Metro City!
A few minutes before...
In one of the many suburban alleys in the bustling city known as Metro City which is named after its former guardian and superhero known as Metro Man, a pink portal appeared out thin air as Steven, Lion, and Lincoln came jumping out of it.
"Here we are Lincoln, this is your stop!" Steven joked.
Lincoln chuckled. "Very funny."
The armored teen got off the feline. "Good luck recruiting the Powerpuff Girls."
"And good luck recruiting Megamind." Steven said as he began to leave. "Let me or Mr. X know how it goes when you're finished, and I'll come back for you."
Nodding, Lincoln watched as the two left through a portal. Once they were gone, Lincoln took out a photo.
It was a picture of a blue skinned man with a noticeably big head, and he seemed to be enjoying wearing black as he wore a skin-tight leather suit, gloves, boots, and was wearing collar with spikes on it and a cape all of the same dark color.
It was made pretty clear to the only Loud son that this guy wasn't a normal human. Either this guy is an alien or some sort of mutated human.
Either way, if his file the armored hero had on him was any indication, he was a good guy. But still Lincoln needed to be cautious. He didn't know how good this "Megamind" individual really was until he sees it for himself.
"Well, I wonder if I can send this to Lisa before I get started." Lincoln said to himself. "Lisa, can you hear me?"
"Loud and clear Lincoln." Lisa said over the suit's communicator.
"I'm wondering if I can send you a picture of this hero that I'm recruiting." Lincoln said as a yellow light appeared over his right arm. "Can I do that?"
"Yes, I forgot to mention but you have a scanner built into the suit located into the right forearm." Lisa said a little embarrassed. "Just place the object in front of you, put your forearm in front of it and the scanner will activate as a yellow light will do the scanning. To scan, just calmly move your forearm in a up and down motion and whatever is scanned will be sent to my computer."
"Okay, I'm sending you a picture of this hero I've decided to try and recruit." Lincoln said as he did what he needed to do as the armor opened up and a yellow-colored light ran over the photo as it scanned the picture of the blue-skinned individual.
"Object scanned." said a feminine voice inside the suit. "Sent to Lisa's laboratory."
"Woah!" Lincoln heard Lisa exclaimed over the communicator. "This is quite interesting. Elder brother, it'll take a while for me to analyze on this newcomer. But he appears to be of extraterrestrial origin."
"Maybe but he could be a mutant of some kind." Lincoln pointed out. "With a skin condition or something."
"Lincoln that maybe the case, but when have you, me, our family, our friends or anyone we know encounter anything mutant related at any point in our lives?" Lisa couldn't help but deadpan to her older brother.
"Fair point." Lincoln said as he thought about it. "But we shouldn't rule that out as I don't want to mistake him for something that he's not."
"Well, you should focus on finding him and see if he is up for joining the team." Lisa said before asking. "Regardless of his answer, do you mind asking if-"
"Eww, Lisa no! First of all, that's disgusting and second of all that's disrespectful of Megamind's personal privacy!" Lincoln instantly cut her off as he quickly realized what his scientific sister was trying to ask him as his visor turned red from embarrassment as he quickly shut his sister's request down like anti-aircraft artillery would shoot down a plane when it was trespassing into a country's airspace with ill intentions.
This wasn't the first time Lisa has done something like this as whenever something new comes along, Lisa would want to ahem... extract some kind of "DNA" from whatever subject that caught her scientific intrigue. Whether it was blood, organs or any bodily fluids she can get her hands on. This did cause some problems for not just the little genius and everyone around her and though over the years, Lisa has learned to respect the boundaries of people when it came to that kind of stuff and know when to back off when being told no on the subject, this habit of hers does have the tendency to pop every now and again.
"Please?! Just a blood sample will do." Lisa begged before she then said. "You know it is for science."
"Sorry Lise but I'm not asking Megamind for... samples of any kind." Lincoln said with finality in his voice though he did let out a shudder at the concept. "You're going to have to ask him yourself. If he says no, then that means no."
"Fine." Lisa said as Lincoln could practically feel her rolling her eyes from her lab. "Elder brother 1, another 0 for my pursuit of science."
"Thank you." Lincoln said as he began to walk out of the alleyway.
This was going to be difficult to do since it was a big city that he was unfamiliar with.
But hey, he was here so he might as well get started.
"Better get started..." Lincoln said to himself. "I am on a recruiting mission. after all."
