Link gasped and snapped out of it. He let go of the stone and took off the mask of truth. Tatl: What did you see this time Link? Link had a grim look on his face and decided not to say anything. Link put the Zora mask on and dove off of the huge cliff head first. He landed in the water after falling 60 feet. He quickly turned around and shot out of the water and started quickly flying towards the west entrance.
One hour later.
Zora Link flew over the west entrance gate. Shiro had been running towards the west entrance hoping to find Link in the area. Shiro looked up and saw Zora Link flying through the air. Shiro: Wow...A flying Zora! Now I've seen everything...Shiro waved at Link. Link saw Shiro and flew towards him. He tucked his fins in and did a front flip before softly landing on the ground. Shiro: Link! You got your Zora mask back! And you can fly now? That's wild! You could call it...The next step in evolution! Tatl: Hello Shiro. What are you doing here? Shiro: Oh! Right! Ikana canyon! Tatl: Aw don't tell me...I was just saying how lucky we were that we didn't have to go there this time around. Shiro: I sensed something that was off about the place so I went to go see and there's a huge magic barrier blocking anyone from getting in or out of that area! Link nodded then handed his Goron mask over to Shiro. Shiro: What...do you want me to do with this, Link? Tatl: Link, are you sure that's a good idea? Link nodded. Tael: Yes, it would be faster this way. Shiro put the mask on and cried out in pain and in fear for a few seconds as he turned into a Goron. Goron Shiro: Wow! This is crazy! I feel strong! I also feel...memories of the soul of this mask...Tatl: Try to figure out that body quickly so we can go to Ikana and deal with that magic barrier! Goron Shiro turned into a ball and started rolling towards the east province. Zora Link looked over to his right and saw that small body of water tucked away in between the west and south entrances. He quickly ran towards it then dove into it and shot out of the water and started flying towards Ikana.
Meanwhile, back in Clock Town
Anju: Things sure are peaceful here now but I still wonder how everyone is doing back in Romani Ranch. Maybe we could go visit them? Kafie: I'm sure they are fine Anju...She paused for a moment then asked: Does Cremia still have feelings for you? Kafie: That doesn't matter. You know I love you. Anju: I just feel bad for her...She needs a good man in her life. Kafie paused for a moment then said: Maybe we can go visit them. I guess we haven't seen them since the carnival of time and that was a few days ago.
Meanwhile, back at Romani Ranch
Romani: It doesn't look like grasshopper is coming home tonight. Cremia: Yeah...I guess not. Romani: Oh I get it! You are in love with Link! Cremia went red in the face and remembered that night with Link when she was drunk. Cremia thought to herself: I can't let Romani know about us...Link is only 14 or 15. Even though he was an adult previously...who traveled back in time...and defeated countless big scary monsters...Romani: That's cute! But I kind of wanted to marry him one day when I was older...Cremia: That's enough of that, Romani! I'm not in love with Link and you're only 11! That's still too young to be thinking about such things. Now head to bed! Romani: Yes, Sister. Romani walked upstairs and went to her room. Cremia walked towards the window and looked out into the dark ranch. It was just about midnight. Cremia: Wherever you are Link...I hope you're safe...Please come back to me...Romani: Aha! I knew it! You ARE in love with Link! Cremia shouted: Romani! Go to bed or you're grounded! Romani quickly ran down the hallway and back to her room.
Meanwhile in the East province
Zora Link was flying through the air with Tatl and Tael following closely beside him, while Goron Shiro was quickly rolling on the ground underneath him. Shiro didn't have magic so he couldn't move as fast as Link's Goron form but could still at least keep up with a flying Zora. A few Guays flew towards Zora Link in a pathetic attempt to attack him. Zora Link simply lit up his electric aura and fried them instantly. Goron Shiro was weaving in and out around the bomb goron's. He made it past them all then quickly took the mask off and climbed the rope attached to the tree trunk. He made it to the top then put the Goron mask back on and continued to roll towards Ikana valley with Zora Link flying directly above him. They entered Ikana valley at 10pm. Goron Shiro stopped in front of the river that had the magic barrier on the other side. He stood up and looked up at Zora Link who was still flying through the air. Tatl: Wow! That magic barrier is massive! Tael: What are you going to do, Link? Zora Link sped up and fully charged his electric aura. The light blue lightning aura lit up the dark sky as Zora Link flew full speed towards the magic barrier. Tatl: Link! Zora Link smashed into the magic barrier. It shocked Link and sent him flying. Zora Link yelled as he fell through the air and landed hard on his back. Zora Link let out a grunt of pain as he got the wind knocked out of him. Goron Shiro rolled over towards Zora Link and helped him sit up. Tatl and Tael flew towards the 2 of them. All of a sudden the magic barrier started crackling and shattered into several pieces of what looked like shiny colorful pieces of glass. Minutes later, the pathway was open to Ikana. Zora Link and Goron Shiro both stood up and looked up towards the Canyon. All of a sudden something loud and terrifying could be heard. It sounded like loud trumpets playing low notes, echoing throughout the entire sky. A sound wave passed through the area that made Zora Link and Goron Shiro's heart skip a beat. It sounded like several tortured souls all screaming out at once. Moments later, it passed. Tael: I don't like the sounds of that! Tatl: Maybe we should have left that barrier as it was! We better head back to Romani Ranch and check on everyone! Goron Shiro: Did you want your Goron mask back? Tatl: Keep it until we get back to the ranch. Let's go! Goron Shiro quickly rolled towards the east entrance. Zora Link dove into the water and did a sharp turn and shot out of the water and flew after Goron Shiro while being followed by Tatl and Tael.
