With finals right around the corner, campus is as hectic as a Black Friday sale. There were students who booked study rooms in the library and stayed for hours and there were also students who littered campus in frantic rush as they cried about this or that. The amount of people who bursted into tears were staggering for those who did not know what was going on but the students and professors all knew.
And what was the best way to get over stress and anxiety?
Get drunk.
So while Lucy was supposed to be nose deep in a history book, she was seven shots deep while tongue fucking her boyfriend who was no stranger to delinquency and letting loose. He was in Delta Tail for a reason and those boys needed no excuse to throw a party, even if it was Tuesday and twelve o'clock in the afternoon. With the sun high up in the sky and the days warmer, music blasted from a speaker while people went in and out of the house and scattered around the porch and front yard. A table with cups and students playing pong was on the side while there was also a game of horseshoe. A keg shoved into a trash can full of ice sat on the porch by the couple and Natsu found home in a lawn chair with his girlfriend seated on his lap as they people watched and touched each other inappropriately.
"I'm going to miss you," Lucy whined against his lips as she felt his hand run up and down her thigh, pushing up the material of her skirt. She hiccuped as he grinned up at her, a slight flush to his cheeks.
"Baby, I'm not going anywhere." He laughed and she pouted, her fingernail tracing the faded scar on his neck.
"Natsu, it's summer break in three weeks. Aren't you going home?"
"Is it already?" He hummed in thought while he sipped at his beer can.
"Yes, finals are literally next week! Hence, the day party?" She motioned towards the crowd that was surrounding his home.
"Oh," he blinked stupidly as he placed his beer can against her knee. "Well, I was kind of hoping you might want to come with me."
"To your home?" She asked in surprise, eyes widening. He just nodded, watching her reaction. "Were you ever going to tell me or just tell me the day of?"
"I was actually just going to slip something in your drink and have you wake up in my house," He smirked at the way she scowled playfully, a wet kiss imprinting on her cheek as she giggled. "Well, I kind of wanted you to meet my dad."
"Your dad?" Her giggles subsided and her heart throbbed inside of her chest.
"Yeah," he sipped from his can loudly before he sighed. "My dad."
"Oh… I…" she suddenly felt shy as the flush deepened down to her chest and to the tip of her ears. Her fingers fiddled with the ends of her skirt as she casted her eyes down. "I'm not good with dads."
Natsu snorted. "Yeah you are."
Lucy shook her head. "No, I'm not—"
"Luce," he cut her off, taking a large swig before he set down the can next to his feet. "You are. Coming from your daddy," he winked at the way she scowled. "And from your actual dad, you are. You and your dad just have a misunderstanding about how a real parent should be but he loves the hell out of you and he makes up for his ignorance and incompetence in parenting with a buttload of cash." He shrugged and he placed his hand on top of her small ones that nervously fiddled. "That's just something you two need to come to terms with figure out but I promise you that you're not as bad as you think you are when it comes to parents."
"How would you know?" She had a small teasing tone in her voice as his hand slid up her thigh, his large hand scorching hot against her skin.
He leaned in to bump noses and her eyelids drooped just a bit at his mesmerizing gaze. "I just know," he smiled. "So, what do you say?"
"I don't know about the whole summer… I'm going to have to go back home at one point…" She tapped her chin with a manicured finger while she hiccuped.
"I'd love to meet your dad," he beamed and she rolled her eyes.
"I wasn't suggesting you meet my dad. I don't know if he'd really care."
"That's fine if he does or doesn't. I only care about you," he planted a kiss on her cheek before he was reaching for his drink again, leaning back into his chair where the material groaned. "I'm sure I can change his mind. I'm kind of a big deal and persuasive." He winked at the blonde on his lap who had the glint of amusement flash through her chocolate orbs.
"Are you trying to fuck my dad?" She teased and his smile dropped, a slight glare tossed her way.
"Keep talkin' like that and I'll bend you over right here in front of everyone." His voice dropped an octave and she felt the familiar pulse of her pussy throb.
"You wouldn't." She challenged and his eyebrow quirked up.
"You wanna bet?"
"You want everyone else to see?" She gestured at the crowd that were oblivious to their bantering. His eyes seemed to scan the crowd and they met hers once they made a full circle, a mischievous grin pulling to his lips.
"Try me."
Lucy decided she most definitely would not try him because she could feel his hard dick pressing against her thigh and he was a couple too many drinks in to care about who watched them fuck. And knowing how at least every one of their brothers and sisters had walked in on them doing something, she wasn't going to give up a free show to stroke Natsu's ego.
She gave a lazy smile and cupped his face, leaning in to kiss him on the lips where he happily accepted with fierce affection.
"I'd love to meet your dad," she said softly, pressing her forehead against Natsu's who grinned widely. "As long as I get to meet Happy."
