A.N. This chapter mentions scenes of intimate relations rather suggestively. I've kept it as clean as I could. This is the only warning I will be giving.

Dreams

Jamie and Spock are no longer on Vulcan but in a softly lit, private chamber. They step closer, their hands reaching out to intertwine fingers, initiating a Vulcan kiss. The air is warm, filled with an intoxicating blend of spices. Spock's face is closer now, his stoic mask slipping to reveal a depth of emotion that he seldom shows.

Their hands remain entwined, but now Jamie feels a deep pull, a yearning that transcends the physical. She sees herself through Spock's eyes and understands his discipline and the passion he keeps tightly controlled.

Suddenly, their bond intensifies. Jamie feels the warmth of his skin, the strength in his fingers, the rapid beat of his heart. She is drawn closer, their faces inches apart. She can feel his breath on her lips, and their foreheads touch, sending waves of pleasure through her.

The connection is electric. Jamie feels a surge of emotions and thoughts not entirely her own but shared through their touch. She is overwhelmed by a profound sense of intimacy and understanding, something she had never felt before. their connection becomes almost unbearable in its intensity. Spock's eyes burn into hers, and she feels his emotions as vividly as her own. The desire, the conflict, the raw need. It is as if their souls are entwined, each breath shared, each heartbeat synchronized. Spock's hands trace the outline of her face, his touch both gentle and electrifying. Jamie's fingers move over his, feeling the cool, smooth skin beneath. She leans into him, their lips finally meeting in a kiss that is both tender and fiercely passionate.

The world around them fades away, leaving only the sensation of their connection, the heat of their bodies, and the overwhelming sense of unity. It is more than a physical experience; it is a merging of minds and spirits, a dance of emotions that leaves Jamie breathless.

Jamie wakes suddenly, gasping for air. Her body is flushed, her mind racing. The dream lingers, vivid and real. She sits up, pressing a hand to her chest, feeling the rapid beat of her heart.

She looks around her quarters, disoriented but slowly grounding herself in reality. The dream's intensity leaves her shaken, the vivid memory of Spock's touch still tingling on her skin. With a sigh, she lies back down, staring at the ceiling. Sure this was not the first time in which she had dreamt about him, but since they had shared a Vulcan kiss the dreams had become realistic.

She had one the other night about them playing chess together - she wins - and the next thing she sees is the heat in Spock's eyes, the table, and the chess board sent flying, and then lips are on hers, and their hands wondering. The dream had ended when she had started to pull at his blue shirt in haste to get it off him.

She needed someone to talk to about this. Bones and Scotty were out of the question and there was no way she was talking to Spock about it when she could barely look him in the eye without feeling herself blush.

"I need to talk to you."

Perhaps she should not have started with that statement nor dragged Carol Marcus out of the med bay at the end of Carol's shift and into her ready room.

"Captain have I done something -"

Jamie wondered why Carol would think that and then realised that she hadn't explained herself. "No as in I need to talk to you, as in a friend I need to talk to you. You're not in any trouble."

"I'm a little perplexed Jamie, are you sure you do not want to speak with Doctor McCoy or Scotty or -Spo-"

"Nope, most definitely not any of them," Jamie said, she knew she must be looking like a deer in headlights so she took a calming breath. "You were the first that came to mind - I really could use a female friend to talk to about this."

"But we ... hardly know each other."

"I know but what I need to get out of my system is not something I can share with someone who has known me for years. That would be ... more awkward."

"Are we going to need alcohol for this conversation?"

"No, but it wouldn't hurt."

"I've been having dreams."

Jamie is in Carol's quarters because the three people Jamie did not want to know about what was going on could walk into hers. She needed to change her privacy settings now she thought about it.

"That's pretty normal."

"You don't understand. I've been having dreams - involving ... Spock."

"OH!" Carol said, "Intimate.."

"Very."

Carol let out a small giggle, "That's pretty normal too. Dreams can be powerful, especially if you have unresolved feelings or thoughts about someone. Have you and Spock had any... interactions that might have triggered these dreams?"

All Jamie can do is nod.

"I'm not sure why you're so surprised Jamie. How long have you been together now?"

Jamie felt bad, Spock would know because that was the type of being he was. He probably knew the calculation of how long they had been together down to the precise second. Jamie has to think about it. Their first date had been after her party which meant.

"Two almost three months - we've been ... taking it slow," Jamie explained, "Or at least slower than my past relationships ... or I suppose I should call them flings."

"Have you considered talking to Spock about it? He is your partner after all?"

Jamie shook her head, "felt too embarrassed around him. Vulcans are touch telepaths ... so I've been avoiding unnecessary physical contact."

"Oh, Jamie ..." Carol stifled a laugh.

"I know. I've got it pretty bad."

"I've got a story I could tell you about ... might make you feel better - let's go to the mess hall and grab food. I think we've drunk enough for the night." Carol suggested, "Because the only advice I've got for you you might not like."

"Other than talk to Spock."

"Way I see it, you can either sort it out ... by yourself ... or get Spock to help you -"

"I'm trying to respect boundaries and not repeat past mistakes. Or believe me, this wouldn't have been a conversation."

The mess hall buzzed with the usual clamor of Starfleet officers enjoying their meals and conversations. Jamie and Carol sat by the large observation windows, the stars streaking by as the ship sailed through the vast expanse of space.

Jamie feels better after Carol tells her an embarrassing story of her crush on a Starfleet professor. They are in fits of giggles and neither of them can now look at each other without laughing. Which is how Bones and Spock who causes her heart to skip a beat - find them.

"Mind if we join you, ladies?" Bones asked with his usual Southern drawl, not waiting for an answer as he slid into the seat beside Carol.

Spock, ever the picture of calm - Jamie wondered to herself what would he look like once he found out about her ... now was not the time - nodded courteously. "Jamie, Carol."

As Spock took his place beside Jamie, she could feel the heat of his presence. She glanced at him, catching his curious gaze, and quickly looked away, her face turning an even deeper shade of pink. Carol catches her eye and suggestively wiggles her eyebrows. Jamie kicks her under the table causing them both to start laughing again.

"When did you become buddy-buddies with my Head nurse?"

Jamie laughed at the irony of it all. She had asked herself the same question about Bones and Spock.

"Never you mind, never you mind."