With that, the teen hero took off using his suit's flight capabilities.
Present...
As the new visitor of Metro City was trying to find its newest hero. In the middle of the city, something was happening.
In front of a Metro City bank, there was a robbery in progress.
It all happened so quickly. It was just in ordinary day in the bustling city for the people of Metro City as a few of them was inside the bank getting their money from their bank accounts.
One of these residents in the bank getting her money was a certain woman by the name of Roxxane Ritchi, the city's resident reporter on many things that happened in the city such as the many encounters she witnessed between Metro Man and Megamind back when he was a villain until one day he finally defeated Metro Man, or what she and Megamind thought happened.
In reality, the Metro City superpowered guardian decided to retire from being a superhero and chose to fake his death in the final battle with his archenemy to pursue a career in music with... ok results.
After that, there was also the recent terrorizing reign of the villain "Tighten", who was her friend and her cameraman known as Hal Stewart until he was accidently injected with a serum that gave him the powers of the hero Metro Man and went on a rampage that nearly destroyed the city it was only until Megamind worked together with his best friend Minion that the city managed to survive the wrath of Tighten as he was defeated by the now heroic duo and apprehended by the city's proper authorities.
As for why she was here, she needed to get some money for a date night with her boyfriend Megamind. It has been a while since they had a date night given his new duties as the hero of Metro City, but she didn't blame him for that considering the long journey the super genius has had from being a villain and menace of Metro City to boyfriend of Roxxane and hero of the city.
Just then, the doors of the bank blew open as the customers looked in shock at who was there.
It was a group of 8 people, 4 man and 4 women respectively with strange looking masks as they were carrying weapons that appeared to be technologically augmented in some way.
One of the men had a spiked mace, the second man had an axe, the third man had a laser pointed blaster that looked like a regular looking pistol, and the fourth man had a staff of some sort. As for the women, one of them had a submachine gun that had different type of ammo, the second woman had a technologically advanced pistol, the third had a pair of wrist blasters and the last woman had a chain with a hook at the end.
"Alright people, listen up!" shouted one the women as she held up her submachine gun. "We're just here to get the money from the vault!"
"She's right!" shouted one of the men as he held up an axe glowing blue at the sharp tip. "Just stay out of our way, no one tries to call for help or play hero and you all continue to live another day."
To prove that they were serious, one of the females that didn't say anything fired a pistol that fired a green liquid which turned out to be acid into the corner of the glass table, that melted after a few seconds.
The crowd gasped in shock as they quickly tried to out of the bank however, they were stopped by one of the men.
"I don't think so." he said as he held up a staff as the orb on top flashed a white light with swirling orange lines. Most of the people were caught in its gaze and stopped in place. "Get out of the way."
The people did as they were told except for one.
Roxxane managed to hide behind a stone pillar and avoided getting hypnotize.
She knew that she couldn't take on 8 people at once even if she tried to especially since they're armed, so she tried a different option.
Call Megamind. Now.
In the streets of Metro City, a car was being driven through the streets. The driver was blue skinned, big headed alien and new protector of Metro City known as Megamind and was with him was a fish-like alien in a large robotic mechanical suit of armor.
"I'm telling you Minion, I feel like I'm on top of the world!" Megamind shouted as he continued to drive. "Finally, I have a chance to get a date night with Roxxane after so long!"
"Let's hope that it goes well for you." Minion said. "Hopefully, the villains will take a hint and take a day off."
"If they don't, I will make sure they regret messing with the new heroes of Metrocity." Megamind declared dramatically. "By sending them to jail."
Suddenly, the two heard a tap on the side window.
Looking out, the two saw a flying man in an armored suit flying alongside the alien's vehicle.
"Excuse me!" said the individual. "Sorry to intrude on your conversation but are you Megamind by any chance?"
"Ollo." said the big-headed genius. "I am, and who might you be?"
Hearing that caused the armored teen to pause a bit as he thought to himself. "Crap, what's my superhero name?" He couldn't believe he forgot about that detail. He was so focused on gaining his family's approval on him being a superhero that never stopped and thought about what his alter ego name should be.
He obviously couldn't say Lincoln Loud as that would be incredibly stupid of him to do.
After a few seconds of thinking it over in his head, one name came to him.
"Platinum!" He blurted out before correcting himself by clearing his throat. "You can call me "Platinum", yeah that's my name and I'm sticking to it. Or you call me Platinum Man, whichever one you prefer."
