Final Ascension: Dan smiles as he stands on a pile of Super Puzzle Fighter blocks that seem to have crushed many Street Fighters and Darkstalkers.

Biography:

Born and raised in Hong Kong, but from a Japanese family. Dan's father, Hibiki Go, challenged the Thai champion of Muay Thai, Sagat, in a brutal fight where Sagat lost an eye and Go lost his life. Traumatized, young Go went to study in Japan under Gouken, the master of the Ansatsuken style, who expelled him when he became concerned Dan's desire for revenge would lead him down the dark side. Undeterred, the egocentric Dan developed his own Saikyo style and challenged Sagat. In their first fight, Sagat brutalized him, but a rematch took place when Sagat was a changed man, and he threw the fight so Dan would find solace.

Dan 'spared' Sagat's life, overcoming his lust for revenge, and went out to establish a name for himself amidst the Street Fighters of the world. His buffoonish attitude makes everyone disrespect him, but he has earned sincere friends in Kasugano Sakura and the hideous but noble Blanka.

He often wanders around on his own, erratically, just looking for rivals to fight and women to impress, and just to goof anywhere. He likes performing 'investigations' that basically amount to clowning, but he's known to run into useful information accidentally while pestering people.

Personal Skills:

Martial Arts: C

Dan trained under Gouken, the same martial arts master who trained Ryu and Ken, and he understands and remembers the basic of the shoto karate technique. His special abilities are substandard versions of Ryu and Ken's attacks, including:

Gadoken: A pathetically weak and small fireball shot from Dan's hands and generated from his chi. It is very slow moving and easily dodged.

Koryuken: A flying punch, Dan's version of the Dragon Punch employed by Ryu and Ken. It mostly works as an anti aerial move.

Dankukyaku: A flying kick that is easy to block, but it hits three times should it happen to land.

Gaoh Gadoken: An actually useful version of the Gadoken, comparable to Ryu's Hadoken, but Dan needs to be at full mana capacity to perform it. This and the Gadoken, being projectiles, somehow made him an Archer Servant.

For the standards of first line Street Fighters, he is utterly pathetic and treated as a joke, but to an average human street fighter, he would still be formidable. Even someone like Tohsaka Rin, who is still mere flesh and blood, would lose a hand to fight hand against him since he still survived so many beatings from Street Fighting living legends.

Golden Rule: D

He was born actually quite wealthy, and for a time this allowed him to travel all across the world looking for strong opponents to fight. He lost most of his money in unwise investments and trying to open Dojos nobody would want to go to. He still retains enough money to wander all over the world, but he cannot fly in First Class anymore, and this limits how much he can support his Master.

Taunting: EX

Taunting is what Dan does best. It is a gift that makes his rivals fly off the handle in fury at his mocking. That makes them lose their concentration and lower their guard. However, it also leaves him open to further attacks, and only provoke a much stronger enemy to hit him even more. This Skill is best used in a team, where others can support him while he lowers the enemy's morals. But who would want to team up with Dan...?

Dan's Hyper Combo.

It would appear to be a parody of Akuma's Shun Goku Satsu. Dan runs towards his opponent, at a reasonable speed that actually cannot be dodged that easily. Should he grab them, a huge ball of chi energy surrounds both combatants. After a few seconds, it creates a gigantic explosion that knocks out both Dan and his opponent, reducing Dan's mana to its functional minimum.

It is very damaging to most adversaries, but it is also nearly suicidal, and works as a last resort 'all or nothing' trump card to be used when there are no other options. Even Dan is smart enough to know this.
