Fate/Stay Night

WARRIOR

Ep.5 Darklord awaken

Amidst the school hallway, now bathed in a deep crimson hue like something out of a horror film, Rin and Emiya raced down the stairs, almost tumbling from the rooftop—not out of fear but driven by the need to fix this dire situation.

"I completely forgot about that!" Rin exclaimed, her voice laced with alarm as she hurried down the steps, closely following behind Shirou.

"We need to check on Sakura and Yuusuke first!" Shirou responded urgently as they reached the second floor.

Suddenly, a small black fog began to manifest on the floor, and before them, a grotesque creature slowly took shape, resembling a twisted, monstrous statue.

"Gyaaah!"

One of the creatures lunged at Shirou the moment it appeared.

"Whoa!"

Instanly, it was instantly blown away by a burst of Rin's magic.

Boom!

"Be more careful, Emiya!" Rin scolded, her voice sharp with concern. Shirou, now pale, instinctively backed into the wall.

"What… is this?"

"A bounded field draining life force... Keep channeling your mana—"

A sound like an exploding smoke bomb echoed from the corridor as more of those monstrous beings materialized, their numbers multiplying with each passing second.

"We can't possibly fight them all."

Rin's voice quivered with fear, though it couldn't compare to the shock she felt when she saw Shirou step in front of her at that very moment.

"What are you doing?!"

"There's no other choice... I'm going to summon Saber."

At the same time, without warning, the creatures lunged at them, determined to end their lives as swiftly as possible.

"Saber! If you hear me! Please come out!"

Shirou's voice reverberated throughout the entire school, and before him, a bright white circle of light appeared up.

the yellow brust firing out from the circle, hitting the monstrous, Instantly all of them disintegrated, reduced to nothing but dust. At that moment, Saber fully materialized, her presence radiating power, and the command seal on Shirou's hand faded away.

"Shirou"

Saber turned back, fully aware of what's going on around.

"Saber, I leave this to you!"

"Sakura! Sakura!" Yusuke shook Sakura's unconscious body, her condition no different from the others, lying still as if in a cursed slumber.

His efforts were in vain; she remained unresponsive, as if she were a sleeping princess under a spell.

"Damn it! What the hell is going on?!" Yusuke exclaimed in frustration, storming out into the eerily silent hallway. It was deserted, with not a soul in sight. He knew, with a sinking feeling, that everyone else in the school was likely in the same condition as those in his classroom.

As he turned around, he found himself face-to-face with several goblin-like monsters, their fierce eyes locked onto him with malevolent intent.

"Henshin!" he commanded.

In an instant, Yusuke became Kuuga, his powerful fists and agile moves obliterating the creatures with ease. The remnants of the monsters scattered across the hallway as he took a deep breath.

"Looks like I need to find the source of this." His thoughts were interrupted by a terrified scream echoing from the science lab.

"Help me! Rider, do something!" The voice, unmistakably Shinji's, echoed through the corridor.

Thud!

Kuuga kicked the door open, sending it flying off its hinges. What he saw inside shocked him to his core. A tall man was strangling a woman with purple hair... Rider! She was barely conscious, her body battered and bruised, blood staining her body.

"Yaaah!" Kuuga leaped into the air, delivering a powerful punch to the tall man's face. The man's glasses shatter, and he crumpled to the ground with a thud.

"You... You're..." Shinji looked up in astonishment, his eyes wide with disbelief.

Kuuga ignored him, focusing instead on Rider. She was in a dire state, her body covered in bruises, her strength almost entirely drained.

"You're a mess..." Yusuke muttered, a small smile on his face. "I guess this already pays off debt."

But before he could say more, the giant man suddenly rose again, glaring down at Yusuke with a terrifying gaze. His fists clenched with unnatural strength.

"It's... it's you... Sensei Kusuki?!" Yusuke's voice faltered as recognition dawned on him.

Without warning, Kusuki's fist, charged with a mysterious energy, struck Yusuke in the stomach, sending him crashing into a chemical storage cabinet. Yusuke coughed up blood, despite the armor protecting him.

"How can you be this strong!? " Yusuke groaned, struggling to get back on his feet.

Kuuga attempted a counterattack, launching his right fist at Kusuki, who deftly dodged and delivered an uppercut that sent Kuuga reeling into the wall.

Crack!

The impact caused Yusuke to spit blood inside his helmet, his body trembling from the force of the blow.

"Cha -!"

Before Yusuke could finish, Kusuki grabbed him by the neck, slamming him into the ground twice with overwhelming force. Yusuke lay motionless, defeated.

