Hermione pov

Returning home I frown grabbing the letters placed for me by Beeley while walking further in.

Finding an unused bedroom open I stop leaning on the door frame watching Beeley pet the newest snake sat on a bed whispering to her.

"How's our newest resident?" I ask softly.

"Is okay, very tired and scared ate very good" she says covering her back up fully in her nest of blankets.

"I'll see if I can find away to remove it" I add.

Looking at the letters I frown seeing one that's got the Malfoy crest on it, opening it I frown seeing a book fall out but then look at the letter inside holding a second one folded in it.

"What's it Miss?" Beeley asks still giving the Snake attention.

"It's from Lady Malfoy and has a school board letter in it hidden" I mumble.

"What's say?" She asks.

"This book belonged to Bellatrix Black and holds important information that was under strict orders to only give it to the Ravenclaw heir this year and you are needed here urgently" I read out loud.

Opening the next I frown "funds are missing for Hogwarts the Goblins are investigating it and have found a previously forgotten vault that has raised questions, they are planning to sweep every vault after finding a nest of unhatched eggs in one that funds were traced to"

"What of eggs?" Beeley asks sounding panicked.

"Hooch, I have to go see what's going on with these eggs" I call.

Walking out I sigh taking my Phoenix form as Hooch runs out, grabbing her I take off for England.

Sometime later

Landing in England outside Malfoy Manor, I roll my eyes at Hooch glaring at me while repairing her clothes walking forward I knock three times.

The gate swings open and I drag Hooch with me to the front door knocking.

It opens and I see Draco looking confused at us "Ravenclaw, Madame Hooch? What are you doing here?"

"I was called here saying it was urgent, please inform your mother" I say holding up the letters and book.

He nods letting us in before going to find her, glancing around I stop on a portrait of Bellatrix holding her wand smiling softly.

Stepping closer I frown seeing it's before what we seen that drove her mad "Madam Ravenclaw, I wasn't expecting you so soon or with a guest".

Turning I look at Narcissa looking her over "Madame Hooch is a family friend" I answer carefully.

She nods motioning to a room, going in I sit down looking around seeing a few Phoenix sculptures that all look like one I remember well.

Narcissa comes in and closes the door before sitting across from me "unfortunately my husband will not be joining us, he is still gathering findings".

Nodding I sit the book down on the table between us "why send me this and what was so urgent?" I ask.

"Bellatrix gave it to me the night she joined Riddle with the instructions to send it to the Ravenclaw heir this year"

Frowning I nod looking at the book "did she say anything else?" I ask.

"Yes"

"What?" I ask looking at her.

"Mist of fire, vault Lastrange and elf of Black hold what you seek" she says carefully.

"She said mist of fire?" I ask.

"Yes, your name that you declared yourself to be"

Relaxing I nod looking at her "so you know?"

"I do, I also know the story of a Phoenix landing on Black property one day, taken in and raised never the same name but passed as a daughter of House Black after each burning, now I have to ask while I trust her word do you dislike her so that her children take blame?"

Frowning I look at her "I never disliked her, I was disappointed in her, I have seen many children of her that have never held blame for her actions.

"She had one that recently hatched"

"What?" I ask confused.

"The nest found is hers, they hadn't been exposed to heat to hatch however when we came home, we found a Phoenix had came and hatched them, they seem unsure of what to do now and will not allow me to help"

"Show me" I say getting up.

Narcissa nods leading me to a library, I frown looking at all the books "I know, the elves are working on moving them to a different room, but this is our guest" she says before motioning to a black Phoenix I recognize easily looking distressed with feeding so many children at once.
