CHAPTER 2

Under the mountains of the SkyWing territory, MudWing Clay, SeaWing Tsunami, RainWing Glory, NightWing Starflight, and SandWing-NightWing hybrid Sunny were all sleeping in the night. As Starflight awoke to a NightWing roar, he went outside. As he went outside, some things fell on his head. It was scrolls.

"Who would be carrying scrolls around like this?" asked Starflight.

Starflight took the scrolls back inside the caves and woke up the other four dragonets.

"Wh-what is it, Starflight?" asked Clay.

"I was wondering if you wanted to look at these scrolls." wondered Starflight.

"Scrolls?" asked Clay.

Everyone later awoke.

"Scrolls?" asked Glory. "Let us see."

"I haven't opened them up yet." said Starflight. "But I will now."

Starflight opened up the scrolls.

"What is this?" asked Sunny.

"This looks like something not related to Pyrrhia and its history." said Starflight.

Starflight began to read as Clay, Sunny, and Glory walked away.

"Who could have dropped those off?" asked Tsunami.

"I don't know." said Starflight. "But…I'm tired. I should go back to sleep before the guardians notice I'm awake and reading."

Starflight went back to sleep.

Clay went to look at the scrolls.

"Narnia?" asked Clay. "I wonder where it is…if it's a place."

"It says here Narnia's a nation ruled by the Great Lion Aslan." said Glory.

"Aslan? A lion?" asked Clay. "Is this place not ruled by dragons?"

Glory remained silent.

The next morning arrived, and SkyWing Kestrel and SandWing Dune were very disappointed with the dragonets of destiny.

"We have heard you in your cave talking and snapping out." said Kestrel. "What was the point of that?"

"It was Starflight." said Clay.

"Oh, great." said Starflight. "Snitch on me."

"Let me see the scrolls." said Kestrel.

"Here you go." said Clay as he had one of the scrolls in his hand.

Kestrel began to read the scroll with Dune and SeaWing Webs.

"Narnia, huh?" asked Webs.

"Hush!" yelled Kestrel.

Kestrel continued reading the scrolls.

"Hmph." said Dune. "I'm not very pleased with this delivery."

"Neither am I, Dune." said Kestrel.

Kestrel proceeded to punish the dragonets of destiny.

"I can't believe that Kestrel punished us." said Starflight. "Those scrolls weren't even mine; they were just dropped off here." he proclaimed.

"Yeah." said Clay.

Sunny and Tsunami walked away.

"Where are you going?" asked Clay to Sunny and Tsunami.

"We're leaving." said Sunny. "We are not letting Kestrel and Dune punish us for learning new things." said Sunny.

Sunny and Tsunami flew away.

"Wait for us!" yelled Clay. He, Starflight, and Glory all flew off with Sunny and Tsunami.

Meanwhile in the skies of Pyrrhia above the mountains, Queen Scarlet's oldest son Vermilion was soaring high above the Dragonets of Destiny's hideout. When he came across the Dragonets of Destiny, he was doing nothing but staring at them.

"Urm…" wondered Clay.

"Who are you?" asked Starflight.

"The name's Vermilion, oldest prince to the majestic SkyWing queen." said Vermilion.

"Wh-wh-what do you want?" asked Clay.

"I was wondering if you had certain scrolls coming from Narnia." wondered Vermilion.

"...Urm…" wondered Clay.

"I was reading scrolls that were dropped off earlier. I have them." said Starflight.

Vermilion demanded Starflight to give him the scrolls. One of Vermilion's trusted SkyWing advisors arrived later on. Vermilion later proceeded to follow the Dragonets of Destiny to their cave once he found out they escaped his sights.

When Vermilion found the Dragonets of Destiny and the Talons of Peace, Kestrel attempted to confront Vermilion. However, it was no use. One SkyWing soldier killed Dune, leaving Webs to escape the cave. The Dragonets of Destiny were chained up and Kestrel was ordered to go with Vermilion and his advisors. Starflight wondered what was going on.

"We are taking you to Queen Scarlet. She is working in Narnia with the White Witch." said Vermilion.

"So the scrolls were real…" wondered Starflight. "I wonder what Narnia's actually like…is it like what is described in what I read?"

Starflight wondered what he and his friends would be able to encounter in Narnia.