"He'd be the first one to meet ya. I told him all about you when I was home during break."
"All bad, I hope." She winked and he laughed out loud, stealing yet another kiss from his girl.
"Oh, yeah."
Fiddling with her hair, Erza let out a frustrated sigh as she couldn't smooth out that one persistent bump. She dropped all her hair and let it flow around her like ribbons, her scarlet hair sticking out compared to her pale complexion and black dress. Her heart was pounding inside of her chest at the idea of having to walk across stage with hundreds, if not thousands, of people watching her. Especially one certain person that she had become smitten with.
Today was the day Erza Scarlet was graduating and she didn't know how to feel about it.
While she didn't grow up with much due to her mother being a single mom, she didn't think she would get this far in life. She's never known her father or cared to know ever since her mother told her he wanted nothing to do with them and that was all for her to know to not get involved. Naturally she was a curious girl but she always knew from a young age that if someone doesn't want or like you, there's no point in trying to change their minds.
Erza is a very by the book type of person and has always been a peacemaker. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and rules were set for a reason so who was she to defy them?
Her mother worked her hardest to ensure they had food on the table and a roof over their head but that also meant she was rarely home. She grew up by herself in the comfort of their small one bedroom apartment. Her mother worked three jobs just to support them and she knew how hard of a worker her mother was so she tried her best to help out as much as she could.
Erza honestly didn't think her life was all too bad considering she had a loving mother who tried her hardest and she didn't have to endure physical abuse. She had a couple of friends who did and it made her sad to think such bright people went through such dark times.
She always wanted to grow up as fast as she could so she could get a good paying job to finally give the life her mother deserved.
That's why she went into MU with a full ride. She studied fine arts with a minor in precision metal working. MU happened to be one of the schools in the area to have such a program as she had fallen in love with welding and armory. Something about crafting armor for the military and for hobbies made her giddy and she had a great passion for it as her own room at home and here had scattered bits of make-shift clothes and armor.
Did she also mention how she liked acting as well? That was the reason behind her fine arts major but of course it also meant she couldn't major in blacksmithing so she had to push that as her minor.
"Hey, Erza!" Mirajane popped into her room forcing her away from her thoughts. "You think you could help with my dress?" She came further into the room in a long white dress that had the corset in the back hanging loose with the strings. "You look beautiful! Can you believe we're graduating today?" She almost gushed as she came closer to the scarlet-haired woman who offered a smile.
"Hard to believe," she murmured as the silver-haired one turned around, pulling her locks to the front. "Feels like just yesterday we were rushing and pledging together and now here we are: about to walk across the stage together."
"Life goes by in a blink of an eye," Mira smiled fondly as Erza began to tighten and tie her corset together. "We're about to be adults!"
"Mira, we've been adults." Erza smiled even wider, finding her friend adorable.
"Yes, but we're about to be real adults. Graduated college and out into the real world." She sounded almost breathless and Erza felt a slight tingling of bittersweetness course through her body.
Finishing off the bow on the back of the dress, Erza offered a pat on her back to indicate she was done and the silver-haired beauty turned to offer a wide smile back.
Mirajane and Erza had been friends for as long as anyone could remember. They grew up in the same town and went through all their school lives together. Mirajane's parents passed suddenly when she was only nine with her little sister and little brother to take care of, she had stepped up to the plate. Erza and her mother did their best to help considering they were also in no position to be but their friendship grew with their struggles and Mira had come to MU with a full ride in hopes of becoming a business owner.
Mirajane originally wanted to go to culinary school but her brother had ventured into that field so she decided to go into business so the Strauss' siblings could open up their own restaurant.
She also dabbled in event planning but for some reason, a lot of people told her she would be better off as a business woman and convinced her to stay in that field.
"Knock, knock!" Lucy's sing-song voice echoed, making the two older girls turn. "You two ready? You guys need to head down to the auditorium thirty minutes prior to the ceremony."
Mirajane just gasped, rushing out of the room to get her things while Erza went right back to facing the mirror.
"Should I keep my hair down or up?" She asked as her little sister approached her, standing behind her in the full length mirror.
"You should keep it down." Lucy smiled, brushing her hand through her scarlet locks. "That way it'll be easier to spot you and Jellal really loves your hair."
Erza flushed at her comment but didn't say anything, turning away to grab her belongings and her cap and gown that was hung behind her door. All the wrinkles and creases had been pressed free on the black gown with gold lining.
"We'll see you there, yeah?" Lucy's voice brought her back and she could only provide a warm smile to her little sister.
"I'll see you there." She echoed and in an instant Lucy was in her arms, hugging her tightly.
It surprised the older woman as she processed the situation before she was wrapping her own arms around the blonde.
"I'm going to miss you." Lucy murmured, her voice shaking slightly.
