This is the life story of Peter Parker as the legendary hero Spider-Man. This will explore his destiny as a hero as he goes on the most difficult journey, he'll faces off against all sorts of danger and saving lives, he'll meet and team up with other heroes like himself in his long quest to becoming the greatest hero of all time.

92. IV: Stegron the Dinosaur Man

Volume IV: Stegron the Dinosaur Man

This will be the seventeenth chapter of Volume IV, Vincent Stegron has returned as he took the biggest step in his experiment by transforming himself into a human-dinosaur hybrid, he become the supervillain called the Dinosaur Man, but his ambition doesn't stop there as he plans to continue Sauron's vision by transforming the entire city of people into dinosaurs, he committed thefts, stealing everything he needs to make it happen, this will put him at odds against the Web-Warriors as they'll do everything in their power to stop him before it's too late. Meanwhile Dr. Connors is having problems of his own as the suppressants are working anymore, the Lizard DNA has grown stronger to the point the suppressants became ineffective as he's panicking on how to control his Lizard side. Around the same time, Anya's relationship with Sam is in trouble as she been keeping secrets and couldn't bring herself to be honest with him about what she doesn't in her spare time, she's also has a hard time keeping herself focused as Peter Parker steps in to help her work through it, he also give her advice on what she want to do about her secret, whether to be honest or not.

It's March 11th, time is 4:02 PM at Empire State University as Peter and Gwen are both working together doing their jobs as assistants of Dr. Curtis Connors, meanwhile in the office Dr. Connors himself is alone as he's feeling something happening to himself, so he injected the suppressant to keep the Lizard side in check, he could barely feel it working as he can still feel the changes happening to his right limb, it's starting to hurt but all of a sudden it stopped and the arm stayed normal for now, he's begin to think that the suppressants aren't working more effectively than they should've had, all a sudden some knocking occurred at his office door.

"Dr. Connors, are you alright?" Gwen calling.

"I'm fine Gwen, I'll be right out!" Dr. Connors said.

Dr. Connors got up from his chair and walks out of the office to find Peter and Gwen standing together looking all worried.

"Hey, sorry to make you worry, but I'm alright... promise." Dr. Connors said.

"Okay... well, we wanted you to know that order of mutagens you requested will be here tomorrow." Peter said.

"Thank you Peter." Dr. Connors said.

"Just doing our jobs as your assistants." Gwen said.

"I knew I made the right choice picking you both as my assistants, especially after my old assistant Stegron let me down in the worst way." Dr. Connors said.

"How could we forget about our Savage Land experience, the part where he started a stegosaurus stampede that almost killed us." Peter said.

"Or how bout that time he sold us out to save himself." Gwen said.

"Both, its cause of those experience I can't trust him anymore, but you two, you're the only ones outside my family who knows about my Lizard condition and never told anyone, you've proven I can trust you both, enough to make you my assistants, looks like my choice in you two is genuine." Dr. Connors said.

"Thanks Doc. You need anything else?" Peter said.

"No, I think you two done enough work as it is, you both can go now. I'll see both tomorrow in class." Dr. Connors said.

"Okay, see ya Doc." Peter said.

"Bye." Gwen wave.

Peter and Gwen are done for the day and left the lab together as Dr. Connors is finally alone now, he went over to pick up a needle as he needed to draw out a sample of his own blood for study, he then placed a drop onto slide and puts it under a microscope, he takes a peek at his own blood to see the Lizard DNA has mutated once more, afterwards he inject a sample of the suppressant onto the blood sample for a test, he take a peek again only to find out that the suppressants are barely working anymore, his Lizard DNA has grown too strong to the point nothing will keep it at bay, he fears for his life more than ever, he'll soon mutate into the Lizard again and this time there's no stopping it.

Meanwhile Peter and Gwen are walking around campus heading towards the parking lot where Peter's Sportster is parked, but Gwen can't shake this feeling something is going on with Dr. Connors as Peter noticed the silence around the air.

"Something on you mind?" Peter asking.

"Have you noticing something strange about Dr. Connors." Gwen said.

"What do you mean? He told us he's fine." Peter said.

"You know that fine means feeling insecure neurotic and emotional." Gwen smile.

Peter smile. "Been a while since I said that phase. But I'm sure Doc is okay, if it's something serious he would've told us already."

"Yeah, I guess you're right... anyway, I heard our MJ made it to Chicago for the spring collection photoshoot." Gwen said.

"Wow, she sure does a lot of modeling gigs, doing a lot of traveling in these past months, getting to see a lot of places, she's been keeping herself busy." Peter said.

"So should we, now that we've got the whole apartment to ourselves." Gwen flirts seductively.

"Mmm, I love it when you talk naughty." Peter said.

Peter and Gwen leaned in closer and kiss each.

"Shall we?" Peter flirted.

"Let's go." Gwen smile.

Peter and Gwen both hopped onto the motorcycle and drove away, heading on home for some alone time for their private moment together.

Time is 6:32 PM at a rented warehouse in the Bronx, the place is made into a makeshift laboratory packed with certain equipment needed to conduct research in secret, a book written by Karl Lykos containing his old research in splicing dinosaur DNA with a human, the computer next to it is ruining simulations on the experiment as it's showing promising results, meanwhile at the table is Dr. Connor's former assistant Vincent Stegron who has been conducting his own experiments since that incident in the Savage Land, he's creating a formula mapped with the stegosaurus DNA he acquired months ago.

"Finally it's finished, took me months to set up this lap, using the research written by Karl Lykos, plus everything Dr. Connors has taught me about cross species, I've perfected the formula, too bad that fool Connors didn't see the values of my talents, but soon everyone will. Now to move on to human trials and what better guinea pig than myself, with this I shall become the next step in human evolution, I will be the perfect meld of human and dinosaur, the first of my kind..." Vincent Stegron said.

Vincent Stegron loaded the formula into the syringe as he has his right arm out with the syringe in his left hand.

"... and it starts... now!" Vincent Stegron said.

Vincent Stegron injected the syringe into his bloodstream, the formula is flowing throughout his entire body, affecting his very DNA and combining it with that of a stegosaurus, Vincent Stegron is feeling the effect and it's very painful to him, he screams as he can feel the changes throughout his body, he's starting to grow in size as its ripping apart his clothes, plates are forming from his back, he's even growing a tale, his skin is being switched into scales, his jaws are forming up, he's turning himself into something more than human, his new tail swings around destroying some equipment including a lamp as the whole room went dark, a silhouette shows something not human.

Stegron chuckles. "Finally... this is only the beginning..."

Later around 8:34 PM at a local movie theater in Brooklyn, an action-romance movie is being played starring Simon Williams and Nadia Dornova, a lot of people are watching and among the audience are Tiana, Miles, Sam, and Anya are sitting together in a specific role eating popcorn, Miles and Tiana are sharing a drink, Anya and Sam are getting comfortable sitting together since their first kiss last month, though Miles and Sam seemed confused by this whole scene they're watching.

"Really?" Miles whisper.

"What's wrong?" Tiana whisper.

"I thought this was suppose to be an action-romance movie, so far I only seen more romance than action." Miles said.

"I know, right?" Sam agrees.

The audience shushed them for speaking during the movie as they got back to silence and watching the movie, but they're still itching for gossip.

"I don't get the whole movie, what they're trying to say." Sam whispers.

"It's suppose to be like this, every part of the story builds up to something greater at the end." Anya whispers.

"Huh, I didn't know you were into romance movies?" Sam whispers.

"I'm not, I just watch these Spanish soap operas on TV called telenovelas, it's got a lot of romance in them among other things." Anya whispers.

"Oh yeah, my mom watches them too." Miles whispers.

"Can we just be quiet and keep on watching, shall we?" Tiana whispers.

Miles and Tiana grabbed popcorn from their bucket and Sam and Anya did the same with theirs, they're continuing watching the movie in silence until this is starting to get to them.

Sam sighs. "I am really not getting this movie at all."

"Me neither, guess I should just go and ask for a refund." Miles smiles.

Miles and Sam smirked and laughed which is disturbing the audience as they're all shushing, one of them say "For God Sake, stop talking!"

Miles turns to the audience. "Sorry!"

Miles and Sam stopped talking and got back to watching the movie with their dates, but all of a sudden Miles and Anya's phones are ringing causing another disturbance again, making the audience complain and saying "AH!" "Seriously, turn off your phones!".

"Listen, I gotta take this, sorry." Miles said.

"Yeah, me too, excuse me." Anya said.

Miles and Anya are getting up and walking out of the row, leaving Tiana and Sam behind to watch the movie, the two left the room as they're in the hallway alone, they answered their phones as their call is from Ganke Lee.

"Hey Ganke, what's up!" Miles said.

"Miles, Anya, sorry to interrupt movie night, but there's trouble in the neighborhood, Hydro-Man's back, he's in Downtown robbing banks, better get going." Ganke Lee said.

"We're on our way." Miles hangs up, he then sighs. "So much for movie night."

"I know, how are we gonna explain this to them?" Anya said.

"We'll worry about that later, but first we got a supervillain to catch." Miles said.

"Yeah, let's go." Anya said.

Miles and Anya are leaving the theater together to head on out to confront the supervillain.

Later around 8:58 PM in Downtown Brooklyn, a number of banks has already been hit and robbed, but one of them is still being robbed as the NYPD has the place surrounded, coming out of the bank is the supervillain Hydro-Man with multiple duffel bags full of money from his other heists as the officers raised their guns at him, Hydro-Man made a stop upon the NYPD blocking his way out.

"Freeze!"

"Seriously? Don't you know who I am?" Hydro-Man said.

"Drop the bags and get down on the ground!"

"Ah... no!" Hydro-Man smiles.

Hydro-Man then proceed to walk up as the cops screams "OPEN FIRE!" and all started shooting at the supervillain as the bullets only went right through his watery body as he doesn't even feel any pain while he's in his state, the cops all ran out of bullets and stopped firing to find the supervillain still standing as he drops the bags.

Hydro-Man chuckles. "That tickles, my turn."

Hydro-Man then unleashed a stream of water upon the squad car with so much force, knocking it over as the cops are running away, but Hydro-Man uses his hydrokinesis to summons water from the sewers as it bursted up in the air stopping them in their tracks as they got nowhere else to run. Hydro-Man forms up a drill from his water arm about to use it on the cops, but coming in swinging for a drop kick is Spider-Girl, she kicked right through the villain, splashing him into water and drops down to the ground in a three point stance as Kid Arachnid landed next to her, they turn around to find bits of Hydro-Man on the ground.

"Huh? That was easy, looks like our job is done." Spider-Girl being overconfident.

