The babies had not even been gone for a full minute when the back door slammed open when five filthy arguing boys came running into the kitchen and FROZE in their tracks. Billy & Charlie were especially sensitive to the magical changes of temper in the house - especially with a hormonal and post pregnant mother. Both of them came up to me and I wrapped my arms around them and began to shush them like they were toddlers.
I took control seamlessly, "Billy, Charlie? Are you guys hurt from practicing? Perce, Fred, George? Are you guys ok?" I asked and all five heads nodded. "Ok guys! Dora gonna take you guys out and help referee a quick game while I whip you up my Sissy Sammi-Specials? Ok loves??" I glanced over at Dora and she nodded with understanding.
"WHOO HOO!" Yelled Billy & Charlie tougher. Fred & George started fist bumping and whooping!
"But Sissy," Percey said, "I have the Potions essay and you promised -" he began with a look of absolute horror on his little face. Luckily, Aunti Andy to the rescue! "Do not fear Perce," I am not leaving right now and I would be happy to help with your essay". His smiled brightened and he whooped in delight! Quittich may not be his idea of "fun" but having a World Class Potions Mistress offer to help him - would!
They all ran back outside and they seemed to have taken all the energy with them. My Dad looked lost sitting at the kitchen table, while I slowly sank into a chair. Mom was grumbling and muttering under her breath.
Uncle Ted seemed to snap to attention and take control of the situation as he walked up to the Aurors. "All right, my name is Mr. Ted Tonks and I am Miss Weasleys attorney and agent so if you will wait out here on the couch for a few minutes so we can discuss some things with her parents, we can get down to business shortly." They all made themselves comfortable on the couch and I ask "Uncle Ted, can we ask Pinky come help? Maybe she can bring her sister Teally?"
"Great idea Doll!" And he called "Pinky & Teally! Come to Miss Ginny's house please!" Two little house elves popped into the room, Pinky with the sparkly pink pillowcase dress she made and Teally with the sparkly Teal pillowcase dress- I found them for both of them when they loved my Yule Ball gown so much. They have looked out for me ever since I met Dora when I was four years old, Officially they are Andy's, but they have always seemed to follow me around and Aunt Andy just likes that they are happy.
"Our friend Mistress Ginny! Wes have miss you, yes we did. We wear are sparkly dresses for yous!" They are nodding and so happy to see that I kneel down and open my arms- they both run to me and hugged me tight!
"Hello my friends! I am so happy to see you love your dresses! I have a special favor to ask you two" BOTH of them started dancing and bouncing around, excited to hear my request, "I need to have a special talk with my mom and dad, plus Aunti Andy, Uncle Ted and Dora so I need some tea and cookies for us on the kitchen table AND I have to talk to these nice people on the couch and need tea, coffee, and snacks for them too! I am SO worried about what to do!! (I exaggerated! Feeling like the star of an older movie as I clutched my chest and pretended to swoon!!)
Oh no! What am I going to do? I do not know how to make a tea service for almost 10 people! I need your help!" I made a big deal and they started nodding at me.
"Oh Darn! I forgot I needed help with my brothers too! Do you know any more elves that could help me with my five little brothers?" More nodding and Pinky popped away and returned with three more elves!
"Mistress Ginny- this being my brothers Reddy, Bluey & Goldie. They is very good with littles." She popped away and joined her sister in the kitchen.
I smiled at them and led them outside where my brothers were playing backyard Quittich with training brooms for Charlie & Billy, I introduced them to my brothers and told them to behave and listen to elves so I can talk to mom & Dad, I told the elves that they may be hungry and that they can eat the food made and showed them where everyone was. I also ordered them to keep them safe while watching them. I told them to come get me if they needed help. The nodded and watched carefully as Billy introduced everyone to the elves- they were hanging on his every word to make sure they did the job right.
Bill ran up to me and said "Sissy, are they your elves?" I was about to say that they are just helping & are the Tonks' elves, when he said " They are so nice! And they are SO happy and sweet! They make me feel safe!"
I startled a little, but I said, "Yes Bill. They are the brothers of my favorite elves so that makes them family! The three elvin boys stared dancing and happily helping my brothers and then they ran up to me and grabbed my hands- a soft blue glow came out and they said "Thank you Mistress Ginny! We have missed our sisters!" And went away, I was a little confused & I know my mouth hung open in shock but figured I would ask Pinky later when all the meetings were done. I noticed food appearing on the newly appeared picnic table and turned back around, "Goldie, Bluey, Reddy!" I called and they popped back in front of me, "Please eat some food if you are hungry too, do not ever punish yourself and please use any magic you need too if someone tries to hurt my brothers or you." They flashed light blue for a second and started crying- "thank you Mistress, we has never asked to eat with yous family! Thank yous! Thank yous! We wills protect yous!"