"I'll visit," Erza assured, holding the blonde tighter against her chest. "You think I'd let everyone off that easily?"
Lucy just laughed, pulling away as stray tears were immediately wiped away. She smiled widely, showing the sorrow she felt through their exchange. "I'm proud of you, Erza. You made it!" She sniffled, cheeks growing rosy. "You're going to be a big girl!"
Erza laughed along with Lucy, the two offering comfort towards one another's bitter sweetness. The scarlet-haired student grabbed her belongings and placed a hand on top of the golden head that belonged to her little sister, giving her one last warm smile before she was out the door with her gown in tow.
Lucy could only watch the woman walk away before she was rushing back to her room, trying to get ready for the graduation ceremony that would for sure have her in tears yet again.
"What's wrong, Lu?" Levy's voice brought her out of her haze.
Lucy looked up with blurry eyes and blinked back the tears that were threatening to fall once more. "Nothing. Just sad about everyone leaving."
"I know," Levy sighed sadly, a small smile on her lips. "But they'll always come back and I know we'll stay in touch afterwards."
"Yeah," Lucy wiped the tear from her eyes once more, smiling back at her best friend. "At least I still have you."
"It won't be long till it's our turn!" Levy sang, her small smile turning into a bigger one making Lucy smile along with her.
The anxiety of having to graduate and leave their little bubble of childish fun and lewd sex made her heart ache a bit. Lucy came to college for the experience and she sure as hell got one, especially ever since her fiery boyfriend came into her life. But the idea of having to head back home for the summer and then have Natsu leave her in the fall made her heart twist in a painful way.
Never did she think time would be flying by so fast but to see her friends graduate and move onto the next chapter in life was nice.
Now she had more things to worry about considering Natsu had asked her to come home with him to meet his dad and cat. The pure thought of having to meet another parent, especially a father, had her stomach doing all sorts of flops.
Lucy, by all means, was not a parent-like person. She dressed provocatively, her assets did no justice to the human eye to see her as anything else but someone curvy, and truth be told, she has no fucking clue how to even talk to fathers. Her own father is a very private man who swims in excessive amounts of cash and she could barely hold a conversation or two with him. How was she supposed to survive a week at his house and hopefully get the man who raised the man she loves to love her, too?
It's been making her anxious ever since Natsu broke the news to her a week ago and she was wondering if she should even mention anything to her own dad about bringing Natsu home.
But then again, when was he ever home to spend any time with her? He probably didn't care.
Natsu would be the very first guy she were to bring home and introduce so she wasn't entirely sure he wouldn't care but he never seemed to care about her interests so why would this be different?
She did have thoughts of whisking Natsu away during the summer to one of their extravagant beach houses and then eventually bringing all the others. She just had to see which one.
Lucy let out a gasp of surprise when she felt arms circle around her figure and she turned around to see a glimpse of pink. She relaxed into his arms, finding herself safe as he kissed her on the shoulder.
"What are you thinking about? You didn't even hear me come in." His voice sounded almost like a whine and she smiled.
She leaned back against his chest and inhaled his unique scent, basking in the warmth he carried. "Just graduation and the summer. Going to miss everyone."
"Nobody's going anywhere." He assured, squeezing her tighter in his arms. "Everyone will be around just like they are now. We just won't be seeing them all the time but they'll still be here."
"I know," she whispered softly. "Life is just moving too fast."
"Well, you don't ever have to worry about me because you're stuck with me." He spun her around to look at her, his signature grin mirroring his features while he held her at arm's length. "Forever." He emphasized and she laughed at the serious look he gave her.
"I don't ever remember promising forever." She said teasingly, a sly smile to her lips as Natsu looked taken back.
"Is this not forever?" He sounded disappointed and Lucy had to stifle a giggle.
"Forever is marriage, Natsu." She pursed her lips as Natsu frowned.
He stared at her for what felt like hours and suddenly he pulled away, leaving her cold and confused.
"Natsu, I didn't mean—" She started to speak but stopped when Natsu took a step back and dropped down to one knee. Her eyes widened in size as she stared at her boyfriend who knelt down in front of her, a glimmer of amusement and excitement flashing through his eyes. Her cheeks flushed and she stammered. "W—w—what are you doing?"
"Clearly we both have a different opinion on what forever means but if this is what you want," he shrugged nonchalantly before reaching forward to grab one of her hands. He placed his other one on his chest and a slight blush came to his cheeks. "I vow to you, Lucy Heartfillia, that this is forever and if it isn't, I'm going to hunt you down and force it to be." His wolfish grin came back and Lucy didn't know what to do but stare with a slack jaw and red face.
It took her a minute to recover and realize that her idiot of a boyfriend was serious as he stayed in a kneeled position with this wild look of determination on his face. Her entire body grew warm and her skin prickled with goosebumps as she began to laugh. Her petite form shook with how hard she was laughing and Natsu scrunched his face up in displeasure.
