The Thing 1982 Part 5
Paranoid Peter and Neptune Victim Thing.

After the expedition at the crash site of the UFO, well everyone is catching break right now, well Ren is too busy talking this Alien Thing that he is disbelieving despite the fact that he was there when the Alien Thing attack the dogs.
"Look Ren I'm guessing, so it crashes and this Alien Thing gets thrown out or walks out and ends up freezing simple as that", Jaune tries to get Ren straight up.
"I just can't believe this voodoo stuff, you believe this voodoo stuff Peter?" Ren said but Peter is a bit lost in thought at the moment and then Mercury joins in after.
"It happens all the time Ren, They're falling out of the skies like flies, Governments knows all about it. Chariots of the Brothers, man, they practically own Mistral. I mean they taught the people everything they knew", Mercury even tries to convince Ren about the Alien.
"Cool it Mercury!" Ren still wants to dismiss the Alien Thing which causes Mercury to shake a magazine at him adamantly.
"Go read Von Daniken! Have you read Von Daniken? Get your facts straight!" Mercury said to Ren.
"Monty, why would those guys ever want to leave their home anyway?" Cardin ask some question which everyone finds oblivious.
"Come on Ren, you were there when the Alien Thing attack the dogs", Nora said.
"And yet I still want to dismiss it", Ren said to her.
"But you know the Alien Thing is real when you saw it", Jaune said to him.
"Some people just want to deny what they've already seen with their own 2 eyes", Blake said how people are when they want to deny it after seeing something with their own 2 eyes.
Taiyang arrives in his skates into the room, "which one of you muthers been tossing his dirty underwear in the kitchen trash?" Tai ask much to everyone who wants to snicker at this while others put their hands on their mouth. Tai then flings that underwear across the room and it lands on Jaune.
"I want my kitchen clean and I mean germ free!" Tai then skates off and Jaune looks strangely at the shredded underwear before he rolls it up while paces.
"So Jaune, come on now, these Menagerie dudes come by and find the Alien Thing and digs it up." Ren said as Jaune tosses the ball of cloth across the room into the trash bin.
"Yeah Ren, they dig the Alien Thing up and cart it back, it gets thawed out, wakes up and scares them, and they get into one hell of a brawl", Jaune says what the Menageries did through a guess.
"Now how's this motherf#cker wake up after thousands of years in the ice huh?" Ren ask although some in the audiences don't like that Ren is being foul mounted.
"Goodness Ren", Ren's mom An-Ren scolds him for being foul mounted.
"That's my character mom", Ren said to her.
"I don't know how Ren, because the Alien Thing is different than we are, because it's being from space. What do you want from anyway Ren, go ask Peter", Jaune said in annoyance.
"You buy any of this Peter?" Ren ask Peter who stares straight ahead at him and the screens fade black.
"Okay the next scene is Peter Port will become completely paranoid after he analyzes the cell of the Alien Thing and what would happen if gets to any cities all across Remnant", Hakaze told them about the coming scene.
The next scene, Peter is looking at his computer watching the red cell which is the Alien Thing and the blue cell which is the dog. He watches as the Red Cell attack the blue cell and copies it perfectly and then goes for the other blue cells. After the computer warns Peter about the intruder cell which is the Alien Thing's cell could have infected anyone in the outpost.
Next Peter type out another question about the Alien Thing's cell, if the Alien Thing's cell reaches any civilization areas which are cities, then whole population are infected upon first contact. Peter shook his head after seeing this and then opens his drawer and pulls out EC-17 Hold-Out Blaster Pistol.
"Oh no that can't be good", Ruby said feeling terrified about what happens if the Alien Thing gets to any cities around Remnant
"Or worse Ruby, everyone will get infected upon first contact if the Alien Things gets to any cities on Remnant", Yang said.
"Looks like Peter is about to go paranoid after seeing that", Ozpin said on what Peter is thinking now.
"That's because after seeing that anyone could be infected by Alien Thing, I don't know who to trust", Peter explain why his counterpart is going paranoid now.
"Oh and the Blaster Pistol that Peter using is a EC-17 Hold-Out Blaster Pistol, commonly used by Clone Scout Troopers", Hakaze explain what kind of Gun is that.
Later that night Jaune is just finishing up and ready to call a night until Oscar approaches him, "Jaune I need to talk to you", Oscar said, "Oscar, I'm just gonna call a night and get drunk", Jaune just want to call a night.
"Jaune please, it's important", well that gave Jaune enough convince to listen to what Oscar needs to say.
"Whatever I need to say to Jaune, it must be really important and urgent", Oscar said.
"Well I need to hear it", Jaune said to him.
Meanwhile, both Neptune and Sun takes the burned remains of the Dog-Thing and the Menagerie Remains in storage room. "That did it, still why can't we just burn all of this anyway", some in the audiences agree with Sun that they should destroy what remains of the Alien Thing they have.
"Why just destroy the find of the year?" Neptune questions the idea of destroying it.
Sun leaves the storage room and Neptune continues what he's doing on the shelves, unknown to Neptune, one of the burned remains is leaking blood and tentacle coming out.
"AH OH!" Sun shouted.
"Oh no Neptune", Weiss wrapped her arms around him.
"This is going to be more horrifying", Neptune committed for his coming fate.
"Maybe you should have listen to what Sun was saying", Blake said to him.
Jaune and Oscar are inside the snowcat talking about Oscar's concern. "Listen Jaune, Peter has locked himself inside his room after we talked about the Alien Thing", Oscar warns Jaune about Peter being unstable and paranoid ever since he found out about what will happen in the Alien Thing enters any cities in Remnant.
"So Peter has lost it?" Jaune comments like he is shrugging off what Oscar saying.