"Whoever you are... that's really hurt," Kusuki said coldly, turning his attention back to Rider.

In that instant, Kusuki snatched Rider's dagger with ease, crushing it to dust in his grip.

"Let's end this," he muttered, preparing to strike down the exhausted Rider.

But before he could deliver the final blow, a dark energy erupted from Kuuga's body, sending a shockwave through the room. The force was so intense that it knocked everyone to the ground. The once-red armor of Kuuga began to darken, black energy swirling around him, his eyes turning pitch black as his armor morphed into a more sinister form.

The three onlookers could only stare in stunned silence as Yusuke's agonized screams filled the room, echoing from within the twisted form of Kuuga. The transformation was complete—he had become something far more dangerous.

"Shi-!"

Kusuki attempted to strike again, but Kuuga easily caught his fist, holding it in an iron grip. His face contorted in shock and fear as he struggled to free himself, but the monstrous strength of Kuuga was too much.

Crackkk!

With a single punch, Kuuga sent Kusuki flying into a window, shattering it. The massive man crashed to the ground, blood pouring from his mouth, his body broken and battered.

Yet, despite the pain, Kusuki stood once more, his resolve unshaken. He raised his fists in a final, desperate stance against Kuuga, prepared to fight to the death.

"Master, let's retreat..." A voice echoed from behind Kusuki. A mysterious woman, cloaked in darkness, appeared by his side.

Reluctantly, Kusuki lowered his fists and vanished with the enigmatic figure.

Ignoring the battered Rider on the ground, Kuuga's attention shifted to Shinji. The dark aura surrounding Kuuga trailed behind him like a shadow as he approached.

"Rider! Rider! Get up!" Shinji cried out, pulling out a small purple book and frantically shouting in fear.

Rider, compelled by an unknown force, slowly stood up and walked toward Kuuga. But Kuuga completely ignores her; his focus is solely on Shinji.

"Rider! Rider!" Shinji backed away until he was pressed against the wall, tears of terror streaming down his face, urine soaking through his pants.

Arghhh!

Kuuga let out a bloodcurdling scream, writhing in agony as if something was battling for control within him. Suddenly, the dark energy exploded outward, shattering every window and glass in the room. The shockwave sent everyone crashing against the walls.

As the energy dissipated, the monstrous form of Kuuga faded away, leaving Yusuke unconscious on the ground. The mystical barrier around the school lifted, and the atmosphere returned to normal.

Shinji collapsed, trembling with fear. He still has PTSD from the recent situation.

Hiss!

"No... No!" Shinji screamed in despair as the magic book in his hand was ignited by the black flame. He attempted to put out the fire, but the book turned to ash instantly.

"Shinji!" Saber, Rin, and Shirou appeared at the doorway.

"Emiya..." Shinji muttered, looking up with the eyes of a broken man.

"What did you do?!" Shirou shouted, storming towards Shinji with fury burning in his eyes.

Before the trio could reach him, Rider, using the last of her strength, grabbed Shinji and leaped out of the window, disappearing into the night.

"Wait!" Shirou rushed to the window, but it was too late.

He turned back, seeing Yusuke lying unconscious on the ground, and hurried over to him.

"Yusuke?! Rin! Did Shinji's power affect him too?" Shirou asked, panic in his voice.

"It's strange... there's no sign of energy drain on Yusuke at all," Rin observed, her brow furrowed in confusion.

Saber surveyed the room, taking in the destruction and the signs of a fierce battle.

"It seems there were multiple servants involved here..." Saber commented, her eyes narrowing.

"Should I pursue Rider, Shirou?" Saber asked, ready to spring into action.

"No! There's no need," Shirou sighed, a look of determination crossing his face.

"We need to make sure Sakura and everyone is safe first, call the ambulance!"

Yusuke opened his eyes to find himself surrounded by an eternal darkness.

He must be dreaming.

Maybe this is what everyone else is experiencing while they sleep.

But then, the darkness gradually began to be replaced by something else.

He saw the familiar faces of people he knew well—a scruffy-bearded man and a beautiful blonde woman.

Dad? Mom?

"What's wrong, dear? It's your birthday today, dear."

Suddenly, he felt the gentle touch of tiny fingers on his arm.

Yusuke turned to the side and saw a small child holding out a large gift box to him.

"Here you go," the child said, pausing for a moment and looking directly into Yusuke's eyes.

"Are you dreaming, brother?"

Yusuke's blurred vision gradually cleared, revealing the white ceiling with a light fixture. When he turned to the side, he saw Shiro sitting nearby, resting his chin in his hand, a look of relief on his face as he saw Yusuke awake.