"I'm not kiddin'!" He said and it made her laugh even harder. "I'm serious!"
"Oh, Natsu," her laughter turned into light giggles and she stepped forward to cup his face in her hands. She smiled brightly at his flushed scowl and she leaned in to kiss him on the forehead. "I appreciate the gesture, I really do, but you're missing something."
"What am I missing?"
She held out her left hand to him, wiggling her ring finger in his face. "A ring." She grinned at his dumbfounded cross-eyed expression. "It's good practice, though. All you need is a ring and maybe a bit more cheese in your words and then we can talk."
Natsu quirked his brow at her, still kneeling on the floor as he stared at his girlfriend. She was giggling and glowing like the beauty she was and he couldn't stay irritated at her any longer, standing up on his two feet to sweep her off her own. She let out a squeal, demanding he put her down but he didn't listen as he tossed her on the bed and crawled over her, trapping her under his arms.
"We need to get ready!" She cried out, trying to push him off but her wide smile said otherwise.
"If you're talkin' rings," he ignored her protest, silencing her under him. "I need to know what ya like so I can snag it."
Her eyes widened once more as his warmth made her feel too warm all of a sudden, her heart thumping loudly against her ribcage.
"You don't want to marry me."
"Why not?"
"I'll drive you crazy."
"You already do," he scoffed. "Is that all you got?"
"I'm cranky and impulsive and high maintenance." She argued and Natsu's smile only grew.
"And?"
"And I'm emotional, stubborn, and have real bad daddy-issues."
Natsu barked out a laugh that had her flinching in surprise. She curled up as he leaned down to bump noses with her, her eyes drooping low to look into the dark ones that swirled with love and desire.
"That's okay," he whispered against her lips, hot air fanning her skin that had her shivering. "I like those traits about you."
"For now," she muttered, casting her eyes down but he bumped his nose against hers to have her look at him, again.
"Now, tomorrow, next year, ten years," he said, pinning her down with his stare. "Forever."
Lucy suddenly felt like any minute she would either throw up from all the butterflies that invaded her stomach or pass out from the heated proclamation of his love for her.
It just made her smile lovingly at him, her hands coming up curl around his shoulders before she yanked him down to catch his lips. He was quick to recover from the sudden action as he kissed her back, his hands finding their way up her shirt where his fingerpads gently tickled her skin. She shivered against him and moaned into his mouth as he forced his tongue in. Her fingers tangled in his locks and pulled him closer, her legs wrapping around his waist as his warm body pressed against hers.
Natsu groaned into her mouth when he felt her grind against his growing hard-on, his hand trailing up to give one of her girls a squeeze. He swallowed her moan, relishing in the way she sang for him.
"Natsu," she sighed as he began to kiss down her neck and massage her chest. "We really need to go—"
"We still have forty minutes," he murmured against her skin, continuing his trail. "And it's a ten minute walk."
"But still," she whined, squirming in his hold as he began to push the fabric of her shirt up. "I have to get ready and we need to get there to get good seats—ah!" She gasped as he yanked her shirt up and popped a nipple into his mouth. "Natsu!"
"How about I just make you feel really good for a minute?" His voice dropped low and the huskiness of his tone made her cheeks flush. "Please?"
She pouted, unsure how to reject him when he was looking at her as if he was a starved man. The heat between her legs became clear and she nervously chewed on her bottom lip.
"Fine," she finally gave in. "But make it quick."
"That depends all on you," he smirked, pulling away to grab her waistband. "Lift your hips up for me, baby." He pulled the fabric down as she lifted her hips up. She pulled her shirt off and laid bare for her boyfriend who drank her in like the finest wine. "You are so beautiful," he grabbed her by the legs, pulling her towards the edge of the bed. He spread her legs and took in the sight of her womanhood, his mouth watering at her bright pink lips. He kneeled down once more, wrapping his arms around her thighs as he felt her squirm around. "Stop moving."
"You're just staring," she said shyly, her face flushed from embarrassment.
"I like to admire my girl," he leaned in, his hot breath fanning across her folds. "She's beautiful."
Lucy felt her body jolt at the feeling of his wet tongue slide up her pussy lips and she let out a low moan. Her hands moved down to find his hair and she gripped them, holding him in place as he started to lap up her honeypot.
Her body trembled with pleasure as he worked his tongue against her womanhood, jolts rushing through as his tongue would nudge her growing clitorus. His grip on her thighs kept her legs spread as she gasped out, whimpering out his name while rocking her hips. She shamelessly rode his face, needing and wanting more as she moaned.
She bucked her hips as she felt his finger graze across her sopping entrance and she whined when he didn't grant her what she wanted.
"Natsu," she whined, her voice wavering as he sucked on her clit. "Please," she begged, hips bucking against his mouth. "I want to feel you."