Hearing that made the blue-skinned alien smile a bit. "Well, it is nice to meet you, "Platinum". Do you need something?"
"Well, to make a long story short. Me and a few other heroes are creating a bigger team of heroes around the world to fight against evil. I was sent here to recruit you and your friend here too." Lincoln explained not wanting to give a long explanation. "What do you guys say, you in?"
The young hero's proposition to the two made Megamind and Minion look at each other for a brief moment. It was strange, even stranger then their redemption from being villains to now heroes. For Megamind, the new hero was quite surprised. While the extraterrestrial genius was sure that the government outside of the city has probably heard of him and Minion defeating the villainous Tighten, this hero wants him, him of all people to join this assumedly formed superhero team. Needless to say, he was appreciative of the offer. For Minion, he was just as surprised. Only a few years ago, an offer like this would be ridiculous considering he and Megamind's previous occupation. But now, he was shocked that another hero was sent here to recruit them into their team.
"Could you give us some time to think it over?" Megamind asked the young hero.
"Sure, take as much time as you need." The armored hero said. "I do expect an answer soon because I can't stay here all day. I'm kinda on a schedule myself."
Megamind pressed a button that activated the car's autopilot. "Excuse us, he and I require a moment to ourselves to discuss this?"
Nodding, the armored hero flew behind the car to give them some privacy.
"So, that guy wants to be a part of this superhero team?" Minion began. "I want to give it a shot. What is your thoughts boss?"
"Hmm, well considering that Everyman has just shown up and regardless of him wanting us to be part of his team. I'm having mixed feelings about this." Megamind admitted. "On one hand I can understand where the new guy is coming from. If the heroes of the world are united, then the forces of villainy don't stand a chance."
Megamind was quiet. Minion noticed this and spoke up. "Sir?"
"Sorry, it's just that the other reasons are that without you or me here, who's going to protect the city if we're not here to do it? Or Roxanne for that matter?" Megamind realized. Without them, Metro City would be under siege by anyone or anything that wants to harm it or its people especially including the people he has come to care about.
Before the conversation could continue, Megamind heard an alert sound go off in his vehicle.
"Emergency!" Megamind said as he quickly pressed the communications on.
"Megamind?!" whispered a female voice. "Can you hear me?!"
"Roxanne?" Megamind whispered in surprise. "What's going on? Why are you whispering?"
"Some people are trying to rob the Metro City bank." The reporter said quickly. "There's 8 in total, 4 men and 4 women, and they are heavily armed with dangerous weapons! They have hostages too including me! You have to-"
"Hey, what are you doing?!" shouted one the men as he grabbed the phone. "We said NO CALLS!"
Just like that the communication ended.
"Oh man, this looks serious." Minion pointed out as he looked to his friend. "Megamind?"
The blue-skinned and big-headed genius was tightly gripping the steering wheel. His love Roxanne was now in danger by these 8 mysterious individuals. If they hurt her (or any of the hostages) in anyway, he swears that's he's going to make that it'll be the mistake they ever made!
Minion quickly noticed this and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Sir, I know you're angry, but you need to calm down. Getting angry is not going to help and endanger more people if you fight those in this state of mind. Remember we're heroes now."
Hearing his best friend's words got through to Megamind as he closed his eyes and began to take slow, deep and calming breaths.
The inside of the vehicle grew quiet as the genius was now calm before he spoke again.
"You're right Minion, we're heroes and I must remain calm. Getting mad is not going to help." Megamind said as he opened his window. "Excuse me, Platinum."
"Yeah?" Lincoln said as he flew up to the genius hero.
"Me and Minion discussed your offer but right now Metrocity bank is in danger." Megamind said. "If you're willing to help us stop that robbery, then we'll give you, our answer. How does that sound?"
"Sounds fair." Lincoln said. "Where do we need to go?"
"Just follow my car and we'll be there." said the blue-skinned genius as he turned back to the steering wheel. "Computer, full speed to the Metrocity Bank!"
The car's thruster activated as the car rocketed through the city streets with Platinum Man following close alongside it.
The blue-skinned hero picked up a rifle-like weapon with the chambers of a revolver.
"Ready to save the day, Minion?" He began as he thought to himself. "Hang on Roxanne, I'm on my way!"
"Always ready Megamind." Minion said enthusiastically. "Let's show those evildoers what happens when they mess with Roxanne or innocent people for that matter!"
