Chapter 3
Team Alpha is a coalition of 19 families, each dedicated to bringing peace across the eight regions. Their base is hidden within the Ketchum residence in Pallet Town. On the day before Ash begins his journey, Aurora and Adam, key members of Team Alpha, summon him to reveal the family's secret.
"Ash," Adam begins, his tone serious yet comforting, "whenever you need help, you can reach out to them. They will be there for you. These families are our trusted comrades, and I'm certain they all recognize who you are."
"Of course, Dad," Ash replies, his voice steady with determination.
Aurora steps forward, her gaze softening as she looks at her son. "Ash, I've taught you how to defend yourself, how to survive. But remember, you must only kill as a last resort, when there's no other choice. Do you understand?"
"I understand, Mom," Ash nods, absorbing her words with the weight they carry.
The next morning, Ash oversleeps, missing his chance to choose a starter Pokémon. In the end, he's left with Pikachu, a decision that turns out to be both a blessing and a challenge. Pikachu, at first, refuses to listen to him until a near-disastrous encounter with a flock of Spearow forces them to bond. In Vermilion City, they cross paths with the infamous Team Rocket trio. Remembering his mother's warning, Ash spares them, though their relentless pursuit of him begins. It frustrates him, yet there's a strange relief in knowing that their obsession stems from Pikachu's unusual power, a power that far exceeds that of a typical Pikachu.
This extraordinary strength in Pikachu leaves Ash puzzled. Why is Pikachu so different? The question lingers in his mind as he continues his journey, forming bonds with more Pokémon and new friends along the way.
Throughout Kanto and Johto, Ash travels with Misty and Brock. In Hoenn, his companions are Brock, May, and Max. Sinnoh sees him journeying with Dawn and Brock, while in Unova, he travels with Iris and Cilan. In Kalos, he teams up with Alice, Clemont, and Bonnie, and in Alola, he attends school, forging friendships with Kiawe, Mallow, Sophocles, Lana, and Lillie. After a year, Ash transfers to Paldea's Naranja Academy on Professor Kukui's recommendation. He spends two more years there before graduating, delighted to find Alice also studying at the academy while pursuing her coordinator dreams. Together, they plan to explore Galar and Paldea when time allows. After graduating, Ash joins Cerise Lab, where he becomes close friends with Goh and Chloe.
During his journey, Ash discreetly meets with the 18 families of Team Alpha, ensuring that none of his traveling companions catch on. These meetings are more than just friendly chats; they often involve discussions about the local Pokémon evil teams. On occasion, Ash joins them in their battles against these forces. Each family possesses one of the 'Infinity Gems,' a powerful heirloom that identifies them as part of Team Alpha, a sign that Ash knows he can trust.
Dr. Jekyll and his wife, Brenda, reside in Aspertia City with their two children, Nate and Rosa. Dr. Jekyll, renowned as the best doctor in Team Alpha, plays a pivotal role in the organization. He's the one who helped Aurora give birth to Ash and Golly, a moment that ties him deeply to the Ketchum family. In the past, he and Brenda spied on Team Plasma, and after the group split into Black and White factions, they sided with White Team Plasma, aiding them in thwarting the sinister plans of their Black counterparts. They possess the Normal Gem, also known as the Gem of Healing, a powerful artifact capable of healing any injury, no matter how dire.
In Alola, Professor Kukui and Professor Burnet live on Route 1 of Melemele Island, where they have been caring for Ash during his time in the region. They have a two-year-old son, Lei, who brings joy to their home. This couple holds the Fighting Gem, also known as the Gem of Boosting, which has the unique ability to amplify the power of both Pokémon and Aura users, making it a treasured asset within Team Alpha.
Felix Oak and Leaf Oak, who live in Pallet Town, are closely connected to Ash's family. Felix is the son of Professor Oak, and together with Leaf, they have two children, Gary and Daisy. Gary, though once known for his bragging and slightly annoying behavior, has matured over time, especially after the Johto League. He has since dedicated himself to becoming a Professor, often crossing paths with Ash, particularly during their encounters in Sinnoh and the Mew Project. The Oak family possesses the Flying Gem, or the Gem of Weathers, which can control the weather, ensuring that Professor Oak's ranch never suffers from food shortages, even during the harshest conditions.
