Chapter 1:useful
"Hinata, what we talked about earlier-" Tsunade began as she chowed down on a small plate of food.
However, Hinata interrupted her.
"I'm okay. Thanks to my friends. I know what I have to do."
Hinata paused as she looked around the table. Ino, sakura, and Tenten all smile happily, knowing their goals for this war. Ready to defend their village and their comrades.
"you have it good," tsunade told her. A blush formed on her face as she drank more sake. "okay guys! Let's do some gambling!"
The group of girls laughed and waved as the boys sat down at the booth across from them.
A few hours later it was time to go.
"After party!" someone shouted
"But where do we go?" someone else asked
"I have to get going."
"yeah, and I have more work to do."
It was then the whole group turned to their Hokage.
"Excuse us Tsunade sama, we will be leaving now." Sakura bowed speaking for all of them.
With that said, the group dispersed going off to their beds or going to finish more of their work.
Tsuande stared at the group, smiling with pride.
"They are truly a reliable group of shinobi." She told Shinzu.
"yes, mam. They are."
"hmm, come on shinzu! Let's go gamble!"
"but my lady-"
"im just kidding shizu! Come on let's get back to work!"

Hinata walked quietly behind Neji. Observing the night sky and the tall stone walls the hyuga had built leading to their residence.
When she thought about all her friends together, a sense of unworthiness swept over her.
I'm weak, compared to the others. I still haven't measured up to the elder's or father's expectations.
"Neji niisan?" she called.
He looked over his shoulder at her, letting her know he was listening.
"I want to become stronger"
"you are strong enough as you are." He told her.
"This war is to protect naruto kun. That's why I need as much power as I can get. I want to be strong! It's thanks to Naruto Kun that I managed to move forward."
"It is the same for me Hinata sama. He set me free."
The cousins fell into silence as they arrived at the main branch estate. Ko stood in the doorway awaiting them.
"Welcome back." He greeted.
"im home." She smiled.
Neji bowed, giving a quiet goodnight to them both.
As Hinata walked past Ko she smiled and said "Don't worry about me. Thank you ko."

The moon was high as red eyes watched the slumbering young adult. Her sleep was fitful and rest was not coming to her easily. He had been watching her for some time. Every few years checking on her often. He needed to make sure she was the right choice.
"so you want to be strong little flower? I think I can make that happen. However, it will come at a cost. Will you be willing to pay for it with your life?" he asked aloud.
The next few nights continued like this. The girl would train hard during the day and run simple missions around the village. But then the night would come and the restlessness would hit her hard.
He often found her groaning and crying in her sleep.
It was time to approach her.

"Hyuga Hinata. It is time for you to awaken" Itachi said quietly. He gently shook her shoulder, it was then that she opened her eyes, jumped back, and had a kunai ready.
"Itachi Uchiha!" she sneered.
Itachi held his hands up in surrender.
"I do not wish to harm you Hinata Hyuga. But I am here for a trade-off. I give you power, and you give me something in return."
Hinata sneered.
"no power is worth betraying my village."
Itachi smiled and was behind her in a blink of an eye.
"loyalty to Kohona is what I like to hear. You won't hear me out in your bedroom, so you'll have to come with me."
He then knocked her out with one move.