"Feel what?" He challenged, continuing to work his tongue on her core. His eyes found hers and Lucy quivered under his gaze, her mouth parting to let out a moan. She was too busy moaning to respond, his mouth encircling around her clit as he gave it a suck and she cried out, her back arching off her bed.
"Oh, god, yes!"
He hummed against her folds, sliding his finger against her entrance to coat his finger before he was sinking himself into her. Her walls contracted and pulsed against his digit making him groan against her, the vibrations sending her nearly off the edge as she squeaked.
"Yes, yes, please, yes!"
Natsu pulled away with his chin dripping, his tongue coming out to swipe across his wet lips as he introduced a second finger into her. Lucy's voice shook as he stood back up, leaning over her naked quivering body as he continued to pump his fingers in and out of her.
"God, you are perfect," Natsu said more to himself than her as he watched her face twist in pleasure and her nipples pebble under his stare. "Can you cum for me, baby? All over daddy's fingers?"
Her whimper sent all the blood to his cock, his pants feeling a bit too tight and restricting. He let out a groan of his own, feeling how her wetness coated his hand and dripped down his wrist. "You are so fuckin' wet," he leaned in to whisper. "Your pussy is weeping. Crying to be stretched out by my cock," he continued his one-sided conversation while Lucy started to tremble, moans tumbling out of her lips.
Her glossy-eyed look and lewd sounds made him want to pound her into oblivion but his eyes were watching her clock.
"I'm going to fuck you so hard later," he leaned in to kiss down her throat once more, stroking his tongue against her skin while she quivered. His fingers moved faster and harder, slamming into her wet core while she cried out. "I want you so bad, Luce," he almost whined against her and Lucy latched onto him, clawing at his arms while his movement only got faster. "Cum on my fingers, baby, I want to feel your pussy throb." He moved his thumb to press against her swollen button.
That was enough to have her back arch and a cry fly out of her lips, her hips bucking against his hand as she reached her climax.
Natsu let out a low groan as he felt her walls throb and he went even faster, thrusting into her wet hole as liquid began to squirt out of her. It splattered all up his hand and arm, the wetness squirting upwards to coat her chest and their faces.
The lewd squelches of her pussy were the only thing heard with her harsh panting as he slowed his movement, fingers delicately curled and sliding in and out with ease.
"That's my girl," he praised, leaning in to kiss her gingerly. "That was hot as fuck."
Lucy whimpered as he pulled his fingers out and she laid limp on her bed, feeling the coldness of her wet juices under her ass. Her body tingled with the feeling of reaching her high and her nipples were rock solid as she fought to catch her breath. She watched with hooded eyes and a throbbing core as he sucked his fingers clean of her.
"Come on, we don't want to be late now, do we?" He grinned at her and she could only sigh, wondering when he would finally be the death of her.
—X—
Shuffling through the crowd, the group of Fairy Tail took up the majority of one section as they all talked and laughed with one another.
Lucy sat right down beside Levy who was seated next to Gajeel, the usual gruff man nodding his head in acknowledgement to the blonde and her boyfriend. Gray sat beside Natsu and the row of DT brothers sat beside and behind alongside FZ filling in the rest.
Excited chatter filled the auditorium as many friends and family members filled in the seats that were all soon to be gone.
"When is this starting?" Natsu was already groaning, his hands rubbing on his face. "Graduation always takes so long for no reason."
"The ceremony is about two hours long," Levy said, making the rosy-haired one groan even louder. "And I think we're going out to celebrate. Mirajane rented out the bar up the street for Fairy Tail."
Natsu perked up at this, his smile growing as he leaned over to look at Levy. "For real? Open bar?"
"I think so. I think some of our dues were put to it."
"Fuck yeah," Natsu fist pumped, leaning back into his seat where it groaned with his weight. "Now we're talkin'."
"I already know this is going to be crazy," Lucy sighed along with Levy who agreed silently. "You better not throw up in my bed, again." She turned to look at Gray who gaped at his friends.
"That wasn't my fault—"
"Gray, you literally drink so much to the point where you're belligerent and the next thing we know is that you're naked and throwing up."
Gajeel scoffed, muttering under his breath. "Lightweight."
"Hey, you want to say that any louder, metal-face?" Gray threw his fist in the air, scowling.
"Let's talk after two shots." He smirked and Gray tried to stand up in his seat but the loud microphone screeched to make everyone come to a hush.
Gray sat back down, grumbling under his breath while he sulked.
The dean of Magnolia University stood on stage, welcoming everyone to their graduation ceremony and going on about how proud he is of everyone. He began to go into the history of MU and how many graduations he had attended and his monotone voice was a bore on its own.