"God, you're awake." Shiro said, letting out a sigh.

"What the hell happened..." Yusuke scanned the room, noticing several beds similar to his own, making him realize he was in a hospital.

"Shinji used his servant to deploy a field over the school. He intended to observe everyone's power, but then, suddenly, he just ran off."

"Ah…"

"Everyone's safe, including Sakura... By the way, when I found you, you were in the same room as Shinji. Do you remember what happened?"

Shiro's question triggered something in Yusuke's mind. He quickly turned his head, eyes wide.

"I remember fighting my way to the science lab and finding Shinji... and then..."

"And then?" Shiro frowned as Yusuke suddenly cut off.

"Kuzuki-sensei," Yusuke said softly, the name sending a chill down Shiro's spine.

"He's a Master."

"No way!… Kuzuki-sensei?" Shiro's disbelief was evident.

"It's true… But I'm not sure who his servant is. I only know it's probably a woman, like Rider."

Yusuke's answer made Shiro tense up.

"Did you fight him and Rider?"

"I didn't fight Rider," Yusuke paused. "Kuzuki-sensei was the one I fought. I tried to take him down, but he countered. Next thing I knew, I woke up here."

"You? Taken down by Kuzuki-sensei?" Shiro looked shocked.

"I underestimated him a bit... Besides, his strength... it's beyond that of a normal human. Even with my armor on, he managed to break through."

Suddenly, the sound of curtains sliding open caught their attention. A nurse walked in, carrying a tray with a syringe, a small vial, and some cotton.

"I need to take a blood sample, please."

"Sure, go ahead," Yusuke replied.

The nurse leaned in and began preparing the equipment, slowly inserting the needle into Yusuke's right arm.

"Shirou… You've been on this position before, haven't you?" The nurse broke the silence, glancing briefly at Shiro.

"Yes, it's been a while, but I still remember," Shiro replied politely, watching the red liquid slowly fill the syringe.

"You were lucky that someone saved you back then. Seeing that person's smile, I knew if you stayed with them, you'd find happiness."

"That's true," Shiro responded with a dry smile.

"That incident was pretty bad... I'm not sure if the gods were punishing us or—"

"What incident?" Yusuke interrupted, his voice filled with curiosity.

His question made the nurse frown.

"Strange that you don't know about it. You must be from out of town..."

"Yeah, that's right," Yusuke confirmed.

The nurse sighed deeply, looking troubled as she prepared to share some heavy information.

"Ten years ago, this place experienced a great disaster. A mysterious fire engulfed the entire city. There were hardly any survivors because most people died instantly."

"Burned down the entire city!?" Yusuke's face showed shock as he glanced at Shiro, who looked visibly uncomfortable.

"No one knows the cause; it's all a mystery. This incident is similar to a massive explosion that happened in Fuyuki City about a hundred years ago. It's almost as if someone is trying to cover up these events."

After finishing her story, the nurse noticed the blood sample was ready. She carefully removed the needle from Yusuke's skin and pressed cotton on the spot.

"If your blood test results are clear, you can go home. I won't keep you any longer."

She said this before leaving the room with the tray.

"Dammit!" Shinji screamed, his voice filled with rage as he clenched his teeth, his face turning red with anger.

The room was a complete mess, with shattered items scattered everywhere. Shinji began venting his fury on everything around him, even smashing the mirror in front of him.

"Yusuke Godai! You've ruined my life!" Shinji punched the mirror with all his might, causing it to crack right at the point where his reflection stared back at him.

"If it weren't for you... I wouldn't have to lose my servant like this!" He pulled his hand away from the mirror, leaving behind smears of his blood on the cracks. Despite the pain from his injured hand, his anger was far greater, making him feel as though he could tear someone's soul apart without hesitation.

"And that damn Sakura just got away with Rider, Damn! Damn! I should just kill you! "

"You don't have to do anything anymore." a mysterious voice suddenly spoke, causing Shinji to flinch in surprise. He turned around to see an old, bald, short man with deathly pale skin standing there. Shinji recoiled in horror, backing into the broken mirror.

"Grandfather…" Shinji stammered, his voice trembling.

"The Holy Grail War is no longer necessary," the old man sneered, a wide, sinister grin stretching across his face.

"The Dark Lord has awakened."

As soon as he finished speaking, the old man burst into maniacal laughter, the sound echoing throughout the room as if he were experiencing the greatest joy he had ever known.

"What!? Ryuudou Temple?" Shirou exclaimed in a high, pitched voice.

