Lucy sniffed as she walked to see Fangs one last time she wished she could have saved him
"Fangs, I'm so sorry, I really am." Lucy sniffed and kissed his head, then ran.
"I need to separate from my family. I can't let them get hurt." she says as Haiku ran after Lucy.
"I'm coming too." Haiku says.
"No I can't afford to l-lose anyone else" Lucy says
"And you won't. Together we'll find out who's behind this and we'll kick their asses." Haiku says.
Lucy nods and has a small smile.
They head to the scene of the crime as the men was gone.
"Shoot." Haiku says.
"Sigh." Lucy says as they continue walking.
"So about Lincoln is he okay? Is Clyde single?" Haiku asked.
"No." Lucy says, bluntly.
They keep walking for the day, not talking much. Soon, Haiku lit a campfire using a spell
"Do you think Lincoln knows about this?" Haiku asked.
"Probably. He has future vision." Lucy says as they begin to study some spells.
That night, some men grabbed them and carried them across the field as they were unaware Lucy and Haiku were pretending to sleep. They get in the truck.
"Boo." they say, scaring the men as they scream. Lucy casted a spell, causing the men to swap bodies as they freak out. Lucy took out her shovel as she whacked one and hit another. A third tried to grab her, but she used the tip to stab his hand as he screamed, then Haiku used a brick on his head. They took one of their shirts and ran into the night as the truck drove into Stella's house and crashed.
Stella shrieked and woke up. "What the?!"
Lucy and Haiku gathered some ingredients and use a tracking spell to find the one responsible
Meanwhile, the men were arrested as Lincoln, Clyde, and the others ran to her. "Stella, are you okay?" Lincoln asked.
"Yeah, I-I am." Stella says.
Meanwhile, Lucy and Haiku were walking and arrived at Luke's house.
"If we wanna win, we need Luke." Lucy says and rings the bell.
Luke answered the door in his bathrobe and pajamas, wearing dark blue bedroom slippers on his feet. His blonde hair was a mess.
"We need your help." Lucy says.
"With?" Luke asked, yawning.
"Invading a secret base someone is power hungry and wants something he shouldn't have… he may want you" Lucy says.
Luke sighed and went to get dressed. "So much for my beauty sleep…" he grumbled.
Lucy and Haiku's stomachs growl. They hadn't eaten.
"Girls, this can't wait until tomorrow?" Charity asked as she heated up some leftover spaghetti in her kitchen. "Luke's very cross when he doesn't get his 8 hours of beauty sleep."
They think and decide they need some sleep too. They never even met Charity until now. Lucy and Haiku began to eat.
"This is good. Almost as good as your dad's recipe." Haiku says as Lucy thinks back to her dad, who was willing to go on a vacation and leave Lynn behind. The same man who would have tossed Lincoln out if he didn't see this coming due to future vision.
Later, they enter a guest room.
"Got a plan?" Haiku asked.
"We sneak into the vents and kick butt." Lucy says.
Meanwhile, the man looked at a bunch of images of Lincoln.
"At last, his powers will be mine." he says, then slipped on some juice and fell.
The next day they walk up to the base and go into the vents. They see some bad guys as they sneak by
Luke leaped in and kicked a couple of them away.
The boss sighed.
"Um, sir, there's a bit of trouble." a man says as the boss looked and saw Lucy and Haiku in the vents.
"Let them come." The Boss says.
Lucy and Haiku soon arrive and see the boss.
"So what's your name?" Haiku asked, glaring.
"The Boss. I love being in charge and I need your brother and you fell right into my trap" He says as the floor shook as the room started flying on a big platform.
"Gasp!" Lucy says as he smirks.
"This will get Lincoln's attention for sure." The Boss says.
Lucy took out her shovel.
She rushed and tries to attack him but he dodged as Haiku used a spell to send the platform down.
He kicked Lucy, knocking her down. She tries hitting him, but he keeps dodging.
She was panting as Haiku tries attacking him, but he dodged as she used a speed spell and dodged some of his attacks. Lucy leaped and bit his neck from behind as he yelped and grabbed Lucy and tossed her to Haiku as the platform landed.
"Luce… use your anger." Haiku says.
Lucy gets up.
"Give up! Your brother will be mine." He says.
"No he won't, I will defend him with my life." Lucy said and chanted a spell as the ceiling fell on him. He screamed in pain.
"Sigh, you never stood a chance." Lucy says as she and Haiku walk off.
The Boss glared.
"I will have my revenge." he says.
Later, Lucy sighed.
"Sorry Fangs I'm so sorry" She says " I couldn't protect you, but I can protect Lincoln."
She walked up and looked at the sky. "I'll save you from your trauma, Lynn."