Lucy became annoyed as Natsu leaned in to her, pretending to snore as he complained about how boring this whole thing was. She nudged him off, scowling at him as she shushed him and he was whining, trying to get her to entertain him. Eventually, this had Levy shushing him as she gave him a stern glare, finger to her lips.
And not wanting to deal with Levy, Natsu crossed his arms, threw himself back into his chair, and muttered things under his breath just how Gray was.
Soon enough, music began to play and the graduates all began to file out of the side, finding their seats as they had rehearsed. The fiery red hair of Erza was easily spotted from where they were, shouts of her name and cheers coming in as the woman looked over at her Greek family.
Mirajane and Evergreen were also cheered for and as soon as Laxus had come out on his own, the rambunctious group of boys all whooped loudly behind their seats making them jolt in surprise. Bixslow and Freed were also cheered for very loudly with the mocking boos of Max when he came on out. He made sure to flick everyone off and they were barking out in laughter. It caused those around to look and whisper to each other, annoyed with how loud and obnoxious the group was.
Lucy could only sigh, sliding down in her seat as she tried to shield her face away to act as if she wasn't a part of them.
She was grateful to have the graduation ceremony start, trying her best to pay attention to what the valedictorian had to say and some of the other professors. But it was so hard when your boyfriend is a little kid trapped in a twenty two year old body and has the attention span of a peanut. She could barely concentrate as he whined and groaned, louder every time as if he wanted to piss her off.
Of course it had to be her own goddamn boyfriend who had to act this childishly and she was beginning to conjure up a gruesome murder for the said man beside her.
By the time the graduating students were to walk across the stage, Natsu was in the process of bothering everyone around him which created a huge stir and most of them were going back and forth arguing and taunting one another.
They were shushed many times by those around and then eventually the most embarrassing part was when the dean had to call them out publicly making her entire face grow red.
She was against Levy who hid against her own boyfriend as they tried to blend themselves in but she knew Erza was glaring at them all from the way they all became hush.
And then Natsu was whining once more, saying how hungry and bored he was and kept asking when it'd be over when he had the stupid fucking program in his hands. She really was considering her options at this point as she could most definitely shove him off and have him tumble to the ground and potentially silence him forever. And or she could threaten to break up with the man if he spoke but she didn't want to hurt his feelings and create a fight. Best believe she really was going to stoop that low eventually because he really didn't know when to shut the fuck up.
It's already been a little over an hour since the ceremony had started and she kind of wished she just came late just so she didn't have to deal with Natsu for the entire two hours.
"Natsu," she finally hissed, yanking him close by his ear as he cried out. "Be a good boy and shut the fuck up. I can't handle your whining and disturbing behavior any longer. You are being so childish and we've already gotten in trouble."
Natsu chuckled at her making Lucy scowl deeper, the male leaning away from her grasp before he leaned back in, his hot breath tickling her ear. "You know it turns me on when you're feisty," he purred and Lucy shivered, leaning away from his smirking face. "What's wrong? Can't take the heat?"
"I'll kill you."
"I'd love to see you try," his eyes flashed mischief and he was grinning at her. "How about we leave a little early?" His hand landed on her thigh and her eyes flickered down at it before looking back up, brown meeting black.
"You don't want to mess with me right now. I'll choke you out."
"I wouldn't mind if you did as long as you're sitting on this cock with your tits out."
Lucy felt the shiver run up her spine and she hated how Natsu smirked at her, his eyes dragging up her body as he followed her shiver. When his eyes found hers again, the familiar heat rose to her cheeks and she swatted his hand away.
"Come on, Luce, let's leave." He started trailing his finger up her thigh, starting from her knee up to her upper thigh.
"Natsu, stop it. We are not leaving!"
"Can you two shut the fuck up," Gray hissed, now leaning into their conversaion as he was more interested in this than the ceremony taking place. They both turned to look at him, Lucy's eyes wide as Natsu looked more irritated. "If you're leaving, can I come, too?"
"Oh for god sakes, Gray." Lucy tossed her arms in the arm, giving him a look. "The least we could do is stay since our friends are graduating."
"I'm not saying we should leave the place," he frowned, looking at Natsu for support. "I meant just this seat. We can wait for them outside."
"Can we come, too?" Levy was now whispering towards them and Lucy jumped, whirling around to see her best friend smiling sheepishly. "This is boring."
"See? I'm not the only one." Natsu grinned, four pairs of eyes now looking at the blonde to see her verdict. "Let's go. We can get a head start on everyone before it gets congested."
"Wow, who knew you actually had a brain in that small head of yours."
"Shut it, ice-dick. I can be smart, too."
"Fine," Lucy groaned, giving into the devils on her shoulders. "But I'm not going to be responsible for Erza's wrath later because you wanted to be loud."
"At least I'll be alive for it, I almost died from boredom." He grabbed her hand, pulling her with him. "Come on, let's go." He whispered, ducking to keep from blocking those above them and Gray was leading the way, apologizing to people as they stepped over their legs.