At the Metro City bank, Roxanne and the hostages were rounded and tied up as four of the armed robbers were keeping an eye on them as for the other four were loading the bags of money into the truck.
"Come on, come on!" one of the men who had the hypnotizing staff muttered to himself.
"Let's hurry this up gang!" demanded one of the women who had wrist mounted lasers as she chucked one of heavy bags into the car. "We need to get out of here before he shows up!"
"I don't get what you're all so worried about!" One of other girls with a hook that said as she twirled the chain around. "We have the cards here, he wouldn't hurt the hostages, if he tries to stop us or if any cops show up, we'll just threaten the hostages, and they'll back off."
"You really think it's that easy, huh?" asked of the men who had a spiked mace.
"Seems easy to me." the woman said casually.
Suddenly, the sound of rubber burning caught the robbers' ears.
"Oh no, he's coming!" shouted one of the men as he chucked the last bag in the car before slamming the trunk in haste.
"Let's go!" shouted the women with the hooked chain as the gang of eight began to scramble back to their vehicle.
Before any of them could get into the car, they were cut off as Megamind's vehicle blocked their path.
The front door opened as Megamind and Minion exited their vehicle, ready to fight.
"Ollo!" Megamind said as he pointed his ranged weapon at the eight robbers. "Are you eight going to surrender peacefully or is this going to turn bad for you?"
Despite the clear fear in their eyes, one of the women began to laugh. "Hahahaha! You really think y-you're in any position to be making demands Mega-dork!"
"Yeah! In case you have realize. We got hostages!" taunted one of the women as she and one of the other men pointed their weapons at the terrified hostages the tip of her hook than glowed red.
"She's right, you big-brained fool." said the man as the tip of his axe glowed blue. "So, if you don't want them to get hurt or worst, you'll get your car out of our way and let us go!"
"Unless you want their deaths on your conscious." taunted one of the other men as he raised his laser pistol and pointed at the hostages who were whimpering at this point as they knew what that type of weapon was capable of.
Now Megamind and Minion were worried. Not only were they outnumbered 8 robbers to the 2 of them (or so they thought) but now there were hostages. They knew that they needed to stop these guys from escaping justice but how would they be able to do such a task with the hostages getting hurt or killed in the process?
Metro City's dynamic duo looked at each as a glimmer of a plan formed in their eyes. It was time to put that plan into action.
"Oh really, that's your plan?" Megamind taunted back at the robbers. "Taking a bunch of hostages, how pathetic of you!"
"Excuse me?!" was the robber's collective response.
"What is he doing?" Roxanne asked herself in confusion.
Roxanne and the hostages were also confused. What the hell was Megamind doing? What was he thinking taunting the robbers with highly advanced weapons? Did this situation terrify him that much that he was going insane from fear? Was he trying to get them killed?
"Yes, I mean think about it," The blue-skinned genius continued his taunting of the villains. "This is classic villain cliche 101. You can't beat the hero, so you play dirty out of desperation to score a win just to satisfy yourself and make yourself not feel like you're not a pile of garbage." He then placed a hand on his forehead and started to laugh a little. "And to think, I was once a villain like you guys and played these games myself. The only difference is that after I got what I believed I wanted, I found out that is wasnt as fulfilling as I realized, so I found a new purpose
Megamind's words were cutting on the emotional level to the villains as they continued to listen to him. Little did they know, someone else was there but the robbers didn't realize it until...

Suddenly, the weapons of the two robbers threatening the hostages were blasted out of their hands by two lasers as another laser blasted the ropes, destroying them and freeing the hostages.
"What the heck?!" shouted one the women in disbelief.
"Who's there?!" shouted one of the men as he pointed his gun at the new arrival.
"What's up. Call me Platinum." said the new hero Everyman whose palms were smoking after firing those lasers. He turned to the hostages. "Hurry, all of you need to get out of here right now!"
The citizens didn't need to be told twice as they all immediately began to run for their lives.
"Oh no! No one's going anywhere!" The man with the hypno-staff said as he tried to hypnotize the leverage once more... only for his staff to get blasted out of his hands as it flew a few feet away. "What?! NO!"
The man was now enraged as he and his crew's one chance at getting out of this scrap was literally shot out of his hands.
"Forget this!" shouted the women with wrist lasers shouted. "Everyone, attack! Kill all three of them!"
