Once again... it was a slow day! Unlike last time, Johnny wasn't alone. Touka sat at the counter with her head buried in her arms. Kaneki in turn was behind the counter actually doing work. Him, well he was cleaning the tables before getting bored

Kaneki saw Johnny randomly lighting things up on fire, but not burning them as he played around with his abilities. It was still hard to believe Johnny had supernatural powers and could transform into a flaming skeleton. Explains how he heated the kettle that day since Kaneki was never able to figure it out

The half-ghoul had read as many books as possible to figure out how Johnny had heated the kettle, but nothing could be found. In the end, he just let it slide. He never would have considered the fact his friend had powers... the thought never crossed his mind. Maybe it should since they live in a world with ghouls, gods like Thor and powered people like Captain America or Spider-Man

"Days like this make me miss stunt riding" Johnny sighed as he allowed the paper in his hand to burn before turning his attention towards the door. Kaneki couldn't help the small smile that appeared at his comment. He did have a point though, slow days make you miss the excitement and thrill. Must be hard for the blonde, going from stunt riding/battling supernatural forces to working as a barista just to gain some cash

"Someone's coming" Johnny suddenly says as Kaneki and Touka look at him making him roll his eyes "Supernatural awareness remember"

Just as he said that, the door opened to reveal a small group of ghouls. The trio of workers look at them, Johnny with skeptical eyes and Touka with suspicion. Introductions were slowly given, but Johnny was able to take a hint and tell he wasn't wanted in the room at the moment due to the glances he kept receiving. As such he made an excuse of needing to organize some boxes in the back, leaving the ghouls to discuss whatever it is they needed from both Anteiku workers

What seemed like at least an hour later or maybe it could have been more, just as the blonde was in the middle of moving a heavy box to the other side of the room, he heard the sound of glass breaking from the front. Dropping the box, Johnny ran back towards the front and saw someone who reminded him slightly of Touka. He had long messy blue hair and held a rebellious image with a black leather jacket and pants, along with knee-high black boots

Johnny wasn't sure what was happening but knew that this new arrival was trouble. He got in-between Touka and who he found out is in fact her younger brother Ayato... only to get kicked by the guy and land beside Banjou and his gang

"Quite the resistant one aren't you?" Ayato says watching the blonde slowly get back up

"You shouldn't underestimate someone you just met" Johnny says with a smirk

"Maybe, but you're still only human" Ayato taunted, making Johnny glare at him before the door opened once again. Standing at the door were two ghouls, one in a white suit and the other... Johnny didn't know what to make of him. However, he could feel Zarathos moving within and knew that meant trouble

Ayato seemed to know the new arrivals as Johnny eyed the white suited one; Yamori. Banjou tried to explain that Rize wasn't here (huh so that's what they wanted to talk about while he wasn't around) and got a chair kicked into his face, making him feel bad for the ghoul. Johnny watched him walk before something caught his attention and had to restrain himself when Yamori got into Kaneki's personal space. The teen was shaking like a leaf!

"Hey Nico, will this one do?" Yamori asked the other as Nice agreed and told him to kidnap Kaneki... wait kidnap!

Seems Touka was in agreement as she sent a kick towards Yamori only for him to block her kick as she said something that Yamori didn't seem to like, causing him to smack her away as if she were a fly before grabbing Kaneki by the neck

Johnny tried to intervene, dodging Touka since he knew she'd be alright but was kicked by Ayato due to his slight hesitation and landed beside Touka. He gets onto his knees and watches as Yamori slams his foot down on Kaneki multiple times. Johnny will have to admit he was surprised, maybe slightly impressed, when Kaneki struggles to stand with a foot still on his chest

Ayato, Nico and even Yamori seemed more surprised when they see the mismatched eyes from Kaneki, his eyepatch no longer on his face. Due to this Kaneki was able to throw the foot off him and went to try and land a hit... only to get impaled by Yamori's kagune

"Let him go" Johnny darkly says. Touka looks over at him and can only guess what is probably about to happen soon

Yamori turned towards him with a raised eyebrow. It almost looked as if he hadn't noticed him before, being concentrated on his task. He could tell there was something different about the blonde teen, something unnatural about him

"Hmm. Human, but with a slightly different scent" Yamori says ignoring Johnny's cold tone

Johnny growls as he allows his hands to catch fire making Ayato, Nico and Yamori look at him with expressions of surprise "I said let him go!"

Yamori just stares at him before throwing Kaneki away with his kagune "Alright human. You've gotten my attention. Whatever you are, you're clearly not normal"

"Why don't I show you what I am?" Johnny said in a mocking tone as his eyes glowed their amber hue once more

"Ohh I'm so scared. You're human, not a monster" Nico smirks only to morph his expression to that of shock as they, including Banjou and his team, watch the transformation from human to the deadly supernatural anti-hero known as the Ghost Rider

"I beg to differ" Ghost Rider says with a flaming chain floating around him and flames flickering on his clothing "Try and keep up with the latest news"

Ayato backed away. He's heard talk about a flaming skeletal figure able to hurt and kill ghouls "Who... what are you?"

Ghost Rider turns his gaze to Ayato who looks slightly freaked out at the hollow gaze and could swear he felt as if the figure was reading his soul "I'm the Spirit of Vengeance. I'm the Ghost Rider"

"I imagined something scarier" Nico says in a deadpanned voice, but shuts up when he sees the demon turn towards him. Ya he's heard about ghouls being killed by a skeletal figure and he rather not meet his end today if possible

"You have the weirdest taste in company. First humans, then this demon... and you call me crazy" Ayato tells his sister who tries to go in for an attack only to get thrown by her brother

Yamori was the only one excited. Finally a challenge for him! He eyed the flaming figure before him with calculating eyes. What fun he could have with this one!

Cracking a knuckle, Yamori shrugged off his white jacket and got a crazy look in his eyes. Ayato rolled his eyes at how pointless going up against this Ghost Rider was. Is he the only one to have seen and heard the news about the guy?!

Yamori lunged his kagune expecting the human turned flaming skeleton to dodge. He didn't actually expect him to grab hold of his predatory limb with his hands. What's worse is the burning sensation he felt from the grip, traveling through the kagune as Yamori used his strength to pull himself from the strong grip "Impressive"

Ghost Rider didn't hesitate in attacking, swinging his chain as Yamori twisted out of the way and was able to land a hit on his shoulder, kagune tearing the black leather but otherwise only damaging his clothing "Prepare to suffer for the sins you've committed. Prepare to face punishment worse than you could imagine"

Ayato shook his head, glaring at the skeletal figure. He was about to jump back into the fray when he felt a hand on his shoulder making him turn and have his eyes widen "Enough of this"

Before he could even activate the Penance Stare, Johnny found himself forcefully back in human form, much to his shock "What the-" he had started saying except that he couldn't finish when a blow to the head struck him and made him fall unconscious, the last thing he saw was Yamori picking Kaneki back up, Zarathos shouting at him to get up and an unknown figure crouching down before him

"Soon Rider, you will face judgement"

Hello people! I'm not dead or left this story hanging. Johnny's been captured! You all know what's coming next! I was going back and forth on whether I should have made Johnny be captured, but then I decided it was time to bring in some Ghost Rider characters and said 'why not?'