The five of them made a swift exit, ignoring their brothers and sisters who were whispering questions at them and finally got out of the auditorium. Natsu groaned, stretching his arms up high while Gray cracked himself side to side.
"That shit was terrible," Gajeel sneered, standing up tall with his arms crossed. "Why did I even come to this?"
"Because your friends are graduating," Levy scowled and all she got was a scoff in response. "Don't even." She whirled away from him before he could say anything. "So, what are we doing now?"
"Well, we need to wait for Mira and them so we can take photos." Lucy didn't even react to the way Natsu held onto her as if she was a balloon that would float away. "And then we can head down to the bar to secure a seat."
"It's an open bar!" Natsu reminded, giddy about getting his money's worth on alcohol.
"Oh fuck yeah," Gray was cheering along with his roommate.
"Gray, you'll be blacked out before everyone gets there." Gajeel snickered as the dark-haired frat boy glared.
"I challenge you to a drink off!"
"You won't last," Gajeel waved his hand dismissively, making Gray gawk. "You'll be throwing up like a little bitch."
"Just because a guy likes to puke and rally doesn't make me a bitch."
"But you don't even rally afterwards. You just puke." Lucy pointed out and the group was laughing out loud. Gray just looked at the blonde in faux offense, his hand pressed against his chest.
"Lucy, how could you pick the dark side?"
"That's my girl," Natsu grinned lovingly, kissing up on her face as she squealed.
Gray just grimaced, taking a step back from the lovey dovey couple. "You two honestly make me sick."
"Where's Juvia?" Levy asked, interrupting Natsu before they started to fire off insults back and forth.
At the mention of the water woman, Gray turned away, hiding his blush on his pale face as the others stared with smug expressions.
"I guess that means I won, Lev." Lucy grinned and all Levy did was groan out loud at the mention of her loss. This made Gray turn and look at them, blinking stupidly as he squinted at them.
"You two bet on my love life?" He asked, shocked and a bit offended.
"Technically you didn't win, either," Levy and everyone else ignored Gray who gawked at the disrespect. "He didn't ask her out."
"Yes, but you said by Greek week so you already lost."
"We're both losers here. It's summer break and he's yet to ask her!"
"Uh, he is standing right here." Gray tried to insert himself back into the conversation but was ignored once more.
"What was going to be the winning prize?" Natsu asked and Gray was starting to feel like a brick fucking wall as he was yet again ignored.
"Levy wanted to use my cabin up in St. Haboke."
"And it would have been nice, too," the petite woman punched the air, showing her frustration.
"We can still go," Lucy offered, making the blue-haired one perk up. "I've been meaning to ask if we'd like to do one big summer trip. Especially since Natsu and I both have summer birthdays and I think it'd be nice for all of us to reconnect." She explained and she found Gray's eyes in the crowd. "So, would you ask Juvia to come or are you two not dating?" She asked, getting back on track of the original conversation.
"W—we've takin' things slow," he scowled, turning his head away again.
"Geez, how slow are you talking? It's nearly been a year." Gajeel asked, making Gray glare at him.
"I don't want to hear it from you!"
"Hey, at least I did it," He raised his arms up in surrender as Levy scowled at him, swatting at his side. "I did!"
"That makes you the only single loser in the group," Natsu snickered while Gray swung at him, missing barely by his hair as he dodged the attack. "Hey! You want to get your ass beat?!"
"Lets not do this here," Lucy sighed, pulling her boyfriend closer to her. "The point is: she's not going to wait around forever. What is scaring you so bad?"
"I don't want to be like these two dopes," he scrunched his face up at the way Gajeel and Natsu growled and glared. "Besides, what's the fuckin' rush?"
Lucy sighed, waving her hands at him dismissively as she didn't want to get into this again with him and she noticed how people were beginning to file out the doors as well. "Oh, I think it might be over! Let's go see if we can find them." Lucy ushered her friends to follow.
Gray was all the way in the back, watching with a pout as Gajeel held onto Levy and Natsu held onto Lucy.
In a way, he wanted that too and he could only glance to his side to imagine Juvia latched onto him, giggling and blushing like the beauty she is. A ghost of a smile lingered and he wondered what she was up to or if she had eaten today yet. He hadn't seen her in a couple days since he had been busy with finals and attending this graduation ceremony.
Maybe it was time to claim what was rightfully his but why did he keep having that voice in his head whisper that he shouldn't?
"Congratulations class of 2023!"
Roars of excitement and cheers filled the bar as Fairy Tail occupied almost every inch of the place. The excited chatter and laughter made it lively and the clinks of glasses echoed. There were bartenders and waitresses tending to those around and groups of people scattered to have their own little get together.
