka: "Wow, did Shirou just…"
Mashu: "Yes, Senpai. I think Shirou-san just stopped them."
Da Vinci: "My, my, is this some sort of skill of his?"
Ritsuka: "Who knows?" He asked while letting out a small chuckle.
"So this is my life at Chaldea now, huh? At least it couldn't get any crazier than this." Shirou thought to himself, but as he did, his E-rank luck kicked in to curse him as new servants came into the cafeteria.
"Shirou, food!" Jaguar-man or Taiga, called to him
"Yo, kid! You're a heroic spirit now, eh? Nice!" Cu exclaimed while grinning.
"Shirou…" Rider Medusa said, completely at a loss for words.
"Oh? So the boy made it too?" Medea Caster asked
"He's summoned here too now, eh?" Sasaki asked
"ROOOOAAAARRGGGHHHH!" Heracles screamed
"FAKER!" Gilgamesh shouted, completely displeased to see Shirou.
"Dammit…" Shirou mentally cursed inside his head.