Kid Arachnid sighs. "Think again."

Spider-Girl looks back to see the water forming up together in a form of Hydro-Man which caught her by surprise, Kid Arachnid isn't too surprised at all.

Hydro-Man is back together. "So you must be the new spider hero? Guessing you haven't heard of me?"

"Let me guess, the Hydrant-Man, the dogs must love you." Spider-Girl make fun.

"It's Hydro-Man! *sighs* That joke never gets old." Hydro-Man said.

"Well whatever, you just happened to ruin my night." Spider-Girl said.

"Why? Were you on a date or something? Like I care some Spider-Brat is dating some punk!" Hydro-Man said.

"What'd you say? Take it back!" Spider-Girl felt insulted.

"You want me to take it back, come and make me!" Hydro-Man dares.

"Fine by me." Spider-Girl make a move.

"Spider-Girl, don't!" Kid Arachnid tries to stop her.

Spider-Girl rushed in for a punch to the gut but her fist got caught inside and she's trapped, she looks at Hydro-Man who is enlarging his fist with water, he strikes back hard at Spider-Girl and sent her crashing against a squad car, she too hurt to get back up as Hydro-Man turns back to face Kid Arachnid only to find out that he's disappeared, he looks around to find the missing hero.

"What the? Where the hell are you?" Hydro-Man getting nervous.

All of a sudden he got zapped up with much voltage as he went down into a puddle of water, showing himself is Kid Arachnid being de-cloaked.

"I'm right here and you just got zapped." Kid Arachnid said.

Kid Arachnid went over to check on Spider-Girl all hurt on the squad car thanks to that punch, he helps her out as he's too busy to noticed Hydro-Man is forming himself back to normal for a surprise attack, only for him to be surprised this time by a unknown type of webbing freezing him up upon contact.

"Oh no, not again!" Hydro-Man yells as he's being frozen into solid ice.

Kid Arachnid and Spider-Girl are surprised to find Hydro-Man all frozen in ice, they spotted their teammates Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider here and they're the ones who froze up by a different type of webbing never seen before.

"Sorry we're late, looks like we're just in time." Spider-Man said.

"Thanks for the save, what was that you just did?" Kid Arachnid is curious.

"It my newest batch of webbing, I tinkered with the formula, mixed it with liquid nitrogen, I call it ice webbing." Spider-Man explained.

"Oh, very ice." Kid Arachnid said.

"Thanks, that's a good one." Spider-Man said.

Spider-Girl is feeling a bit hurt by the impact she suffered during the fight.

"You okay?" Ghost-Spider said.

"Yeah, this is nothing." Spider-Girl shrugged it off.

"It wasn't nothing, he taunted you and you lost your cool, you could've gotten yourself killed." Kid Arachnid said.

"But I didn't, I'm still alive aren't I?" Spider-Girl said.

"This time, this is serious, you can't just let your judgment be compromised in the middle of a fight, otherwise it'll get you killed." Spider-Man said.

Spider-Girl sighs. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to make you guys worry."

Spider-Man sighs. "I guess you're still new to this business, you still got a lot to learn, tell you what, meet me at the Brooklyn Bridge Park tomorrow morning at 6." Spider-Man said.

"For what?" Spider-Girl said.

"Trust me, I got something that might help you improve your focus, I'm gonna teach you something new, something cool." Spider-Man said.

Spider-Girl sighs. "Okay, I guess I could learn something new, though I'm gonna have to figure out how to explain ditching Sam back at the theater."

"Oh dang! I ditched Tiana too! Oh man, I'm in trouble!" Kid Arachnid panicked.

"Why don't you guys go, we'll wait here for S.H.I.E.L.D. to take this ice sculpture to the Raft, for real this time." Spider-Man said.

"Thanks." Kid Arachnid said.

"Take it easy." Ghost-Spider said.

"Will do, I'll see you in the morning Spidey." Spider-Girl said.

"Take care." Spider-Man said.

Spider-Girl and Kid Arachnid both swing away from the heading back to see their dates while think about what their excuse for ditching them, meanwhile Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider are staying behind with a frozen Hydro-Man to be taken by S.H.I.E.L.D..

"Well, looks like this matter is all settled, or should I say all frozen up." Spider-Man said.

"Hopefully there won't be another supervillain to worry about." Ghost-Spider said.

Time is 11:02 PM in Upstate New York at Power Broker Inc., the place is closed for the night as security is staying around guarding the place 24/7 straight armed with automatic weapons, unknown to anyone hiding in the forest nearby is a shadowy figure that didn't look very human, he quietly make his move towards the fence where a sign says "WARNING: HIGH VOLTAGE FENCE", this creature uses his hand to get a hold of the fence as electricity is zapping him, he ignores it and just ripped the fence apart with his bare hands, he got past the perimeter and makes his way around.

A guard is patrolling around the power generator as he heard a big footstep, he turns around only to be frightened at the sight of something so monstrous, he was about to scream but a scaly hand got a hold of his head and pulls him away before he could utter a word, this creature then make a move on the generator itself, he uses his spiky tail to slam the generator with all his strength and wrecked it, all the power around Power Broker Inc. are turning off instantly along with the lights and camera, the whole security has gone blind.

The creature then makes his way to the R&D complex where the security inside are still blind in the dark, they then switched to using their flashlights attached to their guns to see around the place, they're wondering who or what caused the blackout, but all of a sudden without warning a loud pound came from the bay door, the security all move towards the Bay Area, the pounding continues as they all aimed their guns waiting to take the shot at whatever is causing the pounding, a tear form up from the bay door as a scaly hand rips the tear apart and something forced its way inside.

"Open fire!"

Everyone started firing their weapons upon the creature but their bullets are having no effect as his skin is extremely durable and bulletproof, this creature screams as he make his move and attacks the security personal, he swings his taihel around and took out several of them, he then uses his claws to attack a couple of them, one guy was scared as he drops his weapon and tries to make a run for it but he was caught and gazed upon what appears to be a dinosaur but humanoid.

"Where isss the centrifuge?" Dinosaur Man speaks.

The guy points it out for the Dinosaur Man to spot, he sees the newest state-of-the-art industrial centrifuge.

Dinosaur Man hold up the guy. "Thank you."

Dinosaur Man toss the guy across the room as he crashed against some equipment, but he's still alive but unconscious, but the rest of the security personal aren't so lucky, the Dinosaur Man then makes his way towards the centrifuge bolted down to the concrete, he got a hold of it and uses his enormous strength to rip it off the ground, he carries it on his shoulder and makes his escape from Power Broker Inc., he's in need of transportation as he spotted one of the trucks but he can't drive a vehicle the way he is now, he hear someone, an employee who stayed behind all frightened hiding, Dinosaur Man walks up to the guy all scared by his appearance.

"Do you know how to drive a truck?" Dinosaur Man said.

The employee nodded his head as he can drive, later Dinosaur Man climbs onto the back of the box truck and tells the employee to drive, the box truck is driving away from Power Broker Inc. and drove onto the road.

"Wh... where to?"

"New York, ssstill have ssso much work to do." Dinosaur Man said.

The box truck is driving on the road heading towards New York City as Dinosaur Man isn't done yet, he just getting started as there are somethings he needs for his big plan.

It's March 12th, time is 6:30 AM in the morning at Brooklyn Bridge Park as Peter is here with Anya teaching her Tai Chi to help her obtain inner peace with herself, Peter is wearing his white t shirt and blue jeans as Anya is in her pink tank top and blue jeans, Peter is doing some exercises in a mediative way as Anya is following his lead and doing the same as best as she can, though she's not getting the hang of it.

Anya sighs. "Okay, I don't get the point of this whole Tai Chi thing?"

"This is to help you find inner peace, Anya, take care of yourself on a physical and spiritual level." Peter still doing Tai Chi.

"Where'd you learn it? Hong Kong?" Anya said.

"No, I learned it last year from Cap, I didn't get it either at first, but its surprising effective, just try Anya." Peter said.

Anya went back to following Peter's lead in Tai Chi to find inner peace as best she can.

Peter takes a deep breath. "Anything?"

Anya sighs. "Still nothing, I'm just thinking about yesterday, Hydro-Man getting the best of me, having to explain to Sam about my sudden leave, its too much."

Peter sighs. "Look Anya, nobody said being a hero is ever easy, being in this life can be hard, on both a professional and personal level."

"I know, can't believe I let Hydro-Man get to me." Anya said.

"That why we're here, you got learn to stay in control of yourself, finding calm in the storm, if you don't, it won't be just you who get hurt, it could be the person next to you... okay, I think we're done for the day, same time tomorrow?" Peter said.

"Sure, I gotta get ready, our class has a field trip at the Museum of Natural History." Anya walks out of the park.

"Huh, must be fun *yawns* I could use some coffee, this neighborhood got a decent coffee place?" Peter said.

"As a matter in fact it does, it's called Foam Party." Anya got onto her Vespa.

"Foam Party, huh?" Peter got onto his Sportster as he's putting on his jacket..

"It's great, they even got a long line that stretches outside, come on we should get going and get a spot while we still can." Anya puts on her helmet.

Peter got his helmet on. "Lead the way."

Peter ignite the engine in his Sportster as Anya did the same with her Vespa, Anya drove her Vespa away from the park as Peter followed in his Sportster to get a drink at the Foam Party.

Time is 7:25 AM at the Connors Residence, Martha Connors is making pancakes for her son Billy who is all dressed up for school sitting at the table, meanwhile upstairs in the bathroom is Curt Connors as he's having that moment of change again, his right limb is forming up as he uses the suppressant to keep the Lizard at bay again, he only hopes it'll hold up despite knowing it's lack of effectiveness in his state, the suppressant is barely doing anything as Connors is in pain trying so hard to stay in control of himself, eventually the pain stops and the changes stopped too, Dr. Connors is relieved that he was able to keep the Lizard at bay, but this is only temporary, he tries to calm himself down for his family.

"Curt! Breakfast is ready!" Martha Connors calling from the kitchen.

Dr. Connors is finally calm as he doesn't want his family to worry about his condition and what's about to happen to his very soon, so he just left the bathroom and walk down the stairs to see his family having breakfast together in peace without knowing, he just puts on a smile to hid his worries from his family as he sits down and his wife pours in coffee into the mug as Martha noticed something is going on with her husband.

"Everything alright, dear?" Martha Connors concerned.

"Yeah, I'm okay Martha, really." Dr. Connors drinks the coffee.

Billy is eating pancakes until he heard a horn honking outside coming from a school bus.

"Bus is here, Billy, time to go." Martha Connors said.

"Okay, bye daddy." Billy said.

"Bye Billy." Dr. Connors said as his son is leaving for school.

