Tiamat was satisfied with the results that the summoning process worked. Without wasting any time, she quickly took the flight to the Blood War in order to end those pesky demons. It was not even a fight at the first place as the demons were incapable of doing anything to her.
As she was fighting, or bullying by normal perspective, the demons with the combination of nitric acid and fire breaths; an unfamiliar yet amazing smell came to her nose.
The smell was delicious, as she salivated over it. Especually, her red dragon head. It was the greediest head out of all four of hers. And the one with highest quality of smelling treasures.
Her five heads snapped in action as they watched a masked mage silently flew towards at a pace unseen by past mages. He was faster than that old witch.
Not likened the fact this person was an intruder instead of her retainer, she gave the mage her tail swipe and sent him back at the blood-filled grounds of Avernus. All her heads opened at once, firing five different elemental breath attacks at the target. At that time, she did not think much of those treasures as she considered her own safety first and foremost. If this mage was sent by her mentally-deranged brother, then it would be even better to kill it as fast as possible.
Unfortunately for her, she missed that attack as three slashes from above drew the blood. The slashes were not common at all, but sliced through the very fabric of space. Much to her surprise, the mage had no problem teleporting around her and ddealing various sorts of magical damage over her.
No mage had this much strength to freely use the teleportation magic and such powerful spells so easily.
Was he the chosen of Mystra?
Was he using an artifact to constantly use such high level spells so casually?
Did something happen at the material world that caused such a mage to challenge her?
Tiamat had no idea of what she was dealing with. Despite being a lesser deity, her omniscience was limited to her kind. Her image was already warped by her dear insane brother. His act of playing justice around the multiverse was both hypocritical of him and embarassing for her.
Using her draconic aura, a massive wave of pure force spread across the battlefield in every direction. The devils and demons both got beneficial and baleful effects of her aura respectively.
"How dare you invade the hoard of great ruler of Avernus, the mother of all Chromatic Dragons, the Archdev—"
"Cut your nonsense dialogues! I am not here to watch your show!" The Overlord said as he used another spell to burn her white head. The spell was super effective, as she feel the pain of that head.
"You?! Do you know who am I?" She roared.
"Yup!" He replied immediately with an ice spell at her red head.
Tiamat was livid. To think that a mortal had lost all the legends she had marked upon the world, was an embarrassment.
Especially when it came from an archmage out of all. They should have been taught about her stories, her might, her position and her feats.
Was this archmage mocking her? How disrespectful.
"You will pay for disrespecting me. Die!"
A mighty fire breath launched straight at the intruder, but he vanished again.
He might have a favour of some archfeys. Only they were known for such quick teleportation and the number of times they could perform. Astral dragons were still up there in terms of teleportation, but they were secluded creatures so it was unlikely.
"Are you working for an archfey?" she asked, hoping for some reaction out of him.
He stopped firing spells at her and replied calmly.
"How...?!" He was shocked and that she could tell.
Tiamat smirked in her little victory and decided to see how far she could play with this archmage.
"That's because I can see through your facade with ease. You cannot hide anything from me."
"Hmm, really? Tell me more then."
Now it was Tiamat's turn to get shocked. Her heads locked at him with extreme ferocity as she contemplated her next words.
It was surprising to find an archmage with such a strong heart to face her and combined with his great magical feats. If only he came at her side...
"Why are you intruding at my domain? Are in search for something?"
"You can say that." He replied, this time more composed than before. "If you can see through anything, then why are you questioning me at the first place? Surely you have understood my mindset."
He'd a point. She needed to keep her act.
"You are not getting it. What I mean is that you are certainly a strong wizard. You seek for more power, and that's why you have come at Baator. Am I right?"
"You are not... wrong, but..."
Tiamat smirked mentally. She was close to get him under her claws.
"I can provide you that power. All you need is my guidance and wisdom. A pact with me will solve all your problems."
She drew her hand out as she awaited for him to join her side.
"Pact? How does that work?" He quickly asked.
"Huh? You don't know Pact Magic? The magic that connects a patron with its devotee."
"I know what is Pact Magic. I am asking about how it works, not what it does."
That was an odd question.
Pacts were usually made between a powerful creature and an individual seeking power in knowledge. Most pacts required the disciple to fulfill the commands or follow the orders of the patron.
When it came to making a pact with others, the patron must share some form of information to the disciple, and the disciple in return would fulfill the commands or just remain loyal to the patron. The patron held full control of flow of knowledge it gave to its disciples. An equivalent exchange between two, which served the fulfillment of desires of both parties.
She did not see any point of telling the means, but it sounded beneficial for her.
"All you have to do is to remain loyal to me. Follow my commands and I will bestow you great knowledge. The power you seek will be in your grasp."
Her eyes slowly went to his attire and then at his staff. It was the most eye catching out of all his items. Golden snakes with gems embedded in their mouths, holding unknown powers within their physical dimensions ready to be unleashed upon the world.
During the fight, she missed that staff's beauty and smell. It was like watching Asmodeus' staff, but more concentrated towards elemental energy. Being a dragon herself, her body felt much better towards the Elemental Planes. The staff would be the best sacrifice for the pact. Besides, she missed those planes and the elemental energies of those realms.
"To make a pact with me, you either need to swear on my name or give something to me. Like your golden staff?"
Satoru flinched and stared at his guild weapon.
"My staff?"
"Yes. There are many things stronger than such your staff. I will tell you where they are and then, you can make your strongest magic staff. Sounds like a good deal, right?"
For a moment, Tiamat felt a chill running through her spine. She wondered what it was until a massive punch made of pure force sent her away from him.
As she tried to compose herself from that sudden attack, the intruder emitted immense killing intent over her.
"You said WHAT?!"
