"Why am I doing work again!" Neptune whined as she flailed her arms and legs.

"Because," Histoire voiced. "Lenna told me how you neglected your work yesterday to hang out with Noire, so today I'm going to keep my eyes on you."

The purple CPU complained, "But Nepgear isn't working!"

"She did your paperwork yesterday while you had your," Histoire made air quotes with her fingers, "date, so I gave her a day off and told her to go to Lastation to hang out with Uni."

Neptune pouted as she crossed her arms. "Why? She could've just stayed here."

"And have you begged her to come and finish your work? No, you're doing this yourself!"

"But I don't like to work!"

"Too bad, you are a goddess. You must work for the sake of your people," Histoire scolded.

Neptune grumbled as she stamped the documents, but she smiled when the work phone started to ring. It could be something that takes her away from her paperwork. She picked up the black phone and answered, "Hello, Neptune speaking!"

"Lady Neptune, this is Lenna and I would like to speak to Histoire."

"Oh, it's for you, Histy. Lenna wants to talk."

Histoire lowered herself as Neptune handed the wired phone to the tiny fairy. She cleared her throat and spoke, "Hello? This is Histoire."

"Miss Histoire, Lady Vert requires a meeting with you today," informed Lenna.

The fairy narrowed her eyes in confusion. "I don't remember having any meeting with her today…"

"She just called, asking for one right now at her Basilicom," Lenna said. "She says it's urgent."

"Right, right. Let her know I'll be over." Histoire ended the call and sighed. She looked over to Neptune to see her smiling. Her expression turned dull. "No, you're still working. And to make sure you staaaaay working, I'm asking Lenna to watch you."

Neptune's smile quickly turned to a frown. "Noooo!"

A knock was heard from the door and then a voice. "Lady Vert, Histoire has come as you asked."

The tall blonde by the desk looked to the door. "Bring her in, Chika."

The wooden door opened revealing the tall woman with a green ponytail and the small blonde fairy on a floating book.

"Vert, it's nice to see you," said Histoire as she hovered into the office.

"Yes, it's nice to see you too," Vert replied, then she turned to her oracle. "Chika, thank you for escorting Histoire. You may now be dismissed."

"Of course." Chika bowed and left the green CPU with Planeptune's oracle.

"Now, what is it that you wanted to show me?" Histoire asked.

"This." Vert waved her hand for Histoire to come up to her desk. Once the tome was near, Vert pulled up a video from her desktop. "Can you tell what that is in the Graveyard?"

Histoire's eyes widened as she gasped, "I-It can't be! She… I thought-"

"We defeated her? I thought the same, but then this proves otherwise," said Vert.

"Are you the only one that knows about this?"

The blonde shook her head. "No, Blanc also knows. She was the one that sent me this video. Her satellite picked it up. I thought it would be best to tell you first before we do anything."

"And you did not inform Neptune or Noire about this?" Histoire questioned.

"They seem to have a perfect life right now since the Console War and Rei Rygths fiasco, so I decided to leave them out unless this becomes urgent," Vert explained.

"Fair enough, then I'd like you and Blanc to take a closer look," said Histoire. "Don't engage in battle with her, but just analyze."

"Affirmative. I'll call Blanc and get her ready."

"Call me as soon as you get back."

Vert nodded. "Of course."

Histoire started at the screen with scared eyes. "We need to solve this before anything big happens. If it's what we feared, this long-lasting peace will be in peril."

Lastation, Gamindustri

Place: Basilicom

Date: March 17, 2020

Time: 4:07 P.M.

Noire waited at the front of the Basilicom with Uni, and Nepgear. Then they caught sight of three CPUs flying towards them. It was Lowee's goddess and candidates.

Rom and Ram landed down in front of them and disengaged their goddess mode while White Heart stayed the same. The twins ran to Nepgear and Uni as White Heart closed in on the Black CPU.

"Blanc, good to see you," Noire greeted. "Never thought you'd be personally asking me to watch over the twins."

"It's urgent and I'll be away for a while. The thoughts of leaving Rom and, especially, Ram alone in the Basilicom gave me a headache."

Noire chuckled, "I see. Interested in telling me where you're going?"

"Meeting in Leanbox about a game," she answered easily.

"A collaboration?"