Billy had already left the house and got onto the school bus as Dr. Connors and his wife are all alone now to talk without their son listening in, Martha sits down to have a serious talk with her husband.

Martha Connors sighs calmly. "Curt... I've known you long enough to know that you're hiding something, please talk to me."

Dr. Connors sighs. "Okay... it's about the Lizard, the suppressants I've been using aren't working anymore, it's only a matter of time until he comes out without warning and this time there's no stopping it."

"My god... Curt, why have you been keeping this from me?" Martha Connors is more worried.

"Cause I though I could handle this alone, but I was wrong... Martha, I need you to take Billy and stay with your sister for a while." Dr. Connors said.

"No, I won't abandon you Curt, we're in this together." Martha Connors refused.

"Martha, I'm a danger to you and Billy, what happens if the Lizard comes out and ends up hurting you both, I can't bear the thought of something happening to you both because of me... please, for our son." Dr. Connors pleads with his wife.

Martha sighs in reluctance. "Okay, I'll pick up Billy after school and we'll head upstate to my sister's."

Dr. Connors sighs in comfort. "Thank you."

Martha tears up. "Oh Curt..."

Martha and Curt ends up hugging together as they're both scared for what's about to happen very soon, Dr. Connors is now short on time as his life is about to over cause of the Lizard, but he'll try to find a way to put a stop to it before someone ends up getting hurt cause of the Lizard.

Later is 11:34 AM at Upper West Side near Central Park, at the Museum of Natural History, the whole sophomore class from Brooklyn Visions Academy are touring around the Fossil Halls of the museum being toured by paleontologist Dr. Jessica Lopez, everyone looks at various dinosaur fossils such as Triceratops, Barosaurus, Stegosaurus, and Tyrannosaurus Rex, the latter caught Sam's attention as he's with Anya, Tiana, Miles, Ganke, and Danika.

"And here we have the Tyrannosaurus Rex, the King of Dinosaurs, and for good reason, Rex is the latin word for King." Jessica Lopez giving the tour.

"So this must be Rexy." Sam smiles.

"Rexy? Like from Jurassic Park?" Miles said.

"No, I meant from that movie 'Night at the Museum', after all this is the museum from the movie, isn't it?" Sam said.

"Yeah, we've all seen that movie too." Ganke Lee said.

"And yes, this is that museum too, except for no magic that makes everything come to life at night." Jessica Lopez smiled.

Everyone giggled at that remark as the tour continues onward, unknown to anyone a strange figure came in from the entrance all bulky in a coat and hat with a scarf covering his face as a museum guard noticed this shady figure coming in hiding his features.

"Hey you, you can't be wearing that in here, take it off right now!"

The guard came in closer but was caught off guard as a this guy turns around and got a hold of him using his scaly hands, it's the Dinosaur Man in disguise as he ditched it and shows himself to the guard, making him all nervous as Dinosaur Man picks him up and holds him up in the air.

"Now, where'sss your paleontology department?" Dinosaur Man being intimidating.

Meanwhile inside the Fossil Halls, Jessica Lopez continues giving the tour to the sophomore class showing them the fossils, meanwhile Anya is worried about her relationship with Sam after she ditched him yesterday as the two have barely spoken a word as Sam sensed Anya has something on to say.

"Something on your mind?" Sam asking.

"Are we good? I mean about yesterday?" Anya said.

"Yeah, I mean it's not the first time you seem to leave unexpectedly, I'm pretty much used to it." Sam said.

"Well, hopefully it'll be just the two of us enjoying our time in the museum without any unexpected surprises." Anya said.

All of a sudden everyone heard heavy footsteps around the museum and caught everyone's attention as the tour stops, everyone turns around to see what appears to be a humanoid stegosaurus walking around as he roared out loud, its the Dinosaur Man.

"What the..." Sam is terrified.

Anya sighs. "So much for unexpected surprises."

Neither Miles or Anya can do anything as there's too many eyes here, all they can do is wait for the right opportunity to disappear from the crowd, Dinosaur Man walks up to the tour group. "Get out!"

Dinosaur Man roars out to scare the crowd into running away from the museum as they all complied and ran out of the Fossil Halls and out of the museum, except for Jessica Lopez whom Dinosaur Man grabbed before she ran out, he drags her by force into the paleontology department as he's got use for her, as for the others once outside Miles and Anya took the opportunity to separate themselves from the crowd and disappear with their backpacks packed with their suits inside, Sam is with Ganke, Danika, and Tiana as he noticed that Anya has disappeared along with Miles, he's getting worried they might still be back inside the museum, Ganke walked away for some privacy to call a couple of friends and informing them of the situation.

Meanwhile inside the museum itself, Dr. Isaac Lopez is working in the lab on carefully extracting samples from a mosquito inside amber, Dinosaur Man forced his way into the paleontology department and caught the doctor by surprise by some kind of humanoid dinosaur creature, but what caught his attention is his wife Jessica in the hands of this monster.

"Jessica..." Isaac Lopez is terrified for his wife.

"Dr. Lopez, we finally meet." Dinosaur Man said.

"Who are you? What do you want?" Isaac Lopez said.

"I want the dinosaur DNA your team was able to extract." Dinosaur Man demanded.

"How do you know about that?" Isaac Lopez said.

"Ssstop ssstalling, hand it over?" Dinosaur Man said.

"I can't do that, those DNA samples are extremely rare, very hard to acquire." Isaac Lopez refuses.

Dinosaur Man holds Jessica Lopez by the neck and threatens her by slowly crushing her neck with his strength till it snaps, Jessica is having a hard time breathing.

"No, please stop! We have a son!" Isaac Lopez pleading.

"What'sss more important? The DNA or your ssson'sss mother? Choose quickly or your kid will lose a mother!" Dinosaur Man said.

Dinosaur Man is slowly crushing her neck and she's being choked at the same time as she's near death.

"No, stop! Okay, okay! I'll do it, I'll give you the DNA, just please let her go!" Isaac Lopez gave in.

Dinosaur Man lets go of Jessica Lopez as she drops down to the floor and coughs as she needs air, Isaac rushed over to his wife and felt relived that she's alive after coming close to losing her.

"The DNA... now!" Dinosaur Man demanded.

Isaac Lopez has no choice but to comply for his wife's safety, he gets up and walks over to the steal vault that doubles as cold storage unit, he inputs his access code on the keypad and it instantly unlocks, Dr. Lopez opens up the vault where the case contains various dinosaur DNA.

"There it is." Isaac Lopez said.

"Get it and bring it to me!" Dinosaur Man said.

Dinosaur Man couldn't risk exposing himself to cold temperature as he's warm blooded now, Dr. Lopez went in and took the case out of the vault, he came out and hands it over to Dinosaur Man, the creature opens up the case to see various DNA samples all labelled, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Pteranodon, Brachiosaurus, Velociraptor, and many more all together in the case.

"What are you going to do with them?" Isaac Lopez is curious.

"Not to worry Doctor, you'll find out, soon everyone will... thank you." Dinosaur Man said.

Dinosaur Man closes the case shut and takes it with him as he exits the paleontology department and made his way through the Fossil Halls as he looks at various fossils.

"Soon the once extinct species shall rise again and take back their rightful place on this planet." Dinosaur Man said.

Dinosaur Man is still walking with the case until a couple of Web-Warriors came in swinging into the Fossil Halls and lands in front of him, he stops as Spider-Girl and Kid Arachnid are blocking his way out, the heroes are comforting this Dinosaur Man.

"Leaving so soon?" Kid Arachnid said.

"I am, I'm very busy and I have ssso much to do, ssso ssstep aside." Dinosaur Man said.

"No way Barney, now put down that case." Kid Arachnid said.

"I can't do that, I've went through ssso much trouble to get thisss, I won't let you or anyone else ssstand in my way!" Dinosaur Man said.

"Well, I guesssss we'll have to ssstop you." Kid Arachnid mocks.

Dinosaur Man has no choice but to take on the heroes, he charges in as they've both jumped and split up, Spider-Girl is swinging around as she's firing off volleys of webbing to keep him busy while Kid Arachnid has disappeared and is roaming around undetected, Dinosaur Man uses his arm to block the incoming webbing, he got tired of playing defense as he decides to switch to offense by picking up a trash bin and tossed it in the air at her, Spider-Girl dropped down and dodged the bin, she's now on the ground as Dinosaur Man is coming in swinging his spiky tail, Spider-Girl does the backflips and dodged it in time, Dinosaur Man growls as he missed but he noticed something is off.

"Wait, where isss the other one?" Dinosaur Man said.

A cloaked Kid Arachnid managed to get close enough in front of Dinosaur Man and made contact as he unleashed his venom blast to zap, Dinosaur Man can barely feel the electricity as this caught Kid Arachnid by surprise, Dinosaur Man got a hold of the cloaked hero and tossed him hard at a nearby fossil, breaking it apart, Spider-Girl rushed to his side to help her friend. Unknown to anyone here, Sam Alexander snuck back in to find Anya who went missing, only to find the heroes being bested by this dinosaur guy.

"Are you okay?" Spider-Girl helping him up.

Kid Arachnid shakes off the pain. "Yeah, my zap didn't work."

"So what do we do?" Spider-Girl said.

"Nothing, none of you are a match for me, ssso just give up and let me passss!" Dinosaur Man said.

"Never, we'll find a way to take you down!" Spider-Girl said.

"How persistent SSSpider-Girl, can't tell if you're just brave or ssstupid!" Dinosaur Man said.

"You asked for it!" Spider-Girl felt taunted as she rush into battle.

"Spider-Girl, don't!" Kid Arachnid tries to stop her and failed.

Spider-Girl rushed as Dinosaur Man swings his tail, she slide down and went below him until she arrived behind him, she webbed up both his legs and yanks, tripping him down to the ground, Sam Alexander is hiding closely nearby as Spider-Girl is webbing down the Dinosaur Man for good measure, she then spotted Sam on her right and surprised him, Sam is surprise to have a superhero right before his eyes as he's unaware it's Anya, meanwhile Dinosaur Man is attempting to break free while Spider-Girl is too distracted to notice.

"You? What are you doing here?" Spider-Girl said.

"Sorry, I'm just looking for my friend, Anya, we got separated, I thought she might be around here somewhere." Sam said.

"That's very sweet of you, but you can't be here, it's too dangerous, you have to go." Spider-Girl said.

"I can't leave Anya behind, I have to find her!" Sam refused to leave.

"I'll find her, but you have to go now!" Spider-Girl said.