With that, the woman with the acid pistol, the man with the glowing axe, the woman with the hook chain and the man with the spiked mace attacked the armored Lincoln while the remaining four chose to attack Megamind and Minion.
The man with the spiked mace slammed his weapon on the ground causing a miniature earthquake.
"Woah!" Lincoln let out as he wasn't expecting this as he quickly activated the flight capabilities of his suit to try and maintain his balance only for one of his legs to get wrapped up in a chain. "Huh?"
"Time for some shock therapy!" shouted the woman as electricity coated the chain.
Before Lincoln could do anything, his suit was electrocuted causing him to scream in pain as the systems began to go critical.
"System error!" System error!" the suit's AI repeated to the Loud boy.
"Platinum!" Roxanne shouted from her hiding. She needed to help him but how?
Suddenly she noticed a long piece of metal on the ground and quickly picked up and charged into the fight. She may not have the amazing technology the three men had but she needed to help regardless of how to do so.
Seeing the opportunity, the woman fired her pistol her pistol-like weapon which started to melt the boy's armor away almost instantly. As for the man, he slashed his weapon the boy a few times, which fired off slash-like projectiles at the armor.
Lincoln was in so much pain that was difficult for him to come up with a plan. His armor was being chipped away by the acid and his body underneath it was getting injured by the axe's slash energy attacks. He needed to think of something fast.
"Leave him alone!" shouted Roxanne as she wacked the woman with the chain upside her head with her piece of metal, causing the electricity to stop for a brief moment and the three villain's attention.
"You little!" the villainess shouted as she kicked Roxanne in the stomach causing the reporter to fall to the ground in pain.
Megamind was behind cover as he heard his lover's groan of pain causing him to look at her. "Roxanne!" He wanted to go help her, but he was preoccupied with trying not get filled with holes at the moment.
"I got her sir!" Minion said as he held his mechanical arms up and charged at Roxanne despite being fired at a lot.
Now that the villain's attention was on Roxxanne and now Minion, Lincoln hatched his plan.
"Suit, activate the concussions blasts quickly." Lincoln whispered his command as quickly as he could before the criminals could turn their attention back to him.
Luckily, the suit's system overheard his command as he pointed his palms at the three opponents and a second later, a shockwave of incredibly loud sonic waves was emitted from the palms of the suit by 3 to 4 decibels.
"Aahh!" shouted the woman with the hook chain as she held her ears in pain.
Roxanne quickly covered her ears to avoid the really loud sounds, it wasn't deafening but still she didn't want to go deaf just in case. Minion was nearly blown back due to the intensity of the soundwaves, but his suit's durability wasn't something to scoff at. The other villains and Megamind were forced onto their knees as they dropped their weapons to try and protect their eardrums from the intense sounds.
After a minute, the young hero stopped his soundwaves.
Once the soundwaves stopped, the hero fired his lasers at the weapons of his opponents, breaking them easily.
"Oh no!" said the axe man as he knew where this was headed.
Minion quickly picked up Roxanne. "Are you okay?"
"I'll live, help Megamind." The reporter instructed as the robotically suited fish placed her down on the ground by a lamppost.
The woman was firing a barrage of lasers from her augmented submachine gun and the other woman was firing lasers from her wrist mounted lasers as the man was firing his pistol that was shooting lasers as well in a triple-teaming effort as they were chipping away at the cover that Megamind was using to protect himself.
Speaking of the blue alien genius, he was trying to come up with a plan as he held the De-Gun tightly in his hands. This was something new for him. For years, he had to contend with one superpowered man who he failed to defeat. But in this situation, he and Minion were up against eight people at one even with the help of a new hero.
All he needed an opportunity to come up with a plan. Quick.
"Megamind!" shouted Minion as he ran towards his master.
Suddenly, the man with the staff landed in front of him.
Raising his staff to the fish, he simply. "Fall under my spell, I am your master."
Minion tried to resist, but the staff's power was really powerful as the fish's eyes turned a swirling orange.
"I am at your will, master." said the hypnotized fish in the robot suit.
Grinning, the hypnotizing man said his first command. "Kill Megamind and that new hero over there."
Without a second thought, the fish in the large suit charged Megamind!
"MEGAMIND, LOOK OUT!" Roxanne shouted over the laser fire.
Hearing the reporter's words alerted Megamind as he saw Minion charging at him full speed. "Minion?"
