Link pulled his sword out and dropped it then fell onto his back. He was badly wounded in several places. Tatl and Tael flew towards Link. Tatl: Are you okay Link? You look terrible. Link looked up at Tatl and Tael then turned his head and passed out. All of a sudden Darmani grunted. Tatl and Tael quickly started flying around Link trying to get him to wake up. Darmani stood up and turned around. Tatl and Tael flew away from Darmani. Darmani walked over and picked up Link with one hand by his head. Link woke up as he was hanging by Darmani's fist. Link spit blood into Darmani's face. Darmani punched Link in the gut a couple times then in the face then threw him with force. Link nearly passed out again from the pain but as he flew through the air he saw his mirror shield. Link tried to focus and stay awake. He landed hard on top of his shield. Darmani started walking towards Link as he charged up his fire aura again. Link looked behind him and saw Darmani only about 20 feet away. Link looked up at Tatl and Tael who were watching the fight from a distance. Link slowly nodded at them. Darmani approached Link with a powerful fire aura charged up. Darmani raised his right hand and all the fire power built up around his fist. The fist came down as Link quickly stood up and braced himself with the mirror shield. Darmani's eyes went wide. The powerful fire deflected off of the shield and completely fried Darmani. His burnt body hit the ground and Link fell onto his back and dropped the shield.
Morning of the Carnival of time
Cremia and Romani heard a knock at the door. Romani: Who is that? Cremia got up and opened the door. It was Kafie and Anju. Anju: Hello, Cremia. Kafie: We just came to thank you for your hospitality while we had to leave clock town. Everything has returned to normal and we have moved back now. Cremia: Oh I see...Anju: We also thought that you would like to come to the carnival of time with us? You could even stay late and stay the night with us? Romani: Oh! That sounds fun! Can we go, Sis? Cremia: Oh uh...Why don't you go on without me Romani and I'll stay behind. I've got a lot to do. I have to do a milk and eggs trade with Grog, deliver a bunch of Chateau Romani to town for the carnival night. Anju: We could help you if you like? Cremia: That's alright. You guys go enjoy the carnival, okay? Kafie: Okay, you ready to go, Romani? Romani: Yes, Let's go! Anju paused for a moment then added: You know where to find us if you change your mind. Kafie, Anju and Romani left the ranch to head to the Carnival of time. Cremia watched them as they walked off into the distance. She had a blank expression on her face.
Link woke up with Tatl and Tael hovering around him. Tatl: He looks in really bad shape...Tael: Do you think he could die? Tatl: I doubt it. He is the toughest person I've ever met...Tael: I could...heal him. Tatl: Shut up, brother. Don't be stupid...Tatl: Link! Are you okay? Look! It's your Goron mask! Link looked down towards the mask and smiled. He slowly crawled towards it. He painfully reached out to grab it. He slowly pulled it towards him and placed it up against his face. He went through a painful transformation as his body ached and all the memories of Darmani came rushing back to him. He was still badly hurt but with his new found strength, he was at least able to stand. He rolled towards the entrance of the boss room and saw a couple jars next to the entrance. He broke them both and a few hearts floated out of them. Goron Link healed himself a little bit but was still in rough shape. He left the boss room and rolled towards the big round platform that lowered itself as soon as he stood on it. He turned into a ball and quickly rolled back towards the entrance of the temple. Goron Link quickly shot out of the temple and down the steep hill easily dodging all of the big boulders. Tatl: Link...please follow me, I want to see something. Link followed Tatl and Tael into the great fairies room at the bottom of the mountain. Link stopped at the opening where the great fairy usually was. Tatl: It's as I thought...No great fairy. Tael: What could have happened? If she's not here did she leave, or...did someone kill her? Tatl: I don't know what has happened but I doubt anyone or anything could possibly have enough power to kill the great fairy. Even Majora's mask could only break her into pieces...Tael: Yeah, I guess you're right. Tatl: Link, lets get out of here...Goron Link turned back into a ball and rolled out of the room. He shot towards the narrow path leading away from the temple. He quickly made it across the long narrow bridge over top of the gorge and approached the big jumps where last time he had to use his hookshot to jump and just barely made it across. Goron Link cleared each jump with next to no difficulty. About only an hour later, Goron Link had made it to the entrance of the north. It was getting late and the sun was going down. Link thought to himself: Better head back to Romani ranch. It's been a while since I've been there. Hopefully every one is still doing good.