Dinosaur Man gathered enough strength to break out of the webs with everything he's got, Spider-Girl's sense tingles as Dinosaur Man picked up a broken fossil and tossed it at both Spider-Girl and Sam together, she pushed aside as she took the impact from the fossil and went down hurt, Kid Arachnid could see that his friend is in danger once more, Dinosaur Man approached her all hurt.

"On sssecond though, you're just ssstupid, and your ssstupidity will be the end of you." Dinosaur Man said.

Dinosaur Man has his spiky tail out as he's about to use it to kill Spider-Girl, but Kid Arachnid quickly webs him up and holds him in place, Dinosaur Man uses his strength to pull the web line in along with Kid Arachnid as he uses his tail to strike back at Kid Arachnid and managed to pierce him in the right abdomen, he sent the hero flying and crashed him against another fossil, Dinosaur Man wants to finish this but he hears police sirens coming from a distance as this could complicate things. Dinosaur Man picked up the case and makes his escape before the cops show up, Spider-Girl quickly rushed over to her friend's side to check on Kid Arachnid's condition.

"Hey, are you alright?" Spider-Girl said.

Spider-Girl turns him over to find out that he's seriously wounded and bleeding.

"Oh my god, you're hurt!" Spider-Girl is panicking.

The cops are closing in as she can't leave him here, she quickly webs up the wound and closes it, stopping the bleeding, she picked up Kid Arachnid and carried him around her shoulder, she took one last look at Sam looking all confused by everything, Spider-Girl couldn't afford to stay while her friend is seriously hurt, she swings away from the scene leaving Sam more confused than ever.

Time is 12:01 PM at the warehouse in the Bronx, the Dinosaur Man just returned back to his makeshift lab where the industrial centrifuge he stole last night is placed, he came back with the case of dinosaur DNA samples he got from the museum.

"That wasss ssso close." Dinosaur Man said.

He opens up the case to see all the samples are intact and accounted for, he was relieved due to the trouble encountered recently, but he was successful nevertheless.

"Perfect, now all I need is to get my handsss on some mutagensss, and it ssso happensss I know where to get sssome. Time to pay a visit to my old mentor." Dinosaur Man said.

Dinosaur Man then chuckles has he got a next target in mind for the mutagens, it's a place he knows all too well.

It's 12:15 PM at the Spider-Cave as the supercomputer is on playing the news about the attack on the local museum, Miles Morales is being treated by Anya as she applies rubbing alcohol onto the cotton, she then gently rubs it on the wound on Miles's abdomen, it touched as he felt the sting and it's painful.

"Ow!" Miles whines in pain.

"Quit whining, you big baby." Anya said.

Miles is taking the sting as much as he can until she finished disinfecting the wound, afterwards Anya takes a bandage and starts wrapping Miles up as Peter and Gwen came in their suits after their day at the museum investigating the incident.

"Hey, how're you feeling?" Peter said.

"Like I got my butt whooped by Godzilla." Miles said.

"Though this is nothing compared to how we're going to explain ditching the field trip class, I'm sure everyone's gotta be worried." Anya said.

"I'm sure you'll both come up with some excuse, in the meantime, we've got this from the museum's security server." Peter holds up a thumb drive.

Peter plugs in the drive and plays the footages of museum's security, everyone got to see this Dinosaur Man intimidating and causing chaos.

"There's the Mini Godzilla I was talking about." Miles said.

"We never seen anything like this." Anya said.

"I have." Peter said.

"And so have I." Gwen said.

"You did? Where?" Anya said.

"In the Savage Land." Peter said.

"You mean that land with all the living dinosaurs you've told us about once." Anya said.

"Yeah, we've came across someone like that, a scientist name Karl Lykos, he calls himself Sauron, he's half man and half dinosaur, he's basically a humanoid Pteranodon who has the intelligence of a human being who can fly." Peter said.

"I see, what about this dino guy we've face? What type is he? Spinosaurus?" Miles said.

"No, Stegosaurus, they have plates on their backs and have a spiky tail." Peter said.

"Right, already received the end of that tail." Miles all bandaged up.

"Okay, now that we know what we're dealing with, doesn't explain why he bursted into a museum." Anya said.

"I think we can answer that." Gwen said.

Gwen got on the keyboard and types in some names and shows them ID pictures of Jessica and Isaac Lopez on the supercomputer.

"We know her, she was giving our class the tour." Anya said.

"Dr. Jessica Lopez, she's a paleontologist for the Museum of Natural History, married to Dr. Isaac Lopez, also a paleontologist and works at the museum, in fact he was there in the paleontology department this Dinosaur Man stormed his way into." Gwen said.

"Any idea what was stolen?" Miles said.

"We do, according to Dr. Lopez, the case that Dinosaur Man took with him contained various Dinosaur DNAs." Gwen said.

"Dinosaur DNA? How is that possible?" Anya said.

"Apparently the paleontology department figured out a way to retrieve DNA from crystalized blood inside a mosquito trapped in amber." Peter said.

"So they took a page out of the Jurassic Park playbook." Miles said.

"What kind of DNAs are we talking about?" Anya said.

"Tyrannosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Velociraptor, and much more, almost all the dinosaur species." Peter said.

"What could he want with them?" Anya said.

"Not sure, but we found from Yuri that a creature matching our guys description broke into the Power Broker building last night in Upstate New York, took down the whole security in seconds, he made off with an industrial centrifuge, he's clearly planning something big, we need to find out what his endgame is before it's too late." Peter said.

"So what are we waiting for? Let's go find this dino guy." Miles is getting up but he's weaken and hurt. "Ow!"

"Take it easy, you're in no condition to fight, you need to rest, let us handle this." Peter said.

Miles is still hurt and weak. "Ah... okay... Hey, sorry if Ganke called you during class, I imagine you're both being late to class."

"It's okay, Dr. Connors cancelled his classes for the day, he even cancelled our lab work for the day." Gwen said.

"It's not like Doc to just cancel everything in the middle of the day, something must be going on with him, looks you were right to be worried yesterday." Peter said.

"I'll go check on him later, right now we need to track down this dinosaur man, I'll head out patrolling the city for his whereabouts." Gwen said.

"Alright, Anya and I will take Miles back to the academy, call us if you get a lead." Peter said.

"Will do." Gwen said.

"And Gwen... be careful out there." Peter said.

Gwen smile warmly as she puts on her mask and leaves the Spider-Cave, heading out on patrol, Peter and Anya put on their masks and helps Miles up from his cot.

"Okay come on, time to take you home pal." Peter said.

Peter and Anya are helping an injured Miles on his feet as they're about to take him back to Brooklyn.

It's 1:05 PM at Brooklyn Visions Academy, Miles is resting in his dorm room with Anya keeping him company as they're watching news on the laptop about the appearance of a dinosaur creature the media has dubbed the Dinosaur Man, as well as the unexpected death of Shingen Yashida from Tokyo, Japan.

"The police are still on the search for this Dinosaur Man who robbed the Museum of Natural History, he is also implicated in last night's robbery of the Power Broker Inc. in Upstate New York, he is considered to be very dangerous to the public, on another note, we've just got word from Tokyo, Japan that the CEO of the Yashida Corporation, Shingen Yashida has been pronounced dead, cause of death is..."

Ganke Lee just came into the dorm room to find his friend in bed as Miles closes the laptop.

"Ganke, you're back." Miles said.

"We all are, we just got back, how're you doing?" Ganke Lee said.

"Feel lucky to be alive, though I'm gonna be sitting out on the action for a while." Miles said.

"I'm sorry Miles, this was my fault, I let Dinosaur Man get to me, and I got distracted by Sam, I was too careless." Anya apologizes.

"It's okay Anya, none of us expected Sam to come back, I get that, but... don't go losing your cool every time someone insults you, that's one way of getting you or someone else killed." Miles said.

"I know, Miles, I screwed up." Anya said.

"Don't take it personally Anya, it can happen to any of us, we just need to be better." Miles said.

All of a sudden Miles' phone is ringing and it's from his mom, he also noticed he's got some missed call from his girlfriend Tiana.

"I gotta take this, it's my mom *sighs* she must be very worried and terrified, Ti too." Miles said.

"Yeah... take care Miles." Anya said.

Anya is leaving the dorm room and heading down the halls towards the girls dormitory, but coming up the stairs is Sam Alexander as he finally ran into Anya leaving the boys dormitory and she stopped by surprise.

"Sam..." Anya is speechless.

"Anya..." Sam hugs her all of a sudden feeling relieved. "Thank god you're alright."

"Yeah, I'm okay Sam, glad you're alright too." Anya being hugged.

Sam broke off the hug. "Where were you? I was scare out of my mind, I went back inside thinking something might've happened to you."

"I'm sorry to make you worry Sam, we got separated in the confusion." Anya made up a lie.

"We?" Sam is confused.

"Me and Miles were separated from the group, but we're both fine." Anya said.

"You didn't think to let us know you're fine? Maybe even give us a phone call." Sam said.

"Sorry, this whole thing was just too much to take in, I'm sorry Sam." Anya said.

"Are you really telling me the truth?" Sam suspects something.

"What do you mean?" Anya said.

"I mean this is another time you've ditched me at the last second and you make up some excuse, just like yesterday at the movies... Anya, what's really going on with you? Talk to me." Sam wants the truth.

Anya sighs. "You wouldn't understand."

"Then help me understand! Anya, whatever you're hiding from me, don't keep it to yourself... talk to me, please." Sam said.

Anya is feeling conflicted. "I'm sorry Sam, I can't."

Sam sighs. "I get it, you can't bring yourself to trust me enough to share your secret, I really thought we had something going on, guess I was wrong."

Sam then walks away from Anya after she refuse to tell him the truth about what she really does in her spare time, Anya felt bad for keeping secrets from the guy she likes, it's bad enough her judgment is compromised and her recklessness endangered her teammate, but now she's feeling even more conflicted by her relationship Sam since she can bring herself to tell him that she's Spider-Girl.

Time is 1:45 PM at Empire State University, far out from campus keeping a distance is Dinosaur Man in a coat and hat, he's standing in an alleyway observing the university waiting for the shipment of mutagens to arrive, he still gazed upon the university he was once part of until he got expelled by Dr. Connors himself, he lost everything that day, he just spotted a blonde female walking into campus, he recognized her as Gwen Stacy, one of Dr. Connors' brilliant students. Gwen has entered the lab complex to find Dr. Connors is still here as she's curious as to why he's cancelling everything in one day, Dr. Connors stopped studying his blood sample under the microscope upon finding his assistant Gwen coming in.

"Gwen, what are you doing here? I gave you and Parker the day off." Dr. Connors said.

"You did, but I got worried, we both are." Gwen said.

"Where is Parker anyway?" Dr. Connors said.