Just then he saw Minion's eyes become an orange color as he raised his fist.
"Aah!" Megamind shouted in surprise as he rolled out of cover as the hypnotized Minion broke the ground with his punch. "Minion, it's me! What are you doing?"
Back with Platinum, he finally knocked out and tied up his three opponents. He looked up and saw Megamind was in trouble!
"Hang on!" shouted the teen as he flew in and grabbed a hold of Megamind and flew them to the top of a tall building.
"What's wrong heroes?" taunted one of the women. "Scared that you can't win?!"
"After them!" said the staff guy.
Minion ran towards the building and began to climb it.
Taking a moment to catch his breath, Megamind thought about what he should do as Lincoln asked him. "Megamind, what's wrong with Minion? Why is he attacking you?"
"It's the man with the staff, he's controlling Minion with it!" The blue alien said. "We need to destroy that staff, and Minion will regain his senses and return to normal."
"While dealing with three other people." Lincoln pointed out. "Let's think about this! There must be some way to do this!"
"I have an idea but I'm going to need your help." Megamind said as he flipped through the chambers of his De-Gun to the right setting.
"What's the plan blue man?" the young hero asked.
"All I need is one shot." Megamind said. "The problem is that those three down there are also armed with lasers, so we need to take care of them first."
Lincoln began to think. He and Megamind needed a plan and fast. Minion was getting closer and the two were outnumbered.
Just then, he got an idea.
"I got it." Platinum said as he quickly whispered his plan into his partner's ear.
"Well, if you think that will work." Megamind said. "But at this point, I shall give it a shot!"
Just then, the Platinum Man ran towards the edge of the roof and jumped down it towards Minion.
"Take the shot!" shouted the woman with the man the wrist guns.
Lincoln used this to his advantage as he held onto the large Minion, making the three dangerously armed robbers shoot and blast him in the back.
"No! You morons!" shouted the hypnotist man. "Stop shooting my Minion!"
Just then, a red blast of energy was shot at the man's staff, destroying it. "My staff, no!"
The orange eyes of the hypnotism in Minion's eyes faded away as the mind control finally wore off.
"Huh? What happened?" Minion asked as he began to look around.
"You were mind controlled but me and Megamind managed to break it." The white-haired teen quickly said, pointing to the guy with the remains of his staff. "That guy was responsible."
"Thanks, you two, I'll take care of that one. You both deal with the rest." Minion said as he jumped down from the side of the building.
Megamind destroyed the other weapons of the robbers before the Everyman tied them up with rope.
CRASH!
In a makeshift crater, Minon towered above the frightened man.
"W-Wait, Minion. You don't want to hurt me!" The man pleaded as he backed away from the fish. "Y-Y-You're a hero now. You're supposed to protect people, not hurt them!"
"You're right." Minion said as he walked towards the man. "I don't hurt people. I don't want to hurt people." He then grabbed the man and lifted him up. "But when people ended hurting those I care about, I tend to make exceptions."
Instead of knocking him out, Minion threw the man to Platinum and Megamind's feet... and was immediately restrained by the two.
"Okay, that's all of them." The young man commented as he was glad that the fight was now over. "That was close. These bad guys had some out crazy weaponry."
"Yes well, there's a thing you should remember about bad guys Platinum!" Megamind taunted the criminals as he pointed at them. "They always LOSE!"
Roxanne ran up and embraced Megamind. "That was amazing!"
"Are you okay?!" Megamind said as he embraced her tightly.
"I'm okay." Roxanne said as she looked at him. "Don't worry, I'm a tough woman."
Now that the criminals were tied up, the new hero then got down on a knee as he looked at the defeated criminals. "Alright, you guys owe us an explanation."
"Hold on a second, let me get my camera out." Roxanne said as she then got her camera out and pointed it at one of the criminals. "Greetings Metro City, I am Roxanne and right not you guys are witnessing the criminals that attacked the bank have been defeated and restrained by the trio of Megamind, Minion and the newest hero on the scene, Platinum Man."
Sirens were heard as 6 police cars soon arrived onto the scene of the fight's aftermath.
"Alright, you three. Thanks for saving Metro City but we'll take it from here." An African American 20-year-old man who had a goatee in a blue police uniform said as he and his fellow officers. "Alright, boys and girls, let's get them into the cars."
"Wow, you guys got here fast." Minion said to the cops.
"Well, we have been chasing these guys all day." A woman in a police uniform with red hair tied into a bun explained.
