Tatl: Secret Zora item? That sounds like it could be useful...Link watched as the band left the stage. Link saw Mikau and Lulu head to their room. Link dove back into the water and left zora's domain. Link made it to the surface of the ocean and quickly swam to shore. Tatl: What are you going to do Link? Tael: Are you going to get that secret zora item? That would be cool! Tatl: Well it won't do him any good if he doesn't get the Zora mask first! Tael: Oh yeah, right...The sun started to go down then Link saw something in the corner of his eye. He looked over and saw Mikau shooting in and out of the water heading north. Link put his Goron mask back on and rolled across the beach heading in the same direction as Mikau. Goron Link made it as far as he could to the north side of the beach then took his mask off. He looked over and saw Mikau swimming towards the pirates place. Tatl: This is going to take much longer to swim across without your Zora mask...Mikau is going to beat us to that secret item! Link looked towards the little hut where he got the seahorse from. Link looked up at Tatl and she looked at the hut to. Tatl: Right! He has a small boat! Link ran towards the hut with Tatl and Tael following him. Link ran inside and Tatl blurted out: We need your boat! The guy in the hut replied: I can't just lend it to you...I need it for my game out on the ocean. How else am I going to make money? Link handed him a gold rupee. He replied: Hrmmm. Okay you can have it, but just for tonight!
Later that night
Link was in the small boat hiding behind the twin spires of pinnacle rock watching the pirates fortress closely. Finally the 2 giant doors opened and a ship could be seen leaving the fortress. Link started slowly heading in the same direction the ship was heading. Luckily, it was night time and the waters were murky along with it being foggy out as well, so the pirates or Mikau weren't likely to spot Link. Link got close to the pirates ship and didn't see any ladders leading to the deck so he grabbed the hookshot from his magic bag and aimed it at one of the wooden beams on the big sail of the pirates ship. Link pulled the trigger and the hook shot up towards the deck. It sunk into the wood and pulled Link up off of the boat. He landed on his feet then looked over and Link saw the small boat get ran over by the big pirate ship and torn to pieces. Tael: Uh oh...That guy isn't going to be happy...Tatl: Ah, who cares? More importantly...Where are all the pirates? I was expecting to see at least a few once we got up here...Mikau: They have...met with a terrible fate. Link turned around and saw Mikau who had blood dripping from his Zora blades. Tatl: You must be the last of the 4 new rulers. Mikau: Well...Not exactly...There is still much you don't know, Link...But as you progress with the mask of truth along the way...You will know by the time this is all over. Tatl: When what is all over? Why did you guys take control of clock town? Why are you posing as Darmani and Mikau? Mikau: You will know when the time is right...Link took out his sword and shield. Mikau stuck out his Zora blades and lit up a blue electric aura. Tatl: Link, be careful...Defeating your Zora form won't be easy. Link ran towards Mikau. Mikau aimed his Zora blades towards Link and charged them up with lightning aura then shot them towards Link. Link jumped over one of them then deflected the other one with his sword. Link got electrocuted upon contact. Mikau caught his Zora blades then ran and flipped through the air and swung one of his blades towards Link. Link blocked it with the mirror shield. Mikau round house kicked Link in the face and sent him flying. He slammed up against the cabin of the ship. He looked up and saw the Zora blades flying towards him again. Link ducked only a second before they cut through the wood and flew back towards Mikau. Link took out his bow and arrows and shot half a dozen arrows towards Mikau who easily blocked them with his Zora blades used as a shield. Link shot his hookshot into a wooden post just past Mikau. The hookshot quickly pulled him towards Mikau. He lowered his zora blades as Link put the hookshot away and still flying towards Mikau with momentum, he took his golden sword out and got ready to swing at him. Mikau jumped into the air and kicked Link in the face. The force of the kick made Link do a back flip and he landed hard on his stomach. Mikau grabbed Link by the throat and lifted him up off the ground. He stared into Link's eyes with an insane look on his face that seemed familiar to Link. Mikau started shocking Link badly with his aura as Link yelled out in pain. After shocking Link for about 10 seconds, he finally dropped him and Link stopped moving. Tatl: Oh no! Link! All of a sudden, the sky went dark and lightning formed. Mikau's eyes lit up every time the lightning flashed. The wind started to pick up and the waves started getting worse. Mikau: I think were close...A massive wave formed as a giant octopus surfaced out of the water. Tael: That thing is almost as big as the ship! What do we do? Tatl flew towards Link and tried to wake him up but he still wasn't moving.