"He's out tracking down this Dinosaur Man, taking pictures and stuff." Gwen said.

"Right, photography work for the Bugle." Dr. Connors said.

"Is everything alright, and please don't tell me that you're fine, I can tell something is going on with you, talk to me?" Gwen said.

Dr. Connors sighs. "Come here, I want to show you something."

Gwen walked over to Dr. Connors side as he encourage her to look through the microscope, she took a peak to see a sample of Connors blood as she notice the mutation occurring in his cells.

"Oh my god..." Gwen is stunned.

"It's worse than I thought, the Lizard DNA in my cells have gotten stronger, the suppressants I've been using on myself aren't working anymore, the Lizard's coming... and it's soon." Dr. Connors shares the bad news.

"Well... we've still got sometime to figure something out." Gwen said.

"Gwen, that's what I've been doing lately, for two years I was able to keep the Lizard at bay while trying to find a cure, but all I've doing is delaying the inevitable, this whole Lizard thing I've been trying to hide, it's all about to come out, there's no stopping it this time. *sighs* Gwen, you should go, it's better that you don't get caught in the middle of this if this gets out of hand." Dr. Connors said.

"Hey, I'm not gonna leave you in this time of need, think about your wife and your son, don't give up so easily, keep on fighting... for them." Gwen said.

Dr. Connors sighs. "Alright, let's get to work."

Gwen agreed to stay behind to help Dr. Connors with his Lizard condition while they still have time.

It's 2:03 PM back at the Spider-Cave as Peter Parker is walking down the tunnel in his Spider-Man suit and just returned back with a sub sandwich in his hand from his favorite deli, he sat down at the chair wanting to chow down but he noticed Anya is here in her Spider-Girl suit all alone and quiet still dealing with her emotions.

"Anya, didn't know you'd come back?" Peter said.

"Hey Peter, I just needed to be alone, so I came back here to gather my thoughts... I see you got yourself some lunch." Anya said.

"Yeah, I stopped by Queens after I've helped drop off Miles, visited that Deli I'd often go to after school, they make the best sandwiches in Queens, want some? I'll split it with you." Peter said.

"What'd you get?" Anya said.

"Ham and Provolone sub with lettuce, tomato, mayo, oil, and vinegar, all the good stuff." Peter said.

Anya smiles with sighs. "Sure, why not?"

Peter opens up the paper wrap and split the sub in half, he took the unwrapped half in his hand and hands the wrapped half to Anya as the two started chowing down their halves.

Anya is chewing down as she likes the taste. "Hmm, this is great."

"Told you, best sandwiches in Queens... Is everything okay with you?" Peter is worried.

Anya sighs. "No, not is okay with me, my emotions are a wreck, I was too careless and my carelessness got Miles seriously hurt, he got injured because of me."

"Hey, don't be like that, we all knew the risk we took... but I'm guessing this isn't just about Miles, is it?" Peter figured.

"No, it's actually about Sam." Anya said.

"That guy you're going out with." Peter said.

"Yeah, he suspected that I was hiding from him, all those times I've disappeared unexpectedly, all those excuses I keep on making up, it finally reached a point I could barely hide anything from him anymore." Anya explained.

"I see." Peter said.

"You were right about this life Peter, being a hero is a lot harder than I thought, when I got my powers and decided to use them to do good, I didn't know exactly what I was getting into, keeping so much secret, lying to all the people you care about all the time, it's very hard." Anya said.

Peter sighs. "I'm sorry Anya, I had no idea... you really like this guy, don't you?"

Anya nods her head. "I feel bad I couldn't bring myself to be honest with him, I keep lying to him and all the lies eventually became too much for us, it drove us apart *sighs* it's not fair."

"It never is, we knew the kind of life we were living the moment we've put on our mask, a life facing many dangers to us and anyone close to us, we do our best in protecting our loved ones by keeping them away from this life as best we can, it can hard being a hero and maintaining a relationship." Peter said.

"Speaking from experience, aren't you?" Anya said.

"More than I care to admit, I hate keeping secrets from everyone, but I do it cause I want to protect them and keep them safe. Do you really want to put Sam's life at risk by telling him the kind of life you live by? Can you ask him to take that risk?" Peter said.

Anya sighs. "No... you're right, it wouldn't be fair to him, I can't ask him to take the risk and put himself in danger because of me."

"Listen Anya, if there's anything I've learned being a hero, nothing stays bad forever, our luck could eventually change for the better, just give it some time and I'm sure things between you and Sam will change for the better." Peter said.

"And if they don't?" Anya said.

"Then whatever happens, you don't have to deal with it alone, you still got friends who'll stand by you through tough times." Peter said.

Anya smile warmly. "Thanks Peter, for the advice... and the sandwich."

Peter and Anya remain on standby and eating their subs after having their chat, Anya is feeling a bit better.

It's 2:35 PM back at Empire State University as the Dinosaur Man is still waiting in the alley looking at the school, he then noticed a delivery truck came by, the delivery men came out of the cab as they're unloading the truck with a shipment of mutagens. Meanwhile inside the lab, Gwen is working with Dr. Connors trying to find a way to put a stop to the transformation of the Lizard, but so far they've got nothing, Dr. Connors noticed something happening to his own body, it's a sign that he's about to undergo a change very soon.

Dr. Connors sighs. "It's been a hour and we still got no solution."

"Don't be like." Gwen said.

"Gwen, you need to go in case the worst should come." Dr. Connors said.

"We still got some time, don't give up yet." Gwen said.

All of a sudden a couple of delivery men came in with a shipment of mutagens.

"Dr. Curtis Connors?"

"That's me, are those the mutagens I've ordered?" Dr. Connors said.

"Yes, we just need you to sign for them."

Dr. Connors took the pen as the delivery man holds up the tablet as Dr. Connors is one handed, he signs for the mutagens as the delivery men complete the delivery and left the lab, Gwen help Dr. Connors store the mutagens away in storage but something unexpected happened as they heard screaming outside the lab, forcing his way into the lab is the Dinosaur Man as it took Gwen and Dr. Connors by surprise, Gwen spotted the backpack with her Ghost-Spider suit inside but she can't get to it or run anywhere while Dinosaur Man got his sighs on them, Dinosaur Man is most eager to see Dr. Connors after so long.

"Dr. Connorsss, we meet again." Dinosaur Man said.

"We've met before? Who are you?" Dr. Connors said.

"What'sss the matter? Don't you recognize me? After all, I did work for you once, till you fired me." Dinosaur Man hinted his true identity.

Dr. Connors' eyes widen in shock upon the revelation. "Vincent Stegron?"

"Not anymore, I'm no longer that weak human you once knew, now I'm SSStegron the Dinosaur Man!" Dinosaur Man said.

"Vincent, do you realize what you've just done? Whatever you did to yourself might be permanent, you may never return being human again!" Dr. Connors protest.

"Ssso, I don't want to be human anymore, why be human at all when we could be ssso much more. I want those mutagens you've got, now... hand them over." Dinosaur Man said.

"Why? What are you going to do with them?" Dr. Connors said.

"You'll sssee, sssoon everyone will see. Now hand them over." Dinosaur Man said.

"No, I won't let you use science for your own twisted goal." Dr. Connors said as he suddenly got grabbed by the neck and held up in the air.

"Do you really think you can ssstop me?! I've been looking for thisss moment for a long time, you tossss me aside, now it'sss my turn!" Dinosaur Man holding up the doctor.

Dinosaur Man then tossed Dr. Connors through his office window hard.

"Dr. Connors!" Gwen yells.

Gwen is very worried for Dr. Connors as inside the office itself, Dr. Connors is seriously hurt but his body is undergoing a change as the right arm is regenerating, Dr. Connors can't kept in anymore. Dinosaur Man then turns to the shipment of mutagens, Gwen noticed that he's going for the mutagens as Dinosaur Man ignores her and went for them, Gwen can't let him get his hands on them, she quickly grabbed a glass of liquid nitrogen and tossed it at Dinosaur Man, he got exposed to it and he's feeling the icy cold affecting his warm blooded skin, he's in serious pain as Gwen tries to take the mutagens but Dinosaur Man is still standing strong despite the intense cold he's feeling, he grabbed Gwen by the neck and holds her up in the air.

"That... wasn't... very... nice..." Dinosaur Man is angry.

Dinosaur Man squeezes his grip on Gwen's neck as he's going to kill her right there in the lab, Gwen is struggling to break free by any means necessary but Dinosaur Man is way stronger as she's running out of air and begins to blackout to death, Dinosaur Man is choking Gwen until he heard something coming from the office like a growl, he stops choking and turns his attention towards something big emerging from the office, something in green scales, Dr. Connors has fully transformed into the Lizard.

"What the..." Dinosaur Man is surprised.

Lizard roars out and charges in for a tackle, he pushed Dinosaur Man down as he lost his grip on Gwen Stacy, she was dropped to the floor and coughs to regain air, she looks at the fight between Dinosaur Man and Lizard, she quickly picks up her backpack and rushed out of the lab for a change while the two reptilians are duking it out against one another to notice, Lizard is locked in battle against Dinosaur Man with their hands locked, he resorted to bite on Dinosaur Man's neck hard, making the villain flinch in pain but he's still standing, he overpowers Lizard with his superior strength and pushed Lizard aside, he then swings his spiky tail at the Lizard hard, injuring and knocking him down hard. Lizard is too weaken to fight back as Dinosaur Man proceeded to finish him off, but he hears police siren from a distance.

Dinosaur Man is all tired out. "Bad timing... but at least I'll get what I want."

Dinosaur Man put off executing Lizard in favor of taking the mutagens away before the cops show up, he's making his escape outside as the Lizard is too injured, but his regenerative powers kicked in and started healing up the wound he got from Dinosaur Man's spiky tail, the wound is all healed up as Lizard recovered so quickly and got back on his feet, he proceeded to make his escape too, he leaves the lab as Ghost-Spider finally returned back but she spotted the Lizard making his escape, she swings after him as fast as she can, the Lizard eventually made it out to the streets as a lot of cars stopped upon seeing him, Lizard spotted a manhole nearby, he pulled it from the ground, Ghost-Spider swing in closer and tossed a Spider-Tracer towards him, it managed to attach itself to the Lizard before he jumped down the manhole and is now in the sewers, Ghost-Spider landed on the streets as she was too late to stop both Dinosaur Man and the Lizard from getting away.

Later around 3 PM back at the Spider-Cave, Peter and Anya are still in their suits along with Ganke Lee as they're watching the news about another sighting of the Dinosaur Man at ESU, coming through the tunnel is Gwen as she took off her mask, Peter spotted his fiancée alive and well, he rushed over to her side and hugs her in relief.

