"Are you sure about that name?" Yoshi frowned in uncertainty, crossing his arms.
"I am sure." Tang Shen smiled, looking at her newborn baby with love as she held him close to her while lying in bed.
Yoshi smiled, seeing the scene in front of him warmed his heart, even with their current circumstances.
"Still… 'Dentarou' is quite surprising. Since when did you even consider this name?"
"Don't you remember that artist that I like?" Shen reminded her husband with a raised eyebrow.
"Donatello? Of course. It's one of your favorites." Yoshi answered as he sat on the bed, beside her.
"That's exactly why 'Dentarou' fits! Sounds similar to 'Donatello', and it has a beautiful meaning. Besides, I've heard that many people that carry that name tend to be very smart. Maybe it will make Dentarou intelligent even more than he's bound to be." Shen smirked as she fantasized about the great grades that her son might score in class.
"So you are basically naming him 'Donatello'? I'm still in favor of 'Akiyoshi'." Yoshi declared as he scratched his chin in thought. "It has a very good meaning as well, and it has 'Yoshi' in the name!" He said with a smirk, as he looked at his sleeping son in his wife's arms.
"I'm sorry, dear. But 'Dentarou' is final. I'm his mother and therefore I shall name him." Shen huffed in annoyance, as Yoshi chuckled.
"Fine, fine. You win."
Shen sighed with sadness as she looked at her son. "Dentarou is expecting a hard life ahead of him."
Yoshi's smile turned into a frown as he looked at the floor.
"Because of Saki?" He asked, knowing the answer.
"Because of everything, darling."
"We will let Saki know of him when the right time comes. Just, let's not tell him that he's related to him?" Yoshi said awkwardly with a smile, as Shen smiled back at him.
"Obviously. But I'm still worried." Her smile fell for a moment as she looked away.
"There's no need! Everything is under control. Besides, Dentarou, with his new name, is bound to be a genius. Isn't it? Have some faith." Yoshi kissed his wife's cheek, making her smile with a slight blush.
"Fine, fine." She sighed, but then her face turned serious.
"But do me a favor, Yoshi. If you teach him ninjutsu, make sure that his weapon will be the bo staff. At least until he's ready. I don't want him to hurt himself by accident." She demanded of her husband, who raised his hands in surrender. "Don't worry! I can do that. But what if he demands a 'cooler weapon'?" He chuckled.
"Just tell him that the Bo staff fits him more, or something. Like a chosen weapon. I won't allow anything else until he's ready." Shen scowled at her husband.
"I shall do as you ask, dear. Don't worry." Yoshi chuckled as he looked at his son. "Also," he added. "Why do you keep dressing him in purple?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I like purple. And it fits him." Shen huffed in response, talking as if it was obvious.
"Alright, then. I'll make sure to only get him purple clothes."
"Are you making fun of me, Yoshi?" Shen scolded her husband, as he flinched and smiled awkwardly.
"You can be very scary when you are angry, dear." Yoshi chuckled.
"You better not raise our son to be as annoying as you are." Shen warned, as her frown turned into a smile.
"He will have all of his life to learn how to be more like you, dear. Don't worry." Yoshi chuckled as he hugged his wife. "For now, let's focus on the present. We have all of the time in the world to plan how to raise him."
Shen smiled as she hugged him back, while holding their sleeping baby.
"Creating a family with you is the best thing that ever happened to me." Shen smiled in happiness.
"It is the same for me too, my dear." Yoshi smiled lovingly.
"However, with the current situation, things might get complicated. You better protect us if anything arises." Shen's smile fell as a worried frown replaced it.
"Don't worry, Shen. Nothing will ever happen to you. To us. We shall always be together, and everything will be fine." Yoshi hugged his wife tighter, looking at their son in worry. "I'll make sure our son will have the best life that he can have."

Splinter gasped with wide eyes, getting up from his bed in a hurry.
He still remembered this conversation vividly.
He dreamed about it often.
Splinter sighed as he left his room, going to the kitchen for a glass of water.
He was about to enter the kitchen, until he heard noises. As if someone was messing around in the kitchen.
He entered quietly, his ears standing in surprise as he spotted Donatello, taking apart the refrigerator.
"Donatello?" He questioned in confusion, making Donatello gasp and turn to him swiftly.
"Sensei!" He called out in surprise.
"Hush. Your brothers are asleep. What are you doing up so early?" Splinter questioned with a lifted eyebrow.
"Oh!" Donnie exclaimed in surprise, worried that he might be in trouble. "I woke up early. I wanted to drink some orange juice, but I noticed that the refrigerator wasn't in the right temperature, so I'm fixing it." Donnie rambled with an awkward chuckle.
Splinter hid the smile that almost appeared on his face.
"Please do it later, after you've rested." Splinter scolded with a frown, as Donnie slightly bowed.
"Sorry, Sensei. I will." He mumbled in awkwardness, sad that he was caught before he could finish.
"Just like your mother expected of you." Splinter sighed as he left the room, forgetting why he was there in the first place.
Donnie stood in the kitchen, his face going blank.
"My what?"
It was statements like this that made Donnie get suspicious. It wasn't the first time that Splinter said such things.
Donnie questioned Splinter many times, and many times tried to get answers about what his father might hide from him.
It always frustrated him.
He just didn't expect to regret knowing about what Splinter hid from him all of these years.
