Esme was walking with her fox familiar Blaze wrapped around her neck napping a storm suddenly appeared from the sky making Esme look up in confusion
"I remember the weather report said it would be all sunny today, why is it suddenly all stormy?" Esme said suspiciously raising an eyebrow "maybe it has something to do with the spell...I mean nothing!" Blaze said nervously
"What spell?!" Esme said as Blaze nervously looked away avoiding his master's gaze "look at me when I'm talking to you" Esme said in an irritated tone of voice Lightning suddenly struck which caused Blaze to scream in fright
Elias appeared first rolling down the hill in pain with Raphunzel appearing not long after getting some bruises and injuries as well, both of themwere barely holding on to their consciousness
"The storm suddenly stopped as soon as that lightning struck" Esme said as she went to go see what it was and Elias saw her standing at a nearby tree when he finally lost consciousness
"Cracker jacks!" Esme said as she couldn't believe her eyes, two unconscious men were on the ground covered in medieval wear and looking injured
Esme quickly kneels to the ground to check Elias's pulse from his neck "the pulse is steady" Esme said and went to check Raphunzel's pulse "pulse is also steady? Strange you'd think having such wounds they'd be hanging on to dear life" Esme said rubbing her chin in confusion
"Blaze quickly turn into your true form and help me carry them back to the Shroud Manor" Esme said as Blaze turned into his human form and quickly went to pick up one of the unconscious men
But Blaze saw something on Raphunzel and Elias's wrist making his eyes widen in shock "um...master...I think you may want to see this" Blaze said holding up Raphunzel's wrist
Esme looks confused but looks to see a shocking sight, it was a blue fire soulmark and immediately went to check Elias's wrist then everything seemed to click in Esme's head
Esme remembered putting a book of old spells in the attic remembering having caught her sister doing something suspicious earlier today "I'm going to scold her when I get back" Esme said displeased
Back at the Shroud Manor...
Emilia shivered "why do I suddenly feel like I'm in danger" Emilia said as her bedroom door suddenly burst open revealing a not so happy Esme with a glint in her eyes
Emilia gulped "Emilia give me the spell book" Esme said making Emilia sweat nervously "What spell book" Emilia said playing dumb trying to play innocent
"I know you have it I distinctly remember putting it up into the Attic which you took out" Esme said unhappily "what do you even need it for!" Emilia said hiding the spell book behind her back
"To fix the mess you made!" Esme said in an annoyed tone "eh?" Emilia said tilting her head in confusion "come here" Esme said grabbing her by the ear and dragging her to the guest rooms pushing the door open revealing Elias and Raphunzel in bed as patients
"Oh jumping jillickers what happened to them?!" Emilia said in shock and confusion "you summoned them from another world they ended up Rollin down a hill and getting injured" Esme said
Emilia thought for a moment and looked at their wrists and deadpanned seeing the soulmarks on their wrists she wiped her sweat away nervously recognizing the soulmark immediately
"You summoned my soulmates from another world, give me the spell book" Esme said holding her hand out "no! Why should I give it to you, your only going to try and send them back" Emilia said clutching the book tightly
"Emilia some things are not meant to be, only beings like us should travel between worlds, they couldn't withstand the magic and couldn't land properly which caused them to be injured" Esme said trying to swipe the book from Emilia
Blaze having turned back into his fox form sighed and licked at his paws having been used to the many arguments that have been made already
[Blaze- what's going on I was napping] the blue fox familiar said yawning as he entered the library [Esme- now you decide to join us huh] Esme said with a sigh as she kept reading
Elias seemed to hear voices and slowly opened his eyes "you should not be seen with this ever again" Esme said finally managing to swipe it from Emilia's grasp
"What's so wrong about wanting you to find your soulmates and get a love life" Emilia said whining Elias turned his head to look at the arguing siblings but before they could argue some more Blaze saw him awaken
"Master one of them is awake" Esme immediately stopped arguing with Emilia and looked towards Elias who was already feeling the effects of the soulmate bond
His heart pounded in his chest feeling a warm feeling other than his ice powers for once "your..." Elias said dazed trying to sit up "lay back down and I'll check your injuries" Esme said gently pressing her hand on his chest
Elias did as she said and layed back down, Esme closed her eyes then opened them revealing her green eyes that were glowing using her unique spell "X-ray"
(X-ray- this unique spell allows the user to look through the body of anyone like broken bones and torn ligaments along with damaged internal organs)
Elias was really mesmerized by her beauty as she checked out his body seeing his left arm broken she immediately pulled out some bandages "your left arm is in need of a cast, I'm going to bandage it for you and give you the proper medication to get better" Esme said
Elias was about to speak but Emilia cut him off "just let her take care of you, she's medically trained after all" Emilia said Esme glared making Emilia gulp "I'll deal with you later" she said in an annoyed tone