"Thank god you're alright, Gwendy." Peter then kisses her.

"I'm okay Peter, I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to call, everything happened so fast, Dinosaur Man coming into the lab..." Gwen says too much.

"It's okay Gwen, I'm just glad you're here with me." Peter is relieved.

"Me too Pete, me too... but I got so much to tell you and we don't have much time." Gwen said.

"Right... okay, what do you got?" Peter said.

"I know who the Dinosaur Man is, it's Vincent Stegron." Gwen said.

"Vincent Stegron, now there's a name I've haven't heard in a while." Peter said.

"Who's Vincent Stegron?" Anya asking.

"He was Dr. Connors assistants, until he was fired months ago after the incident in the Savage Land, Stegron's cowardice and selfishness endangered the lives of the expedition team, that was enough to make Connors fire him and had him expelled from the university, we never heard from him again, til now." Peter said.

"Okay, now that we know who he is, question is how'd did he turn into that Dino guy?" Anya said.

"Stegron caused a Stegosaurus stampede, he must've obtain a DNA sample while we were in the Savage Land, he could've brought it back home with him and none of us knew it." Peter suspected.

"But why attack ESU? What did he want from there?" Ganke Lee asking.

"He stole the mutagens from the lab, the ones Dr. Connors ordered recently, Stegron knew the lab would have possession of them, he took them before the police showed up." Gwen explained.

"So he got what he needed, this is bad." Anya said.

"It gets worse, Dr. Connors has turned into the Lizard again, he's out there loose in the sewers somewhere and this time there is no way to cure him of the condition, the suppressants don't work anymore." Gwen said.

Peter sighs. "So we got two reptilians loose in Manhattan, just what we need."

"Not to worry, I've managed to place a Spider-Tracer before he jump down the rabbit hole." Gwen said.

"So what do we do?" Anya said.

"Ganke, can you pull up everything on Vincent Stegron? His home address, phone calls, financials, everything you've got to find him."

Ganke types the keyboard as he's pulling up everything on Vincent Stegron on the supercomputer.

"Looks like he's been evicted from his apartment months ago, but his financials says he's rented a warehouse in the Bronx, he's also spent money on some science equipment." Ganke Lee said.

"Sounds like he's set up his own lab, it's our only lead." Peter said.

"What about the Lizard?" Anya said.

"I can track him down." Gwen said.

"Okay, let's split up, Anya and I will head on to the Bronx, hopefully Stegron will still be there, meanwhile you go track down the Lizard and approach with caution, chances are he might not be Connors anymore." Peter said.

"I understand, be careful out there Pete." Gwen said.

"You too Gwendy, you too." Peter said.

Peter and Gwen share a kiss before they parted ways, Gwen puts her mask back on and leaves the Spider-Cave to track down the Lizard, Peter and Anya puts on their masks as they leave too to track down Dinosaur Man in the Bronx.

Later around 3:25 PM at the Alexander Residence in Brooklyn, Sam came by home for a visit to find his mother here along with his sister who are both in the living room watching the news of this Dinosaur Man causing a spree around Manhattan, they spotted Sam here as they got up and walk up to him, his mother hugged him feeling relieved for son.

"Oh thank god you're okay." Eva Alexander hugging her son.

Sam being hugged so tight. "Okay, dial it back mom, I'm fine."

Eva Alexander broke off the hug. "Sorry, as soon as I heard about this dinosaur guy showing up at the museum, I panicked."

"I'm alright, see? I'm perfectly fine." Sam assured.

"What was this dinosaur like? Does he roars like this..." Kaelynn imitates a dinosaur's roar.

"Okay that's enough Kaelynn, let's not make your brother relive that horrible experience. Why don't you go up to your room and do some homework, I need to talk with Sam for a moment, please." Eva Alexander said.

"Sure mom, glad you didn't get eaten." Kaelynn teases as she leaves.

"Love you too sis." Sam smiles.

Kaelynn went up the stairs, Eva got a chance to speak with her son alone.

"So... how is school? Other than the field trip of course." Eva Alexander said.

"School's fine, mom." Sam said with a look on his face.

"Sam... I know that look in your face, something's bothering you... talk to me." Eva Alexander said.

Sam sighs. "It's about Anya."

"That girl you kissed." Eva Alexander said.

"Yeah, that Anya." Sam said.

"Okay, what's going with Anya?" Eva Alexander said.

"Honestly I don't know what's going on with her, lately she's been ducking out all of a sudden and making up these lame excuses." Sam said.

"Did she ever tell you the reason why?" Eva Alexander said.

"No, I tried reaching out to her, hoping she would tell me what's going on, but she just shut me out." Sam said.

Eva Alexander sighs. "I'm sorry Sam... you really like this girl, don't you?"

Sam nods his head. "I do, ever since we've kissed on Valentine's Day, I thought we had something great going on, but all her secrets just keeps pushing us apart, I just don't know how to handle it."

"Sam... I understand what you're going through." Eva Alexander said.

"You do?" Sam looks surprised.

"I went through the same thing with your father, when we were young, your dad was keeping secrets from me too, I didn't understand the kind of life he was living and it did take a toll on our relationship." Eva Alexander said.

"I had no idea... but you and dad still remain together. Did he ever tell his reasons?" Sam said.

"Not for a while, but I love him so much and he love me too, eventually he came around and confided in me, we ended up growing stronger. Sam, you gotta ask yourself, do you really want to be with Anya so much?" Eva Alexander said.

"Yes." Sam said.

"Then be patient, if she likes you so much, then she'll come to confide in you." Eva Alexander said.

Sam thinks about everything his mom said about relationships and secrets, he still wants to be with Anya but can he be patient enough to stay in the relationship.

It's 3:55 PM in the Bronx, Spider-Man and Spider-Girl are swinging through the neighborhood until they've finally landed on top of the warehouse rented out to Vincent Stegron, they found a window celling to take a peek, there doesn't seemed to be any sign of the Dinosaur Man inside, they slide open the window ceiling and drops down into the warehouse for a closer look only to find the makeshift lab and still no sign of Dinosaur Man, but Spider-Man did spot a few things here that seem familiar.

"He doesn't seem to be here." Spider-Girl said.

"But this is definitely the place, there's the mutagen containers along with the centrifuge he stole from Power Broker." Spider-Man said.

"And this is case he stole from the museum." Spider-Girl said.

Spider-Man put his hand on the centrifuge. "Looks like it's been used recently, he must've already gotten what he needed, we still need to figure out what his endgame is, keep looking around."

Spider-Girl looks around the table only to spot a book. "Hey, check this out, what do you make of this?"

Spider-Man took the book and read it, it's got instructions on splicing human DNA with that of a pteranodon's.

"Says here how to splice Dino DNA with a human, it's been written by Karl Lykos, that's Connors friend in the Savage Land, the one who was Sauron, Stegron must've stolen it, this explains how he was able to successfully splice his DNA with a stegosaurus, but we still need to find out what he's planning." Spider-Man said.

Spider-Man and Spider-Girl kept looking around until they've spotted a laptop closed down, Spider-Man opens up and it turns back up, he scrolls around to find a footage made recently, he plays the video showing the Dinosaur Man

"My name is Vincent Stegron, today is March 12th, time is 3:35 PM, asss you can see I've finally sssucceeded in making myself more human and I thought to myself why ssstop there, why be human at all while we can be ssso much more, human beingsss are pathetic, humansss wage war and pollute the planet, the world needsss to be restore to itsss natural ssstate, Dinosaurs ruled the world before humansss, and they can be again asss we can be the best of both, and thisss isss my gift to you!" Dinosaur Man narrates the video.

The video shows a simulations of Dinosaur Man using a formula he created to spread all over the city to transform human beings into dinosaur hybrids, that's his endgame.

"Oh my god..." Spider-Girl said.

"I knew he was unhinged, never imaged he go this far." Spider-Man said.

"But how? How's he going to distribute his stuff to the whole city?" Spider-Girl said.

"Hang on, there might something in this computer, give me a minute." Spider-Man scrolls down the internet only to find a search familiar result. "Got it, check it out."

Spider-Girl looked at the results relating to Oscorp. "Oscorp? Why is he so interested in Oscorp?"

Spider-Man's eyes widen upon figuring it out. "I know what he's after, the Ganali Device."

"Isn't that the same device you used to cure the entire city once?" Spider-Girl said.

"The same, Stegron must've figured out that Oscorp was responsible for building it, the Ganali Device is loaded up with much chemical compounds used to replicate any cure for immediate distribution, but Stegron can retrofit it for his formula, instead of cure the city..." Spider-Man explains.

"He can use it to turn the entire city full of people into dinosaurs." Spider-Girl said.

"Exactly." Spider-Man said.

"Then what are we waiting for, let's go stop him." Spider-Girl said as she's eager for action.

"Hold on, let's talk first." Spider-Man said.

"What's there to talk about? This guy's about to turn people into dinosaurs, we can't wait around." Spider-Girl said.

"Before we go confront him, we need to talk about keeping your emotions in check." Spider-Man said.

"Seriously? We gotta do this now?!" Spider-Girl said.

"Yes, we can't go into battle with our personal feelings getting in the way, not with so much at stake." Spider-Man said.

"This guy almost killed our friend, he even came close to killing your fiancee, are you gonna tell me this isn't personal for you too?" Spider-Girl said.

"No, I feel the same way as you, I'm angry what this guy has done to the our loved ones, but we can't let our personal feelings cloud our judgment, to do what's right for everyone, we have to trust our instincts and not just our feelings. When we go out there, can I count on you to do the same? Put your whole feelings aside for the whole city?" Spider-Man said.

Anya sighs calmly. "I will, you can count on it."

"Okay, then let's go." Spider-Man said.

Spider-Man and Spider-Girl are leaving the warehouse as they know now where Dinosaur Man is going, next stop is Oscorp.

Around 4:06 PM deep down in the sewers of Manhattan, Ghost-Spider is crawling around the celling tracking down the Lizard who has taken refuge somewhere around here, she spotted some footprints made by lizard feet, the Spider-Tracer signal is getting stronger as she then heard a roar deep down the tunnel, she proceed ahead and quietly as to not tip off the Lizard she's coming, she finally arrived at the end of the tunnel to find the Lizard struggling with himself with his hands on his head.

Ghost-Spider is concerned as she attempts to reach out. "Dr. Connors?"

Lizard turns around and spotted Ghost-Spider. "You..."

"It's you, isn't it?" Ghost-Spider said.

Lizard speaking in Dr. Connors' voice. "Get out of here, I'm not myself right now."

"I won't leave you, I'm here to help you." Ghost-Spider said.