"Thank god that you guys managed to catch these armed freaks." said a white-colored man with an overbite and a thick brown beard.
As the criminals had the remains of their weapons were cleaned up and confiscated as they were escorted into the police cars, the woman with the wrist guns glared at Megamind before she managed to say. "You're going to pay for this, Megamind! You, your Minion and that new hero too!"
"Yeah, soon enough your day of reckoning will come once they come here!" Shouted the man who had the glowing blue axe.
"They?!" Minion said." Minion asked in shock. "Who's they?!"
"That's for us to know and you to find out!" Taunted the woman who has the submachine laser.
The group of criminals began to laugh as they were joyful when "they" come to town.
"Alright you scumbags! Into the cars!" groaned the leader of police squad as he ordered the officers to put these criminals in the cars.
The police then drove away with the criminals to incarcerate them for their crimes today.
Once the police were gone, Lincoln spoke up. "Wow, those weapons the criminals had given us some trouble."
Roxanne then spoke. "I agree. They were definitely something. Wrist gauntlets, elemental blades and especially that mind controlling staff were definitely something."
Megamind then thought about this for a bit. "I agree. I may need to look into these weapons later. I don't why but some of them seem familiar to me."
Megamind then shook his head as he decided that it would be better to deal with that another time as he made his car visible before turning to Platinum. "Let's get out of here. I will give you a ride Platinum."
"Thanks, I appreciate it. I've fulfilled my end of the bargain now let's discuss my recruiting proposition to you two once we're somewhere private." Platinum said as he got into the backseat of the hero's car. "I do wonder who the people are those criminals were talking about. They seemed rather confident about them."
Roxanne, Minion and Megamind followed suit as they got into the front seats of the camouflaging vehicle before the blue genius drove off.
"I say, we leave that for the police to investigate." Minion asked as he put his seatbelt on.
"You doubt my intellect, Minion?" Megamind said smugly.
"Not at all, sir." The fish said. "Just saying that we should get involved without more evidence."
"Minion's right." Roxanne said as she fastened her seatbelt. "You might get arrested for interfering with police work. You don't want to go back to jail do you?"
"Fair enough." Megamind said as he placed his hands on the steering wheel. "Well, whoever they are. We shall take them down just like we defeated Tighten!"
Without another word, Megamind then stepped on the gas and the car drove off.
However, what they didn't realize was that someone was hiding during the chaos and had recorded everything.
It was a young Japanese American girl with short black hairs styled into two buns on each side of her head as she was wearing a green tank top with a blue electric bolt on the front of it, transparent black gloves on her arms, a blue pair of jeans and black leather boots.
"Well, you saw it here folks!" the girl confirmed excitedly as she faced her phone's camera. "Once again, after a tough fight Megamind and Minion has defeated the criminals robbing the bank! They were not alone as there's a new hero in Metro City! What's his purpose? Well, it seems to recruit Megamind and Minion for something? What proposition is it and will they accept it? Find out everything once Megamind and Minon come back to save the day, and you can bet your bottom dollar that this reporter shall report everything that is behind the scenes. Until then ladies and gents, this is Keiko Morita, president of the online fan club Mega-Watch and social media influencer, signing off! Also, make sure you like and subscribe."
The kid then turned off her phone and stated. "I better get home before my parents bust me for being at the scene of a crime."
With that, she ran home as fast as she could.
In the car, Megamind spoke. "Alright, Platinum. Now that we have said the day, please tell me more about your proposition. I want to know exactly what it's about to make sure it is legit."
"Wait, what proposition?" Roxanne said as she was confused.
"Well to make a long story short. Me and some friends of mine stopped an evil threat to the world last night. With some government help, we are now recruiting other heroes to form a big team of heroes to try and protect the world better."
"Hmm, that sounds awesome!" Roxanne said.
"Alright, seems legit." Minion said. "But how is this going to go?"
"Where are meeting the other heroes." Megamind asked.
"Well, there is a base on the moon that belongs to one of my friends." Lincoln explained. "When you guys are ready. We'll meet the other heroes there."
"Excuse us for a second." Megamind said as he pushed a button to manifest a soundproof black colored glass window between the backseat and front seats of the car to allow for private conversations.
Megamind included this function to his car after the fight with Tighten as his car needed to be repaired.
As he witnessed the three talking, Platinum spoke into his helmet. "Lisa, you there?"