"Uh, yeah. Something like that, so I'll be going." White Heart took off without any other explanation, leaving the Land of Black Regality.

Noire huffed, "Not even a thanks or goodbye. Rude as ever… oh well…" She turned to the younger CPUs and called out, "Alright you guys, let's go inside."

"Yay, I wanna play in Uni's room!" Ram yelled.

"M-Me too…" Rom agreed.

The twins ran into the Basilicom with Noire, Uni, and Nepgear following. They took the elevator up to the fifth floor and exited. Noire stopped Uni as everyone else continued down the hall.

"What's wrong, Noire?" Uni questioned.

"I have to return to work," Noire replied.

"Oh, sure. We can go back to work."

Noire shook her head. "Your job is to babysit the twins. I can finish the rest of the paperwork. Besides, I trust you, Uni. I believe you are the more responsible one out of the four candidates."

The young candidate blushed at the comment. She usually doesn't get compliments from her older sister that often. "W-Well, I guess I am pretty responsible."

Norie smiled. "Then I trust you to watch them, so I'll be going."

"Okay, sis! Bye!" Uni waved to Noire as she watched her sister enter back into the elevator.

Once her sister was gone, Uni turned to continue down the hallway toward her room. Her room was dark with many types of guns on display. She had a large window with black curtains and her floor was carpeted navy blue. She had a flat-screen television with four types of consoles hooked up to it. They were the Xbox, Wii, Sega Neptune and, her nation's most prideful, PlayStation 4."

The three candidates were already on her bed with a controller in their hands. They were playing with the Wii today.

"So what game are we doing?" Uni asked as she sat down next to Ram while taking the fourth player controller.

"Mario Kart!" Ram exclaimed. "I wanna be Bowser! Raaawr!"

"I-I'm gonna be Peach…" said Rom.

The four of them stayed in the room, racing each other. So far Uni won first place many times with Rom or Ram coming in either second or third. Nepgear was mostly fourth place because she gave up the win and Uni would complain.

"I don't need a pity win! I expect you to come at me with your best!" Uni claimed.

Nepgear only chuckled as she took the scolding from Uni. Rom and Ram sat on the side giggling at the scene, but everything halted when the whole room shook for a good minute.

"W-What was that?" Rom asked, frightened.

"I'm not sure… Lastation doesn't usually get quakes," answered Nepgear.

Uni peaked out the window to see some citizens looking around confused. "I don't think that quake was just an ordinary quake," Uni voiced. Somehow, she got a feeling that something dangerous was rising.

Suddenly, the door to Uni's room burst open, and a short silver-haired woman came in with panicked blue eyes. "Everyone okay?! No one's hurt?!"

"Yes, Kei. No one is hurt," Uni answered.

Kei let out a breath of relief. "I see, that's good. Your sister was worried and had me check up on you."

"Do you know what that quake was?" Nepgear asked.

"Unfortunately, no. But Noire is looking into it now."

Gamindustri Graveyard, Gamindustri

Place: Gamindustri Graveyard

Date: March 17, 2020

Time: 6:31 P.M.

White Heart and Green Heart soared through the sky until a large dark landmass appeared before them. An island separate from Gamindustri. The two CPUs landed on the dry crusted ground of the dying land and looked around. There were dark grey clouds with lightning flashing. No sunlight could be seen from the sky, and the ground was littered with metal debris.

"Looks like we're finally here," said the White CPU.

"This place is horrid," Green Heart observed.

"It's called a Graveyard for a reason," White Heart voiced.

"But still…"

"Come on, we need to find her," White Heart grumbled as she flew off.

Afraid to be struck by lightning, the two CPUs hovered low against the ground when flying. They scanned around the land seeing if anything were to catch their eyes, but so far nothing seemed out of the ordinary. While passing a large crater, Green Heart stopped White Heart. "Wait, look."

White Heart followed her line of sight to an all too familiar figure, even though it was only half of it. "So it is her…"

Green Heart nodded as her eyes never left the white and purple figure. A humanoid white rabbit with large purple wings was present in the crater with half of its body underground. The sorceress seems to be unconscious and unmoving.

"We need to tell Histoire. Arfoire is back."

"So it's as I feared… Thank you for confirming, Vert," Histoire said through the large phone in her hands. "We'll be having a meeting, so until then. I'll talk to you another time." Histoire ended the call and looked down at Neptune who was crying as her hands worked away on those documents. "Still not finished?"