Slinging back their shots, the group let out a sigh and whines, the harsh burning liquor rushing through their bodies.
"Congrats you guys!" Lucy cried out, already four too many drinks in as her pale face glowed from the alcohol. "I can't believe you guys are leaving!"
"It's not like you won't ever see us," Mirajane smiled, pushing the empty shot glasses towards the edge of the table. "We're going to visit and stay in touch."
"And to think we're not too far from graduating either." Lucy barely heard what Mira had to say as she turned to look at Levy with glossy eyes.
Levy just shrugged. "I might continue my masters. We'll see."
"Fuck that," Natsu scoffed, leaning back against his seat as his arm wrapped around his girlfriend's chair. "Once I am out I ain't doing any school work anymore. Already suffered through fifteen years of this shit."
"I'm hoping I can just live my stay-at-home life with my engineer." Lucy cooed, leaning into her boyfriend who snickered, wrapping his arms around her small frame. She squealed as he gave her sloppy kisses on the cheek, the couple being as sappy as ever.
"Ugh," Gray sneered at the couple who were right next to him, leaning away. "I need another drink."
"Where's Juvia?" Mira asked, making the others turn and look at the ink-haired student.
Gray scowled, a slight blush coming to his cheeks. "Where the hell is our waitress?!"
"He doesn't like to talk about water woman," Gajeel responded for Gray as Mira raised her brow at his nickname for Juvia. "He's too much of a bitch to make a move."
"Gajeel, shut the fuck up." Gray growled, slamming his fist onto the table where the empty glasses clattered. "Keep out of my business."
"Gajeel, you're upsetting him." Levy turned to glare at her boyfriend who rolled his eyes.
"I am not upset!"
"You sound pretty upset, dude."
"Natsu, I'll fucking kill you right now."
"Gray, nothing wrong with taking things slow," Lucy butt into the conversation, leaning across Natsu so she could come closer to Gray. Gray narrowed his eyes, leaning away from the blonde who could never take her liquor so well as she hiccuped. "We're just sayin' that it'd be nice for Juvia to finally join our group."
"Not like she isn't already." Levy pointed out as Lucy nodded along. "We just want to see her more."
"Then invite her your damn self," Gray got up from his seat, screeching the chair across the floor. "I'm going to go get a fucking drink."
"Oh! Can you please bring back more shots?" Lucy asked, smiling at the frat brother who scowled. "Please?" She tilted her head to the side and Gray groaned, walking away from the cute puppy-dog eyes she was giving him. "Gray!"
"I got it!" He shouted back, leaving the table altogether as he pushed past people.
Erza and Jellal approached, seeing how Gray stormed off and the scarlet-haired graduate furrowed her brows, watching his retreating figure before turning to look at her friends who all smiled innocently at her.
"What's wrong with Gray?"
"He's just being a bitch about Juvia," Natsu waved his hand dismissively, leaning back on his chair as he tipped it against the hind two legs. "What do you have there?" He was more interested in the tray Jellal held onto.
"Shots for everyone." Jellal set down the tray, dishing out the shots to those sitting as they cooed. Jellal even took one for himself, handing one to Erza who shyly accepted before he turned to look at the table. "Here's to the graduates as they venture into the real world and begin their lives. May you all find happiness and success." He held up his shot glasses and the group whooped for Mirajane and Erza who had the biggest smiles on their faces.
At once, they all downed their alcohol and Levy was making a face as she gagged while Lucy was chugging water from her glass to get rid of the taste. Natsu barked out in laughter while he watched his girlfriend grimaced and Gajeel was burping up his own disgust.
"What the hell was that?" Gajeel asked, fist covering his mouth as he kept burping up gas.
"It's a cherry bomb." Erza offered a smile at the pierced male. "My favorite."
"Oh no," Levy groaned as Lucy whooped.
"Love cherry bombs!"
"Guess we're stayin' up tonight." Natsu smirked at the way Gajeel groaned. Mirajane could only giggle as she enjoyed one of the last times they would be all together like this.
The bittersweetness of leaving behind years of memories and lifetime friends was painful but all she could do was find herself looking for a certain blonde who was in the back of the bar laughing and drinking with his fraternity brothers.
While in the midst of a challenge of some sort being tossed around, Mirajane had excused herself, disappearing from the crowd as Cana had taken her seat. Levy and Lucy were leaning against each other, both drunk and getting drunker by the second as Gray had come back with a tray of shots. Natsu was quick to taunt his roommate and force him into participating in a drinking game while Gajeel made it worse by commenting how much of a lightweight Gray was.
And while everyone all agreed to play and they laughed and talked, Erza found herself wondering how she would survive in the real world without her friends.
The hand of Jellal is what kept her grounded as he placed a reassuring hand on her knee, a soft smile bringing her blush back.
Deep down, she knew she'll be fine as Greek life is forever.