"Elder brother, are you okay?!" Lisa said in shock. "I left for a few minutes to get something nutritious, and my computer screen were going red before they stopped!"
"I'm okay Lise, I met up with Megamind, we fought some criminals trying to rob a bank and they had some dangerous weaponry that shouldn't be trifled with. Thankfully, we managed to stop their plans and now they're hauled off to jail." Lincoln explained. "Was my suit getting damaged making your computer screen go red?"
"Yes, I forgot to mention this before, but while I was designing your armor, I decided to link my computer is linked to your suit's communication system, meaning I can see and hear what you see and hear." Lise explained. "Thankfully the damage wasn't enough to destroy the suit so it can repair itself thanks to Lucy's knowledge of that science that I am still trying to understand."
"You mean magic?" Lincon said confused.
"You say magic, I say unexplainable science that I don't understand." Lisa said as a deadpanned as a response.
"Also, is there a turn off for the suit?" Her brother asked.
"Oh yes." Lisa realized she didn't say that when she gave Lincoln the suit. "There are two ways to turn the suit off. One is the self-destruct feature."
"Geez, Lise, how many things did you put into this overpowered suit?" Lincoln couldn't help but ask.
"Well, excuse me for not wanting the only brother I have to get hurt or killed in sake of protecting others." The little genius retorted with a smirk. "The self-destruct feature is a last resort should an enemy prove too much for you or should someone try to steal it and use the technology for their own ideals."
"Okay, now I get it." Lincoln admitted. "Hopefully it doesn't come to that. How do you turn the suit off?"
"Well simply say, "Let's go quiet." and the suit will retreat back into the watch." The genius explained. "Or if the hour is up."
"Looking down at his watch, Lincoln realized that he still had 20 minutes before the suit deactivates.
"Okay, still have 20 minutes left." Lincoln thought to himself.
"Roxanne, I'm glad you're okay as I need to talk to you about this." Megamind said once the soundproof window was up. "What do you think?"
The reporter thought about this for a bit before responding. "Well, if I think you should at least go to this meeting. See what they are all about as Platinum has come all the way here to recruit you and Minion."
"I'm all for it." Minion said. "I think we could use a vacation if it's only for a few hours."
Megamind thought about this for a few minutes before responding. "Okay, I will go meet the other heroes, but I'm still worried for Metrocity in our absence."
"Don't worry Megamind, the city will be fine." Roxanne said trying to ease the alien's anxiety. "If something happens, I'll make sure that the mayor issues an evacuation."
Hearing that caused the big-headed genius to ease up a bit. "Thanks Roxanne."
He pushed a button to open up the soundproof glass window.
"Okay, Platinum, we talked about it and have made our decisions." Megamind began. Minion and I will only go to the meeting." Megamind began. "If we're interested, we shall join your legion of heroes. Does that sound okay?"
"Sure. Joining the Destiny Crafters (our team's name) is optional." Lincoln admitted. "I have to recruit the other heroes but when I do, I'll come back to pick you guys up. Can you stop here?"
Megamind nodded as he stopped the car as Lincoln got out. "Lise, contact Steven."
After a few minutes, a pink portal manifested in front of the four as Steven and Lion leapt through it.
"Hey dudes." Steven said as he spoke to Lincoln. "They in?"
"They're just coming to the meeting Steven as they want to see what we're all about." Lincoln said. "Call me Platinum."
"Understandable and cool name." The hybrid said as he gestured for Steven to get on Lion. "I recruited Stitch earlier and he's in."
"Amazing." Lincoln said as he made sure that he was secure on Lon. "Call Mr. X and tell him that Megamind and Minion are coming to the meeting."
The hybrid nodded before he took out his cellphone and dialed Mr. X's number. "Mr. X, it's Steven, the Powerpuff Girls, Stitch, Megamind and Minion are coming to the meeting on the moon base."
"Excellent work your two." The FBI agent said. "We'll be sure to pick them up once everyone else has chosen to come to the meeting or decide to join willingly. The others have been sent to their respective locations already and are doing their part of the recruitment process."
"Awesome. Tell them that I wish them luck." Lincoln said as he then looked at Megamind and spoke. "I'll see you guys later."
"We'll be ready." Minion said.
"Just make sure you don't forget about once everyone else is recruited." Megamind said.
With that, the two heroes leapt through the portal once again after Lion created one, disappearing from sight.