"NEPGEAR!" Neptune cried out.

"Nepgear is out with her friends, you must finish this yourself," voiced Histoire. "To be a good goddess, you must do your duties. Just look at Noire. I would have thought dating Noire this long, you might have taken up some influences."

"But Noire likes to work. She's a workaholic! I'm not! Work is so boring!" whined the purple CPU.

"Are you sure you should be calling your lover a workaholic?"

"But it's true, and she'll forgive me."

Histoire sighed as she rubbed her forehead. "I'm just happy that you haven't fully influenced Nepgear with your lazy personality."

"It'll get to her soon!" Neptune claimed.

"Anyway, you have a meeting with Blanc and Vert next week in Lowee," Histoire announced. "Noire will be there too once I call her."

Neptune blinked. "A meeting? What's it about?"

"It's about Arfoire," the fairy answered.

"That old hag? I defeated her like two times already. Why are we having a meeting about her?"

"Because…" Histoire's eyes turned serious. "Arfoire is back…"

Neptune's eyes widened with disbelief as she yelled at the top of her lungs which made the whole Basilicom shake, "WHAAAAAAAT?!"

Gamindustri Graveyard, Gamindustri

Place: Graveyard Tower

Time: 11:23 P.M.

"Linda!"

The green-haired girl came jogging into the throne-like room and bowed down before the pink-haired girl. "Lady Magic, you have called?"

"How are the preparations?" Magic asked.

"Almost ready, all we need is a drop of blood from a goddess," Linda answered.

Magic let out a chuckle. "My queen… We are so close to freeing you… Linda!"

Linda flinched. "Y-Yes?!"

"Capture a CPU and bring her here," Magic commanded. "Bring Trick with you."

Linda raised an eyebrow in disgust. "Him? I have to bring him with me?"

"Yes, is that a problem?" Magic sternly questioned.

"N-No, ma'am! I'll bring Trick with me to capture a CPU!" Linda stood up and saluted as she left the room.

Magic looked out of one of the shattered windows as a bolt of lightning struck down. She laughed as her plans were slowly coming together.

"Are we really doing this to bring happiness to the people?"

Magic snapped her head to the corner of the room. "Brave. Stop hiding in the shadows and come forth."

A tall mecha robot-like being clad in various colors appeared from the shadows. His eyes glowed yellow as his lion-headed chest intimidated those before him. "I hope that what we are doing can give those people happiness."

"Why do you think we are born for? We are born from people's desires, their wishes, we are meant to bring happiness to them," said Magic. "There is no reason to doubt what we are doing."

"Yes, of course. The Arfoire Movement is the right way to go," said Brave.

"Now then," Magic turned her head to the opposite corner and glared with one free eye while the other was hidden behind an eyepatch. "Judge, why don't you come out as well."

From the other corner, a large black armored being walked out from the shadows to greet the other two in the room. His neon blue eyes could send chills down anyone's spine. "I thought I was being sneaky."

"Nothing gets past me, not even you Judge," voiced Magic.

"Aren't you supposed to be patrolling the Graveyard, since you're its guardian?" Brave asked.

"It's so boring out there. All I ever see are dark clouds filled with purple lightning and yellow gunk flowing through the ground. I want some action! I wanna fight! Fight me, Brave! I want to see who's the best out of us two!" Judge demanded.

"I will not fight my ally and friend," declined Brave.

"You're afraid!? Or do you think I can't take you?! How dare you think that!" Judge raged.

"I did not say or think of such a thing, Judge," said Brave.

"You were!" Judge summoned out his blue-bladed axe and growled. "Now, fight me!"

"QUIET!" Magic ordered.

Both Brave and Judge stiffened from the outburst. Judge grumbled and calmed down as he dematerialized his weapon.

"Judge, if you want some action in life… go follow Linda and Trick. Ensure their mission goes smoothly, and intervene if they need help. As for you, Brave, you shall guard the Graveyard in Judge's absence," Magic ordered.

"Yes, Magic!" Both Brave and Judge reply.

Author's Note

I feel like this chapter might have been a bit too fast paced for my liking. I guess I'm a little rusty, haha!

Anyway, thank you for reading! Even with the multiple scene jumps, I hope the chapter was still enjoyable!