Dora smiles and comes back inside with me since the boys are now occupied and safe. Dora loves house elves and she has made it her personal mission to save as many as possible. I think, between the three Tonks members, they have over 50 of them. I love her more for it.
Walking back into the kitchen, I notice that Uncle Ted and Dora are on one side and have left room for me. Aunti Andy is there and my Dad is sitting far away from my mum. My Dad looks at me with red rimmed eyes and says, "Thank you sugarplum!" and my eyes full with tears as the nickname he calls me comes out of his mouth. "Thank you for helping the babies! I am going to pack some clothes and go sleep there with them, that way they are not alone! I cannot imagine-"
"WAIT Arthur!" Uncle Ted gently interrupts, "you need to listen to Ginny and what she needs to tell you first before we go see the babies. You heard Sirius, they are going to be asleep for 2-3 days so we are ok." He looks at me and waves his hand in a circle.
I took a deep breath and cleared my throat, "Dad, uhm Mum, Ive got some AMAZING news! I'm the youngest CHASER SIGNED professionally to the HolyHead Harpies in TWO CENTURIES! I have a FOUR year contract that is over THREE MILLION GALLEONS! Plus a ONE MILLION galleon sign on bonus! THAT is why I can afford to pay for the babies care and their home visit!" I blurted this out.
I did not want them to know the particulars on my 6 million gallon - 4 year contract and it was Uncle Ted who cautioned me about this! I was so excited! The sign on bonus made front page news because the Tornadoes, Puddlemere, the Falcons & the Harpies had a bidding war over me and it was national sports news. Had I not already been 17 and legally an adult, I would have had a very different outcome.
My Dads face went red and then pink and he smiled SO large and jumped up and grabbed me "My SUGARPLUM!! I am SO PROUD of you!!! You did it!! A professional team! Good job love!! Where will you live? With the team? Tell me everything! I am so happy for you!" Dad gushed! He glanced at Mum who was just sitting there quiet with her mouth hanging open- catching fish or flies.
"Well, a professional scout came to the last three games and, just by luck, Uncle Ted was there with Dora and he offered his assistance when he noticed I was confused, so I hired him on the spot! I am so glad I did! He got my bonus increased several times! He got my contract at the best ever! I am so grateful for him being my agent!" I gushed and hugged Ted. Ted sat there beaming proudly.
"You are most welcome Doll, did I tell you that THREE of your friends have asked me to represent them as well? I have had to start a Quidditch division at my firm! It's amazing! That is why I am your agent for half price doll!" He was so amazing to me!
After a few minutes, Mum said something that I would have never thought she would say. "Well, as nice as this little dream of yours is, you must refuse Ginerva. I found out yesterday that I am pregnant, again. Surprise Artie! I need Ginny here to help with my babies! She cannot be gallivanting around the world! I will NOT ALLOW it!" She smirked triumphantly and rubbed her already rounded belly!
Uncle Ted froze and said, "I'm sorry, what?" And he looked at me.
I stood up and calmly said, "Your UP THE DUFF?? AGAIN??!! Are you FUCKING mental? I am not turning down anything! I am NOT a mother! YOU are! Although you still shouldn't be! DAD!!" I screamed! "What the hell!!"
For the first time in my entire life, Arthur Bilius Weasley stood up and yelled at his wife! "Marion Agnes Prewett nee Weasley! As Patriarch of this family, I ORDER you the following: You will SHUT YOUR MOUTH at ONCE and NOT YELL at our Daughter, you will treat her with respect until I tell you otherwise. You will DO ALL the Motherly duties for OUR children from now on, YOU will NEVER ask Ginerva for help with the children, unless I give permission! If you disobey me or cause any more problems, I will CAST you OUT of the Weasley family! Is THAT clear? " He shouted!! Mum nodded frantically, looking at me with daggers in her eyes- without love or any type of happiness! He also said, "Now, sit DOWN and SHUT UP until I figures out what to do about our children's welfare!"
Arthur left Molly at the table and he moved towards the living room where the Aurors are. He turned to me and said, "SugarPlum, of course I am so excited for you about this news! Let's go speak to the Aurors and figure out what is happening to the babies, ok?"
I nodded, I could tell he was really worried about the babies and I was not upset at all. I had his support and I knew it. "Come on Dad, let's get some answer's".