"You can't help me, no one can, there's no turning back from this, my life as I know it is over... please leave me." Lizard pleaded.

"I can't do that, think about your wife, your son." Ghost-Spider said.

"I am thinking about them! But I can't go back to them looking like this, I'm a monster!" Lizard still struggling.

"No, you're not a monster, you're Dr. Curtis Connors, a great scientist and a great family man, you need to control the Lizard." Ghost-Spider said.

"I... can't..." Lizard struggling.

"Yes you can! Whether you like it or not, the Lizard is a part of you! Rather than trying to resist him, embrace him, take control!" Ghost-Spider said.

"What's the point! There is no hope for me!" Lizard said.

"Yes there is, you're a good man with a good heart, right now we need that good man's help, Vincent Stegron is up there in the city, he's about to do the same thing you once did, he wants to turn everyone into Dinosaurs, my friends are up there about to stop him but we can't do it alone, please Dr. Connors, help us stop him, for Martha, for Billy." Ghost-Spider said.

Ghost-Spider's words are getting through to Dr. Connors inside the Lizard as the good doctor is fighting to stay in control as so much at stake.

It's 4:35 PM in Manhattan as the day is still normal and people are going on with their live, outside of Oscorp Tower, coming out of building are Donald Menken along with a group of Japanese nationals, they're all representatives of the Yashida Corporation as Menken is escorting them back to their car after concluding their business as the Yashida representatives bow in politeness.

"Gentlemen, on behalf of Norman Osborn who is away, I'm glad that we can continue our partnership given recent events." Donald Menken said.

"Yes, what happened to Shingen was unfortunate, but I'm sure he'll want us to continue this partnership that has benefited both our companies."

"As long as you provide us with the components, we'll all continue to be benefited and profited." Donald Menken said.

"Thank you for the meeting Mr. Menken, now if you'll excuse us, we have a plane to catch."

"What's the hurry? Are you sure you don't want to stick around? New York may not be Tokyo, but it's a great city to visit, we have a lot to offer." Donald Menken said.

All of a sudden a lot of people are running away in the streets in fear, Menken and the Yashida representatives spotted something walking through the street who is scaring people, it's the Dinosaur Man who roared out, the Japanese men are all stunned saying "Gojira!", Dinosaur Man is walking towards Oscorp as he spotted some men in front, he screams out like Godzilla as they all ran away for their lives, now that the way is cleared he proceed inside the tower with the canisters loaded up with his dino formula, he screams as people inside ran away, one of them tripped the fire alarm before leaving.

A few minutes later coming in swinging towards Oscorp Tower are Spider-Man and Spider-Girl as they've spotted the NYPD outside the building helping escort Oscorp employees to safety, they figured that Dinosaur Man is already here, they swinging towards the police cruisers where Captain Watanabe is leading the operation, she's joined up with Spider-Man and Spider-Girl.

"Spider-Man, Spider-Girl, glad you can join the party." Yuri Watanabe said.

"Let me guess, 2 feet tall, orange scales, plates on his back?" Spider-Man said.

"Yeah, he's in there, most of the employees were able to evacuate in time, there's no telling who else is inside with him. How'd you know he'd be here?" Yuri Watanabe said.

"We were tracking down a lead that led us to his hideout, from there we've figured out his endgame." Spider-Man said.

"What is his endgame?" Yuri Watanabe said.

"He's got everything he needed to create a formula that'll turn humans into dinosaurs, the only thing he needs is the Ganali device that could only be found here at Oscorp, once he gets it he'll be able to unleash his formula upon the entire city, transforming everyone in dino creatures like him." Spider-Man explained.

"My god... you're not going to let that happen, are you." Yuri Watanabe said.

"No, we're gonna stop him by any means necessary, we'll head on to the top to the tower, it's where he'll likely place the device for widespread distribution, we need you and your officers to lock this building down, it's about to be a hot zone." Spider-Man said.

"Alright, we'll keep this building lockdown, save us all Spidey, the fate of the city is in your hands now, good luck." Yuri Watanabe said.

Spider-Man and Spider-Girl both started swinging towards the windows and started climbing up towards the top of the tower, meanwhile down on the streets a manhole is opening up nearby as a scaly hand emerges from it. At the very top of Oscorp Tower is the Dinosaur Man as he's already placed the Ganali device and is loading up his formula, the device is replicating the properties of the formula as it'll take a few minutes till completion.

"In a few minutesss, my vision ssshall become a reality." Dinosaur Man said with pride.

"Not today!" Spider-Man's voice.

Dinosaur Man turns around to find Spider-Man and Spider-Girl here on the rooftop.

"Well, well, well, if isn't SSSpider-Man and SSSpider-Brat!" Dinosaur Man said.

"You got a big mouth on you, Dino Breath." Spider-Girl returns the insult.

"Easy Spider-Girl, don't let it get to you." Spider-Man said.

"You're too late, within minutesss, everyone shall be just like me." Dinosaur Man said.

"That's not gonna happen, you got no right to do this to everyone." Spider-Man said.

"Do humansss have every right to pollute the planet? Look at the world, it'sss never enough for humansss, it ssstinksss!" Dinosaur Man said.

"This world may not be perfect, but it's been through a lot in recent years, people can learn to be better, life always finds a way." Spider-Man said.

"That way will sssoon be my way, sssoon I ssshall not be alone." Dinosaur Man said.

"Well you're gonna be very alone for a long time, cause we'll stop both you." Spider-Girl said.

"SSStupid brat, I've already took down your foolish friend easily, do you honestly believe you two can ssstand a chance against me?!" Dinosaur Man said.

"We'll find a way to stop you no matter what." Spider-Man said.

"You want to ssstop it, you'll have to go through me." Dinosaur Man is being daring.

"Spider-Girl, you take the right, I'll go left." Spider-Man whispers.

"Got it." Spider-Girl whispers.

Spider-Man and Spider-Girl both split up and charges at the device in separate directions to confuse the Dinosaur Man who to attack, but he focuses on Spider-Girl by swinging his claws at her and swings his spiky tail at Spider-Man, the young hero slides down and dodged the claws, Spider-Man fired a web line at one of the antennas and swings away, dodging the tail, he then counters by firing off some webbing at Dinosaur Man's feet, trapping him as he and Spider-Girl rushed towards the Ganali Device as it's on a timer and counting down until the replication is completed for immediate launch, they're attempting to figure out how to disable it, Dinosaur Man panics as he quickly cuts off the webbing on his feet while the heroes are distracted.

"Okay Spidey, any ideas how to turn it off?" Spider-Girl said.

"I think so, give me a second." Spider-Man said.

Spider-Man and Spider-Girl's senses tingles together as Dinosaur Man swings a large pipe and knocks both of them in a single blow, both heroes went down hurt as Dinosaur Man quick grabs their necks while they're attempting to get back up, he holds them up in the air as they're struggling to break free from his very strong grip, but it's proven to be impossible as they're at his mercy.

Dinosaur Man chuckles. "Nice try... too bad neither of you will get to live to sssee my new world."

Dinosaur Man crushes his grip on both Spider-Man and Spider-Girl as they're being choked to death, but something unexpected happened as someone swung his tail hard and knocked Dinosaur Man down as he loosen his grip, dropping both Spider-Man and Spider-Girl down, Ghost-Spider finally arrived and checks up on her friends coughing for air.

"Are you both alright?" Ghost-Spider said.

"Yeah...*coughs and breathes.* how'd you do that?" Spider-Man said.

"I didn't..." Ghost-Spider looks at an unexpected ally. "He did."

Dinosaur Man recovers to see the Lizard is here with the Web-Warriors.

"You again!" Dinosaur Man said.

"Stegron, listen to me." Lizard speaking in Connors' voice.

Dinosaur Man is stunned upon hearing that voice. "Connorsss? Thisss whole time, it wasss you, you were the Lizard."

"Yes, I am the Lizard, Stegron, I need you to listen to me, stop all this while you still can." Lizard said.

"How can you ask me to ssstop what I've worked ssso hard to accomplish, I did what you did, made myself more than human, why should I not do the sssame to everyone?" Dinosaur Man said.

"I thought as you did once, I wanted to make everyone like me, I was going to take away everyone's humanity." Lizard said.

"You ssshould have, humanity is pathetic, so why not join me as I cleanse the Earth of all humansss." Dinosaur Man said.

"Cause it's wrong, I agree that humanity is flawed, but it's also beautiful, and I have the most precious gift from humanity, my family. So no, I won't be joining you, for the last time Stegron, put a stop to all this and let us find a way to help you get your humanity back." Lizard said.

"How dare you, you damn hypocrite! Do you honest believe I ever want to go back to being that weak human? Never, I'm going to change thisss world and I won't you or anyone ssstop me!" Dinosaur Man said.

"Then we're done talking, time for some action." Spider-Man said.

"Like I said, you'll have to go through me, if you can." Dinosaur Man said.

The Web-Warriors and the Lizards sees the time has got one minute and 30 seconds till it's ready to launch for distribution, they're short on time as the only thing standing between them and the device is Dinosaur Man himself, but he won't be easy to take down since he's proven to be more stronger than any of them put together, but none of that matters as they all charged in at the device while they got time to spare, Lizard is the first one to tackle down Dinosaur Man, but the villain kicked him off as Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider both swing in for a double drop kick, but he's too durable to take down by force as he pushed them back hard, Spider-Girl is left swinging as she fired off some webbing at his eyes, blinding him for a bit while she focuses on the device itself, Spider-Man is getting back up and helps Ghost-Spider on her feet as Dinosaur Man is struggling to remove the webbings.

"This guy is seriously tough, is there anything that can hurt him?' Spider-Man said.

Ghost-Spider realized something. "Hold on, I think I know something that'll work."

Dinosaur Man swings down his spiky tail as the two heroes split up, Lizard got back up and charged in, locking his hands with Dinosaur Man's, keeping him busy while the Web-Warriors have some privacy to chat

"Okay, what do you got?" Spider-Man said.

"I remember something, earlier today I've used liquid nitrogen against him, it seemed to hurt him pretty badly." Ghost-Spider said.

"Of course, he's warm blooded, his body can't take cold temperatures, it's his weakness." Spider-Man said.

"And lucky for us, you happened to have some ice to spare." Ghost-Spider said.

Meanwhile Lizard is doing his best to keep Dinosaur Man at bay while Spider-Girl is attempting to figure out how to turn off the Ganali Device as she's got 40 seconds left, but Dinosaur Man panics as he noticed her, he overpowers Lizard with his might strength and pushed him back hard, Lizard is still standing but Dinosaur Man swings his tail hard and knocked Lizard down hard as he quickly turns around.