Pure necrotic energy burst out of the archmage. As tendrils of dark energy seemed to swallow everything around him. His enraged voice did not sound like him.
"YOU DARE TO ASK MY STAFF! YOU DAMNED FOOLISH GODDESS!"
Tiamat blinked in surprise, "Eh?"
"I WILL KILL YOU! I WILL DESTROY YOUR GODHOOD AND TAKE EVERYTHING DEAR TO YOU! YOU PIECE OF TRASH, HEAR ME! YOU WILL NOW FACE THE WRATH OF MINE!!"
The staff that he held in his hand pulsed with immense power as four out of six gems glowed brighter with each passing second.
"FACE THE WRATH OF AINZ OOAL GOWN!!!"
His words boomed over the sky as he summoned four primordial Elementals brimming with strength greater than the original Elementals.
Tiamat had only uttered two words at his summons. As she could not believe at the impossible feat of summoning four primordial Elementals and controlling them so casually. There was only one type of caster who could perform this level of feat. And that was...
"Are you an overmage?!"
Primal Earth Elemental took the grounds and spread itself to the entire battlefield of the Blood War. From the ground below, it shot thousands of spears at Tiamat. The spears had the blood of the demons and devils, dealing either infernal or abyssal piercing damage.
Primal Water Elemental took the form of a squid and jumped at the the red dragon head, the strongest head of Tiamat. The water seeped through her nostrils, filling her mouth with voluminous amount of water. It also handicapped her ability to command the rest of her draconic heads.
Primal Air Elemental and Primal Fire Elemental took the sky. The Primal Air Elemental pressured the wings of the Dragon Queen with every passing moment. On the other hand, the Primal Fire Elemental absorbed the fireballs falling from the clouds.
One of the many features of Avernus was the rain of fireballs, similar to the Fireball spells bombarded from above. As the Elemental took the fireballs over him, its HP rose at significant amount.
"[Triplet Maximize Boosted Penetrate Magic : ...
... Necroshpere]"
Three truck-sized spheres of necrotic energies sent straight towards the black dragon head.
[Necrosphere, a 10th tier spell buffed by his [Dragonbane] self-buff which stuck at the black dragon's eyes and mouth.
[Necroshpere] was a necromantic spell used to stick a pitch black sphere of pure necrotic energy which also drained the HP of the target if not removed or cancelled. Only life spell of this tier could cancel or remove it. However, if the target was a golem or an undead, then it would fail. In the state of hunger, these three sphere would attack their summoner. Magic alone was not enough to remove them.
Tiamat could feel the constant application of necrotic energy over her entire self. Especially her black dragon head. She was not that weak to succumb to such tactics, but that might change if she did not do anything.
Unfortunately for her, Satoru had no plans of leaving her alive. Her fate was sealed.
"Once I am done with you, I will kill the rest of the chromatic dragons. Their deaths will bring your demise. Even your non-dragon worshippers would pay the price of your crime."
Tiamat herself was not wrong when she asked for his staff. Anyone would do the same if given chance. Satoru understood the reason for her request. He would have done the same in her place. But that was the case here.
What she asked was without a doubt one of the most precious stuff in his whole arsenal.
The Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown was the symbol of friendship for him. The physical manifestation of the hardwork, dedication and sacrifices that his guildmates, the first friends he ever made, had done over time to time. There was no way he would give up this item to a someone like her. Dragon Queen or not, he would kill her to the point where she would beg for the dragons she called her children.
"You will die each day in your pit. You will live your every moment of your life in constant fear. Your kind will die by my hands. This, I swear in the name of Ainz Ooal Gown!"
Though he was aware that the entity in front of him was an Aspect of the actual goddess. An avataar of the prisoned deity. Therefore, whatever pain he inflicted upon her was going into waste.
It did not matter to him whether it was true Tiamat or the fake one. His goal was simple.
The complete damnation of Tiamat and everything related to her.
He was wondering if he should end this avataar right away with his Eclipse skill or not. He was still inside the realm of Avernus — the world of devils.
He could not let his trump cards seen against her. It was quite sad that he could not go all out at here. Oh well, the beggars could not choosers.
The blue dragon head, green dragon head and the white dragon head were busy attacking him with the Elemental breaths they were good at like lightning, poison and ice breaths at rapid succession.
Fortunately, none of them worked at him. He still acted like he was taking damage from there spells, trying his best to dodge every breath attack. After all, he was innately immune to such elements including the breath attack, thanks to the [Breath Ward].
At the end of the day, this avataar was an inferior copy of the original Tiamat. To fight against the real monstrosity, he needed a better plan, stronger build and a better build than this.
From here, he would go back to the hidden dungeon he found in High Moors to evolve into an Overlord General.
A heteromorphic player could only evolve upto level 45. Where Satoru had 40 levels in his racial classes. With investing his 5 levels in the racial tree of Overlord type, he opted the Overlord General.
Overlord General class was known for their complete command over undeads, as they were called the "guide of the mindless ones." Such undeads were completely immune to Undead Domination and Turn Undead. On top of that, he would no longer need to expend XP for summoning the strongest undeads in his arsenal.
There were other new abilities and traits he would gain, but the above two reasons were the main ones.
"Time to end this whole charade."
He teleported away from her.
"[Super Tier Magic : Nibelung I]"
The highest tier of magic summoned a mystical sword floating in front of him. The hilt was made of a crystal dragon, whose tongue had taken the shape of a prismatic blade.
"Go, Nibelung!!"
The sword took the command and flew straight to the Deagon Queen's chest where her heart rested. However, the sword did not do any damage due its slow speed. The lightning breath attack of the Blue dragon head was enough to shatter the sword.
However, Satoru was neither saddened nor shocked by it.
Because unknowingly, she had activated the true ability of Nibelung.