In Twinleaf Town, Johana and Blade Berlitz form a distinguished family within Team Alpha. Blade works as an assistant to Professor Rowan in Sandgem Town, while Johana is a celebrated Top Coordinator. Their children, Dawn and Tox, follow different paths: Dawn is well-known as Ash's travel companion in the Sinnoh Region, and Tox is currently training under Dr. Jekyll in Unova, aspiring to become a doctor. The Berlitz family guards the Poison Gem, or the Gem of Disease, a dangerous artifact capable of creating any disease, standing in stark contrast to the healing power of the Normal Gem.
Cynthia, the Champion of Sinnoh, and Tobias, known as the Nightmare Bringer, are another powerful duo within Team Alpha. Tobias is infamous for his ability to bring nightmares to those with malicious intent. Ash once faced Tobias in the Sinnoh League, and despite losing, he is one of the few who managed to defeat Tobias's Darkrai. Cynthia and Tobias have two daughters, Verity and Emily, who share their parents' interest in exploring ancient Hisui by traveling around Sinnoh. They possess the Ground Gem, also known as the Gem of Order, which grants its wielder the terrifying power to control the minds of people or Pokémon.
In the Hoenn Region, Steven Stone, the Champion of Hoenn, and Roxanne, the Rustboro City Gym Leader, are esteemed members of Team Alpha. Their son, Luke, is one of Ash's classmates at Naranja Academy. Luke shares his father's love for mining and has assisted Ash and Alice in their treasure hunts. The Stone family holds the Rock Gem, or the Gem of Revival, a mystical gem capable of reviving souls, even those who perished centuries ago.
Burgh and Mancy, a renowned artist couple, reside in Castelia City. Burgh, also the city's Gym Leader, and Mancy share a deep passion for nature, often drawing inspiration from the serene beauty of Pinwheel Forest, where they first met while seeking new ideas for their art. They have a daughter named Shelly, who shares their love for creativity. It was during one of their excursions that they helped Ash capture his Sewaddle, a moment that further solidified their bond with him. The couple holds the Bug Gem, also known as the Gem of Memory. This powerful artifact allows them to erase or reveal memories, a tool they guard closely.
In Johto, Morty and Jasmine stand as stalwart Gym Leaders, each embodying their unique strengths—Morty as the Mystic Seer of the Future, and Jasmine as the Steel-Clad Defense Girl. Ash faced both in Gym battles during the Johto League, emerging victorious. The couple has a son named Shade and a daughter named Irena, though their paths rarely cross due to their responsibilities at their respective gyms. They are entrusted with the Ghost Gem, also known as the Gem of Spirits, a gem capable of rendering the ethereal corporeal, making ghosts solid and tangible.
Chairman Rose and Relena hail from the Galar Region, a pair whose influence and intellect have shaped the region's history. Rose, the owner of Macro Cosmos, once plunged Galar into chaos by unleashing the Darkest Day, driven by his fears for the future. Imprisoned for his actions, he later found redemption with the help of Team Alpha, acknowledging his grave mistakes. Relena, an archaeologist passionate about Galar's ancient history, stood by him throughout. They have two daughters: Elena, who took charge as Macro Cosmos' acting director during Rose's imprisonment, and Sarah, who works alongside her mother in uncovering Galar's past. The family is the guardian of the Steel Gem, also known as the Gem of Space, which has the extraordinary ability to expand the space in which we live.
Blair and Kabu, residents of Motostoke City in the Galar Region, balance their lives between hospitality and training. Blair, a renowned hotel owner, and Kabu, the city's Gym Leader, have a daughter named Helen, a talented young chef who has competed in numerous cooking contests since childhood. Ash encounters them during the World Championship, where he challenges and ultimately defeats Kabu. The family possesses the Fire Gem, also known as the Gem of Satisfaction, a gem that can fulfill desires—whether it's providing warmth in the cold or halting a lava flow threatening a village.