"Hey listen, that Alien Thing may have imitated other life forms from other planets, it's like a chameleon striking at it's prey from a distances while camouflaged, there not dead yet", Oscar warned made Jaune paused and now he believes what Oscar is saying.
"Not dead?" Willow ask what's that supposed to mean.
"The only way that these Alien Things stay dead is, if it's nothing but ashes, leaving a body behind will only make it come back", Hakaze explains how can the Alien Thing can survive and how it can dead permanently.
"So burn it until it's nothing but ashes", Winter said and Hakaze nods as a yes.
"Neptune, come on I need to get some", Sun returns and stops, then takes off his sunglasses only to find Neptune wrapped in blood with the tentacles of the Alien Thing much to the horror of the audiences, Sun then drops whatever he was holding and runs to find Jaune.
"Oh dear", Ozpin said after they all saw what happened to Neptune.
"Oh Neptune", Weiss said after seeing what happened to him.
"I'm still hear Weiss", Neptune said throwing his arm around her.
"Don't even think about it Jacque and that includes you as well Whitley", Hakaze said knowing what they are thinking.
"Go get the Doc, will meet at Peter's room", Jaune said, then he and Oscar step out of Snowcat until they meet up with Sun who ran up to them with his winter coat.
"It's Neptune!" Sun warned and they all head for the storage room only to find Neptune and the Alien Thing gone, except for blood and Neptune sleeveless coat.
"He was right here, I swear, I saw it got the hold of him", Sun said as Jaune looks outside a broken window.
Next was the Neptune Thing running outside but collapse on it's knees as Jaune rings the alarm. Everyone all except for Peter surround Neptune Thing while Sun tells everyone not to touch him. Jaune opens a flare and the Neptune Thing looks at him showing his husk hands and makes a strange howling sound before Jaune spills gasoline on him and use the flare to burn Neptune Thing.
"Why does Neptune Thing have husk hands instead or normal looking Human hands?" Salem ask Hakaze.
"That's because the imitation of Neptune was mid-assimilation and it never finished yet."
"So just ran off without finishing, it probably knew Jaune, Sun and Oscar was coming", Qrow said while drinking from his flask.
Next scene Jaune and Clover are gathering BT X-42 Flamethrowers to burn the rest of Neptune, "do you know what it's been doing to him?" Clover asked, "in time it would have looked and sound like Neptune", Jaune answered him.
"I don't understand."
"It's those Alien Things that was imitating him", Jaune gives Clover a full answer on what he means.
"Jaune, I known Neptune for years already, he's my friend", Clover protest.
"Gotta burn the rest of him", Jaune said as he leaves with the BT X-42 Flamethrower and Clover gathers the rest.
"Sorry Clover, but you have to accept that", James tells Clover that he had to accept that Neptune is dead and what was there is the Neptune Thing.
"I know", Clover already understand that.
Eventually they pour more gasoline all over Neptune Thing's burn remains and they Jaune torches the remains with the BT X-42 Flamethrower. Minutes later they bury the ashes with the small bulldozer. After everyone steps inside, Jaune need to check sometime out but spots Peter doing something with the Bullhead and runs inside.
"Peter?" Jaune called out to him and then checks inside the cockpit of the Bullhead and uses his flashlight to check the inside, what he sees in the cockpit is all mangled, beaten with something heavy and thus the Bullhead won't fly anymore.
"Did Peter just destroyed the Bullhead?" Glynda ask after seeing the cockpit of the Bullhead looked.
"Peter did because he is now having a mental breakdown after knowing what will happen if the Alien Thing gets to any cities around Remnant, so he destroyed the Bullhead and the rest of the Vehicles to be sure the Alien Thing doesn't get out assuming anyone in the outpost is infected", Hakaze explains what's going on with Peter.
Jaune steps inside after hearing Blaster Fire, also clanking metal. "Peter has lost it, he's got gun and his at the radio room", Mercury said as they can hear Peter smashing all machines that connects to the radio with an axe and shooting his EC-17 Hold-Out Blaster Pistol at anyone who tries to approached him.
"Plus he has killed the rest of the dogs", Qrow said and Cardin went to check.
When Cardin got there, he finds all the dogs dead with one an Axe on the gut before leaving.
"Let me guess, how paranoid Peter Port has become, he killed the dogs too assuming any of them are infected despite most of them avoided the Alien Thing", Ozpin ask Hakaze.
"Yeah."
"Anybody interferes, I'll kill! Nobody's getting in or out of this outpost!" Peter continues to rant about it while continue to smash things with an Axe.
"Peter smashes up the Bullhead, Ren check the tractor", Jaune said and Ren goes off to check the tractor.
"You think I'm crazy?! Fine! Most of you don't know what's going on, but I know you do!" Peter keeps going on smashing things completely while everybody else stays in cover.
"You think this Alien Thing wants to become an animal? Dogs can't make it 1000 miles to the sea! It wants to become us!" Peter rants more about it and smashes things as Ren returns to the others.
"He's got both the Bullheads and the tractors, but I don't know how bad yet", Ren tells them.
"Can't you see? If one of the Alien Thing's Cells got to any cities, everything in Remnant is imitated, then nothing will stop it!" Peter fires his EC-17 Hold-Out Blaster until it jams.
Then Jaune use a table as shield and he and others ram Peter with it and overpowers him in the end.
"Well at least they were able to subdue Peter", James said.
"But the bad news is nobody is leaving", Winter said.
"But at least the Alien isn't going to leave ether", Clover said.

Coming up, with nothing such has radios and vehicles off the outpost, well everybody has to deal with the Alien Thing despite the fact it's hard to trust anybody.