"Get away, you SSSpider-Brat!" Dinosaur Man insults.

Spider-Girl heard it but she ignores it as she puts all her focus on the device as time is very short, Dinosaur Man is going to attempt to stop her.

"Hey Dino Breath!" Spider-Man teases as Dinosaur Man turns around. "You seriously need to chill out!"

Spider-Man fired off ice webbing from his web shooters as Dinosaur Man took the full force of the ice webbing doing it effect on his entire body.

"What isss thisss? What'sss happening to me?" Dinosaur Man said.

Dinosaur Man is feeling pretty weak upon the ice affecting his body, weakening him to the point of undergoing hibernation, he dosed off and went out cold upon being completely trapped in cold ice.

"Look likes the Ice Age is here." Spider-Man said.

All of a sudden the Ganali Device is counting down from 10 seconds as Spider-Girl is struggling to figure out how to disable it.

"10... 9... 8... 7... 6..."

"Ah screw it!" Spider-Girl said.

"5... 4... 3... 2..."

Spider-Girl resorted to punch through the device's circuits, effectively breaking it apart as the device finally stopped before it reached zero, the Web-Warriors are all relieved that the Ganali Device has been disable through brute force which is unexpected.

"Sorry, I was out of options." Spider-Girl said.

"It's fine, job well done!" Spider-Man gave a thumbs up.

"Thanks... can't imagine Osborn will be too happy once he finds out what we did to his device." Spider-Girl said.

"It's fine, he never liked us anyway, but either way, we did our job, the city is safe once more, Dinosaur Man is finally captured, life goes back to normal for everyone." Spider-Man said.

"Yes... normal..." Lizard said.

"Hey, don't be like that, maybe we can still figure out a way to help you." Ghost-Spider said.

"How, it's one thing to control the Lizard, it's another to turn back to normal." Lizard said.

"Hey, since your body changes every now and then, we know it might be possible for you to change back at will, you just need to relax and find peace within yourself, can you do that?" Spider-Man said.

"I don't know if I can." Lizard still doubtful.

"Yes you can, I thought the same thing too, but you can find peace within yourself, just calm yourself down, think good thoughts." Spider-Girl said.

"Think about your wife Martha, your son Billy, they need you back in their lives, relax and be at peace." Ghost-Spider said.

Lizard then takes their words to heart and calms himself down, thinking good thoughts about his wife and son, he's very eager to come back to them, Lizard is finding peace as he's starting to transform back to normal slowly right before the Web-Warriors eyes, he back to normal as human, as Dr. Curtis Connors. He looks at his left hand all normal, he touched his face to noticed that it's normal too.

Dr. Connors smiles and giggles. "It worked, I'm me again!"

"Come on Doc, let's get you out of here." Ghost-Spider said.

Ghost-Spider then takes Dr. Connors and jumps off the tower, swinging through the city with Dr. Connors while Spider-Man and Spider-Girl stayed behind and wait for S.H.I.E.L.D. to take Dinosaur Man into custody to be locked away at the Raft.

Later around 5:55 PM at the Spider-Cave, where Ganke Lee watched the news about Dinosaur Man's arrest at Oscorp Tower, being taken in by S.H.I.E.L.D., coming back to the cave are Spider-Man and Spider-Girl with a boxes of pizza from Joe's after a day of saving the city, Ganke spotted them coming in with pizza boxes as they set it on the table and takes off their masks.

"Hey, glad you're back, I see you've brought some lunch." Ganke Lee said.

"We've worked up quite an appetite, we've got one for Miles." Peter said.

"I'm sure he'll want some, I'm gonna head on back to school. You coming Anya?" Ganke Lee said.

"Yeah, give me a minute first, I got something I need to talk with Peter before we go." Anya said.

"Sure, let me know when you want to go." Ganke Lee said.

Ganke then went to the table to grab a slice of pizza while Peter and Anya have some privacy to talk alone.

"You did great out there Anya, you've kept your cool in the heat of the moment." Peter said.

"Guess all that training you've gave me paid off." Anya smile.

"So what did you want to talk about?" Peter said.

Anya sighs. "I've thinking about everything you've said about keeping secrets to protect our loved ones, I just don't know if I'm able to keep this up, lying to Sam all the time, I just can't do that anymore."

"What are you saying?" Peter said.

Anya sighs. "I'm going to tell Sam the truth, at least about me, I hope you can understand and respect my decision."

Peter sighs. "I understand, it's your life Anya, your choice, whatever you do decide, I'll back you up no matter what."

Anya smile. "Thanks Pete."

Anya then hugs Peter before she goes, then she leaves with Ganke carrying a pizza box after she made up her decision to tell Sam the truth, she walks down the tunnel passing by Ghost-Spider coming through to the Spider-Cave, she takes off her mask and spotted her fiancé.

"Hey, how's the Doc?" Peter said.

"Dropped him back at ESU, cleaning up the mess waiting for his family to comeback home, but other than that he's fine." Gwen said.

"I'm glad he took back control of his life." Peter said.

"So am I Pete, so am I." Gwen said.

"Let's check on Doc after we're done eating." Peter said.

"Sure, but first I'm starving." Gwen said.

"Me too." Peter said.

Peter picked up two cans of ginger ales, hands one to Gwen as they open it up and cheered together before drinking it up about to have some pizza.

It's 6:28 PM at Brooklyn Visions Academy as Miles is still resting in his bed looking up recent news on Dinosaur Man's arrest on the laptop while listening to music on his headphones, all of a sudden the door opens up as Anya came back with Ganke carrying a pizza box from Joe's, Miles smelled something good in the air as he closed off his laptop to spot his friends with pizza.

"Hungry?" Ganke holding up the pizza box.

"Oh yeah, I'm starving." Miles gets up from the bed and grabs a silce, he took a bite and chew. "Thanks."

"I see you're feeling alright." Ganke smile.

"Yeah, my mom and Ti came by to check up on me, just glad they didn't noticed the wound I've got, it's healing up pretty fine, so I should be back in action very soon." Miles said.

"Good to hear, too bad you wouldn't be able to keep that new scar, sure Ti would've find it hot." Anya teases.

Miles smiles and giggles. "Glad you guys took down Mini Godzilla for me."

"Of course, glad you're okay too Miles. I'll leave you guys alone to eat, get well." Anya said.

Anya waved bye to her friends as they got to eating together, she walks down the hallway of the dormitory until she bumped into Sam who just returned back after visiting his family, he was surprised to see Anya here.

"Anya?" Sam said.

"Sam... I was just looking for you." Anya said.

"I was looking for you too." Sam said.

Anya sighs. "Sam, I need to tell you something..."

"Listen Anya, I'm sorry about before..." Sam said.

"Sam?" Anya looked confused.

"I shouldn't press you about your private life. Listen Anya, whatever you're keeping from me, you don't have to tell me unless you want to, I'll wait until the time is right when you're ready, but for now I just want to be with you." Sam said.

Anya smiles. "I want to be with you too Sam."

Anya then hugs Sam right there in the hallway as Sam hugs her back, they then looked at each other and lean in for a kiss, deepening their relationship, Anya is happy being with Sam, a part of her still wants to confide in her new boyfriend, maybe she will one day, but for now she glad to be back with Sam more than anything.

Later it's 7:04 PM back at Empire State University, Dr. Connors is here in his lab cleaning up the mess left behind by Dinosaur Man's break-in, he looks at the phone nearby waiting to hear back from his family as he's been thinking about a lot a things recently, about his future, coming into the lab are Peter and Gwen to find Dr. Connors back to his old self again as he's cleaning up all by himself.

"Hey Doc, I see you're still you." Peter said.

"I take it you've heard." Dr. Connors said.

"Gwen catch me up on a few things, but I'm glad you're back." Peter said.

"Thanks. What about Stegron? He knows my secret." Dr. Connors is worried.

"Not to worry, I've heard back from Spider-Man, Stegron is on his way to the Raft, they'll put him in a isolated room, he won't be able to tell anyone, your secret is safe." Peter said.

"That's good to know." Dr. Connors said.

"You need some help?" Gwen said.

"Sure." Dr. Connors said.

Peter and Gwen each grab a broom and a dust pan as they joined in helping Dr. Connors clean up the lab, Dr. Connors is sweeping up glass shards into the dust pan as he's made up his mind about his future and he needs to tell his students something.

"Parker, Stacy, there's... something I need to tell you both." Dr. Connors said.

Peter stopped sweeping. "What is it, Doc?"

Dr. Connors sighs. "I'm going to resign from ESU soon."

Peter and Gwen are stunned upon this unexpected news.

"What?" Peter said.

"Why do you need to resign? You've got the Lizard under control, there's no need to make such a decision." Gwen said.

"This isn't about the Lizard or my secret, it's about my family and everything they've been through cause of me, I have to do what's best for them.* sighs* Peter, Gwen, you're both still young, but when you two are living the married life and one day you'll have kids of your own, you'll understand as a parent the things we do for them, I hope you two can respect my decision." Dr. Connors said.

Peter sighs. "I understand."

"We respect your decision." Gwen said.

"I'll still be around till the end of this semester, me and Martha will be there on your wedding day, after that we'll move, I still got months to find someone who can take my post here in the science department." Dr. Connors said.

"Can't imagine this place will be the same with you gone." Peter said.

Dr. Connors smiles. "You two have been the best students I had the privilege to teach, the best assistants I could asked for, I'll miss you guys too, I hope you both have a happy marriage together."

"That's our plan." Peter smiles.

Dr. Connors' phone pings as the good doctor walked over to check the text from his wife saying she and Billy are home.

"Your wife?" Gwen said.

"Yeah, she and Billy just got back home." Dr. Connors said.

"Go, we'll have everything cleaned up here." Peter said.

"Go be with your family, you earned it." Gwen said.

"Thank you both, I'll see you both tomorrow in class." Dr. Connors said.

Dr. Connors waved goodbye to Peter and Gwen as he leaves the lab while the couple stayed behind to clean up.

Later around 7:56 PM at the Connors Residence, Martha and Billy are in the living room waiting for Curt to return home, Martha is wondering if her husband is back to normal after being warned to stay away from him for awhile. The door is opening up as Dr. Connors just came back home to find his family is back, Martha and Billy all rushed to his side and hugs him tight.

"Oh Curt!" Martha still hugging.

"Martha, Billy, I'm very glad you're back." Dr. Connors said.

"Glad you're back too, daddy." Billy smile.

"Don't worry Billy, everything is going to fine from now on, nothing is going to keep us apart, I'll always be here where I belong, with my family." Dr. Connors said.

Dr. Connors is happy to have his life back to normal and being in the presence of his family.