In the Hoenn Region, Wallace and Winona are a formidable pair of Gym Leaders—Wallace from Sootopolis City and Winona from Fortree City. They have two children, East and Reisa. Reisa, a classmate of Ash and Alice at Naranja Academy, is a rising Top Coordinator, while East is a skilled pilot who even teaches Ash how to fly a plane. The family holds the Water Gem, also known as the Gem of Disaster, which has the unsettling power to summon natural calamities, from whirlpools to typhoons, wreaking havoc as needed.
Reina and Ringo, hailing from Celadon City, are master garden designers and flower arrangers. Their daughter, Erika, is the Gym Leader of Celadon City, known for her grace and dedication to the beauty of nature. Ash once saved Erika's Gloom from a fire during a Team Rocket attack, deepening their friendship. The family safeguards the Grass Gem, also known as the Gem of Beauty, a gem that can craft breathtaking scenery, turning any landscape into a work of art.
Diantha, Ash's aunt and the youngest of Adam's sisters, is a prominent figure in the Kalos Region. She married Paris Volt, and together they have two children, David and Elline. Both Diantha and Paris are celebrated actors, known not only for their talent on stage but also for their invaluable contributions to Team Alpha, particularly in crafting disguises. As the Kalos Champion, Diantha frequently crosses paths with Ash during his Kalos journeys, offering guidance and support. The couple possesses the Electric Gem, also known as the Gem of Birth, a powerful artifact capable of using affinity to create new life.
In the Paldea Region, Tulip and her husband Dave live in Alfornada City. Dave, a Psychic user with the extraordinary ability to see through time, complements Tulip's role as a popular model and Gym Leader. Tulip, who places great emphasis on beauty and appearance, is a close friend of one of Ash's teachers and enjoys training Ash and Alice in the Emotional Spectral Dance. They have a son named Daniel. The family is the guardian of the Psychic Gem, also known as the Gem of Time, which allows them to manipulate time itself, an ability both awe-inspiring and dangerous.
Lusamine and Mohn Aether are integral members of the Aether Foundation, headquartered at Aether Paradise in the Alola Region. They have two children, Lillie and Gladion. Lillie, Ash's classmate at the Alola Trainer's School, and Gladion, one of Ash's rivals akin to Hau, share a deep connection with Ash through their respective journeys. The Aether family holds the Ice Gem, also known as the Gem of Calmness, a gem that possesses the remarkable ability to calm even the most enraged creatures, allowing for peaceful communication.
Lance and Pauline, renowned Dragon Masters in the Johto Region and members of the prestigious dragon clan, are well-known figures in the Pokémon world. Lance, the Champion of Johto, has assisted Ash on numerous occasions in combating evil teams. The couple has two children, Drandon and Lucine. They are the guardians of the Dragon Gem, also known as the Gem of Rage, which stands in stark contrast to the Ice Gem, as it amplifies anger and power in those who wield it.
In Zapapico, Paldea Region, Jackson and Isabelle, a famous musical duo, reside with their son, Giacomo. Terry, a rock star, and Ariel, a celebrated cellist, have made a name for themselves in the music world. Their son, Giacomo, after enduring bullying at school, rises to become the leader of Team Star following Cassiopeia's disappearance. However, 18 months later, Ash and his friends, along with Cassiopeia, work together to disband Team Star, ensuring that Giacomo and his friends can continue their education without fear of expulsion. The family possesses the Dark Gem, also known as the Gem of Darkness, a gem with the fearsome power to induce blindness in those who hold it.
Finally, Valerie and Wulfric, both Gym Leaders in the Kalos Region, are the proud parents of three children: Eve, Flora, and Alice. The family is entrusted with the Fairy Gem, also known as the Gem of Love, a gem that can fill the air with an overwhelming sense of love, influencing the emotions of those nearby.
Here is a new chapter and I introduce the gems and I hope you like it. The next chapter will be a time skip after Ash becoming the World Champion.
