Chapter 75 Kanae and Haru

Haru was driving down the streets on his bike as he was looking around for anything. He's been on the look out for Brune since her appearance can cause some trouble.

"I still haven't seen her anywhere." He said.

Then he saw Kanae waving on the side of the streets making him stop near her.

"Oh Kanae." He said.

"I came to see... If we can go out again?" She blushes.

He chuckles seeing her like that, it reminded him when she asked him out the first time.

"Hey no need to be like that, just hop on." He said.

She sits behind him and they went forward together.

Kanae was close and holds Haru, she never felt this feeling ever since they broke up, it was so good that she can't bare to let go again.

"I'm really sorry." She said.

He looks at her before stopping, he then holds her hand. "Hey, don't be like that, you had your faults, but one thing you never did is cheat on me."

"Of course not! I could never accept another guy!" She said.

Even when her friends tried to show other guys, she couldn't accept them and turned them down. As Haru was the only guy that loved her for who she is, not what she was trying to be.

"Which is why I could give you a chance, honestly if you did I would have never forgive you." Haru said.

"And I understand." She nodded.

She knew, she could never go on a date with someone that isn't the guy she loved, since that's the worst thing she could ever do to Haru.

"I could never betray you Haru, I lost you once, and i'm never letting you go ever again." Kanae said.

"Well that's good to hear." Haru said.

"But now, let's just enjoy our time together." He rides off again as she holds on.

They went up to a hill and looked at Vale and the lights coming out of it.

"Wow." She said.

"Yeah, not many know about this spot since Grimm were once close, until my barrier made it safe." Haru said.

Kanae smiles as the two sit on the edge together.

"You know, this reminds me of the time we were alone, at the beach." She said.

He smiles at what she said. "I remember that time, it's when you said you loved me."

He then frowns and sighs.

"What's wrong?" She said.

"Remebering those good times, hurts the break up even more." He said.

She gasped.

"I'm really sorry." She hugs him.

"Well, I did say it will take some time before I can trust you again." He said.

She understood, as she was really terrible and if Haru didn't take pitty on her she would never have been with him again.

She holds his hand. "Then i'll make sure to fix all of that. Because I never took your ring because we made a promise to get married after school."

"Well it was something I was waiting. But I forgot about it after that event." He said.

"I don't blame you, it was my fault." She looks down.

"I could have just made my friends accept you and not hide our relationship but all because you wore glasses and were a little nerdy."

"Well my eye sight got way better ever since then. But the style was because I wanted to become a hunter and I needed a outfit for that." He said.

"Some would have called you a cosplayer." Kanae said.

"Are we all cosplayers by those idiots?!" Haru frowns.

She chuckles at his reaction. "Well they're dumb not thinking hunters are cool. But I still want my dream?"

"Which was it? Since you tend to switch them." He said.

"Well I do that. But... It's for us to have a happy family." She smiles at him with a tear in her eye.

Haru stares at her. "Well I can't give a kiss like last time but..."

He kisses her cheek making Kanae blush. It made her so happy to have it from him again.

She then hugs Haru. "Thank you Haru! This is the best thing I could have ever asked."

Haru chuckles at her reaction, Kanae has been trying her best to make herself be better for him, she wants him to meet her parents later on when they have the time.

"We should meet my parents one of these days." She said.

"Later, I still have a few things to do at Beacon." Haru said.

"But please come, as I want to make things right." She said. "You can even wear your old clothes."

"Well that's nice of you but I got used to my new style." Haru said.

She understood as it was his choice and she didn't want to force him.

"But now let's head back." He got up.

"Oh, okay." She nodded.

The two went to the bike as he drives forward, she holds on to Haru as the two went down the road with the sun setting. As the orange light makes out a nice scene for them.

She smiles at the sunset since it was a moment she loves to see with Haru. It reminded her of the times where everything was so simple.

Haru can feel she's happy right now, and he can't help but smile. Maybe it was going to end well unlike last time as Kanae is putting the effort to change.

'I hope this feeling never ends between us.'

Kanae was thinking the same as she's not letting him go no matter what.