"Archer did some scouting... There's a servant at Ryuudou Temple, but we're not sure which class it is," Rin replied, resting her chin on her hand.

"Should we go there and attack now?" Yusuke suggested, but Rin immediately shook her head.

"Wait! We don't have any information about this servant yet.

"You're right…" Yusuke leaned back on the sofa, crossing his arms as he continued to think. "But based on what you've said, Kuzuki's servant might be a caster."

"Caster?" Yusuke and Shirou echoed together, leaning closer to Rin.

"Flying, vanishing, enhancing the master's physical abilities... These are all clear signs of Caster's magecraft. Plus, we already know the identities of Berserker, Rider, and Lancer, who have disappeared. And Assassin wouldn't have that kind of power."

"So, a mage like you, huh?" Yusuke raised his right eyebrow as he questioned her.

"Not exactly. In most cases, they have more power than a master who is a mage. It's going to be another tricky situation... We need to plan carefully," Rin concluded, and the room fell silent as everyone sank into deep thought. Suddenly, Rin remembered something.

"Wait, speaking of which, how's Sakura?" Rin asked, turning to Shirou, who had been staring at the teacup on the table.

"She's getting better... The doctor said she can go home tomorrow." Shirou stopped mid-sentence before quickly standing up. "That's right! I almost forgot—I promised Sakura!"

He slung his bag over his shoulder and looked down at Rin.

"Are you coming with me?"

"Huh!? No, no, it's fine. I… I have things I need to take care of. Rin hastily refused, her behavior making Yusuke eye her suspiciously.

"And you, Yusuke, are you coming?"

"Of course I'm going," Yusuke replied immediately, standing up.

"See you later, Rin."

On the long, sloping marble road, the last rays of the setting sun reflected off the ground and walls, creating a dazzling, shimmering effect. Two young men were walking down the road, chatting casually.

"Hey, didn't you notice Rin acting strange when you mentioned Sakura?" Yusuke asked Shiro, his face showing signs of irritation.

"Notice what? She already said she was busy, so she couldn't come." Shiro replied, seemingly oblivious.

Upon hearing Shirou's response, Yusuke immediately smacked his own forehead.

"You're really...I am out of words."

"Anyway, we have bigger things to worry about right now."

Thud!

The two young men suddenly stopped in their tracks. In front of them stood a young man with golden hair, dressed in white with a black jacket, blocking their path. What confirmed to them that this was no ordinary person were his eyes, a shade of red like gleaming rubies reflecting the sunlight.

"What do you want?" Yusuke demanded, his voice tense and his expression serious.

"I'm just here to see that guy's work piece," the golden-haired man responded with a calm, emotionless face.

"What are you talking about—?"

Suddenly, a golden circle appeared above the golden-haired man's head. Both Yusuke and Shiro were bewildered, but before they could react, the golden-haired man waved his hand, and something shot toward Yusuke.

Clang!

Yusuke rolled out of the way just in time to see that the object was a blue sword. However, what was more surprising was that shortly after it stuck into the ground, it slowly disintegrated into golden particles.

"Not bad... Let's see a bit more."

More golden circles began appearing behind the man. At that moment, Yusuke pushed Shiro out of the way before he started his transformation.

"Henshin!"

A massive barrage of weapons rained down on Yusuke, causing an explosion and filling the area with smoke.

"This is fun..." the golden-haired man smiled as he watched the blue Kuga form emerge as the smoke cleared. More golden circles began appearing behind the man, while Yusuke readied himself to charge forward.

The battle had begun.

In an opulent hall adorned with statues lining the corridors, a silver-haired girl in a long white dress walked down a staircase at the front of the hall. Two women, dressed as maids with covered hair and bodies, approached her, bowing deeply before the girl. Suddenly, the girl stopped and stared down at the maids with bright red eyes.

"Sella, Leysritt, I have a request," she said.

"What is it?" they both responded in unison.

"I need the key to the Einzbern family's secret storage room."

The two maids exchanged surprised glances.

"But Lady Illya, you've already been in that room, and you already said there's nothing important there, is there?" Sella asked, her face showing her confusion.

But as soon as she saw the girl's displeased expression, she bowed her head silently.

"It is important now," Illya declared as she turned to look at a sculpture on the wall behind her.

The sculpture depicted some kind of demon unleashing dark power, engulfing the world until nothing remained.

"The Dark Lord has awakened... and only he can defeat it."

Illya turned her gaze to another sculpture beside the Dark Lord, showing its body being torn apart from within, with nothing else remaining.
